“I really don’t think this is a good idea y/n.” Snow paces around the room as you sip your tea. “I’ll be fine Coryo, It’s a duty as First Lady that I need to do. It brings hope and somewhat unity to the districts.” Snow stops to look at you, his piercing blue eyes never failing to make you squirm under his gaze.
“If any of them touch you I swear-“ He storms your direction before you cut him off, “No one is going to touch me Snow. The baby and I will be perfectly fine.” You reach for his hand and place it on the barely there swell of your stomach. He lets out a sigh, dropping to his knees as he leans his head gently on your stomach.
“I want you back in one piece, untouched.” He softly says as you put your hands on either side of his face. “I promise.” Was all you said before kissing his forehead, the tip of his nose, and finally his soft tender lips that moulded perfectly against yours.
A knock at the door made you look behind your back, “The train is ready,” A voice called out. Snow stands up, towering over you as you embrace him in a tight hug. “Be safe. I love you.” He says against your hair as you rub his back. “I love you too,” You say, muffled slightly against his chest.
The trip to all the districts was going to take some time, around 3 months or so. 3 months away from the Capitol, 3 months away from your Coriolanus. But as First Lady, it was your duty to bring a sense of unity and hope to everyone, including the districts.
Coriolanus was against this trip ever since your brought it up. After his exile, he never spoke about what happened during his years as a peacekeeper, all you knew was that he sacrificed so much to return and become President. You never probed him into telling you exactly what happened, you just knew it was something he rather kept a distant memory.
~
Visiting each district went smoothly. Majority of the people respected you. And you only treated them with equalness and kindness. That was just who you were. Coriolanus ensured that the most strongest guards accompanied you. You felt safe most of the time.
Except for an attack during your visit to district 8. You weren’t harmed but shaken up to say the least. When news of this came back to the Capitol, Coriolanus urged you to finish your trip that instance and return but your refused, saying it would only make people perceive you as weak, and just like the others at Capitol.
Nearly 3 months had passed and you finally made it to the last district, district 12. You were already 3 months pregnant. District 12 was the poorest and smallest district, but you personally enjoyed it the most. Lots of singing and dancing happened around which you enjoyed after an exhausting 3 months of travelling.
You were sat at the back of a bar where everyone was dancing and singing along to the female singer on stage. Guards were by your side, ready for anything that may come your way. All of a sudden, a woman came up to you, she had a cloak over her head, slightly covering her face.
The guards came closer to you but you gestured them to back off. “Lady Y/n, It is an honour to see you here in our district,” Her voice spoke. You smile, “It’s my pleasure. I find district 12 my favourite, but don’t go telling the other districts that” You chuckle as the woman does the same.
“What’s your name?” You ask, trying to search her features that were covered. “Lucy. Lucy Gray Baird.” That name. It was so familiar to you. “Have I met you? Lucy Gray?” You try and dig through your memories seeing if you could match the name to a face.
She chuckles. “I don’t think so. Though I am familiar with your Husband, the President.” She pulls back her hood and it all clicked. Lucy Gray. Coriolanus’ tribute during the 10th hunger games. “I’m familiar with you now Lucy. The tribute my husband mentored, the tribute he cheated for.” You nod your head at her as she smiles.
You knew Coriolanus was a peacekeeper in this very district. What you didn’t understand was why he was relocated from district 8 to district 12. A surge of curiosity courses through your veins. Curiosity to what happened here while Snow was peacekeeper, what sacrifices he had to make in order to become President.
“Would you like to sit down? I have a few questions I hope you are able to answer for me, please.” Your voiced out in slight desperation. Lucy studies you for a moment before nodding her head. You look towards the guards who nodded their head and give the two of you space, but still on watch out.
“My husband was to be a peacekeeper in district 8 yet he was relocated here. Do you know any reason as to why that happened? I need you to be completely honest with me Lucy.” You felt a sense of guilt. You promised Snow you wouldn’t dig into what happened during his exile, but you couldn’t help it.
“I will be completely honest with you, Y/n.” You take her hands in yours as she glances down at your hands. “Coriolanus relocated here because of me,” She slowly said as you search her eyes to see if she was lying. She wasn’t.
You swallow as you urged her to continue. She then revealed everything to you. From bobbin being murdered by him in the arena, to him killing the mayor’s daughter Mayfair, and the death of Sejanus which she suspected was Snow’s doing. Lucy also revealed to you her relationship that she had with Coriolanus.
It started even when you and Coriolanus were together, but you just had no idea. You tried to stay as far away as you could from the hunger games. You were utterly shocked. It made so much sense to you. Snow’s words hinted what he did and Lucy’s words backed them up perfectly.
“And what happened between you and him?” You fidget with your fingers. “I was scared. So scared of him Y/n. I thought he was going to kill me when he found guns in the cabin. And that was exactly what he tried doing but I escaped.” Lucy let out a shaky breath as you listen intently. “Thank you. Thank you for telling me this.” You hold her hands before placing money in them as her eyes widen.
“Take care Lucy Gray.” Was all you said before you got up, leaving the bar. “This trip comes to an end right now.” Your voice was shaky as you step into the train back to the Capitol. Your mind was swirling with thoughts. What Lucy Gray told you made you question so many things about Snow.
You knew he would never hurt you. But there was still the lingering thought that he might. You knew Snow came back a changed man, but you never knew how much he had changed and what sacrifices he had to make. The trip back felt like an eternity. You could hardly sleep, drink or eat. Thoughts plagued your mind.
The train came to a halt, but you were deep in thought to even realise. A hand touched your arm, “Are you okay?” Coriolanus asks in a worried tone as you stare at him in confusion. “Y/n? Y/n!” Was all you heard before you saw blackness.
~
You slowly open your eyes as you adjust to the bright light. You look around your surroundings and felt a heavy weight on your hand. “Coryo?” You weakly say as he wakes up in surprise. “Y/n. Thank God you’re okay,” He hugs you tightly.
“What happened?” You touch your head that was pounding, “You passed out on the train. The doctors said you barely ate anything or slept. What happened?” He asks as he cups your face in his big hands. Memories of what happened came running back to you.
Lucy Gray’s words came back to you. You suddenly push Coriolanus off of you. He looks at you in shock. “Did I do something?” “Get out.” You softly say, refusing to look at him. “What? Y/n-“ “I said get out Coriolanus!” You say this time louder and more stern. He swallows hard, before leaving you alone just as you asked.
You uncontrollably start to sob. Your heart was aching so much. You understood he had to do whatever it took but killing those innocent people…. You couldn’t wrap your head around it. As you sobbed you felt something wet in between your legs. You pause. No. No.
You quickly throw the blanket off of you as you scream at the sight of blood. “Help! Someone please help me!” You scream as tears continue to fall down your face. The door burst open to reveal Snow there, a horrified look on his face at the sight of blood. “Why me?” Was all you said in between your sobs as Snow runs out.
~
“I’m so sorry,” The doctor says to Coriolanus as you lay on your side, your back facing him as hot tears streamed down your face. You had just lost the baby. Exhaustion, lack of sleep and food led to it. “Y/n…” Snow’s voice was soft, you flinch at his touch on your shoulder as he backs off.
“She told me everything.” You manage to say, you turn over but refuse to look him in the eyes. Confusion etched his features at what you possible could mean. “Lucy Gray. She told me everything” Coriolanus’ features harden at the sound of her name. “She’s lying. You honestly trust a district’s word?”
“Everything she said made pretty darn sense Coriolanus. The sacrifices you made? You mean killing your best friend and innocent people! And you and Lucy. Look me in the eyes and tell me that never happened.” He looked taken back. You sobbed as you cover your mouth in disbelief. “I can’t believe this oh my god!”
“Do you even love me?” You asked. Coriolanus rushed to your side, taking your hands in his. “Of course I do. Of course I love you Y/n. More than anything. I did whatever it took to come back to you. You have to understand that.” A few tear drops fall from his eyes as he pleads.
“I just need time and-and space. Please.” You screw your eyes shut as you look away. Coriolanus sniffles before standing up, straightening his jacket as he nods. “Of course, I understand.” As soon the door shut closed, another round of tears gush from your eyes.

the Birth of Venus
daemon x reader smut
A/N: reader is mentioned to be Valyrain but I don't think I really describe features. This is based off a request here. hope you like it!!
word count: 1,106 words
TW: smut, allusions to possible incest, breeding kink, pussy slapping, pushing down on the tummy hehe
Tumblr media
Is this the third or fourth time he’s been exiled? Daemon can’t seem to keep up. His own sweet niece was the cause of it this time. He couldn’t, or rather wouldn’t, keep his hands off of her. He heads to Lys this time. He enjoys Lys, mainly taking pleasure from the appearance of Lyseni whores. That’s what draws him to you. You sit in the pleasure house, surrounded by the other girls who all try to look desirable. The madam has you posing as the Birth of Venus. She gave you the honour of portraying the love goddess herself, encircled by the nymphs. His eyes fill with lust at the sight of you. Who better to play as Venus than a girl who looks so inherently… Valyrian.
“I want her.” He says to your madam as he looks directly at you, his gaze piercing.
“My Lord, I am afraid I am reserved.” You say with a little smirk on your face. You were told to speak these words every time you were asked for until a bid for your virginity is accepted.
“No she’s not.” The madam says quickly. “But she is a virgin… a very expensive one, my prince.” You bristle at the title. A prince?
“No price is too great for such a pretty little nymphet.” He says, dropping a bag of gold coins into her hand.
“I am no nymph. I am Venus.” You say, putting yourself on a pedestal for him.
He looks amused. “I’m sure you are.” He says and holds up a hand for you to take, leading you off your watery throne.
“You are a prince?” You ask innocently.
“The Rogue Prince.” You nearly gasp.
“You’re Daemon Targaryen.”
“Who else would I be?” He holds open a door for you, letting you enter first.
“Some rich Lyseni lord who has enough money to call himself ‘prince’.” You say a bit snippily.
“I can prove it to you, show you my dragon, Caraxes.” He says as he walks up behind you, brushing your hair off your shoulder.
“Is that what you call your cock?” You ask playfully. He laughs.
“You’re quick… for a harlot.” He presses a light kiss to your neck.
“I’m no harlot yet. Not while I am still a maiden.” You whisper.
“I can fix that.” He doesn’t take the time to untie your chemise, he instead tears it down the middle and lets the shreds slip off of you, causing you to gasp. He is clearly pleased by your lack of smallclothes. You can tell by the way his fingers trace around your breasts. “Such a pretty girl. You’re no common Lyseni whore. There’s Valyrian blood in you. I can feel it.” He turns you and brushes a strand of hair behind your ear. You gaze up at him. “Tell me of your parents.”
You shrug. “My mother washes clothes.”
“And your father?”
You shrug again.
“Hmm…” He hums. The prince clearly thinks that you’re dragonseed. He just is trying to figure out who’s you are, deciding that you are perhaps a little too old to be his.
“Is it a matter of importance, my prince?” You ask, your tone a little too disrespectful for the fact that you are speaking to royalty.
“Should you be speaking to a man who has you, naked in a bedchamber, like that?” He speaks, always with that air of amusement. He enjoys your temper. It’s the same Targaryen temper that he has.
“I have been reserving it for you, your grace.”
He chuckles. “Little seductress.” He grabs you by the chin, gently as first before swiftly tilting your head up and to the side. “Get on the bed.”  You scurry over, quickly lying on the bed. His eyes are dark as he looks over you. He pulls his trousers down slightly so he can pump his cock as he watches you. It makes you nervous, how domineering he is, how… large certain parts of him are. “Don’t be scared. I’m going to make a woman out of you.”
“I can’t imagine, with all that confidence, that some of it isn’t misplaced.” You tease because you can see how he likes it.
“Spread your legs.” Is all that he says in response. You do as he bids and are surprised when a harsh slap comes down between your thighs.
“Ah!” You wince and curl in on yourself.
“I didn’t say to close them.” He says sternly so you spread your legs again and take the following two smacks without complaint. Your eyes are watering at this point. “Not so bratty now, are you?” He gives you one of those wolfish smirks and you pout.
“Are you toying with me or fucking me? It must be hard to get it up at your age.” Now, you’ve given him something to prove. Just after you get the words out, he sheaths himself inside of you, right to the hilt.
“I was going to be gentle with you, Venus, but now I don’t think you deserve it.”
“I didn’t think that dragons were meant to be gentle.” He can see a similar fire burning in your eyes, a twinflame to himself. He brings his lips down to yours for a hungry kiss before he begins to pound into you. It hurts from his size but that only makes it better. You want him, desperately.
“Do I… please you, my prince?” You put on an innocent face for him.
“I think your tight cunt would please any man, zaldrītsos.” He says as he fucks into you ruthlessly.
“zaldrītsos?” You ask him.
“It means you’re my little dragon, my zaldrītsos.” He nibbles at your neck and you whimper, his thrusts continue quickly and deeply. “I’m going to put a baby in you. You’ll carry my heir, Venus.” He places his hand on your tummy. “Right in here.” He presses down and the action pushes you over the edge as you tightly squeeze around him, your peak washing over you in full force. “Fuck.” He murmurs. “So tight.” The way you contract around his cock has him spilling his seed deep inside of you.
He pulls himself out but quickly replaces his cock with his fingers so none of his cum spills out. “Can’t have you wasting my seed now.”
“I’ll have a baby now, my prince?” You look at him from beneath your lashes. You’ve never yearned for someone so. It is like your blood calls for his.
“If I breed you regularly, you will.” He runs his thumb over your lips. “Then… then I think that I just might make you my wife.”

