Yall want to know what I find embarrassing?
People who fall for rage bait online. Attention is the current currency and some people online will say the most inflammatory thing, and hide it behind ignorance just to get a rise out of people bc they know it’s going to shared, liked, commented on, and stitched into oblivion. Driving up their engagement and paying them big bucks.
When I was In junior high/middle school I moved to a new state and was being bullied by the ppl around me bc as a black girl I didn’t present a certain kind of way. I was flat, and lanky, I didn’t have loose 3c curls down my back, I was dark skin, and I “spoke white”. One thing I learned was to ignore them. While the dumbasses around them laughed at their very unoriginal takes, I minded my business. I turned to my friends and started conversation, I stopped telling the teachers and the guidance counselors about my problems bc they didn’t do anything, and I just let these ppls failures speak for itself.
After a little bit they started to become comical. They were always in drama, and never did their work on time or right but they had it in them to bother me. Like bitch you think I’m bout to sit here and waste my energy arguing with you?! I guess I must have started radiating that superiority complex bc they reduced bothering me.
It’s ok to believe you’re too good to be involved in the argument/debate/conversation. It’s even better when you understand that the person/people you’re arguing with have no intention of learning anything. Your attention is their reward and once you stop giving them attention watch how their inflammatory behavior ceases to exist.
Just keep calm and carry on.
Here’s some things I saved to my Pinterest board last night.

5 Benefits of Emotional Quotient (EQ) at the Workplace
While traits like perseverance and self-discipline are essential in a workplace, skills like emotional quotient cannot be ignored. You’ve possibly heard a lot about IQ, an abbreviation for intelligence quotient. It is linked with how intelligent an individual is thought to be.
On the other hand, emotional quotient meaning is a person’s ability to discover, use, and manage emotions efficiently. People exhibiting emotional intelligence are calm and composed even in pressurizing conditions. When you think a person has high EQ, they are the person who can empathize with other people, keeping their emotions in check during stressful situations.
Emotional Intelligence
While intelligence is a person’s capability to learn things and apply wisdom to solve problems, EQ is the ability to recognize your emotions and work on them to handle the world around you.
Significant components of high EQ:
Social skills: gaining awareness of others and efficiently interacting with them by listening, speaking, and engaging, making others feel warm and welcome.
Empathy: It is the capability to understand someone without judgment.
Motivation: It drives self-growth and development.
Self-regulation: Handling your emotions and thinking before reacting is self-regulation.
Self-awareness: It is about understanding how to react to situations and how they will affect others.

Importance of emotional intelligence in success
While innovation and optimism are essential for success, emotional intelligence is closely linked with success.
As per the World Economic Forum, emotional intelligence comes in the top ten skills needed for success in 2020. People don’t value success in monetary terms but also emotional intelligence.
Benefits of emotional intelligence in work
It is common for offices to offer employees personality tests to determine what role suits them the best. But personality tests don’t assess EQ.
Knowing the EQ of employees helps companies understand how an employee may manage their emotions and stress and deal with clients and colleagues.
A person with high EQ may:
Understand colleagues and empathize with them
Know the right way to interact with them
Understand the right ways to meet deadlines
Take criticism positively and improve according to feedback
Be open to adjustments and improve performance at the Workplace
EQ and leadership
Like success, emotional quotient is also linked with efficient leadership, like transparent interaction and confidence. A higher emotional quotient works well for leadership.
For managers and leaders, EQ is necessary for the following:
Understanding and interacting with colleagues
Encouraging teams and employees
Ensuring workers are engaged and interested in their work
Increase empathy
A major facet of the emotional quotient is being more empathetic by acknowledging different perspectives. Listening to stories made by people in other circumstances can enrich your emotional intelligence.
EQ assesses a person's positive response and capability to recognize and understand other people's emotions. While EQ was ignored in the past, it is not commonly recognized as a significant part of a person’s trait.
It is beneficial in the Workplace, especially when handling stress and working with others. It is beneficial for leaders who manage teams, management, and employees.
EQ doesn’t come easily for people, but it can be cultivated by enhancing self-awareness and empathy.

also reading erotic romance makes me crazier than regular romances bc i don’t just want to be in love with someone who is physically here with me i also want to be fuckijg that person aksjd there is something kind of inherently romantic in letting someone else not just take control of a situation but also actually handing them the power to physically hurt me, sit there and do nothing while they hurt me, and just trust they’ll stop before it goes too far from erotic pain and into actual pain, then still trusting them enough to curl up with them after. and if u get a good erotic romance, it’s often specifically about testing the edges of where those lines are, while dealing with a whole lot of plot that is stressful, and learning to face it together.
anyways i’m really lonely lmao
