Thinking about Very Scary Miles Edgeworth who is a Vampire and all the kids at school (and later everyone in court) is TERRIFIED of him because ‘he’ll suck your blood!’

And then after the class Trial Phoenix and Larry go to eat lunch with him. Phoenix is trying very hard to be brave as Miles opens up his lunch box. Larry is shaking behind him. Is he going to pull out a blood bag??? A blood juice box? A LIVE ANIMAL TO SUCK DRY????

He pulls out a banana. Just goes to town on it. Cheeks puffed out because he just shoved the whole thing in at once. Chewing very seriously but with eyes closed because he loves it so much.

Turns out he’s a part of the fruit bat line of vampires. He had no idea his classmates were scared of him.  Makes soft little chuffing sounds when he has a Really good piece of fruit.

i've been dead and gone bc of school and jobsearching and everything happening all at once but ive been playing the boktai series games lately and i'm enjoying it a lot. I just got past the third boss in boktai 2. I don't know why but i'm enthralled with these games, i highly recommend them

#WOE TEN THOUSAND TAG MUSINGS BE UPON YE (this is a warning) #boktai #(pointing) the battle network fan has fallen for the crossover marketing 20 years late #the first gif is bc i imagine the bosses waiting all polite like for django to finish eating healing items when heal scumming in fights. #twenty apples a day keeps the damage away #django is like a son to me hes just a little guy #if the text is hard to read in the third image it says “The tick damage in sunlight brothers” #i find it funny that vampire django still gains his energy from sunlight after turning. his voiceline changes too #it's hard to tell if it's bc hes supposed to sound gruff or like hes in pain. but it makes me feel bad for recharging energy like that #i figure he'd be wound up abt this since it seems he views any connection to his father with a lot of weight #(e.x: zazie pointing out he's crying just after the gun del sol got stolen at the start of 2) #hence why he's depressed in that image #also all the official art of him looks very cool but im incapable of seeing him like that his sprite makes him look like a scruffy dog #im torn between thinking it's cute nd wanting to make fun of him with doodles. least typical vampire appearance with the most typical power #the way you kill immortals (vampires) in this game is so metal i need to rant abt it Somewhere #so like boktai is a game series abt vampire hunting but it's rather sci-fi abt it. instead of more typical weapons you use solar energy #the immortals resurrect after being killed #but this can be prevented via purification. the way this goes is #after winning a bossfight the enemy will get sealed in a coffin. that you then to drag allll the way back outside the dungeon #(often with new puzzles thanks to the coffin being an extra weight) #all the while the immortal inside tries to escape #the objective is to get the immortal to a. summoning circle i guess? #housing devices called pile drivers. they're more like lenses or mirrors though. #they focus sunrays on the coffin purifying the immortal after a brief fight that's like #preventing the boss from attacking the pile drivers until it dies #like. this doesn't sound all that special but most bosses you fight are sentient and i just think it's a bit of a brutal method #for a main protagonist to use #i keep thinking of how it must feel to do it for a living. something like a funeral driver but you're the murderer and the corpse isn't dea #and instead of a funeral you're taking them to a mega death laser array that'll slowly chip away at their health #and then boktai 2 inflicts that on django and im like. is he ok (he's ok but he died)

Thinking plotting scheming of pt, but make it diceyd/ungeons. I think it fits so well; the plot of dd is so cute and its easy to smush existing characters into that universe.

Peppino wishes for his debt to be cleared and for his shop to be successful. Pman wants him and his art to be famous and revered beyond his wildest dreams. Vigi wants Justice or whatever (but hes actually here to be nosy about the ins and outs of the show itself). Noise wants MONEY and FAME. Mysterious man who looks like peppino wants his own shop :). All the pt bosses are dd bosses before going ‘hey, u know what? This gig kinda sucks ass. If u think u can take on the big cheese im jumpin onboard w you’.

Thats all i got LOL i am debating if i still want lady luck to be the boss or let pizzaface be the big bad and just remove the existing dd characters entirely. Pizzahead would always be the jester, and therefore, always be your last die/teammate, which i think is cute heehee hes tired of being a silly little guy no one takes seriously! So no clue what the phenomenon is called, but I've got that thing of "whenever you hear noises you have to repeat them" thing that some ADHD people have. It's not an always thing for me, but I do it A Lot when I'm out birding. I'm no good at it, of course, as I have a human mouth and no syrinx (a bird's voicebox), but that doesn't stop the chickadees from thinking some kid-chickadee is singing really badly in their territory, as chickadees love to throw down.

The problem is when you repeat a Barred Owl song (because ohmygod their song is amazing!) and the male of the pair thinks you sound juuuuuuuuust enough like an owl that he decides to scope your location. The amount of impulse control you gain when faced with the fact an owl would gladly smack the back of your head for singing terribly is incredible.

#it's seriously so hard to not do a BADO song whenever I hear them tho they're just so fuckin cool #but that night they were already riled up and getting ready for the breeding season #so when I sang the male was like Oh Really?? a little over a month after max ended things with lucas a girl in her spanish class aproched her and asked if “lucas sinclar” is single. apparently she thinks he’s cute and has seen them hanging out. “no, he isn’t single” is what max wants to say because if she sticks to her plan of mourning their relationship for the rest of high school so should he, even if max was the one who broke it off. but max is a good person so she says “yeah he’s single.” but not that good so she adds “he just got out of a relationship though, and he’s not over her” and since she’s already crossed that first line “i actually wouldn’t even try.”

max only lasts an hour or two before she feels so guilty she tells lucas there’s a girl in her spanish class that he should ask out cause she thinks he’s cute. lucas is a little offended that his ex is trying to play matchmaker on principle but also because he was sort of planning on mourning his and max’s relationship for the rest of high school