Summary: With Prince Choi having backed you into a corner, you feel as though you were trapped inside a golden birdcage. Perhaps, marrying the twisted prince was your one way out, without having to cause disastrous consequences?
Though in the middle of your crisis, you hear a demanding knock on your door; you knew who it was. Taehyun was not going to let anything slide, not whilst he was still alive. After all, this young sorcerer was the person who once came face to face with epitome of betrayal himself.
Tumblr media
The sunlight beams through the grandiose windows of the hallway as the two sorcerers converse seriously, both adorning their cloaks. Soobin peers at the blonde haired man with a deep frown, “I…I can’t believe it.”
Taehyun bitterly hums, “I couldn’t either at the time. But after having so much time to think, it made sense why he did that. Not that it was right; but I was lying to myself when I couldn’t see the signs at the time. I knew internally he was jealous and I relished it.” Soobin regards Taehyun blankly.
The two men had engaged in a serious conversation in which Soobin pestered Taehyun to explain what happened all these years. He was appalled to find out the cause for Taehyun and his father’s exile. He couldn’t believe it, how was his father capable of such an act? No way! Trying to assassinate the king and the pregnant queen?
Even he could see, that his father would never do such a thing; he knew Taehyun’s father (regardless of how vain and strict he was), was a man of principle, of morals. Nothing made sense, how could the Royal Court of Fortuna fall for such a clear attempt to frame two powerful sorcerers; Taehyun was but a young child at the time!
“I’m speechless. I…” Soobin breathes out wide-eyed. Taehyun mutters grumpily, slightly regretting his choice to tell him about what had happened. Taehyun always had a hard time trusting anyone ever since the events of his past occurred. But with the way Soobin was begging, believing he had offended him, Taehyun felt as though divulging a little couldn’t hurt. Nothing could happen anyway; what’s done was done.
Soobin was a close friend of Taehyun’s back at the prestigious Sorcerer’s Tower. He was training as an apprentice there alongside himself, Yeonjun and a few others. Whilst the others were mere characters of the background, excluding himself and Yeonjun, the only other sorcerer of note was Soobin.
He had potential, but just needed time. He was a sweet boy, dedicated to his craft and quiet as a child, preferring to observe rather than speak. He was often referred to as the weakest of the friendship trio.
Soobin questions, “Does…the Princess know about this?” Taehyun shakes his head, “I don’t wish to burden her with my past, Soobin. I don’t need my baggage weighing her down. She already has enough issues as is. Maybe if she’s curious enough, perhaps.”
Soobin says, “You know, I’d never have thought Yeonjun to be that way. He always told me he admired you. That he was honoured to have such a talented sorcerer to call his ‘best friend.” Taehyun’s gaze darkens, “What an utter load of shit.” Soobin dryly muses, “I suppose I have always been rather naive. I didn’t think he was lying.”
“You are,” Taehyun cuts in with a smirk, “I remember tricking you into thinking me and Yeonjun snapped your wand in half in an argument.” Soobin grimaces, “No, no don’t remind me. I was on the verge of tears.” Taehyun snickers, “I had only hid your wand under your table, but you believed me. You didn’t even ask to see the supposed broken wand.”
Soobin’s cupid lips form a pout, “You’re starting to sound like old yourself again.” Taehyun hums composing himself immediately, “I guess meeting an old friend does that to you. Oh yes, you didn’t even cry, all you said was ‘that’s okay, it’s fine, really,‘ whilst trying not to hold back your tears.”
Soobin rolls his eyes and crosses his arms, “Okay, okay I get it, I was and still am a little gullible, a bit naive.” Taehyun snorts amusingly.
The two men stand in a comfortable silence; their previous tensioned atmosphere lightens. Both their minds rush with reminiscent memories of their childhood. Taehyun murmurs, “Shame, you left so early on.” Soobin releases a breathy chuckle, “Yes, I suppose. But I don’t regret it. I’ve been given a lot of good opportunities here in Luna. I want to expand the use of sorcery in Luna, kind of like the way your father did in Fortuna.” Taehyun frowns.
“Prince Beomgyu believes there’s a lot of potential for sorcery and magic here, that we could rival Fortuna if we play our cards right. He’s been so supportive of me and the apprentices. The royal sorcerer here has also treated me well. I’m bound to become the next royal sorcerer for sure!” Soobin exclaims with a bright smile. Taehyun's lips twitch, “I always knew you had potential, you just needed the right motivation and environment. It’s…it’s good to hear that Soobin.”
The words hit Soobin and his heart aches. Soobin shares, “You know, I was always envious of both of you, I both admired your ability and natural affinity for sorcery. I admired Yeonjun‘a charisma, charm and his wand techniques, his ability to carry out any new spell within the first try with ease.” Taehyun listens intently.
“You, on the other hand, were in a completely different league. The son of the Royal Sorcerer, the pioneer of Fortuna’s Sorcery Legacy. No wonder Yeonjun was jealous of you, even if he didn’t show it. Hell, I was jealous. I think everyone in the damn class was.” Taehyun scowls, “Jealousy is fine, but that doesn’t mean being a backstabbing piece of shit.”
Soobin snorts, “True, but the way you handled your mana, your wand techniques, your ability to memorise hundreds upon hundreds of spells and enchantments. I could never understand.”
Taehyun remains quiet; he never did have to think too hard about it. He could sympathise with Soobin’s perspective. Soobin never once hurt him or showed any signs of harmful jealousy.
“Thank you,” Taehyun utters lowly, “You’ve improved. I can tell, you’re confident in your abilities, I can sense it.”
Soobin smiles genuinely, “I worked hard here. I remembered your advice, your father’s advice. You even gave me some of your notes to take with me when you heard I was moving.” Taehyun says nothing; feeling a dull ache in his chest. The past always seems to somehow catch up to him in the most convoluted of ways.
“You know, I always preferred our discussions, just us two, rather than me and Yeonjun,” Soobin admits. Taehyun hums, “Why’s that?”
“At the the time; you were always so rude and blunt about things. I always thought you had a big head on you. But no, you were just being honest, constructively critiquing me, I was an idiot to not see that back then. Only when I was going to leave, after you gave me some of your notes, encouraged me, I knew you were being harsh because you saw potential in me, you wanted to see me succeed alongside you,” Soobin’s eyes glimmer.
Taehyun clears his throat feeling flustered at the onslaught of praise and peers away, “Well, I thought that was obvious. But perhaps, it was a mistake on my part for coming off as so…harsh. I just found it frustrating to see you constantly demeaning yourself.”
Soobin nods slowly, “Despite that, I left,” he frowns, “I’m sorry for leaving you behind. I never expected Yeonjun to be so terrible. I thought you two would be fine.”
Taehyun mutters, “Well, you’re not a fortune teller. I didn’t stop you from leaving because I didn’t want to hold you back. It was clear, you weren’t enjoying the pressure of the Sorcerer’s Tower, being caught between the unspoken rivalry of me and Yeonjun. You did good, Soobin.”
Soobin’s expression softens and he murmurs, “If I had known you’d been exiled…I…I would have came to help, to visit.” Taehyun drawls, “You couldn’t have done anything, it’s fine.”
Soobin stands there solemnly, “For the first time in a long time, I feel like…you’re more in tune with your emotions, Taehyun.” Taehyun affirms, “I know. Years of being alone, isolated and surrounded by mysterious supernatural nature, does that to you. You have a lot of time to think.”
Soobin murmurs, “I’d imagine so. We’ve got to catch up more. You’ve got to describe the Woods of Mors to me. Teach me a few new spells too?”Taehyun muses, “Believe me, I could go all day. Just so happens I have my little spell book, too.”
A sense of calmness permeates through Taehyun; it had felt good to open up a little to someone; the one person from his past who saw him for who he was. Perhaps, this meeting of fate was not so bad.
Soobin’s brows furrow in deep thought, “Huh, I should probably stop writing to Yeonjun.” Taehyun scowls, “You write letters to him?” Soobin huffs, “In my defence, I didn’t know he did all that!” Taehyun scoffs, “Pitiful, you really are so sappy.” Soobin rolls his eyes, “Don’t worry, the letters stop.”
He hums, “I sent letters to you too, you know; addressed to the Sorcerer’s Tower. But after getting no response, I kind of assumed you wanted nothing to do with me. I didn’t know you were exiled of course.”
“Well, Yeonjun must have had a fun time tearing them up or throwing them into the fire,” Taehyun mutters unimpressed. Soobin snorts amused, “There goes my hard work recounting my wondrous progress in sorcery.”
The two men chuckle, feeling once more comfortable with each other, a sense of nostalgia permeates the air. “If you need any help around here, don’t hesitate to call on me, okay?” Soobin hums. Taehyun nonchalantly hums, making Soobin smirk, “Yes, yes sure. Whatever.”
The pleasant atmosphere is sliced into as they both spot you rushing down another hallway from afar without sparing them either a glance. Taehyun’s visage morphs into a serious expression; his heart instinctively palpitates. You seemed to be in a hurry?
Following a second later, Beomgyu walks in with a frustrated face. His eyes catch a glance of Soobin and Taehyun immediately switches into a pleasant smile, beginning to walk toward the two. Taehyun’s jaw tightens; he never cared particularly for the Prince. Then again, he never really cared for any royalty. Except you. Wait, he didn’t mean that, what was he saying? Focus!
“Gentlemen, well, is everything sorted? All caught up?” Beomgyu asks brightly. They both lower their heads respectfully as Soobin utters, “Your highness, but of course.”
Beomgyu’s eyes observes Taehyun intently, scanning him once over, “Soobin has told me a little about you, yet you still remain rather a mystery in my eyes.” Soobin gleams, “Don’t worry, your highness, I’ve got a lot more to say. He is incredibly talented.” Taehyun grimaces, peering at Soobin awkwardly, “Perhaps, let’s not do that.”
Beomgyu tilts his head musing, “Hm, y/n must trust you a lot for her to let you remain by her side. She’s always been a cautious individual.”
Taehyun murmurs, “I suppose. How long have you known her?” Beomgyu’s eyes twinkle, “Oh, for a long time, did you know we were once to be betrothed?” Soobin’s eyes light up, “Oh yes, I remember. You sent over quite the array of gifts and the largest bouquet I’ve ever seen, your highness.”
Taehyun stiffens; a surge of irritation courses through him. What made him feel this way? It obviously didn’t go through, but why did the mere idea make him feel so infuriated?
Beomgyu sighs, “A shame really, she was rather fond of me, unlike her father and the royal court.” Beomgyu’s gaze meets Taehyun as his lips form a coy smile, “We found ourselves catching up pleasantly.” Soobin grins, “Good to hear it, your highness! You both make an excellent pair.”
Taehyun snaps his head to Soobin. Soobin asks, “What?” Taehyun mutters, “Nothing, it’s nothing.” A heavy feeling grows in Taehyun’s heart. Why did y/n not say anything about this to him?
Then again, who was he to you? Who were you to him? You weren’t obligated to tell him anything, neither was he to you. So then why did this whole idea of her being alone with this prissy stuck-up prince irk Taehyun so badly?
At the end of the day, Taehyun was not royalty, not a noble whatsoever; so why was he feeling angered? Not like anything was going to occur.
Beomgyu hums; his tone condescending, “I find it fascinating, she chose to trust a complete stranger. Someone like you, with unknown intentions.”
Taehyun's gaze morphs into a glare. What was he trying to imply? Soobin’s smile fades slightly at the tone of voice, “Your highness?” Beomgyu hums amused, “Merely an observation. It was out of desperation of course, that she did so.”
Soobin’s shoulders relax as he asks, “So, what’s the plan, your highness? Was it what we discussed yesterday?” Beomgyu simply nods. Taehyun asks, “Is there anything I can do to help?”
Beomgyu’s eyes have an unrecognisable glint to them and he brushes off Taehyun's remark, “Oh yes; I’ll explain the plan to you in more detail later. I just remembered I have an important task to get back to, I’m already behind schedule. Soobin come with me, I have some other matters, regarding the funding to speak of.” Soobin hurriedly nods walking behind Beomgyu, “See you later Taehyun.” Taehyun doesn’t respond, feeling a surge of anger flood through him.
He mutters to himself, “Who the fuck does he think he is? Stupid fucking prince.” To think Soobin follows behind him like a pitiful puppy dog.
Taehyun’s mind flickers back to you. Oh yes! You’d ran off; his mind was already churning with suspense. Were you okay? He had stormed off earlier too; surely you weren’t upset at him for that, were you? Wait, why did he care what you thought?
His feet move themselves in the direction of the guest wing, in a reluctant search for you. Soon, he finds himself outside of your door and he knocks a few times. A muffled, “Leave me be,” resounds.
Taehyun scoffs, “Not happening. Open up, sweetheart.” He is surprised at your reluctance; surely you weren’t throwing some sort of tantrum were you? Did something happen between you and Beomgyu?
“Let me in, princess,” Taehyun demands; his heart rate increasing. A moment of silence ensues before he hears the soft click of the door opening; revealing you dressed in a new lovely gown befitting your status. Your face looked exhausted, your eyes were glazed over as if you were about to break down into tears. Your bottom lip trembles ever so slightly causing a pang to hit Taehyun’s heart. What the hell?
His harsh gaze softens and Taehyun asks, “Sweetheart?” A sniffle escapes your nose as you turn away walking into the room; he follows after you, closing the door behind him. You were on the very verge of crying. You felt trapped here, in this damn palace. A place you thought would be a safe haven.
You plop yourself down onto the luxuriously oversized rug on the floor where you’ve managed to pile several cushions around you to comfort yourself. Taehyun watches as you get comfortable; a concerned expression painting his features. He knew something was troubling you.
“What’s wrong? Did something happen between you and Beomgyu?” He asks; his tone coming out blunter than expected. You feel your eyes become wet and tears drip down your cheeks. How pathetic you were! Here you were crying; how miserable.
Taehyun huffs walking closer; unfastening his cloak clasp and throwing his cloak aside carelessly onto the bed before moving some of the cushions. You sniffle, “What are you doing?” “Sitting next to you, you pretty fool.”
You whine as he sits himself right next to you; his thigh brushing against yours as he readjusts the cushions back to their positions once he’s settled. He snarks, “There’s a king sized bed here, that you could sulk on, you know.” You hit one of the velvet cushions onto his arm making him scoff.
“You’re crying, why’s that?” He enquires with a tilt of his head; some locks of his hair fall across his piercing eyes. “It’s nothing,” you mutter. Taehyun remarks annoyed, “Tch, it’s certainly not nothing. Let’s skip over the pointless denial. Something’s clearly happened. Unless you don’t want to tell me, then I can just sit here or something. Perform a magic show or something to keep you entertained,” he grimaces.
You snort teary-eyed, “A magic show?” He rolls his eyes, “Yeah, well are you going to tell me or what? I don’t want you turning your mind into mush overthinking.” His finger tips glow ever so slightly.
“It’s just the pressure of getting my throne back. Just hurt feelings,” You murmur. Taehyun’s eyes sharply glint, “Lying to me is not going to get you anywhere, princess. Either you can choose to tell me the truth or you’re not obligated to tell me at all.” You flinch at his sharp tone.
More tears escape from your eyes and Taehyun watches you; a sense of awkwardness not knowing how to handle your tears properly.
He wanted you to open up more to him, but didn’t want to force you. He didn’t want you to bawl in front of him either. Taehyun mumbles, “This isn’t like you. It’s strange.” Taehyun knew you were upset; it had to be something to do with Beomgyu!
“It’s Beomgyu. You were upset after catching up with him. It’s obvious,” he utters. You find yourself flinching at his direct statement; he was observant. Taehyun takes note of your reaction confirming his suspicions. It was. What did that bastard do or say to you?
Taehyun’s jaw tightens and gaze sharpens, “What the fuck did he do?” You stammer, “No, no. Calm down.” Taehyun snaps, “What then?”
You take a moment to compose yourself, before beginning to slowly reiterate everything that had previously occurred between you and Beomgyu on your walk together.
Taehyun was the one person who you felt you could maybe trust now. Who knows maybe you were meant to play the fool and get played by everyone around you. You didn’t care, you just needed to vent; it felt good to tell him.
Finishing your recount, you peer at him and see his blank expression. His eyes hold no emotion and he stiffly sits meeting your eyes.
Abruptly, Taehyun goes to get up; an enraged look in his eyes, “That fucking manipulative piece of shit! That fucking bastard, just wait till I-“
Your eyes widen and you scramble forward grabbing his arm with your entire might, “Taehyun! Wait! This is a matter that needs t-to be handled delicately!” You grunt, pulling him back towards you.
“That fucking prince lulled you into a false sense of security, we’re stuck right in right in his trap,” Taehyun seethes. Your eyes widen; you hadn’t seen Taehyun so angry before. Infuriated, he exclaims, “How the fuck are you sitting so calm? All these disgusting royals only ever think of themselves. They don’t see you as a victim of genuine treachery, just a fucking chess piece to be used to further themselves!”
You flinch; he was right. Your eyes water, “I get it, I know okay! That’s just the way the world works!”
Taehyun peers down at you, at the way you cling to his arm, “I know what it feels like to be betrayed by someone you truly trusted. It fucking hurts to see it happen to you.” His sudden honesty touches you and your lips tremble, “T-Taehyun.”
“I don’t want you to give up, which is what I did. I accepted my exile. I wish I had died fighting,” he rasps out. His eyes hold intense pain and you tremble. Your fingers dig into his arm as you whimper, “Sit with me. Stay with me. Please don’t be reckless, Taehyun. Please.”
He regards you for a moment in silence. Taehyun asks coldly, “Are you going to agree with his plan to marry you? You’re going to marry yourself to that bastard? Tell me.” You remain silent; you were deep in thought before Taehyun arrived knocking at your door.
In all honesty, you were contemplating the notion. You had to tread carefully. Perhaps, you think, it was easier to sacrifice your own happiness instead of risking the downfall of Fortuna and its people through your foolish brother. Perhaps, choosing the lesser evil of both evils was better than choosing nothing at all.
You didn’t want the nations to erupt in unrest or potential threat of war or breach of the treaty. You were scared of stepping into the world of politics head first. All your actions had repercussions.
You pull him back to attempt to sit him down and he stumbles slightly into a crouch; his face a few inches from yours. He doesn’t move away as he snarks, “You’re contemplating it aren’t you? You’re an idiot. What about love? Why should you sacrifice your own happiness for this shit?”
Anger surges through you, “You don’t get it! You don’t understand the pressure of responsibility I feel, whatever step I take has consequences! You wouldn’t know what it’s like to be in my position! I cannot act recklessly just because I am angry!”
Taehyun bitterly muses, “You’re right I don’t get it. I’m just an exiled nobody, right?” You sigh frustrated, “I never said that. You’re so insensitive. Get over yourself, Taehyun.” A manic laugh escapes his lips, “Get over myself? No, you should get over yourself, sweetheart.”
A pang of hurt flashes in his eyes and he seethes, “I’m trying to fucking help you and you’re lashing out at me? Can’t you see I want to help?” He was lashing out at you! You cry out, emotions overwhelming any rationality within you, “Why? Why do you care so much? We barely know each other. If you find me so insufferable-“
Taehyun snaps, “So caring for you now is a mistake?” Your heart feels as though it’s going to tear into two. “No, I-“ you sigh. Perhaps you were wrong to get so defensive. He had no obligation to care about you, to even ask how you were. Taehyun wanted to stay with you to help. You compose yourself.
Shakily, you murmur, “I’m…I’m sorry, Taehyun. I didn’t mean any of that. I just…” Taehyun’s gaze melts for a second as he huffs sitting back down beside you, “Whatever.” A tensioned silence ensues. Guilt consumes you.
You never wished to argue with him. You drawl out fatigued, “Maybe consigning myself to fate is easier. Fighting back only causes more pain.”Taehyun snaps lowly, “Don’t say such stupid shit like that in front of me again.” You glare, “What am I supposed to do then?” Another round of silence occurs as Taehyun’s brain churns its gears.
After a minute or so, he murmurs, “Escape.” You ask confused, “What?” “The palace. Escape the palace. Go on the run?” Taehyun emphasises with a glare. You snap lowly, “Are you insane?” That was an absurd idea!
“We can’t stay here. We’re trapped otherwise. We have to be out of Beomgyu’s sight. We’ll figure it out; we just need to be out of here,” Taehyun takes both of your hands with a determined gaze. “To where?” You ask, peering down at his hands squeezing yours. Taehyun’s eyes shake as he thinks, “The Woods of Mors. Back to my abode. Remember no one in Fortuna knows you’re with me.”
That was indeed right; no one knew that you escaped through the tunnels and then made your way to Luna through the Woods of Mors, even more unlikely that you stumbled upon the exiled sorcerer. Why would they check a place where he was presumed dead?
You glare; your own brain working hard, “What about Beomgyu, genius?” Taehyun scoffs irritated, “Minor details. Yes, Beomgyu and Soobin know I was exiled to the woods. So what? You think they’d expect us to return to Fortuna?”
That’s right! Why would you go back to the place you were trying to be on the run from? The most likely would be they think you’d go to, was another nation or hide out somewhere in Luna.
Taehyun murmurs, “I know there’s no guarantee that they won’t check back in the Woods of Mors. But it’s our best bet; we can’t trust any other nations. If they somehow do find out, we’ll handle it. We’ll get out of it somehow, princess.” His voice is impassioned and you feel guilt; he had more determination and desire than you to win.
His fierce expression is oddly pretty in your eyes. The way he looks at you for a response; a touch of desperation in his eyes. Uneasy, you whimper, “I don’t know…that feels like a bad idea.”
“What choice do we have? Beomgyu betrayed you. You think he’ll just let us leave of our own free will, just because you say, no?” Taehyun scoffs, removing his hands. You huff crossing your arms, “I thought you’d be smarter than this.”
“Marry him then; not-not- that I care or anything,” Taehyun spits out with a huff. You grab another cushion smacking his shoulder making him grunt. His expression is infuriated; your eyes scan over his pretty features. Your heart becomes warm at the sight.
Taehyun peers over at you, meeting your gaze. “What?” You find your lips twitching to form a smile. “You’re really caring, you know that. Getting this angry on my behalf. Don’t deny it.”
A slight hue of embarrassment floods his features as he dismisses you, “What did you expect? I’m not an emotionless brute?”
You snicker, “Mm, I suppose.” The tension between you two eases. You murmur, “If…we succeed,” you notice he’s deep in thought. “If we succeed, I will overturn your exile.” Taehyun’s eyes widen and he mutters, “Don’t make false promises, princess.” You glare, “I mean it.” He snaps his head to gaze at you; your eyes lock onto each other. Taehyun’s eyes glimmer; he looks truly touched.
“So, you have a plan, right?” You ask, peering away solemnly. “Yes, I do. It’s risky. Very risky. Involves my magic and lot of preparation.” Your heart pounds anxiously. “Do you trust me? Trust me to get us out of this?” Taehyun asks seriously. Your gaze melts, “…I do.”
“I won’t betray you. That’d be the last thing I’d do. Because I know the pain of it. So rest easy, sweetheart,” Taehyun murmurs, still not removing his gaze from yours. Your heart feels heavy.
“I know,” you affirm softly. You bite your lip tearing your gaze away from his. Your heart palpitates rapidly; what was this breathless feeling? His eyes flicker down to your lips briefly.
“Sorry,” he mutters awkwardly, “For being so rude earlier.” You find yourself smiling.
You peer back over at him, your eyes drifting down his face and his torso. Your mind drifts back to the hug he gave you yesterday.
“Can I…Can I hug you?” You tentatively request. His eyes widen; a soft hue of red, blossoms of his cheeks ever so subtly. Clearing his throat; he outstretches an arm behind you, “Come here.” You spy his reluctant expression and can’t help but smirk to yourself. He was not so cold; but truly a man with a giant heart.
You nestle into his arms leaning your head against his chest. You’re surprised to hear his heart hammering in his chest. Was he anxious? He rests his other arm around you, muttering, “Take whatever time you need.”
Perhaps that was his way of saying, he didn’t want to let you go out of his arms. Or maybe you were just wishful in your thinking. After all, why would he be interested in you, a noble, a figure he despised?
An odd sense of comfort fills the both of you. You go to thank him for the hug but he seems fine just to hold you. His embrace felt warm; you felt safe. Taehyun peers down at you and notices you looking back up at him with your gorgeous eyes, clinging to him. The sight was incredibly endearing.
Hugs weren’t so bad, Taehyun surmises. He wasn’t much of a verbal comforter. A hug would do for now. For how long? However long you wanted.
You wonder what goes on his mysterious mind; did he have similar thoughts to your own? How you wished to dissect and unravel the many layers of Kang Taehyun. You note he had comforted you all today; he stuck beside you with no intention of any reward.
Yet, you never cared to ask about his past fearing the worst reaction but also focusing on your own predicament.
“You understand my position, being betrayed,” you state. He drawls, “I do, very well in fact.”
“If the Royal Court has unfairly convicted you, I want to fix it. If my family has wronged you, I want to know.” Your genuine words startle Taehyun.
“Taehyun,” you croak out, “I want to know what happened to you and your father.” Perhaps, it was unfair to ask, but you wanted to ease his bottled up emotions. If he could be there for you, you wanted to be there for him too.
“Sweetheart, you’re playing a dangerous game, here,” Taehyun warns with a frown. You whisper, “I know.” You knew you’d get a ‘no.’ He was a man with high walls and stern boundaries.
“Fine,” he utters shakily taking you by surprise. “I think…I’ve kept you waiting for long enough.” You stammer, “I’m not forcing you-“
Taehyun gives you the most gentle smile you’ve seen from him, “Relax, sweetheart. I feel ready.” He smirks softly, “Aren’t you curious?” He muses, “Consider my pitiful story, something to fall asleep to.” You scoff, “No way.” You part from him as he leans his back against the end board of the bed.
Shakily, he hums, “Oh, you’re in for a long ride.”
Oh, pretty sorcerer; what was your story?

