\\To answer your question! I love the milk frother! I can't explain why, but it is such a fun little tool! I also love spinning in the ceiling fan! It is much fun and it makes funny noises and makes people do funny noises too! I also like the big oven! I like being helpful and help baking Poffins and Muffins and Cake and Pie and Cupcakes and Brownies and Bread and Quiche and other food too! And then there is the big fridge! I still do not know how to access the big fridge, but i will find out eventually! I bet it is very funny to possess such a large device!//

so i see a lot of folks thinking rotom are a modern invention like porygon and i'm going, no? they've been there when i was still in hisui at least way over in the coronet highlands.

they were a lot rarer back then of course, the only non-sentient thing with electricity you could possess are thunderstorms. a bunch of rotom would possess a cloud until lightning struck down where they would end up breeding.

it's just that once we got electrical appliances, rotom ended up adapting because they're going "oh sweet, a free home all to myself!" and doing services is basically like paying rent to your landlord ig.

I know i said i was switching out aggron for jirachi, but having a mythical/legendary on my team just doesnt feel right.

I forgot i got a jolteon from a wondertrade.

I have to do even more grinding, because i am genuinely terrified of losing this run.

Keep in mind, this is still RUN ONE. This is the run ya'll!

The no-heals between battles goes out the window for the e4 & champion. If i lose a team-member, they're gone for good (see the end of my white nuzlocke where it was just Haxorus at the end). Its my nuzlocke, and my rules.

Also small spoiler for my dragon only run; its going to be another modified nuzlocke only in name.

Ill draft up and post the rules once this run is done.

(Best believe drip for every gym will be back. I forgot that you get basic styles in bdsp)

Batfam as Pokemon Trainers

Batman is a dark type trainer generally, but I also really think his team would be made up of pokemon that represent other members of the batfam. His partner would be Corviknight because it suits his aesthetic and its a flying pokemon so it kind reps Dick. He would also 1000% have a male Indeedee named Alfred.

Dick is flying type trainer, this is honestly so self explanatory. He has a Talonflame, Dartix, Staraptor, Honchcrow, Togekiss, and a Sylveon named Haley that he intended to keep an Eevee but it evolved from friendship. EDIT: It's a shiny umbreon it evolved from friendship at night and its colors match Nightwing's. (Thanks, @vythika96.)

Babs uses ghost/electric because the writers tried to fridge her and she's great with tech. Her partner Pokemon is a Rotom named Francis.

Jason is fire/fighting, this is another one that seems obvious to me. He has Blaziken cause it starts its evolution a cute bird and then it grew into a fighter. He also has an Alolan Marowak because he needs at least one ghost pokemon after dying and Marowaks have enough Mommy issues to match him. Pangoro I also think would suit him, they are prone to violence but hate bullies and they look so rowdy. Also think Arcanine, Toxicroak, and Emboar would work for him.

Tim is psychic trainer. I told myself no legendaries but I honestly think Tim would an Unonwn that just chills with him, constantly hovering at the edge on his vision while he works. It's benevolent and likes him its just shy, but it drives Tim absolutely insane. His partner is an Espurr.

Stephanie doesn't stick to one type she just collects purple Pokemon. She has a ditto, a shiny sloking, a golbat, a stunky or skuntank named Jason, and an espeon she co-parents with Cass. Her favorite move in battle is confusion.

Cass is fighting/dark. HER PARTNER IS LUCARIO. Lucario can predict opponents moves by reading their auras and that is just so like her. Cass and a Lucario would be best friends. They would spar together and just get each other so much. She'd also be an absolute tiger mom trainer to all her pokemon.

Damian, like Steph, has a non-traditional team. He has the pokemon equivalent of his pets. (Noivern as Goliath. Miltank as Batcow. Houndoom as Titus. Meowscarada or Persian as Alfred the Cat.)

Duke is electric. I will straight up admit this is just to match the yellow/black aesthetic he has as Signal. I'm thinking Jolteon, luxray, morpeko, manectric, toxtricity, and killowattrel.

are there any ice-types that can do well in warm environments, or is it always a requirement for one to have somewhere cold to retreat to?

really the only one i can think of is fridge-form rotom, as their ice typing is sort of insular. ice type pokemon on the whole are evolved for an extreme environment, and in doing so they've given up on survivability in other environments. some of these pokemon- like cubchoo- can survive outside of their environment provided that they're given access to cool areas, but others- such as cryogonal- are unable to survive longterm.

interestingly, galarian darmanitan falls into the latter category, despite its unique ice/fire typing in its zen mode. its zen mode is a temporary state triggered by stress hormones, and being in too warm of an environment for an extended period of time can actually trigger it. that can help them survive in hot weather in the short term, but long term the stress will shorten their lifespan.

Akari using her Pokémon Go experience to throw Pokéballs in Very Specific ways and somehow finding out that it is, indeed, more effective that way! Maybe her real world gaming experience can help her out!

She gets supremely frustrated when she realizes she has no way to check a Pokémon’s ability, AND she doesn’t know how she can raise/breed eggs so there’s no point LOOKING for a Pokémon with flame body!!! Also incubators definitely don’t exist, although she’s not sure that matters because in the console games you don’t need one, but STILL. 

Rotom quickly become her favorite Pokémon when she realizes they can possess the modern appliances from the Ginkgo Guild and actually make them WORK. Finally... a FRIDGE. 

She grows so painfully attached to all the Pokémon she catches and raises and is like. I can’t go back home with these creatures the government would take them away from me and dissect them. But I don’t wanna LEAVE them they’re my BABIES. But also MODERN TECHNOLOGY PLEASE?!

She absolutely demands to go to Ingo’s time after she’s done, and she demands ALL of her Pokémon pals come with her because she loves them with her whole heart and cannot stand the idea of leaving them. Arceus is like,,, yeah okay, I don’t see why not.

Her and Ingo in the modern Pokémon world and Ingo slowly realizing hey this girl... doesn’t seem to recognize a lot of the stuff here? Was she not from this time??? Did he accidentally kidnap a child through time??????

He asks if she’s going to reunite with her family and she’s like huh??? I don’t have family here lmao I GOT my family and it’s my Pokémon. Anyways I’m gonna explore this new world, deuces! 

Ingo’s like. Well fuck I gotta file adoption papers now. Take responsibility for the child he might have just kidnapped.
