Vil: it's either Rook told him or he figured it out on his own before Rook told him. Even if twst wasn't meant to be a dating sim with love, he will turn zero into something like he's always done. He will by any means do his utmost and his best to pursue you all while being himself. He cherishes the moments you have alone when he's giving you advice on how to take care of your skin. The small and soft lingering touches when he teaches you how to apply moisturizer correctly.

Rook: Okay, he's bound to find out twst isn't a dating sim. He's a sharp guy. Even with the knowledge of knowing twst isn't a dating sim, it isn't going to stop him from pursuing you. He himself finds this situation funny with how many hearts you've captured even with twst not supposedly being capable of that. Oh? How did you know he was watching you? You could feel him? Oh dear trickster you sure do know how to pull his heart strings.

Floyd(2): Good luck once again. I couldn't decide whether he knew or not. But! Same situation regardless. Instead, tho, he's a bit more.... more him? He's gonna find this all so much more hilarious and funny.

Promise Me This (Kaorijaku x Jin Itadori)

Writing this was…honestly a fever dream. I did NOT mean for Jin to be this unhinged, JESUS CHRIST. 1. You know.. headcanon-ing Simon's face is kinda fun cause his face is hidden :D Everyone can put their own thoughts in the mix. I thiink when MWIII is out, imma do a part 2 on Simon's face. Anyway, I remember that first photo (left) was on reddit, extracted from MWII files somewhere last year. It was already said that the hair was from Graves(?) and put on his head. I also think it's either a placeholder or not finished since they've only used his 3D head for mask placement and the scene where he takes of the mask and we (only) see his fluffy short hair. It really wouldn't be a surprise if Simon's (face) features are alot of that from his VA, Samuel Roukin. I've seen every frame multiple times by now *edit life* and to me, it really looks like Simon has Roukin's eye shape and nose(for the most part). I loove the fact the devs stayed true to Simon's brown eyes *-* So what else did they stay true to? Or is it completely Roukin's face? We might never know :P But personally for me it's still 50/50. Half Roukin's face/ half comic Simon's face. Ok ok, maybe now more like 70/30. idc, just show me. No, don't! Yes!

2. Ooff, good question. I wonder if he uses public transport since he also can drive. (i'd rather take the car thn the bus ngl :P). At the end of the campaign with 141 and Laswell sitting in a bar, Simon still has his eye paint and mask on. Though be it another mask thn that he was wearing during the Chicago mission. So that makes me believe he conceals his face in his free time (outside), i'm not exactly sure how tho cause wearing a skull mask like that in public might alarm ppl? idk. I kinda lean more to the idea he isn't that among people much (being outside). If he already prefers to work alone than in a team (141 is a no brainer for him tho, imo) i don't really see him being out and about and social in his off time Q_Q And with all this online ordering, he gucci. But okok, i do see him do groceries and stuff. You know, basic stuff. He will have alot of hooded clothes, caps and what not. Corona must've been a 'delight' for him. (ok ill stop. sorry) I think he barely makes eyecontact, or just shortly cause he's friendly. He a good lad. Srsly don't waste your time on this next hc; You know.. what if he just lives in a very small village somewhere quiet in England where everyone knows eachother and he don't have to worry about all that outside shii cause everyone in that small village knows how he is. Easy peasy, live and let live. Often people in small villages are old cause many young move to the city. So them golden oldies in his town are just happy they have a soldier in their midst and respect his privacy. Buut.. thn again, the bigger the city.. the easier it is to blend. Oh well. Whatever XD 3. I THINK HE'S REALLY GOOD WITH KIDS! But doesn't show, is scared to show, etc etc all that. I even think if a kid is being bullied in his presence he would intervine. I'm sure of it. THE OWL HOUSE HAS A CHARACTER PROBLEM!

And when I say this, I don't basically talk about Lilith's not existing rushed character arc (srsly, that woman was literally evil a few episodes ago but suddenly became Luz's goofy cool aunt without any development???)

Or it's not about the show neglecting characters like Raine, Darius and of course, Gus... (The show was just too busy with giving Hunter & Amity too much screen time than they actually needed tho)

NO, it's not about those things... yet (But really, we should talk about it all sometime)

Today's topic is how characters act differently than the way they're introduced. So, let's start without wasting any more time!

1-) Alador Blight

It's strongly hinted in the show that Alador was forced to work overtime because of Odalia. And from Odalia's perspective, it had 2 benefits for her.

1-) Obviously the more Alador worked, the more money they would gain. And since Odalia is a greedy and superficial b!tch, there's nothing she would enjoy more than money.

2-) The absolute control of her kids. Since Alador was tired and sleep-deprived all the time, he had no energy left to take care of his kids or even himself. Which caused him to neglect Edric, Emira and Amity, much to Amity's annoyance.

And with Alador being absent in their life; Edric, Emira and Amity were in Odalia's mercy. And because there's no other parent around, the poor kids were forced to live up to their mother's extremely high expectations and tried to please her all the time.

And it's also hinted that Odalia favored Edric and Emira and gave them some extra privileges due to their physical similarity to her (yes, I'm talking about green hair). And she subtly encouraged Edric and Emira to mock and bully Amity. So it's safe to say that Odalia was the one who created their sibling rivalry in the first place.

(tho let's be honest, "But teacher I'm in love with a dictionary!" & "I'm studying dork arts!" will always be iconic😂)

And it all makes sense, because isolating victims is a very common tactic of abusers, especially the control freaks like Odalia. Leaving Alador exhausted all the time, favoring her golden twins and treating Amity like a scapegoat worked well for her.

But hold up!

I said Alador, then why am I talking about Odalia?

There's nothing wrong in the way her character is written. She was a b!tch from the start and was still a b!tch at the end.

HOWEVER, there's this big issue...

It's said in the show that Alador loved his kids and wanted to spend more time with them. That's why he was a threat for Odalia's authority.

But the Alador we know from "Understanding Willow" wasn't like that all.

Not only his appearance, but his whole attitude was different as well. He was seen to be strict and controlling towards Amity as much as his wife. So why did Odalia feel the need to keep him busy then if he shared the same ruthless attitude with her??

Because at this point, it's no longer about Alador or Odalia, it's about the show. Just check out these pictures. These are the storyboard pictures with dialogues that has been cut from the show (probably in order to make Alador look softer in the process)

The show changed Alador's character drastically for... literally no reason? When he made his first real appearance, I was like "Hold up- this doesn't look like the big bad guy I was expecting" But it wasn't a nice surprise for me. Because it's never revealed why the series changed his character entirely. It didn't make any sense.

And in "Watching and Dreaming", we've seen Alador's epilogue design. And he had a somewhat clean appearance. Which hints that he had a nasty appearance earlier due to working overtime, but since he was free of Odalia's pressure now, he could spend more time on his personal appearance.

But the thing is, in "Understand Willow", he already had a clean and formal appearance (at least he seemed so from his silhouette). So it still leaves a question mark in the head why Odalia made him work overtime anyway.

And as I mentioned, the storyboard Alador was much colder and scarier too, just look at Amity's face.

Even the storyboards were like that. So at this point, I have no explanation for Alador's character change (No, I don't call it character development because there was no development)

Alador isn't the only example of this sudden character changes that makes no sense. Hunter, Collector and Lilith are other examples for this (I'll be analyzing them soon) But so far, this is all I say for Alador for now.