Unexpected (kinda) pure thought: Aemma and sicklybrother!reader get to hang out cuz they’re both bedridden all the time and support each other through their shit health. I also love the idea of them talking shit about everybody at court together and nobody suspecting anything cuz they have such spotless reputations. Also Rhaenyra doing the same thing w Aemma in episode one where she’s like ‘all these people are fussing over your health, who’s fussing over you?’ and spends time with him chatting and laughing.
When Aemma/baby Baelon dies and they all have the funeral on those windy-ass hills Reader being like “I’ve lost my friend, my brother and king has to burn his wife and child today, my niece has lost her mother and the realm has lost their queen, I’m going to be out there if it fucking kills me,” even if he has to be carried he’s not skipping it.
Rhaenyra curling up in her uncles bed the way she did as a little girl for comfort when Daemon is exiled and Viserys is distant 😢.
When the ‘heir for a day’ thing happens he gently confronts Daemon ‘did you really say it? I don’t want to hear it from Otto, I want to hear it from you. I’m not angry, I just want you to be honest with me’ (according to BTS stuff they filmed the scene w Daemon saying it but he genuinely said it in a honouring kinda way, not mocking)
Reader biting his lip til it bleeds to stop from crying/expressing his own grief cuz he’s trying to be strong for everyone and providing genuine advice even though he’s so sad and stressed. Emotional support animal vibes. Which makes him easy for Alicent to swoop in and ‘save’.

When I tell you I fucking love this idea so much, I mean it! Aemma and Sickly!Younger!Brother!Reader being the bestest besties in all the realm is just too wholesome for my heart to handle. Also, I absolutely adore that scene of Rhaenyra visiting Aemma and her mother nudges her with her foot. No doubt that exact same action and the mention of ‘all these people fussing over your health, who’s fussing over you?’ would happen more often then not when regarding Rhaenyra, the Reader and Aemma together. I also totally can see Rhaenyra having heard that exact sentence be uttered by either her mother or her uncle directed towards the other which in turn is why she used it. It’s like their own little thing they say to each other that Rhaenyra no doubt picked up given how much time she spent around them together.
I have no doubt in my mind that Aemma would spend most of her time by Sickly!Reader’s side, both being tended to simultaneously. They both share their annoyance at being so fret over by everyone else and just wanting some peace away from the maesters and servants hovering over them. I love the idea of the two having their own little get away place just for the two of them, and maybe Rhaenyra. Just somewhere the two could get some peace and serenity without anyone breathing down their necks about their health. I especially love the thought of this secret place having been founded and used by Sickly!brother!Reader way before he shared it with Aemma. Daemon is probably the only other person who knows about this spot, mainly because he went to visit the Reader one late night and found his bedchambers completely empty and nearly had a heart attack because of it but eventually found his sibling safe and sound in said secret place.
I definitely see Aemma and Sickly!Brother!Reader not only being the best of friends but also being more akin to brother and sister (and not in the Targaryen way). So when Aemma dies he not only lost his best friend but a sister too and it only adds all the more to the hurt. And he sure as hell is going to be in attendance at her and his nephew’s funeral. He’s not going to let anything keep him from being there for his brother and niece. He’s not going to let anything stop him from being there to send off his beloved best friend, his sister and her child to the gods. I can’t help but imagine Daemon being the one to come across the Reader trying to make his way out of the castle to where the funeral pyre, having trouble due to his health but still stubbornly trying to get back to his feet to get to where he needs to be. The Reader thinks Daemon is just there to stop him and is already in the midst of shutting down any attempts to prevent him from going through with his endeavors, but instead he’s met with Daemon holding his arm out for him to lean on and help aid him while he tries to walk again.
The sight of the Reader making his feeble yet determined way in support of Viserys and Rhaenyra in their time of need is something they both had desperately hoped to have happen but never imagined it coming to be. Viserys would be incredibly appreciative and thankful that his youngest brother was there, a part of him had wanted to bring the Reader out himself but he didn’t want to compromise his health more than it already was and end up having another funeral because of it. But seeing his brother, having him there was something Viserys would never forget. Meanwhile, Rhaenyra is absolutely brimming with relief and gratitude upon her beloved uncle making his way to stand among her and her father in mourning.
After Aemma’s death, Sickly!brother!Reader wouldn’t do too well. His bedchambers alone was a bittersweet reminder of her constantly, every single day, given how much she spent her time by his side laughing, chainring, gossiping, and everything else. Even with the bustling maesters and servants or even Alicent’s presence isn’t enough to take away from the quiet he now felt surrounded him without Aemma there. If anything Alicent’s constant presence would only be yet another reminder of Aemma, the way she now sits by his side the way Aemma once did or how she tried to talk to him in a similar fashion that Aemma did. For a good while, Sickly!Brother!Reader would try and avoid his room as much as possible, slipping away whenever he had the strength too. Hell, even when he didn’t have it in him he would still try to get away from the one place that reminded him most of his late friend. Even Viserys wouldn’t be able to bring himself to visit his brother for awhile, not after the many times he’d come across both his most treasured loved ones keeping each other company throughout their ordeals in the same said room.
On the other hand, Rhaenyra would depend even more on her uncle after her mother and baby brother’s deaths. She finds his company being the most comforting, getting to be in a space where her mother often was too made Rhaenyra feel even closer to her all over again. Not only that but she was often reminded of the fond memories of her, her mother, and her beloved uncle all being together and laughing away even given the weakened state her uncle was especially in. Rhaenyra would be glued to the Reader’s side once Viserys pulls away and Daemon is exiled. Her Sickly!Uncle was always the one she could consistently depend on no matter what and even now he continued to be there for her when she needed someone most.
Alicent would be jealous of the attention and overall closeness of the Reader and Rhaenyra. She’s understanding that both are going through something grievous, everyone affected by Aemma’s death is but she still can’t help but envy Rhaenyra getting to be so close to the Reader all she wants. Getting the Reader’s undivided time and attention, his comfort and assurance, all of it. Alicent understands the loss of a mother, she lost her own some time ago after all and she desperately wished she had someone like the Reader back then to do the same for her as he was doing for Rhaenyra. Not only that but Alicent also wished, hoped, prayed for more than anything that she could be someone the Reader could lean on, someone who could give him comfort and reassurance. She wanted to be the one to hold him, to soothe away his pain and anguish, she wanted to be the one he could depend on. Meanwhile her farther was forcing her to be exactly that for Viserys instead. Now that doesn’t mean she wasn’t also using the same methods with the Reader as she was with Viserys, trying to get him to just give into her even just a little bit. But out of the two Viserys was much weaker to it then his youngest brother.
If Sickly!Brother!Reader ever found out that Aemma’s cause of death was mainly due to the caesarean section that Viserys had the maesters do to save baby Baelon he wouldn’t be able to look at his brother again. He understands his brother’s position in the moment but he can’t help but hold quite a lot of blame and resentment towards Viserys for the choice he made. Eventually the Reader could come to accept it but knowing that it was his brothers choice that killed Aemma would be a hard hit to the Reader.
Regarding the ‘heir for a day’ comment, the Reader definitely wants to hear it himself from Daemon and only Daemon. He isn’t going to take anyone else’s word for it. And as calm and gentle as the Reader is coming off in the moment, he’s really seething with an overwhelming intensity of emotion. Daemon better explain himself right and clearly to his younger brother otherwise he’s getting a well deserved punch to the face, one that takes everything out of the Reader and leads to him collapsing onto the floor resulting in Daemon rushing to his side. It’s only then that the Reader fully allows himself to finally let out all the emotions he’s been bottling up in favor of being the one everyone else can depend on. Breaking down, sobbing so aggressively that Daemon can’t help but look on worriedly as his brother crumbles. All he can do is hold his baby brother and comfort him as much as he can until he calms himself down enough to be placed back into his bed and down some much needed water.

