If OG means original, we need to go way back to 2004 and the Taiwan movie Formula 17. It's definitely QL in the original sense, queer story made by women for women. Very campy and fun.

Tien (Tony Yang) goes from country to city to find love only to find his internet friend just seeks a hookup. Tien bails only to wind up crashing at his friend Yu's. Yu helps Tien get started in Taipei. Tien falls for playboy Bai Tien Nan (Duncan Chow) despite the warnings of his roomies that Bai discards playmates like used tissues. Of course, misunderstandings and romance ensue.

There's a couple scenes I love which are told in the style of Chinese opera.

There's are other Asian queer films from that era - in 2006 Taiwan gave us Eternal Summer - but this is the one I love most and the one that most falls into the QL category (as opposed to a gay film) back when the two categories had clearer boundaries between one another.
