I want to talk about THIS scene:

I imagine that Alastor was gone for a few days, licking his wounds and panicking.

During those days, while they fixed up the hotel, Husk likely hoped that Alastor didn’t make. He toyed with the idea of freedom.

Imagine Husk and Angel staying up late talking about it. He has doubts but lets himself hope a little. They could make plans for the future and scheme how to get Angel out of his deal. Maybe even reopen his old casino. It would probably bring them even closer together.

Then when Alastor shows back up, you see Husk’s face drop. He is disappointed but not surprised. Then he joins the group hug. THAT to me says “I love them more than I hate you.” (Alastor makes eye contact with both him and Lucifer. Trying to cling to what power he has.)

Husk knows that getting out of his deal is a slim chance, but he let himself hope.

on twitter, a viral thread started where people around the world shared their translations of “If I must die”, the last work of Dr Refaat Alareer also known as "the voice of Gaza". A beloved poet, teacher and life-long activist for Palestine, he was recently assassinated along with members of his extended family by a targeted Israeli air strike. His loss leaves a hole in the heart of palestinians all over the world.

I'll kill for huskerdust to have non-sexual intimacy on the line of Angel asking Husk to help him get dressed for a show and that includes lacing up and tightening the corset of his outfit, zipping up his dress, careful touches to not rip anything of the delicate fabric with his sharp claws, just sitting on the edge of Angel's bed watching as he gets ready at the vanity in his room.

Angel in turn has Husk lie down on his stomach on his bed at the end of the day, one pair of hands massaging his back, the second pair fixing the loose and askew feathers on his wings and the last two brushing his hair and petting his ears just to get that answering rumbling purr like the engine of a jet.

if Vaggie used to have a little backpain from her lost wings and Charlie got in the habit of giving back rubsies before bed only now the wings have returned through the power of gay love and it's past midnight in the hotel with the residents (supposedly) trying to be kinda quiet at the bar so the two can sleep (and not come storming down to threaten everyone with a spear) but then suddenly in the silence there's this singular SHRIEK of laughter, and even more shocking (terrifying?) is it sounded like Vaggie, everyone downstairs freezes as a door slams open and hooves clip clop frantically down the upper halls and then Charlie's leaning over the staircase bannister yelling DID YOU KNOW WINGS ARE VERY SENSITIVE AND KINDA TICKLISH AT THE BASE!??!? ANYWAY EVERYONE HAVE A GOOD NIGHT I KNOW I WILL!!! before racing back to her and Vaggie's room, their door slams shut as everyone stares blankly into the abyss of knowledge except Husk who's pouring them all a drink and Angel Dust who's looking thoughtfully at husk

in the morning husk baps vaggie over the head with a shot glass for dooming them both and then pours her a drink too in commiseration