Heyy, have you ever wrote about Lafayette and Napoleon's feelings/contact with each other?
'cause even knowing some stuff about them, i think that there might be more for it than I know
Thankss <3
Dear Anon,
the relationship between La Fayette and Napoléon was a very complex and layered one, but I will try to give you detailed summary.
The first link between La Fayette and Napoléon was in January of 1791 when a young Napoléon mentioned La Fayette in a letter to his friend Matteo Buttafoco. The letter and commentary on it can be found in this post here.
The next serious connection between these two man came when Napoléon defeated the Austrians and the Treaty of Campo Formio was signed, thus freeing La Fayette and his fellow prisoners from Olmütz. La Fayette, duly thankful to Napoléon, wrote the General a note of thanks. Again, the letter itself and commentary can be found in this post here.
La Fayette spend the next years in exile and he and Napoléon had next to no real connection at the time. This all changed when La Fayette, due to the brilliant work of Adrienne, returned to France during Napoléon’s Coup d’État in 1799.
His name and the names of many of his family members were still on the list of émigrés so legally they could not return to France. When La Fayette did so anyway, Napoléon was not amused. He was eventually consoled by Adrienne and Napoléon eventually restored La Fayette’s citizenship in March of 1800.
La Fayette was banned from attending the memorial service for the American General George Washington who died on December 14, 1799. George Washington had been a close friend, confident and father figure for La Fayette. Despite all this, La Fayette’s and Napoléon’s relationship still was rather friendly. They actually had a certain respect for each other as Generals but especially Napoléon was from the start quite wary around the Marquis. La Fayette had been vastly popular in France and still was. His popularity had greatly suffered during the second half of the French Revolution but his time in prison and the actions of his wife had partly helped to restore it. La Fayette had no political ambitions when he returned to France and his popularity was still tarnished but he nevertheless could have posed a threat to Napoléon if he really, really would have wanted that. The two of them met a few times at social functions and also exchanged letters but their relationship deteriorated more and more with time. They were similar in one aspect though, they both longed for glory – but their approach was different.
Napoléon hoped to gain La Fayette’s support for his government but La Fayette refused to serve in the Senate and to become the French ambassador to his beloved America, although both positions were suggested to him through different sources. La Fayette was also offered to be made a member of the Legion of Honour. He again refused. He had no interest of being overly entangled with Napoléon. Although not being outspoken in public La Fayette would not keep his opinions for himself if somebody asked him about his opinions. Actually, there was no need asking him about his opinions, La Fayette was one of the most well-known men in France, everybody even remotely interested in politics knew his stance. There is a passage from a conversation Napoléon and La Fayette had in the summer of 1802:
‘I [Napoléon] must tell you, General Lafayette, and I see with regret that, by your manner of expressing yourself on the acts of the government you give to its enemies the weight of your name.’ Lafayette replied, ‘What better can I do? I live in retirement in the country, I avoid occasions for speaking; but whenever anyone comes to ask me whether your regime conforms to my ideas of liberty, I shall answer that it does not; for, General, I certainly wish to be prudent, but I shall not be false.’
Bayard Tuckermann, Life of General Lafayette; with a critical estimate of his character and public acts, Vol. 2, Low, London, 1889, p. 158.
La Fayette did not trust Napoléon and did not wish to be part of his government. La Fayette voted against the consulship for life and this decision was at least from Napoléon’s point of view the final nail in the coffin of their relationship. La Fayette explained to Napoléon himself in a letter from May 20, 1802:
General – When a man who is deeply impressed with a sense of the gratitude he owes you, and who is too ardent a lover of glory to be wholly indifferent to yours, connects his suffrage with conditional restrictions, those restrictions not only secure him from suspicion, but prove amply that no one will more gladly than himself behold in you the chief magistrate for life, of a free and independent republic.
Life of Lafayette: Including an Account of the Memorable Revolution of the Memorable Revolution of the Three Days of 1830, Light & Horton, Boston, 1835, pp. 1.
But La Fayette was still somewhat out of Napoléon’s reach. But his son, who joined the military in 1800, and his son-in-law, Louis de Lasteyrie, were not. Although both of them and especially Georges, distinguished themselves in battles, they were not promoted. Whenever a promotion for one of them was up for debate, it never came to pass. La Fayette’s son and son-in-law therefor left the army in September of 1807 – there was just no point in serving any longer.
During the 100 Days, Napoléon’s brief return to power after his exile on St. Helena and prior to his exile on Elba, La Fayette became outspoken once again. He had been elected to the Chamber of Representatives (not to be confused with the Chamber of Deputies; both were the lower chambers of the French Parliament but the Chamber of Deputies was active during the Bourbon Restoration, the Chamber of Representatives was only active during The Hundred Days) in 1814. He had previously argued that too little people in France were eligible to vote the members of the Chamber of Deputies that such a political body could never represent France. Anyway, La Fayette was pretty silent as a Representative until June 21, 1815, after Napoléon’s defeat at Waterloo. The Chamber meet early that day to discuss the general state of affairs. La Fayette rose and proposed the following:
Representatives! For the first time during many years you hear a voice, which the old friends of liberty will yet recognize. I rise to address you concerning the dangers to which the country is exposed. The sinister reports which have been circulated during the last two days, are unhappily confirmed. This is the moment to rally round the national colours—the Tricoloured Standard of 1788—the standard of liberty, equality, and public order. It is you alone who can now protect the country from foreign attacks, and internal dissensions. It is you alone who can secure the independence and the honour of France.
Permit a veteran in the sacred cause of liberty, in all times a stranger to the spirit of faction, to submit to you some resolutions which appear to him to be demanded by a sense of the public danger, and by the love of our country. They are such as, I feel persuaded, you will see the necessity of adopting:
I. The Chamber of Deputies declares that the independence of the nation is menaced.
II. The Chamber declares its sittings permanent. Any attempt to dissolve it, shall be considered high treason. Whosoever shall render himself culpable of such an attempt shall be considered a traitor to his country, and immediately treated as such.
III. The Army of the Line, and the National Guards, who have fought, and still fight, for the liberty, the independence, and the territory of France, have merited well of the country.
IV. The Minister of the Interior is invited to assemble the principal officers of the Parisian national Guard, in order to consult on the means of providing it with arms, and of completing this corps of citizens, whose tried patriotism and zeal offer a sure guarantee for the liberty, prosperity, and tranquillity of the capital, and for the inviolability of the national representatives.
V. The Ministers of War, of Foreign Affairs, of Police, and of the Interior are invited to repair immediately to the sittings of the Chamber.
Bayard Tuckermann, Life of General Lafayette; with a critical estimate of his character and public acts, Vol. 2, Low, London, 1889, pp. 190-193.
The resolution was soon adopted with the exception of the fourth paragraph. Please note that the exact wording of La Fayette’s little speech differs a little bit from translation to translation, but the gist is always the same. La Fayette more or less openly called for the abdication of the Emperor Napoléon. When Napoléon’s brother urged the Chamber to reconsider La Fayette answered him that (again, different sources translate slightly different):
Who shall dare to accuse the French nation of inconstancy to the Emperor Napoleon? That nation has followed his bloody footsteps through the sands of Egypt and through the wastes of Russia; over fifty fields of battle; in disaster as faithfully as victory; and it is for having thus devotedly followed him that we now mourn the blood of three millions of Frenchmen.
Life of Lafayette: Including an Account of the Memorable Revolution of the Memorable Revolution of the Three Days of 1830, Light & Horton, Boston, 1835, p. 114.
Yes, la Fayette could give quite a speech - if he wanted to. Other the next days, Napoléon was urged to abdicate (June 22, 1815) with the threat that the Chamber would otherwise abdicate for him. The Chamber selected a committee of fife men to meet with delegates of the allied forces for the allies had promised peace negotiations, provided Napoléon was not longer in power. One of these fife men was La Fayette. There are not too many letters from La Fayette about these events that I can show you, but here is an excerpt from a letter to Thomas Jefferson from October 10, 1815:
In your Letters of Last year, anterior to the first Abdication of Bonaparte, you Had Expressed a due Sense of that Character who Having it in His Power to Be a Blessing did prefer to Become a Curse to Mankind. His despotism and His follies Had made the Restoration of the Bourbons, notwithstanding foreign invasion, a popular Event—They Returned the Compliment. Their prejudiced mismanagement, the more Glaring improprieties of Privilege-men Gave Napoleon the Opportunity to Reappear as a Representative of the Revolution. Whatever may Have Been a few Subaltern Intrigues, the Great, the Efficacious Conspiracy in His Behalf may Be attributed to the Counter Revl[uti]onary party.
in those transactions I took No part altho’ I would Have Readily assisted in Opposing Napoleon Had Not the patriotic System me[t] the Same objections which Had Ruined the Constitutional throne of 92.
We then Have Seen the Imperial destroyer of french Liberty Reassuming a Republican Language, Bowing to [na]tional Sovereignty, allowing a free press, and altho’ Vindictive or Arbitrary acts too often Betray’d old Habits, persuading many patriots to Rejoice at His Conversion—Not So did I—But While I Shunned personal Communication with Him, I declared that, if a free Representation was Convened, I would Stand a Candidate—we were, my Son and myself elected.
at the Same time a million of foreign invaders were, in Concert with Lewis the 18t and the elder Branch of His family, Led Against Bonaparte, was it Said, against what and whom the Event Has proved—the defense of national independance and territory Became, of Course, our principal object. it was my opinion that Unanimity and vigor Could Better Be Roused By a popular than By the Imperial Government—The Majority of the Assembly and Army depended more on the General Ship of Napoleon altho’ His whole troops did little Exceed two Hundred thousand. So we all joined on that Line of Resistance. No impediment was thrown, Every Assistance was Given. Never did our Heroïc Army fight Better than at waterloo. a Stubborn Mistake of Bonaparte Lost the day. He deserted His Soldiers, and Determined to dissolve our Assembly, usurp dictatorial powers, prefering the chances of Confusion and involving destruction to those of firmness and patriotism. That part of the impending Evils was timely prevented. it might Have Been the Case with the other part, altho’ Coming upon us in a Storm, Had Not the old diplomacy in poland, Napoleon’s policy in Spain, the Spirit of pilnitz in 91, and of the Last Congress at vienna Been far Surpassed By the present Coalition.
inclosed you will find a few pieces Relative to our Late House of Representatives. their declaration of the 5t July 1815 Congenial with the principles of 1789 are an additional proof that if the french people Have deplorably Erred in the means they Have Steadily persevered in the primary object of the Revolution.
“Lafayette to Thomas Jefferson, 10 October 1815,” Founders Online, National Archives, [Original source: The Papers of Thomas Jefferson, Retirement Series, vol. 9, September 1815 to April 1816, ed. J. Jefferson Looney. Princeton: Princeton University Press, 2012, pp. 67–69.] (05/22/2023)
After Napoléon’s abdication, the relationship between him and La Fayette effectively ended safe for one important letter that I would like to show you. La Fayette had himself been a prisoner of war for several years and he had suffered under the conditions imposed upon him. When there was talk that the British mistreated Napoléon on Saint Helena, La Fayette wrote a letter to the American Secretary of the Treasury William H. Crawford in 1819 – and as before, the letter can be found in this post here.
I hope this answer is helpful to you and I hope you have/had a wonderful day!

top 5 idolish7 scenes
top 5....... I can't narrow it down without spending at least 11 days going through everything so this is probably more gonna be the first five that I think of
(also vague parts 4-5 spoilers since I know some people aren't caught up yet, I'll note them down as they come up as well)
1: [part 5] (majority of re:vale scenes could go here but I'm limiting it to my absolute favourite) the beach scene. right after they finish writing kokoro harebare. it's just so. they're so fucking cute here I am going to throw up. re:vale exiled to a deserted island to have marital issues and they solve them with the power of being horrendously in love with each other and actually communicating for once in their fucking lives.... you win this round, re:vale. yukimomodivorce foiled again
2: first beat yamamitsu bench scene (the "I'd rather try as hard as I can, succeed as best I can and be as happy as I can" one). I love mitsuki so so much yyou have no idea
3: nagi wants me fucking dead in third beat and part 4 but I'm gonna have to go with the skit concept ("it's not funny. no, wait. I'm laughing.") just because that hit me so hard the first time I saw it. got home and watched that episode the day it came out (pre-hyperfixation) and was just completely floored. I had to rewatch it like 5 times (also honourable mention to the tower scene cause I really love yamato's "you're right here, buddy")
4: [part 4] zool interview scene. all of zool part 4 wants me dead also but yeah. that one is so ououhhgg haruka especially is great here. just steals the camera halfway through the interview. there are other haruka moments I would put here as well but I don't wanna go too far down that rabbit hole right now he will make me cry
5: past yuki "I kill myself writing these songs" I hate him I hate him I hate him. yuki depression/re:member ghost analysis post is coming one of these days...... one of them
also I didn't count any side content here but last honourable mention goes to the fuckign. yuki xmas magic rabbichat. "what I'm saying is that I feel the weight of love. love is ambiguous however. the whole time I lived with momo it was the first time I thought believing in it might be fine. I'm really scared to lose momo. maybe this is love" (tells tsumugi he'll send nude onsen pics of momo to her literally immediately after this. Worst yuki rabbichat featuring Worst yuki moments please read it)

