btw in the tmagp launch celebratory stream alice's voice actor said her favorite scene that'd been recorded by that point was "alice and sam go to a place". so i suppose we'll be getting that next week :]

other notes. this statement (hey! actually a statement this time! what the fuck) was SOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

the cursed dice angle is so good, the way the statement giver took on that role (roll), played the part, UGH it's so fun. the theme of choice that was brought up is also so good- just. ONE more roll for old time's sake :) especially given that this is a TMI statement and how HUGE IMPORTANT of a theme choice and free will were in tma, felt very fitting. fantastic, loved that.

continuing on my stuff about the entities in tmagp- once again some things here feel very on the nose, particularly the statement giver literally calling himself a mysterious stranger. this feels like a fun little red herring to me, for people a bit hung up on the entities stuff. that's how i interpreted it, anyways. i wanna know more about this world so fucking bad, dude.

also, the institute's in manchester in tmagp, not chelsea/london. which means no milbank prison, no panopticon. interesting. (though soemthing that was known from the arg already- i really need to deep dive on that. tomorrow, maybe.) statement taking and artifact storage are still a thing, evidently, but noting that there's no mention of an archivist or anything like that. and the subject/agent/catalyst stuff, that's Very interesting.

once again, chester bringing up a magnus-related statement, here in obvious reply to what sam was talking about- just when he was considering to celia about dropping his investigations- clearly (imo) to goad him into not leaving it behind. excellent. and fun given the first TMI-related incident with redcanary had the obvious conclusion of THE MAGNUS INSTITUTE IS WEIRD AND DANGEROUS while also having enough mystery to draw sam in further. sam's seen the canary die in the coalmine and has made the decision to keep digging and that's fantastic.

now! characters! sam's paperwork :) VERY intriguing that he's getting all this stuff and celia's got none of it- he said it was due to that box about the response department, but i've got my doubts about that being the reason he's being saddled with all this weird stuff. also the questions on the thing made me laugh, very good. sam and celia have such good interactions, i love how they bounce off each other. also, with regards to the paperwork- i think there's a connection to be made about the statement giver's continued rolling of the dice (it always felt like my choice.) and sam filling out all this creepy, utterly pointless paperwork to "refuse to give it the satisfaction of giving up".

GWEN AND LENA. nigel dickerson, you know, from tv? possibly. i don't watch television. i do hope we'll be seeing exactly what gwen is being told to do next episode.. delivering something, keeping calm, recording the detailed reactions to what's being delivered. maybe we'll get a bit more of a clue as to what the oair is actually for. i do like that gwen's not become one bit less indignant, skeptical, and disrespectful towards lena now that she's got this job. i'm very excited to see her on her fist job she's gonna suck at it i think

i'll admit i was a little surprised to see teddy again. i was worried for a sec he might be going in the direction of getting dragged back to the oair, but nah. not yet, at least :) and ALICE. ALIIIIICE auaaaaagh!!! i don't know if i have much to say baout this part that isn't just (shaking a plushie in my mouth like a dog). very neat that she has agreed to help sam investigate this and actually go to the institute when she's been so staunchly don't get caught up in the creepy stuff! leave the magnus institute stuff ALONE you don't want to get into this spooky shit! like.. she does not want to get involved with spooky shit and she doesn't want sam to get involved with spooky shit but she cares about him and their friendship a lot and this is obviously important to him. so. (plus, the thing about alice's brother having been at the institute alongside sam and gerry..) i like them both so much. i am so excited for next weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek

grew up an orphan in venice, italy: lost his parents in an accident - he isn't really sure ?! he was way too young to remember, and if that's what the people from the orphanage told him, that's what he'll believe !!

speaking of, that orphanage was BUTT CHEEKS!

the second people there figured out that he was an anomaly, they moved his room to the attic, where luo was destined to spend most of his time.

he would essentially stay in there all day, and only be allowed down once everyone was asleep (which meant that he would have teachers who taught him at night)

so luo made friends with the ghosts of the orphanage.

he could already see them and hear them anyways, so! it's not like he had a choice!

while his stay at the orphanage was designed for him to have the worst time possible, these years were the happiest years of his life

his uncle is the one who was able to legally adopt him and bring him to seoul, south korea.

his uncle owns an antique shop where luo works during the weekend. it also doubles as a shop for anomalies (it's hidden in the basement).

luo loves and would die for his uncle. they have the best relationship!!!!!!!!! he is happy :)

because of his upbringing, he can be very: naive, gullible, sooo eager to please. like you could tell him that you like that one snack only available at the other side of the city during a very specific time frame of the day.

and he would show up the next day with it for you.

"did you seriously go all the way there just for a snack?!"

"oh, it was nothing!" (it took him three hours, he got lost twice.)

because of his upbringing, he can be very: blunt, honest to a fault, terrible at picking up social cues. he doesn't do it to be mean, if anything, he will say it how it is with a big smile and such cheerful energy, it often confuses a lot of people

he isn't particularly liked by the common crowd. labeled as the weird kid his whole life, he finds that it's a status that seems to follow him everywhere.

his main friend right now is @seriphic , though he has been recently introduced to @ofmays and @huitians.

he already met tian beforehand, but that's a story for another day. maybe he's crushing a little.

She knew who it was, but she couldn't face him. Elias's face fell as Metaron looked at their partner, her face and arms covered in bandages as she looked down. The bouquet of flowers, her favorite ones was in his arms as he slowly walked over. She felt tears well up in her eyes and gripped her blanket. They shouldn't be here. They hate her, they're going to leave her, they're just here to say goodbye cause this is all her fault. But she felt his hand and hers. His voice next to her speaking softly. " Honey? Please, just look at me." Meta watched as Carol then threw herself into Elias's arms, curling into his chest and sobbed. He smiled as Eli hugged her back and kissed her head softly, telling her that she's ok. James was ok, he's been wanted to see her but that can wait.

Tiam stared in horror at the abomination a few tables away from him. His face normally white already now he looks like he's about to turn invisible. This.........couldn't be real. It wasn't. Sure he's seen much more but this? This was an act made to spite God. This was suppose to be just a simple humble bowl of ramen. With its thinly sliced pork belly and runny egg........but no. What he saw wasn't ramen......it was a monster. The rim of the bowl was lined with thick jiggly cuts of pork belly but there was also tempura, a hamburg steak, little octopus sausages, kimchi, whole eggs, fried pork cutlets, fried chicken, takoyaki, croquettes, all drenched in a mixture of tonkatsu sauce, mayo and sriracha. It was a literal mountain. He looked at her lick her lips and then to her partner. That really tall guy he's seen before as she lifted a helping with her chopsticks, gettting a fried octopus ball covered in sauce and noodles before slurping it down. Oh god..........oh sweet merciful god. "It's so gooooooooooooooood~!!!!" She squeals, taking more crunchy slurps until she looked to Prometheus. "You gotta try this!!" They weren't going to, They're insane................but they did. He ate the noodles with an entire egg and oh god is that an onion ring? After a few munches and swallowing he heard they say it. "That tasted pretty good actually." He wants to die.
