About Kaiko: (by @somemismatchedsocks) kaiko is from the past (1910s) and is a empath shepherd. However, when a particularly vicious pack of wolves attacked kaiko he tried to soothe them using his powers but accidentally soothes all of the sheep, wolves, and himself. They end up pulling a sleeping beauty and wake up 100 years later. Shadow + Sonic find him and decide to adopt him bc they are super pitying. (Also his romantic interest is Echo, a character from @a-crow-with-a-pen :DDDDD ) sorry about the cringe backstory lol. He likes apples and sheep and is socially inadequate just like his creator. He has a heart of gold and a huge scaredy-cat but his loyalty is immeasurable. Powerful empathy tho so that’s cool too *thumbs up*

About Gigi: (by @w0lp3rtinger, art by @lambpaca) They are a fancy parakeet Shadow and Amy adopt since they cannot have kids naturally/biologically. They're a feisty, messy, loud child that loves digging in the dirt, bugs, and hearing about her family's crazy adventures. She wants to grow up to be an archeologist.

Joy: I didn't mean to wake you… I did want to thank you though, for allowing me to come with today.

Cordy: [shrugs] Whatever.

[slightly awkward silence.]

Joy: Mae's a wonderful child.

Cordy: Isn't she? So much energy and fun. And she looks so much like me… I'm bummed none of Raina's genes are showing through.

Joy: Maybe when she gets older… Are you two only going to have the one?

Cordy: I don't think so… Even with the big age gap I have with most of my siblings I still really liked having such a big family growing up. But for now, just one. She's a lot on her own. Plus I don't know if I want to be pregnant again, though Raina could always carry the next one I suppose.

Joy: Very true. Was pregnancy rough for you?

Cordy: It really was. I was tired all the time, I still am. Every little thing hurt. When I was a month out from Mae's due date I was ready for it to be done. I don't know how my mom did it 4 times.

Joy: [laughs softly]

Silence... Joy notices tears in Cordy's eyes.

Joy: What is it?

Cordy: I hate… hate, that my mom never met her. My daughter or my wife. At my wedding, it felt a little empty. But I could manage. And when I was in labor, my sister was there to help… But someone was missing. The most important person was missing.

The animation industry has been so fucked over these past couple years (the cancellation of The Owl House, Infinity Train, the HBOmax animation purge, just to name a few)

This seems to be the last straw for a lot of people, and it certainly is for me. Inside Job was one of Netflix’s top shows (not just top out of the animated stuff on Netflix, one of the top shows overall). It was renewed for a second season due to this popularity, so there should have been no reason to unrenew the show now.

Petitions haven’t worked in the past, I get it. I was one of those people who petitioned for months to get Infinity Train back up and running, to no avail. I get it, this sucks, and there’s very little we can do about it.

That said, please try and spread the news about this petition, or any other petitions you see. While there is very little hope for the show right now, there will be no hope at all unless we try to do something about it now. We need to make our voices heard.

So I say again one more time, please take a few seconds out of your day to sign the petition, and if you are able to, please share and reblog it as well. Spread awareness. Maybe we’ll be able to accomplish something. We’ll never know if we don’t try.

But season 3 was such an unmitigated dumpster fire and the awful way some of the characters were handled (cough-Gigi-cough) that I refuse to waste any of my time writing about it. I hate Rodolfo for the way he treats his daughter. But I can’t help but keep going back to him saying to Dani that he thought she’d end up with someone like Gigi. Do you think it influenced the way Dani viewed Gigi ? Was it something that nudged her in Gigi’s direction?: Link

the scene in Dani’s apartment where she says to Gigi “you sound like Sophie”. With Gigi’s reaction, I felt like she was a little upset for being compared with Sophie. I think it is because she already had feelings about Dani but and the “ex comparison” thing was something she didn’t like a bit. What do you think?: Link

in the scene where Dani tells Gigi she’s easy to talk to and Gigi responds by saying “not everyone would agree with you.” The look on Gigi’s face after Dani says “fuck ‘em” has always struck me as odd. It’s almost like Gigi is surprised by Dani’s response, or wasn’t expecting that reaction?: Link

I want to say that your analysis of GINI scenes are amazing. I'm curious to know if you analyzed the GINI hottest scene from episode 8 of season 2. If you did please send me a link. The other day on YouTube I read something along the lines of "Gigi mentors/mother's Dani too much and she'll eventually get tired of her, what Gigi needs is an equal as her partner not someone that's emotionally immature" What do you think? Do you think Gigi will ultimately get tired of Dani? I'm actually kinda curious cause Gigi herself said that she eventually tires of her partners. Link

I also think one of the main differences between Bette and Dani is that Dani is willing to learn from her mistakes and actively tries to change for the better. I think this was shown in how she went about in starting a relationship with Gigi. We know that her relationship with Sophie started with Sophie cheating on her then girlfriend with Dani and them “fucking in a bathroom stall” the first night they met. Before starting anything with Gigi, Dani actively made sure Bette was okay with it because she knew they were dating/had just broken up at the time. Link

Hey, thank you for all the analysis. Can you do a deeper analysis on the scenes from the time Gigi tells Dani that her feelings have changed to the time Dani ends up at Gigi's doorsteps just before their first kiss. I am particularly interested in the park bench scene. I feel there is a lot of subtext in their conversation. Also, curious on what made Gigi tell Dani about her feelings after Dana's. Curious if you think the events at Dana's influenced her to just go for it. Link

Your posts make me appreciate them more and also grateful to have found this corner of Internet where I can obsess over these two. That being said, I have one more question. I am not surprised that Dani is into Gigi. Gigi is super awesome and there to support her in Dani’s toughest moments and common who wouldn’t love Gigi back. I am curious about why Gigi is into Dani?