Pls can we hear more about amun-shae and mordrin hanin the mehrunes dagon cultist ruining sotha sil's life? I always thought it was tragic we don't hear more about Almalexia's mother and her mortal upbringing considering she's literally a queen and part of a great goose like surely there'd be more historical records about her family and stuff
a great goose... amun-shae the poultry queen
amun-shae's a bit of a funny character for me because so much of her life is defined by the nordic occupation-- she was the ruler during the invasion, and "murdered" (allegedly) during the latter period of the occupation. so when someone goes 'tell me about amun-shae' my impulse is to start rattling off a list of major tragedies she lived through. husband killed by mem-yet chemua during the invasion, lived most her life as a puppet queen to the nords, was forced to flee mournhold during a reactionary backlash following the murder of a nord, accidentally had a bastard daughter to the man sheltering her during exile. died ignominiously of mysterious causes. but i feel like this also kinda does a disservice to her, so!
amun-shae was a prolific traveler in her youth-- she was the only daughter of the queen and heir to the throne, but back in those days it was a chimeri noble tradition to go cause trouble in mournhold as a youth, so she got to meet all the youngest and most bored nobles in the land and they went on a lot of stupid trips. she was good friends with both kronin ra'athim and thalthil dres and even had some encounters with mordrin hanin when hanin was likewise a young troublemaker.
during her adventures she fell in love with the son of the matriarch of one of the indoril clans, who were at that time busy schisming from the mournhold royal lineage to become Great House Indoril due to a massive fallout between amun-shae's incompetent mother and the overly ambitious aforementioned indoril matriarch. her and lexival aran's romance became a convenient way to reunite the new House Indoril and the disgraced mournim line, so amun-shae returned to mournhold and married lexival, then accepted her mother's abdication and assumed the throne herself.
as a person she was very serious, but definitely not without a humorous side-- strangers tended to be intimidated by her until they realised she had a very deadpan sense of humour, after which they'd find her hilarious. she also had a deathly serious sense of duty, which almalexia inherited-- she was very focused about doing "what's right for people" and saw virtue in sacrifice, to the point of having a bit of a martyr complex, if martyrs never received the relief of a glorious death and instead were forced to endure a horrible reality for centuries
the invasion and occupation changed her however. as i mentioned, lexival was murdered (gruesomely, publicly and spectacularly) by mem-yet chemua, and this prompted amun-shae to surrender mournhold in exchange for retaining her throne. living under occupation made her deeply paranoid and suspicious, which are also traits almalexia had drilled into her from early childhood. she remained a very good leader with a maniacal sense of duty to her city, and spent most of her rule playing the looooong game of earning the nords' trust to set up mournhold as a potential base from which a rebellion could eventually launch. so, nerevar has a lot to thank amun-shae for.
to finish off about almalexia's childhood and why we don't know anything about her backstory... i used to hate that (still do) but i've come to begrudgingly accept that annihilating any trace of her mortal existence is very in character for almalexia. almalexia despises the fact that she was ever mortal, it makes sense to me that she'd eradicate any evidence that she was once a little girl in a big castle with a haunted mother and a lot of scary men who wanted to hurt her. that is the last thing she wants anyone to know.
not that she didn't honour her mother in her own way. she's still a chimer, after all.
i feel like this is way too long to also get into mordrin fucking hanin (he is his own essay unfortunately) but. hey. there's way more amun-shae lore than you probably wanted. i've covered like 40% of her life. enjoy

A personal favourite Krishnaleela!🦚
In honour of Bhadra pournima🌕
One night as mother Yashoda was putting Krishna to bed he said
"Maa, I'm not sleepy yet, tell me a story"
Mother Yashoda smiled and began as Krishna closed his eyes and layed on her lap,
"long ago in the far away kingdom of Ayodhya was a prince named Ram..."
"mmm" Krishna said,
"....he had a wife named Sita.."
"mmm"
"...he was exiled to the forest for 14 years because of his bad step mother..."
"mmm"
"...he built a nice little Hut in the forest..."
"mmm"
"...one day while Ram was away the demon king Ravana.."
"LAKSHMANA GET MY BOW AT ONCE !" Krishna suddenly shouted scaring Yashoda,
He looked around for a moment confused and said
" maa, I'll go to sleep on my own, you go and sleep too" and promptly fell asleep on his bed leaving mother Yashoda confused, when did she mention Lord Ram had a brother?
That's the end, hope everyone has a blessed day

So since you wanted some ianthony song recs... And I am also currently working on creating a playlist for them. I figured you wouldn't mind if I ramble about some of my favourite choices so far! :D
For now the playlist is still pretty TS heavy , since I went through her albums first to look for songs. So here are some of my top choices (aside from midnight rain) for them there:
- forever winter
"he spends most of his nights wishing it was how it used to be" "all this time I didn't know you were breaking down. I'd fall to pieces on the floor, if you weren't around"
- 'tis the damn season
"if I wanted to know who you were hanging with while I was gone I would have asked you" "so we could call it even [...] I'm staying at my parent's house and the road not taken looks real good now" "and I always leads to you, in my hometown" "so I'll go back to LA [...] And wonder about the only soul who can tell which smiles I'm fakin'"
- and then of course the corresponding "Dorothea"
- closure (this song hits even more since we know about the letter that Anthony wrote)
(tho I'm glad that the song doesn't actually apply to them irl anymore; it just feels like Smth for the in between phase)
- both happiness and evermore also fit pretty well for that time
Especially with "sorry, I can't see facts through all of my fury. You haven't met the new me yet" "now I get fake niceties. No one teaches you what to do when a good man hurts you and you know you hurt him too"
And
"motion capture put me in a bad light" "writing letters addressed to the fire" "I rewind the tape but all it does is pause on the very moment all was lost"
- also "right where you left me" for Ian Vs "it's time to go" for anthony
- I almost do
Literally the whole song fits so well here idk what else to say (works from both perspectives imo)
- Breathe
"Cause none of us thought that it was gonna end this way. Ppl are ppl and sometimes we change our minds. But it's killing me to see you go after all this time" "you're the only thing I know like the back of my hand" "It's 2:00 am feeling like I just lost a friend. Hope you know it's not easy for me"
- That's when
Just really reminds me of that time when they were still apart and when asked if there are any plans of Anthony coming back one day or Smth like that and said Smth along the lines of "the door is always open"
- the story of us
Again, literally the whole song istg
But especially "now I'm standing alone in a crowded room and we're not speaking. And I'm dying to know: is it killing you like it's killing me?"
- from folkore I think both "the 1" and "exile" fit pretty well
Especially "and it took you 5 whole minutes to pack us up and leave me with it" and the whole bridge with "you didn't even here me out. You never gave a warning sign/I gave so many signs"
- also "this is me trying"
With "I didn't know if you care if I came back. I have a lot of regrets about that." "But I'm here in your doorway. I just wanted you to know, that this is me trying" (Anthony)
"and it's hard to be at a party when I feel like an open wound. It's hard to be anywhere these days when all I want is you. You're a flashback in a film real on the one screen in my town"
- you're loosing me (right before the Anthony left smosh)
"do I throw out everything we built or keep it?" "my face was gray but you wouldn't admit that we were sick"
- New Year's Day (hurts during the "break-up" era, but also feels very healing atm tbh)
"don't read the last page. But I stay when it's hard, or it's wrong, or we're making mistakes"
"hold on to the memories, they will hold on to you"
"Please don't ever become a stranger, whose laugh I could recognize anywhere"
Honourable mentions:
- I wish you would
- you are in love
- long live
- the very first night
- hits different
Sorry this was way longer than intended lmao.
And mostly angsty
Hope you enjoy some of them tho! :D

SIT TIGHT IM BACK WITH BRAINROT PT.2 HOHOHO
ok ok the moments shared between mingi and bug during his night patrols are sO sweet they literally give me sugar spikes. when bug is hesitant to join him at first and all he does is smile and nod her in the direction of where he likes to nap. and then bug keeps seeking out his quiet but steady presence and eventually finds so much comfort in him that she also falls asleep. mingi is bootiful he's such a sweet gentle giant silently watching over ateez and bug. literally everything about their interaction makes me soft - yeo noticing and telling san that bug is ok bc she's with mingi, mingi hushing san when he walks out bc bug is sleeping, mingi going 'oh' when he realises just how significant it is that bug sleeps around him. bc this reminds me of mingi irl when his members or fans are telling him how precious he is and that he deserves everything and he's always so bashful and literally like oh! really? pls mingi is to be protected from everything
also im trying my hardest not to smile bc im at work LOL but when woo helps bug readjust her armour with the gentlest demeanour i just 🥺🫶 bc i like to think that in a parallel non-au, as prickly as woo is at the start, woo becomes the one who steps forward from behind bug to reach for that jar on the top shelf she can't quite get, he's the one to zip up her jacket and tuck a scarf a little tighter around her to keep her warm, he's the one to walk on the side of the street closer to the cars to keep her safe. woo's actions speak so much louder than his words pls i have so many feels and i haven't reached the chapter where he saves bug from the warg
this is also pulling bits from ltm out of chronological order but re-reading makes me appreciate again how much i love the use of matches and fire as a running marker that notates bug's growth and the milestones that she reaches. for eg there's bug's episode when hwa hums to break through the haze in her mind + bug following yun's voice and touch to resurface from her memories (bug tapping yunho? makes me impossibly soft). there's all eight members of ateez slowly joining the relay of lighting matches to extinguish the darkness in bug's mind. we have yun & bug finally confronting the elephant about his exile at the campfire. then there's bug slowly feeling comfortable enough to join the rest of the boys around the fire. also honourable mention to HWA ????? the way he made sure everyone was always facing the fire but also leaving a space for bug to give her full autonomy to join them should she wish. then later we have bug experiencing her first celebration with ateez and finally experiencing the innocent joys in life like music and dancing. and yeo is me i am yeo when bug SMILES AND RESTS HER SIDE ON HIS LEG
uGh the confrontation btwn the scouting group and the village soldiers got me weak-kneed (im not even going to start on san getting injured bc bestie we'd be here till midnight 💅 or the arvo ig idk time differences be real) ANYWAYS the boys all getting so angry and using their heights and positioning to protect bug Y E S bc we love this duality when normally we see them being the sweetest beans with bug <33
SAN.
'You may have cost Wooyoung his Yunho'. on today's episode of mythbusters: humans are in fact NOT 60% water bc yknow what moonie, i am only 2% water after all the tears that were shed.
CH 13-14 YESSSSS ALSO SOME OF MY FAVOURITES i think 13 was the update that made me discover ltm !!! woo has THE most goated entrance no one can convince me otherwise. from his battle cry to his primal snarls to his protective stance in front of bug *chef's kiss* 🤌🤌🤌 all he needs is his superhero suit. do you see this running theme that my brain automatically goes googly-eyed at moonie. PROTECTIVENESS IM TELLING YOU. and it's the fact that it's woo of all people saving bug. bc i also have this huge thing for emotionally-distant characters having their lightbulb moments and being like hang on i actually like this person i want to take care of them forever.
asdlkfgjkd woo saying 'let's go home' and carrying bug against his chest 💨✨✨ poof that's me disappearing into fairy dust. i swear i had the exact same breakdown about yun carrying bug like his lil baby in my last ask HAHA MY BRAINROT DOES NOT CHANGE 🧠 when you are retired i need a hundred-page thesis studying the differences between yun's hugs and woo's hugs bc the start of ch14 was not enough to satiate my feels. and it would be best if it also included data on the other 6 members of ateez. for research purposes of course
i feel so limbless reading ch14 bc bug resting against woo whilst communicating with her fingers is so impossibly sweet and cute. and then when she hears yun's voice and literally starts wRIGGLING against woo like omg im also wriggling in my seat because i can feel her joy so clearly !!!!!! her tired but happy little taps IM SCREAMING. reminds me of falling asleep in the car as a kid and waking up after feeling that turn just as you reach home. kid is bug, car is woo and home is ateez AMEN <3333333 🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏
can i have a yunho wooyoung sandwich hug too pls. + A YUNHO FOREHEAD KISS 👩‍🦲MY HEAD IS NOW SHAVED FOR INFINITE FOREHEAD SPACE. peep forehead kisses from me to you bc ily <3 thanks for reading through my combined 1.7k ltm brainrot
ONCE MORE I LOVE YOU SO SO MUCH THANK YOU FOR SUCH AMAZING COMMENTARY <33 I am kissing you on the forehead fr omfg <33
mingi was so careful during their first interactions and bug appreciated it SO much :") he became part of her safe space and he didn't even know it until san said something <3 also the way that yeosang already knew because he keeps such a good eye on bug and his partners?? had my heart beating fast fr xD
and OMG it absolutely does remind me of mingi irl <33 he's so precious when he realizes how much we love him :'D
WOOYOUNG <33 he was so gentle readjusting her armor and he so is the guy who does all those little things for those he loves omg my HEART <3 he definitely would be the kind of man who would gently redirect bug to the inside of the street so he could walk closer to the cars and he DEF makes sure she's wearing enough layers and readjusts them so carefully around her so she's warm enough AGH I'M EMOTIONAL,,,
hehe also the mention of fire is definitely one of my bigger metaphors!! in the published edition the title will have to do with fire as well >:D so many their important moments together have been around flame and so much of bug's healing eludes to the matches drowning out the darkness in her soul so it DEF is an important part of this story :D
also yes absolutely an honorable mention to hwa for that sweet action,, he definitely knew bug would approach them on her own, they just had to give her the space she needed to make the decision herself <3 and YEOSANG <33 one day he'd like to teach her to dance (that line is VERY important ;) )
hehe and I totally get the time difference thing xD it seems most of my followers are in different time zones haha xD
them protecting bug (and yun too <3 ) during that scene was so sweet,, they were not going to take ANY slander of them >:)
honestly one of my FAVORITE lines I've ever written was that one: 'you may have cost wooyoung his yunho' was so raw and only hits so hard when you understand the context behind it :") It was so angsty and I honestly only added it as an afterthought during editing but I LOVE it SO much
woo swinging in to save bug at the perfect moment and being SO protective had me blushing and kicking my feet -- I LOVE the protectiveness in writing xD and this was indeed one of woo's lightbulb moments hehe, he realized that he would be DEVASTATED if anything happened to her and so would the rest of ateez :')
AHAHA I will definitely have to get started on that thesis early then xD there is so much more data to collect in order to get an unbiased sample tho ;)) perhaps there will have to be more scenes of it in order to get a good poll >:D
OMG the relation to recognizing 'that' turn in the car ride home and waking up cause you know you're home to Yunho's voice alerting bug that she's home OH MY GOD THAT'S SO CUTE
hi yes I would also like a yunwoo sandwich as well!!! I have a sum total of like 11 dollars and I would risk it all for a forehead kiss from both xD
also peep forehead kisses from me to YOU hehe <33 this was honestly one of the sweetest messages I've ever gotten thank you SO much my dear <33 I will always always adore anything and everything you send so thank you so much again
drink lots of water and take care lovely <3

"That's how it should be. Soft socialists paving the way for the *hard* working class to take over."
RENÉ ARNOUX- "Preposterous! Surely you don't mean it." He frowns. "I'm just sorry it had to be them. After eight years of fighting those commie hyenas, boiling cats for food and drinking my piss in the mountains..."
"I *would* have preferred if the right honourable King Guillaume returned to Revachol or even if that damn clown, Frissel, had risen from the grave and led us. Sadly that was not the case."
EMPATHY [Medium: Success] - This *Royal* failure weighs heavily on him.
RENÉ ARNOUX- "Instead, all that is just, holy, and beautiful in the world was wiped away and now it's neon signs with toothpaste ads everywhere. Foreign influence peddling garbage and stupid music on the radio." He sighs.
"This is just what the commies wanted. This was their plan all along. This is what they wanted to replace the rule of the Suzerain with."
"Who was this Frissel?"
"You mentioned Guillaume?"
"Hmm... what exactly is a *suzerain*?" (Conclude.)
RENÉ ARNOUX- "Damn Frissel -- he was the king we couldn't protect. The carabineers failed him... and the crown." The old veteran falls silent and massages his chest. "He died in the hands of the *hoi polloi* in a very public execution."
2. "You mentioned Guillaume?"
RENÉ ARNOUX- "A true King in both blood and mind. Led Revachol before Frissel. He would have been better, but the damn commies drove him into exile."
DRAMA [Medium: Success] - Some manner of self-deceit is present in his thinking. Sounds like this Guillaume abandoned him and he doesn't want to admit it.
3. "Hmm... what exactly is a *suzerain*?" (Conclude.)
RENÉ ARNOUX- "The Suzerain is the King. Has everyone forgotten already?" He then slowly nods and says to himself: "They've forgotten already."
EMPATHY [Medium: Success] - Soon they will forget everything. Him too… Then he chooses anger over melancholy.
RENÉ ARNOUX- "It's no use talking to you. You were still in daddy's balls when it happened. When *we* took our last stand against the filth and rode the cavalry straight into gunfire."

