At long last, this picture is finished! I worked several months on this, trying to push myself to finally incorporate some more interesting perspective angles and landscapes into my works.

This is a little visual preview of what's going on in my writing right now. Currently working on my second manuscript featuring Demetra, "Prophet's Grave". It seems she's left the comforts of the capital city Cheienna and ended up... well, where exactly? And what new challenges will she face there?

The third fairy is Flora. She is a fairy of nature. And accordingly, I immediately compared her with Demeter, who is the goddess of the harvest and agriculture, presiding over crops, grains, food, and the fertility of the earth. Demeter's attributes are sheaves of wheat or corn, baskets of flowers and fruits symbolizing the wealth and fertility of the earth, as well as poppies - symbols of sleep and death. According to legends, Demeter was the first of the earthly beings to harness a bull to a plow and plow a field. Then she threw oat seeds into the soil. People who watched the goddess's actions were sure that the grains would rot in the ground under heavy rains. But, contrary to their expectations, friendly oat seedlings appeared above the surface of the plowed field. Later, Demeter taught people how to take care of crops.

Sergey Ushanka propaganda:

(Unclear how much of the history I'm about to give here is true and how much is in-universe urban legend.) Sergey Ushanka was a Russian programmer in the 80s who fell ill with a deadly brain disease. In order to save himself from brain death, Sergey decided to digitize himself… and went about it in a much more violent way than you might think. Cue lines of code written in blood and fed into the machine and a brain violently shoved inside of a PC tower. Impossibly, due to the interference of an eldritch deity that preys on people's fear of technology and being replaced, his plan succeeded, and he did achieve a digital form… of pure unadulterated suffering. His human mind couldn't handle the rigidity of computer code, and now he spends his days stalking the internet, forcing those he encounters to bear witness to the indescribable torment he experiences.

Demetra propaganda:

Demetra is a program designed to deceive players of Game Over, a virtuality reality-based video game secretly created to mind control children. Interestingly, she's aware she isn't real ("I'm sorry, Juni, but it's in my programming"), is capable of expressing her own emotions (she sheds a tear while betraying the main protagonist), and can act against her directive (she helps him and his companions escape the trap she leads them into).

Chieti

LA CIVITELLA

Situata nella parte più alta della città, sul colle di Teate.

Civitella significa fortezza perché su questo colle venne costruita per esigenze di difesa una grande fortezza con castello e caserma. Oggi sono rimaste soltanto le mura e una torretta.

Solo in tempi recenti si è scoperto, a seguito dei lavori per lo stadio del Chieti calcio lì situato, un vero e proprio museo a cielo aperto che viaggia tra epoche differenti come strati di rocce che raccontano diverse ere. Anni e anni prima lì non venivano applauditi calciatori ma squadre di gladiatori infatti la Civitella sorge là dove si trovava una struttura dell'epoca imperiale romana l’anfiteatro della città e prima ancora una necropoli dell'età italica e ancora prima un insediamento risalente all'età del bronzo.

I TRE TEMPLI

Sono stati scoperti 3 templi e parte dei relativi frontoni e meteope decorati in terracotta da svastiche, cornucopie e foglie. In particolare è stato rinvenuto il Campidoglio di Teate adornato da statue di divinità e muse e le ante fisse raffiguranti Demetra persiana (Diana) e Ercole a riposo, per la cui realizzazione sono stati usati degli stampi in posizioni differenti.

Ercole è il semidio della forza usata però con saggezza, mentre Demetra persiana è la dea della natura e delle fiere, incarna la potenza femminile pertanto è la dea delle donne caste cioè delle donne indipendenti che non soggiaciono alle richieste, all'arroganza e alla violenza del maschio. Demetra inoltre aveva un albero sacro il noce, quindi la sua raffigurazione per i cristiani era un simbolo demoniaco considerandola una strega.

NEOLITICO

In quest'era l'uomo da cacciatore diventa agricoltore e inizia a lavorare e decorare la terracotta per contenere e conservare le provviste.

Ritrovamento della Grotta dei Piccioni dimora degli uomini primitivi, poi divenuto santuario.

L'OFFERENTE DI RAPINO

Statuetta raffigurante una donna che porta in offerta un piattino su cui figurano delle spighe.

CAPPELLA DI UN LIBERTO E I GIOCHI DEI GLADIATORI

Lusius Storax era un liberto diventato poi seviro, sulla sua cappella funebre ha fatto rappresentare in maniera realistica l'organizzazione dei giochi dei gladiatori, dalle trombe che suonano ai gladiatori che combattono in squadre.