3. What is it about this old soldier that makes him stand so proud?
Tumblr media
COMPOSURE [Legendary: Failure] - All you observe is a veteran refusing to let go of the past and his old uniform. This is not uncommon.
RENÉ ARNOUX - He catches your glance and nods. "This is the uniform of the Royal Carabineers in service of Frissel the First, Guillaume *Le Lion*, and the valiant King Filippe the Fifth before him."
GASTON MARTIN - "Don't you mean Frissel the Fun?"
RENÉ ARNOUX - "*You* do not speak his name, craven! Although he was a clown…" he adds. He turns back to you. "But he was *our* clown. Ours to ridicule -- and to mourn."
COMPOSURE - There's something you missed... You will get to it, don't worry.
4. "Thank you for your time!" [Leave.]
Tumblr media
"Not bad, Rene, you might stand a chance this time."
The spirited chirps and clicks of swallows fills the air.

Tyre track leading onto the roof. The slush and rain has almost washed them off.
Onto the... roof?
Well, we should probably also talk to Gaston.
Tumblr media
GASTON MARTIN - "I have really outdone myself..." He takes a bite out of his sandwich. "This is divine."
RENÉ ARNOUX - "Yes, that's what you need, Gaston. More padding on that fat ass of yours. I hope your heart gives out."
GASTON MARTIN - "René, tsk-tsk. It's the little pleasures. Life doesn't need to be a.... *mnjam mnjam*... a struggle."
"Hello, officer." He turns to you. "How might I be of assistance on this fine day?"
"Tell me, what do you know about the dead man?"
"Looks delicious." (Point to the sandwich.) "Can I have a bite of that?"
"Bye for now." [Leave.]
GASTON MARTIN - "Let me think…" He looks at the clouds, wistfully. "I heard someone was hanged and left on a tree for a week, but that's all I know really."
"C'mon, you must have heard something..."
"Really? You know *absolutely* nothing?"
"Shame. Maybe you can help me with something else then."
GASTON MARTIN - "No, officers, I'm sorry. And I really *would* like to assist," he adds, smiling apologetically. "You are both good guys. I can see that."
RENÉ ARNOUX - "Then help him, you wimp." Reproach fills his eyes. "You rub plenty of shoulder with the *gauche caviar* in the Union. *Someone* must know something."
GASTON MARTIN - "I wish I could, but I just don't know anything." His cheeks turn red. "I always keep my nose clean and don't gossip. Everyone knows and respects that."
DRAMA [Medium: Success]- Odd... He doesn't seem to be lying, but there's something off here.
"Sounds a bit like you're holding back."
"All right then. Change of topic."
GASTON MARTIN - "I'm *not*," he assures you. "I'm not even anyo---"
RENÉ ARNOUX - "Of course he's holding back." The carabineer crosses his arms. "His mouth is so full of Union prick he can't even speak properly."
GASTON MARTIN - "Can I at least finish my fucking sentence before you piss on it? Is that okay, René?" His eyes are furious. "I'm not anyone important in the Union. I just know Evrart."
"And who is this *Evrart* you know?"
"Are you a Union member?"
"Can you help me get inside the harbour?"
"Thanks, that's all for now." (Conclude.)
GASTON MARTIN - "Evrart *Claire*. Everyone in Martinaise knows the Claire brothers," he says solemnly. "I taught these boys human studies and history in the gymnasium."
RENÉ ARNOUX - "What do *you* know about history?" The carabineer snaps at Gaston. "You never witnessed history. Only heard about it -- years later -- when it had already moved on. You don't know history."
The old soldier mumbles something under his breath and turns to face the sea.
KIM KITSURAGI - "Let's try not to get caught in the..." The lieutenant lowers his voice: "Crossfire."
ESPRIT DE CORPS [Medium: Success] - Lest we leave riddled with bullet holes. This animosity is ancient.
2. "Are you a Union member?"
GASTON MARTIN - "Oh..." His cheeks turn red again. "In many ways, yes. Like an honorary member. I attend meetings and parties. Help with little things. Evrart, Edgar, and the older *Débardeurs* all know me."
"'In many ways?'"
"So you're not an actual member?"
GASTON MARTIN - "Oh yes."
"So you're not an actual member?"
GASTON MARTIN - "Not in the technical sense..." His eyes fix on the boules in the crater. "I don't have a vote or a membership card. But Evrart keeps me on the payroll. Just for the little things."
DRAMA - So that's what it was, before! Him hiding something. He tries to make it look like he's a big deal in the Union and now the illusion is disintegrating before your -- and René's -- eyes.

RENÉ ARNOUX - "Of course he's not a member! He's not a member of anything. I knew that." He frowns. "He's a weathervane -- turns to where the wind blows and tries to look important."
"I hate the socialist rabble," he continues, "but even siding with them is better than living your entire life on the fence, never committing to anything. Pick a damn side already!"
3. "What are the 'little things' you do for Evrart?"
GASTON MARTIN - "Writing work mostly," he smiles. "Occasionally he needs something written and I happen to have a way with words, people say."
"What kind of things do you write for him?"
GASTON MARTIN - "Oh, nothing official, I assure you. Just essays for the newspapers. About Martinaise and how things are and how they *could* be. Evrart and I have these long talks where..."
RENÉ ARNOUX - "Where he tells his little *penman* exactly what to say! It's commie propaganda, plain and simple. You should be ashamed of yourself."
4. "Thanks, that's all for now." (Conclude.)
Finding out Gaston's not a Union member means that we know there's no chance he can get us into the harbour, I guess.
GASTON MARTIN - "Thank you officer," he nods, smiling wide. "For being a consummate professional. You'll have this case wrapped up in no time."
2. "Looks delicious." (Point to the sandwich.) "Can I have a bite of that?"
GASTON MARTIN - "I'm sorry, officer, but I really don't share food," he says and quickly adds: "Nothing personal, it's just a principle."
RENÉ ARNOUX - "The only one you have."

are there any characters of yours that you've been thinking about a lot recently? i know you mentioned drawing leonidas recently and i always love hearing about that little weirdo. whats their deal (i never know where to start talking about ocs either ;_;)
Thank u for the ask ^.^ Leonidas I think of often because I made him to be very self indulgent For Me specifically (ie: lesbian failprince). here's the doodle I made of him recently after my friend misremembered me sending a drawing of him (I want to colour it at some point)
Tumblr media
You know that genre of anime character thats like, a prince or otherwise wealthy guy who's always covered in sparkles and roses except he's a comic relief character and everything thinks he's a huge weirdo. Leonidas is based on that trope because I enjoy it when the elegant royal characters are huge losers <3 Leonidas does everything in his power to try and come off as genuine royalty, but he's very obviously a fake prince. Interestingly though, the sword he carries around with him is a genuine article, an ancient weapon that was well-preserved </3 no one knows how he got it (I know how he got it but its a secret >:) ) he's very much obsessed with princehood and heroism and tells many stories of himself doing all kinds of heroic deeds, like slaying legendary beasts or finding items that once belonged to the gods. And he's a Very good storyteller!! There is love and passion in the tales he tells. But it's also very, very, very obvious he's kind of making things up. Things don't add up in his stories, though he would never acknowledge that openly.... Other than Leonidas I've been thinking about Tezeu and Azusa
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tezeu (blonde) is a genuine prince, but he was born from an affair in a distant land and thus never a part of a the royal family. Azusa (bull-masked) is also a genuine prince but he was feared due to a birthmark on his face which resembles the birthmark of an evil ancient priest named Mammon and was later exiled under suspicions of murder (of which he didn't commit </3 ) They're dealing with the fact that they're both of royal blood but not truly "princes" in very different ways... Tezeu wants honour and glory and to be worshipped and to be a king (even though he definetly doesn't know how to), and would do almost anything to achieve that because he's obsessed with the idea of leaving a legacy of some kind. Azusa on the other hand has just been chilling, life for him is actually much calmer and kinder now that he's been exiled, and while he does miss some things he had before he's not so terribly bothered by it... Though Azusa and Tezeu are very close friends (homoerotic), this is something they have difficulty understanding one another on. (PS If you ever wanna just talk about ur OCs you are more than welcome to talk to me about them, I love to hear about other people's creations)

Where is Ravana’s Lanka actually located?
youtube
The historicity of Lord Rama is often questioned on the grounds that there is no archaeological evidence to support that he ever lived or attacked Lanka. It is indeed true that the earliest archaeological evidence of potsherds from Sri Lanka is from around 5th century BCE from Anuradhapura.[i] The time of Lord Rama is considered to be around 2000 BCE.[ii] Therefore, there was no habitation in Sri Lanka at the time when Lord Rama lived let alone evidences of palaces and bridges that are described in the Valmiki Ramayana. Therefore, we have to relocate Lanka to a place where we get archaeological evidence; or we have to accept that Rama was not a historical figure.
What is the connection between Mandore and Ravana?
I was once visiting Mandore near Jodhpur. Ravana’s wife Mandodari is supposed to be the daughter of the king of Mandore. That is how she got her name Madodari. There is a Ravana Chaura here which is said to have been built in the honour of Ravana when he had come to wed Mandodari. Folk tellers from the area said that Ravana had come from Kutch to wed Mandodari.[i] That set me thinking about the location of Lanka somewhere in the Rann of Kutch.
In which direction did Ravana take Sita?
Rama had spent part of his exile at Panchvati near Nashik. Ravana had come to this place and kidnapped Sita and taken her to Lanka. When Rama came to know that Sita had been kidnapped, he asked to deer: in which direction Ravana took Sita? The Valmiki Ramayana says that the deer pointed to the sky and ran keeping their heads in the southern direction.[i] This gives two contradictory signals. If we take the direction of the sky to be important then the deer did not tell off any direction but if we take the keeping their head in the southern direction to be important then it means that Ravana took Sita in that direction. Both possibilities are indicated here and it cannot be said that Ravana took Sita to the south with certainty.

Where is the Pampa river mentioned in the Ramayana?
Next, the Valmiki Ramayana says that Rama crossed the Pampa by wading into it. Whether Pampa was a reservoir or a river is not clearly indicated because the word used for Pampa is “pushkarini” which can mean either of the two things.[i] North of Nasik there is a place called Pampa Reservoir. It is deep and it is not possible to wade into it. There is a river named Poorna that falls into this reservoir. It is possible at that time the Poorna was known as Pampa and Rama may have waded into the Poorna to cross it as told in the Valmiki Ramayana.
Was Pushpak Vimana actually a ship?
The second instance of the southern direction comes when Rama moves on searching for Sita. He went to Janasthan where he met with Jatayu who told him that Ravana had taken Sita in the southern direction. Now, it seems that Ravana was a seafarer. The description of Pushpak vehicle with large rooms and flags suggests this was a waterborne ship.[i] So, Ravana must have come to Janasthan on the ship. River Godavari that flows south of Nashik flows to the east and there is no possibility that Ravana came here on a ship on this river. The river flowing to the north of Nashik is the Tapti. There is a place named Kamrej on its banks where an ancient port has been discovered.[ii] Ravana appears to have come upstream of the Tapti to Kamrej and then may have taken the land route to Nashik to kidnap Sita.
Now, if this was the case, then Ravana would have followed the south-westward flow of the Tapti to get into the Arabian Sea from Kamrej. This south-western travel of Ravana may have been told by Jatayu to Rama as Ravana having taken Sita in the southern direction.
Where is Kishkindha of Ramayana located?
Not finding Sita at Janasthan, Rama travelled northward with Sugriva to Kishkindha. Here there is a place called Maniknath caves in District Danta. Local people say that this cave was inhabited by demons until Sage Maniknath drove them away.[i] The connection of demons with the place is thus established. These demons may have been the people of Sugriva who is also considered to have been a demon. Importantly, local people believe that Rama had come to Danta before having started the conquest of Lanka.
Hanuman’s journey: Towards south or north-west?
Now the second mention of the southward direction is found in the travels of Hanumana. Rama had sent Hanumana to find Sita. The Valmiki Ramayana says that Hanumana travelled in the southern direction from Kishkindha. The Maniknath cave is located on the sudden flank of a mountain. The road from Maniknath cave proceeds southward. So, Hanumana had to reach Kutch where, as we shall show shortly, Sita was taken by Ravana, from Maniknath then one has to come down from the mountain on the south and then veer around the mountain to go to Kutch. This short southward travel of Hanumana may have been mentioned in the Valmiki Ramayana.
The Ramayana also says that Hanumana left in the Abhijeet Constellation. The direction associated with the Abhijeet Constellation is northwest.[i] Here, again, we have two contradictory signals from the Ramayana. On the one hand it says that Hanumana travelled in the southern direction; on the other hand, it says he travelled in the Abhijeet constellation or the northwest direction. So, can be true–Hanumana may have travelled in the southern or the northwest direction.
Sindhu of Valmiki Ramayana could be the Indus River falling into the Rann of Kutch
Hanumana located Sita at Lanka and came back and reported to Rama. Thren Rama and Sugriva decided to march on Lanka. The Valmiki Ramayana says that their target was to reach the banks of the Sindhu. Now normally it is understood that Sindhu is a synonym for the sea. This is the third mention of the southern direction. But the more direct association is found with the Sindhu River. At the time of Rama at 2000 BCE, the Indus or the Sindhu River was flowing to east to her present course and it was emptying into the Rann of Kutch.[i] Therefore, Rama and Sugriva going to the banks of the Sindhu could be the Rann of Kutch.
A possibility is that they camped at Vadnagar that lies about 50 km to east of the Rann of Kutch. There is a placed called Rama Tekadi. Here some ancient bricks are seen which, to my knowledge, have not been carbon dated yet.
There is also a small temple by the name Rameshwar on the mound which is the place mentioned in the Ramayana as the place where they started making the bridge to Lanka.
There are two islands as one approached the Rann westward from Vadnagar. Then there is a third bigger island known as Khadir on which the ancient site of Dholavira is located. Rama had to cross the sea between these islands. The Hindu texts say that Rama’s army uprooted trees, tied stones to them and threw them in the sea. Such a strategy would be perfect for the shallow Rann of Kutch where the maximum depth is about 20 feet. The stones would sink into the seabed and hold the trees in their position. One could jump from one floating branch to another and cross the sea. This may have been the bridge made by Rama.
Interestingly, before Rama started making the bridge, he had discharged an arrow which he had placed on his bow to threaten the Sea to give him a path to Lanka. The Valmiki Ramayana says that the place where the arrow fell became a hole and it was named “Vrann.”[i] Here we have a clear association of the “Rann” of Kutch and the “Vrann” of the Ramayana. It seems that Rama made the bridge over the Rann of Kutch and reached Dholavira.
What is Dholavira famous for?
The Valmiki Ramayana says that Lanka had manmade reservoirs.[i] In Dholavira we have more than four large manmade reservoirs. There is a place named Lanki Bajar on the island of Khadir. There is a place named Lanki Dungra south of Dholavira on the other bank of the Rann. We have the name Lanka embedded in Lanki Bajar and Lanki Dungra. There are folk tales about Rama having come here.
Rama crossed the Rann, went to Dholavira, fought with Ravana and liberated Sita. Dholavira was inhabited from about 3000 BCE.[i] So, if we consider Rama to have lived at around 2000 BCE, then we get archaeological evidence in support of this being the Lanka. Rama went back to Ayodhya after reclaiming Sita here.
As an aside, the narrative of Rama in the Hindu texts and that of Abraham in the Bible are substantially similar. Rama left southward with his wife and his brother. Abraham left South ward with his wife and his nephew. After reaching south, Rama’s wife Sita was kidnapped by Ravana. After reaching south, Abraham’s wife Sara was taken by the people to the palace of the Pharaoh. Rama retrieved Sita from Ravana after killing him. Abraham was given Sarah back by the Pharaoh. Rama went back to Ayodhya after reclaiming Sita. Abraham went back after getting back Sarah.
In conclusion, the archaeological, geographical, etymological and ethnographic evidences suggest that Lanka could be located at Dholavira. This establishes the historicity of Lord Rama.

WHO IS ISRAEL
The Honour Of Kings
The video that goes with this document: https://youtu.be/Q9cgOtT0cao
The Basic History
1.1 Israel Originally Were Twelve Tribes.
Judah
Reuben
Gad
Asher
Naphtali
Manasseh
Simeon
Issachar
Zebulun
Benjamin
Ephraim
Dan
1.2 Two Houses Formed.
Then, because of Solomon’s (son of David) disobedience to the covenant, in going after strange gods. Israel was split into two kingdoms: Benjamin and Judah in the south with Jerusalem remaining as their capital, and the other 10 tribes were in the north, with Samaria as their new capital. These two kingdoms, or two houses, are referred to as the house of Judah, and the house of Israel, (two sticks/two olive trees)
1.3 The Split Was Prophesied To Happen.
In Deuteronomy 4:27-31 we see the first prophecy that Israel will be exiled from the promised land and scattered from one end of the earth to another, where there they will worship other gods (🎅🐰🎄🎃).
27 And the Lord shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the Lord shall lead you.
28 And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
31 (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
In Deuteronomy 28:63-64, Moses gave this prophecy again in the same speech he delivered regarding the curses that would come with disobedience to the covenant.
63 And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
64 And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
Later, in Deuteronomy 32:26 God reminds us of this prophecy which shall come to pass and tells us again that not only will Israel be scattered to the four corners of the earth, but moreover, their identity will be lost.
26 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:
We see the same loss of identity mentioned yet again in Psalm 83:4 (speaking of the other nations).
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
1.4 It Came To Pass That Israel Were Indeed Scattered.
In 722 BC, firstly, the northern kingdom was exiled in 2 Kings 17:5-6  (remember Samaria was their capital).
5 Then the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria, and besieged it three years.
6 In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
Importantly, Assyria is the country that we call “Turkey” today, just north-west of the land of Israel. It’s also important to know that the northern kingdom has never returned. We will get into the prophecy of their return later with scripture, but for now, just  take our word on it.
1.5 The First Exile Of Judah.
After the northern kingdom was scattering, only the southern kingdom was left in the land, 2 Kings 17:18.
18 Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only.
In 605 BC The first wave of Judah got exiled into Babylon, we see an account of this in 2 Kings 24:10-16.
10 At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
11 And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it.
12 And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
13 And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, as the Lord had said.
14 And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
15 And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
16 And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
In Daniel 1:1-4 we get even more detail.
1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.
2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.
3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;
4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
You see here that Judah learnt the ways of the Chaldeans in Babylon. This is where the evil Talmud was written and where Judah learnt the ways of the sunset to sunset sabbath. A lot of bad tradition and doctrine came out of Babylon. This is why Yeshua was rebuking the Pharisees so hard, calling them of their father the devil, dead men's bones, etc. Because they began to worship the devil and taught the rest of Judah to do the same. You see, the Chaldeans were already a rich nation, they took the most cunning and skillful out of Judah, and became even more powerful. Descendants of Chaldeans still run the world today, we just call them the “Freemasons” or the “Illuminati” - The Oculus Cult.
1.6 The Second Exile Of Judah.
`In 586 BC, we see accounts of the final exile and destruction of the temple in 2 Kings 25:8-12, 2 Chronicles 36:15-21, and Jeremiah 52:12-14. Lets just read the Chronicle account for now.
15 And the Lord God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
17 Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand.
18 And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon.
19 And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.
20 And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
21 To fulfil the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate, she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
You see here two important details: Judah became servants to the Babylonians, and it was to be for a length of time given as “until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate, she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.”
Now you have to understand there is a weekly Sabbath given by God, made for man (Isaiah 58:13), the one in the 10 commandments. This weekly Sabbath is part of the Holy Covenant which we are still under today. Exodus 31:16  Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
And there was also an annual Sabbath (Leviticus 25) as part of the sacrificial law given by Moses, added because of transgression to the 10 commandments (Galatians 3:19) until the refreshing of the Holy Covenant. In this annual Sabbath the land and animals within were to gain rest for the entire year, every seven years.
So God says, “You wont keep my instructions? You won't listen to me? alright, off you go.”
So this passage here that we just read in 2 Chronicles 36:21:
21 To fulfil the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate, she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
Is quoting that which Jeremiah already prophesied of in Jeremiah 25:11-12. (Threescore and ten years is just KJV language for 70 years).
11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.
1.6 Judah Return To The Land.
So the only reason that we have ethnic Jews in the country that we call Israel today is because their ancestors returned. Now, remember they picked up that evil Talmud and still reckon with Babylonian day counting, they still keep the Chaldeans traditions. That is why Jews are renowned for their belief in their ethnic supremacy because their Talmud tells them that anyone not an ethnic Jew is like unto cattle and basically to go ahead and abuse them. That once they’re in their idea of the kingdom, gentiles will be their slaves. There is a remnant of Judah however that knows their brothers and sisters are still scattered and are trying to find them as Yeshua instructed them.
We see the return of Judah in Ezra-Nehamiah, specifically in Ezra 1:1-4, Ezra 3:1-3  and Nehemiah 2:17-18. Let's just read Ezra 1 for the sake of completeness.
1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he hath charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.
4 And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.
1.6 The House Of Israel Never Returned To The Land.
There is no account of the northern kingdom returning to the land in scripture. There is not even any serious debate over this matter in terms of the worldly historical view. There is no evidence of a return, this is almost universally accepted. In fact, if you do a bit of research you will even find that the Assyrians carried out a policy of forced population displacement.
But more importantly we do see many scriptures telling us that in the time of Yeshua, they were still scattered. As a matter of fact Yeshua tells us that he came for ONLYthe LOST sheep of THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL in Matthew 15:24.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Don’t worry though, we will read around this verse for context later and we will see that anyone can be saved. For now just understand that Yeshua himself said that he came only for those scattered sheep.
Israel Dispersed
2.1 The Jews Knew That Their Brothers and Sisters From The Northern Kingdom Were Lost.
When Yeshua told the Jews that he was going some place they won’t be able to find him, we of course know that he was talking about the kingdom of God. But we see that they thought in John 7:35 that perhaps he was talking about going to “the dispersed”.
35 Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
And if you open Strong's concordance on this verse you see that Gentiles just means Nations and that “dispersed” literally means scattered, from the root Greek word “Sown”. And would it blow your mind to learn that it's the same word Paul and Peter use when they address their letters?
2.2 Paul describing the ‘Gentiles’
Ephesians 2:11-12
11  Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past 👉🏼Gentiles in the flesh👈🏼, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12  That at that time 👉🏼ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world👈🏼
‘Being aliens’ from the commonwealth of Israel means to be ‘estranged’ according to Strong’s Concordance, which by default means that they were, at one time,  part of the commonwealth of Israel, but by the time Paul was sent unto them they had completely forgotten the Holy Covenants and had no hope because they were without God.
2.3 My People, Which Were Not My People - The Divorce
So when Paul says in Romans 9:24 that God has called the Jews and the Gentiles, he’s saying Judah, and the house of Israel who were dispersed into the Gentiles and therefore now called simply Gentiles.
24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
25 As he saith also in Hosea, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
Moreover, let's see what he was quoting there in Hosea, its Hosea 1:1-11.
1 The word of the Lord that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
2 The beginning of the word of the Lord by Hosea. And the Lord said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the Lord.
3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him a son.
4 And the Lord said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu,👉 and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.👈
5 And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel, in the valley of Jezreel.
6 And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.
7 But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
8 Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.
9 Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
10 👉 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
11 Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel. 👈
See it's clear, God will call those who were not his people (because they were divorced), his people again. Or as Hosea puts it, the sons of the living God. The only people who were his people, prophesied to one day be his people again, are the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Only Israel Get Saved
3.1 The Only Gates To Heaven Are Those With The Names Of The 12 Tribes on them.
John saw Heaven and he saw only 12 gates, with the 12 tribes' names on them. This is Revelation 21:10-13.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
You see, there is no Gentile gate, there is no Church gate.
Be sure to watch this too, a short video from our brother Mark explaining exactly this in more detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoXTi2-DMwE&t=168s
3.2 The White Stone.
This is why Yeshua says that he will give you a white stone with a new name written on it in Revelation 2:16-17. That is the name of your tribe that you have been grafted into, which is the gate that you will be entering in to the kingdom through
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
3.3 The Seven Churches That Revelation Was Written To Are All In Assyria.
In Revelation 1:11, Yeshua instructed John to write to seven churches in Asia, which is Asia Minor, previously Assyria, or the landmass that we call Turkey today.
11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Go and Google those places and you’ll see this is where they all are:
This is where the northern kingdom was initially scattered (2 Kings 17:5-6) before their descendants fulfilled prophecy by spreading to the four corners of the earth.
3.4 Letters Addressed To The Northern Kingdom.
Even look at first Peter. 1 Peter 1:1-2 is addressed to the ELECT strangers SCATTERED throughout nations in Asia Minor also.
1 Peter, an apostle of Yeshua the Messiah, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Yeshua the Messiah: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
All these nations were where the northern kingdom was scattered to as well, noting Galatia, same deal, the northern kingdom dispersed into the Gentiles, who are Gentiles.
James also, James 1:1.
1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
James wrote to the 12 tribes. No one else. So if you don’t want to be grafted into Israel, you might as well throw out all of James.
Remember, the dispersion, the lost brothers and sisters, the lost sheep, were known to be in these northern nations at the time, John 7:35 which we read earlier is the evidence for that.
3.5 The New Covenant Is Only For Israel.
Jeremiah 31:31 tells us clearly that the new covenant, which is that God will give us new hearts when in the kingdom, is only made to Israel (which is both houses)
“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:”
And you know this hasn’t happened yet, why? Because you keep reading Jeremiah 31:32-34:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34👉 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.👈
We know this new covenant made only with the house of Israel and the House of Judah hasn't begun yet. for three reasons.
Reason 1) Which two commandments did the Messiah elevate in Matthew 22:37-40?
37 Yeshua said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
And what was he quoting? Deuteronomy 6-8 for Loving God, and Leviticus 19:15-18 for loving your neighbour as yourself (James calls this the royal law in James 2:8-9).
8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
Without reading Deuteronomy chapter 6 to 8 to see what it means to love God with all your heart, mind and soul, (which you absolutely must do by the way), it means to keep his commandments. For Israel at the time, this meant the 10 commandments (the Holy Covenant), as well as the sacrificial law which was added because of transgression thereof. For you, now that Messiah refreshed the Holy Covenant, this simply means keep the 10 commandments.
And loving your neighbour as yourself IS LIKE UNTO IT and means to rebuke your neighbour when they break the 10 commandments. Let's read that quickly at least (Leviticus 19:15-18).
15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the Lord.
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
And you see Yeshua cant have meant anything else in Matthew 22:37-40, because if God changes the definition of something later, then he is the author of confusion, let scripture define scripture, when something is defined in the bible the first time, that is its definition. You don’t get to redefine things to fit your deceitful heart's desire.
So the apostate church will say that the new covenant started with Yeshua's resurrection. But if Yeshua taught to teach your neighbors not to sin, and the new covenant is that you won't even need to teach your neighbors because everyone will know God. How can that be? Why on earth did Yeshua tell you to rebuke your neighbour if no one is sinning anyway under the new covenant?
Reason 2) Simply, the new covenant says that: “for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them”. Do ALL know God today? Absolutely not, we still live our lives surrounded by atheists and agnostics, even the Apostate Christian church itself has over 50,000 denominations. So if the new covenant is in effect now, that would make God a liar.
Reason 3) More simply, the house of Israel is still lost, so how can a lost house receive a new covenant?
The new covenant is for the millennial reign, where only then will the house of Israel be gathered, and Judah and the house of Israel will be able to receive the new covenant.
So, the new covenant clearly hasn’t happened yet. And when it happens, it only is given to Israel, the reunited northern and southern tribes, no house of Gentiles. So there's two options. Be grafted into Israel and be partakers in the kingdom, or remain Gentiles and die. You see how ridiculous it is to be so adamant that you want to remain Gentiles? If you remain a Gentile you don’t go to the kingdom. So be grafted in…
You Must Be Grafted Into Israel To Be Saved
So we have established that only Israel (both houses - all 12 tribes) make it into the kingdom. But the northern kingdom has been dispersed and lost their identity in the world. So how do you be saved? What's the plan for the lost sheep of the house of Israel?
4.1 What Being Grafted In Means.
Jeremiah 3:8  tells us that backsliding Israel (this is talking about the house of Israel) has been divorced.
8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
But just before that in Jeremiah 3:1, God says “yet return to me”.
1 They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the Lord.
But Deuteronomy 24:1-3 tells us that if you commit adultery you can't be re married.
1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.
3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;
4 Her former husband, which sent her away, 👉may not take her again to be his wife👈, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the Lord: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
So that's a problem right? Well the solution starts in John 17:9-10 where Yeshua says:
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
So keep that in mind now when we read Romans 7:
1 Know ye not, brethren, 👉(for I speak to them that know the law,)👈 how that the law hath dominion over a man 👉as long as he liveth?👈
Even stopping there, Paul is saying, “I’m only talking to those who know the law” so go back and read the part of the law he’s talking about at least. We already did just now but you see that's the clue, you have to keep your eye out for these things when you read scripture.
2 👉For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.👈
3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
You see Paul, who knew the law probably better than anyone even alive today, is explaining to us that a woman can’t remarry so long as her husband lives. However, if her husband dies she is free to remarry and is no longer an adulterer. You probably see where this is going…
Recall that in Romans 9:24 Paul (quoting Hosea 1) said that God has called not only the Jews but the Gentiles. And in the next verse he calls this group of Gentiles “my people, which were not my people”. Well in Hosea 2:23 we get even more detail.
23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.
YESHUA DIED FOR YOU TO ABLE TO BE REMARRIED WITH GOD. This is what dying for your sins means even. Israel sinned (with idolatry/spiritual adultery) and was divorced, Yeshua died for those sins so you could be remarried again, be born again, and become one with him.
That's the gospel by the way. Yeshua came to end sacrificial law, refresh the Holy Covenant (a.k.a the 10 commandments) and allow you to become married again if you keep that covenant. Super simple. The gospel isn’t that the Messiah came so that you could do whatever is right in your own eyes, forsake the perpetual covenant and enter the kingdom anyway. That's the apostate church version, and it’s exactly what the devil wants you to believe.
This is why the Jews today don’t care to get the lost sheep of the northern kingdom, because they don't believe in Yeshua the Messiah, they don't think the northern kingdom is allowed to come back (because they have been divorced) despite the many scriptures even in the old testament saying otherwise. They don't understand that Yeshua's death is the way that the house of Israel can return.
Being grafted in means you become spiritual Israel, you inherit Israel's instructions, covenants, as well as the promises, and curses thereof. Just like if you move from America to Australia and become a citizen, you drive on the left side of the road, you don’t say “na thats just for Australians, I’m going to keep driving on the right hand side” or worse, “sometimes I’ll drive on the right, sometimes i'll drive on the left, whatever suits me better that day”. If you do that and you’ll be deported, or CUT OFF.
4.2 Be Grafted Into The Olive Tree
In Romans 11:11-27 Paul likens Gentiles who repent and are obedient to what the Messiah taught, unto branches being grafted into an olive tree.
11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 👉For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.👈
22 👉Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.👈(OSAS debunked).
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
24 👉For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?👈(Judah can be grafted in also).
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
So you see that because of the Messiah's sacrifice, you can now be grafted into Israel and enter the kingdom and new covenant. But, don’t be arrogant, because if he cut off the natural branches, how much sooner will he cut off the unnatural branches that were grafted in? Don’t do what the northern kingdom did in 2 Kings 17 (🎅🐰🎄🎃) otherwise you'll be thrown into the fire.
4.3 Yeshua Is The Olive Tree
Yeshua is the olive tree, we see that in Isaiah 11:1.
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
Jesse is David's dad.
Zechariah even saw this vision long before the Messiah came in Zechariah 4:1-3.
1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.
2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
And this is the real flag of Israel, it's not some 6 pointed star like the one you put on your christmas tree of remphan (Acts 7:43) which belongs to moloch.
43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
In John 15:1-6 Yeshua uses a parable of a vine.
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 👉 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.👈
So you have to abide in Yeshua or you get casted into the fire. John 14 tells you how to abide in Yeshua. John 14:15-21 says:
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
See clearly, to abide in Yeshua, matter of fact, to love Yeshua, means to keep his commandments. What commandments? The sacrificial law added because of transgression until Yeshua refreshed the 10 commandments? Of course not, to love Yeshua means to keep the 10 commandments.
4.4 Ezekiel's “Sticks”
Ezekiel 37:15-28 tells us yet again, that the two houses will one day become one again.
15 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
And the word translated as “stick/s” here is really “Tree”. The lying pen of the scribes doesn't want you to make the connection to the olive tree.
4.5 The Wise And Foolish Virgins
The apostate church has to realise that they are the 10 virgins from Yeshua parable in Matthew 25:1-13.
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 👉But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.👈
13 👉Watch therefore👈, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Now compare those last couple of verses to what Yeshua says again in Matthew 7:22-23.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, 👉I never knew you👈: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
The church are gentiles, who if they keep covenant are grafted into the commonwealth of Israel. Paul even says don't become proud, don't do the same things the ancient Israelites did in 2 Kings 17 because you will  get plucked out even quicker than they did because you aren’t even the natural branches. But they don't listen, and they absolutely have gotten proud. They even think they have replaced Israel and can go and do pagan witchcraft and lie to their children about it because they are ‘once saved always saved’. NO, you will get cut off. and that's Paul telling you guys this.
The apostate church just can't accept that they are the 10 virgins, and some will be wise and some will be foolish. The ones doing christmas and easter, not keeping the covenant from Horeb are the foolish ones who are building their houses on sand which will fall GREATLY.
So now we can come back to Matthew 15:21-28 like we said we would do. This is the passage where Yeshua says he only came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Let's read around it.
21 Then Yeshua went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
Stop here. The coast of Tyre and Sidon, where is that? The North.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28 Then Yeshua answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
See this all happened to prove the point that gentiles, the lost sheep of the house of Israel, can be grafted in. It was only after the woman showed her faith that her child was made well.
How To Be Grafted Into Israel
5.1 You Must Keep The 10 Commandments To Be Grafted In
Isaiah 56:3-7 tells us this:
3 👉 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, The Lord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.👈
4 👉For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;👈
5👉 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name (white stone), that shall not be cut off.👈
6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Pretty simple, to be grafted into Israel, and God's kingdom, you have to keep the Holy Covenant
Back to Hosea, Hosea 4:6 tells us if you reject knowledge, God will reject you.
6 👉 My people👈 are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Remember “my people, which were not my people” are those who are grafted into spiritual Israel.
The question begs, what is knowledge (from the root Hebrew word “yada”, which means ‘to know’)? Let's keep reading, in Hosea 6:6-7 we get more detail.
6 For I desired 👉mercy, and not sacrifice👈; and the 👉knowledge of God👈 more than burnt offerings.
7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
Yeshua himself even told you to go and learn what this means in Matthew 9:13 when he says:
13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
So clearly knowledge has something to do with mercy, so what is the mercy Yeshua was speaking of? How do we obtain this mercy? Look at Deuteronomy 7:9-10.
9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which 👉keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations👈;
10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.
Deuteronomy 5:9-10 tells us the same thing. You must read this whole chapter by the way. Because this is the same chapter where he tells us the covenant at Horeb is the 10 commandments.
9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,
10 👉And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.👈
So to be grafted into Israel, it is simple. Keep the 10 commandments. Yeshua tells us that his yoke is easy and his burden is light in Matthew 11:28-30:
8 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
You see, he even tells us to learn of him, learn what this easy yoke and light burden is.
At this point I would say go and watch our other video on the “Simple Gospel” if you are still not convinced that you need to keep the covenant.
youtube
If you don’t listen to all the scriptures we show you in that video, at least consider Proverbs 19:16.
16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.
Otherwise get ready to hear “I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-27)
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, 👉I never knew you👈: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a 👉wise man, which built his house upon a rock:👈
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 👉 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.👈
The wise man builds his house on the rock, which is the rock of Horeb and keeps the commandments given there in Deuteronomy 5. The foolish man is the apostate church, prophesied to fall, who know the true gospel, but forsake it to go off and commit spiritual adultery (🎅🐰🎄🎃).
5.2 After You Have Received Knowledge, Don't Turn Back
So once you receive the truth, you have to stay in it. Hebrews 10:26 says:
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.
Matthew 10:37 puts it another way:
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Then on the contrary, Yeshua says in Matthew 19:29:
29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
Hebrews 6:4-6 also tells us:
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 👉If they shall fall away👈, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
But the church won't show you that verse, or if they do they will twist it away to tickle your ears. Because this right here should completely debunk once saved, always saved. So ask a pastor how this can be if ‘once saved always saved’ is true, and watch them crap their pants and fumble to give you an answer.
Don't be like Lot's wife in Genesis 19:24-26.
24 Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;
25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
So when you come out of spiritual Sodom, don’t look back, you can’t drink from both cups, thats 1 Corinthians 10:21:
21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
Proverbs 26:11 puts it plainly:
11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, So a fool returneth to his folly.
And remember what happens to foolish men, who build their house upon the sand? They fall.
Now go and read the parable of the seed sower in Matthew 13 to see what Yeshua has to say about this matter.
God Is Calling You To Do Exactly That - Be Grafted In
6.1 Come Out Of Her My People!
God wants you to come out of the apostate church which is a big ugly whore according to the book of Revelation.
God says in Revelation 18:1-5
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, 👉 Come out of her, 👉my people👈, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.👈
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Hosea 12:6 talking about both kingdoms transgressions says:
6 Therefore turn thou to thy God: 👉 keep mercy and judgment👈 and wait on thy God continually.
And Yeshua already taught us what mercy means, so this could read: “Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep the 10 commandments and royal law and wait on thy God continually.”
That is what you're supposed to hear, that is why Isaiah 28:10 tells us to read scripture in this manner:
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little
Hosea 14:1 says:
1 O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
In Isaiah 57:16-21 we see prophecy of entering the kingdom if we have a contrite and humble spirit toward God:
15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace 👉to him that is far off, and to him that is near👈, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.
20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
When Yeshua was talking to Judah, he even told them he had sheep that were not of their fold that must return in John 10:14-16.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 👉 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold👈: them also I must bring,👉 and they shall hear my voice;👈 and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
We know from Matthew 15:42 which we read earlier that Yeshua only came for the lost sheep of the House of Israel. So this passage in John is clearly only talking to Israel.
6.2 Get Your Brothers And Sisters As Well!
So not only is God calling you to be grafted in, but Yeshua tells you that it’s not good enough to just return yourself, but to also go and get others of his flock. That's why he asked Peter three times if he loved him, and everytime he said “Go, feed my sheep” in John 21:15-18.
15 So when they had dined, Yeshua saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Yeshua saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
And this is a requirement. You cannot feed your own belly. If you love Yeshua, you will love his sheep, if you don’t love his sheep, you don’t love him. Let's compare what we just read there with John 14:15-21 again.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
And If there was still any doubt, John tells us plainly in his first letter (1 John 5:1-3).
1 Whosoever believeth that Yeshua is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
2👉 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments👈.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
And if you’re paying attention, this is exactly what we are trying to do with this presentation. Unfortunately, many are called, but only few are chosen. If you are watching this video, especially if you have made it to this point. You have been called, so do you choose? Yeshua said this in Matthew 22:14.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
6.3 Did Israel's Punishment End?
This is a bit of speculation, but there is some evidence in Ezekiel 4:1-6 that Israel's punishment might have ended in 2008. We see Ezekiel laid on his left side for 390 days for each year of Israel's iniquity.
1 Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
2 And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.
3 Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
5 👉For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.👈
6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
So Israel went into captivity in 722 BC and Ezekiel received this prophecy where he was to lay on his left side for 390 days, a symbol of the punishment for the northern kingdom. But, the northern kingdom did not repent, they didn’t turn back to God, and God had already said long before in Leviticus 26:13-21 that if they don’t repent he will punish them seven times more.
13 I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
18 👉And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.👈
19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
So 7 times 390 = 2730 years. If you subtract the date of exile, 722, you get the year 2008 AD. Interestingly, around this time and after, a lot of people started to wake up to the true gospel and come out of the church.
Again, this is a bit of speculation, but we know also from Hosea 6:1-2 that the Messiah will tarry for two days before his return.
1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
And from 2 Peter 3:8 that:
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
So if Yeshua died in 28 AD like many think, and you add 2000 years for two days, before subtracting 3.5 years for the great tribulation as per Revelation 12:14 (time, times and a half) and Revelation 13:5 (42 months), you get the sixth seal opening spring time in 2024. and only the 144,000 will be caught up to the throne, the church is the woman in the wilderness. But that will be a whole nother video. The point is in any case, just even looking at the prophecy being fulfilled, you do not have much time left to QUICKLY keep the two covenants of Ephesians 2 which is to keep the 10 commandments and eat clean & don't touch blood.
The urgency comes from Luke 16, the parable of the unjust steward, which we did a short video on here:
youtube
And we explain the two covenants further in scripture in this video here:

The Second Exodus
So the northern kingdom return to the land through another exodus, so great that no one will even mention the first one out of Egypt. This is told in Jeremiah 16:14-15.
14 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be said, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
15 But, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.
As well as in Jeremiah 23:7-8.
7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8 But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
The church used to know this too before they went apostate as was prophesied to happen in many places 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, 1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Timothy 3:1-9, and Daniel 11 to name a few. They used to have a hymn from Isaiah 51:11.
11 Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
We will do another video on this topic but it is important that you know this has to happen.

"I love to build castles of happiness and pleasure in France"
One of my absolute favourite letters is this one from La Fayette to his wife Adrienne from January 6, 1778. The army has just begun the encampment at Valley Forge and La Fayette longs for his wife, children, family, friends and home after he made the decision that he, at the current moment, can not in good conscious return to France. He is in a rather bleak mood and writes this rather long letter to his wife. This letter gives great insight not only into his feelings towards his wife and children, but also concerning his relationship with Washington, the state of the Revolution and his position within. He also takes the reader along his reasoning, allowing us to have a better understanding of what words like “honour” and “duty” meant for him personally. Since the letter is longer, allow me to present you some of my favourite passages:
The passages in the brackets are the ones taken out when the letters where published in La Fayette’s Memoirs.
What a date, my dearest, and what a country to be writing from in the month of January! My destiny is strange indeed. In a camp, in the middle of the woods, fifteen hundred leagues from you, I am confined by the winter (when I should have been with you two months ago – when, my dear, all my desires and even good sense obliged me to depart.
*-*-*
Honestly, dear heart, do you think that it would not require very strong reasons to induce me to make this sacrifice? Everything tells me to depart, but honor has told me to remain (…)
*-*-*
You must be aware that it is not for my pleasure that I remain buried in this wretched place, while every possible happiness awaits me in Paris, in the midst of all my friends, and in the arms of a charming wife whom I love more than ever. If you could see for a moment what is in my heart, I would have no need of excuses; and if my feelings affect you ever so little, I dare say that you will be content with the sentiments that I express.
*-*-*
Take advantage of that to write to me, and even though your letter may well arrive long after I have left, write anyway, in case I may be so unfortunate as to be here still, to soften a bit the boredom and sorrow of my exile.)
*-*-*
You should have received by now the letter I sent to you as soon as I heard of your delivery. How happy that event has made me, dear heart! I like to mention it to you in all my letters because I enjoy thinking about it constantly. What a pleasure it will be to embrace my two poor daughters, and have them ask their mother to forgive me. You must not believe that I am so insensitive, dear heart, and at the same time so ridiculous, that the sex of our new child has diminished in the slightest my joy at her birth. We have not become so decrepit that we shall need a miracle to have another child. That one absolutely has to be a boy. For the rest, if one must worry about the family name, I declare that I have decided to live long enough to bear it myself for many years, before I am obliged to bequeath it to another being.
*-*-*
If those ladies do not understand the reasons that force me, despite myself, to remain here (from day to day), they must think me a very ridiculous person, especially since they are able to see my dear heart, that charming wife from whom I separate myself. But that same idea must impress them with a sense that (if I remain, if I sacrifice pleasure to boredom, happiness to sorrow, life in the most amiable company to the dreary life of a savage, if, in short, dear heart, I am far from you instead of being near) it is because I have overwhelming reasons for making that decision.
*-*-*
Several general officers have brought their wives to camp, and I am very envious, not of their wives (who are rather dull), but of the pleasure they have in being able to see them.
*-*-*
I love to build castles of happiness and pleasure in France. You are always a part of them, dear heart, and once we are reunited nothing will separate us again and prevent us from enjoying together both the sweetness of loving each other and the most delightful and tranquil felicity. Farewell, my heart, I truly wish that that arrangement could begin today.
*-*-*
Farewell, farewell, my very dear heart, love me always, and never forget for a moment the unhappy exile who thinks always of you with a new tenderness.
