911 s7 concept: chimney is EXHAUSTED. after returning from his vacation, bobby has strong-armed chimney into not only taking on more of a leadership role at work but taking a course intended for preparing first responders for upper management roles. does bobby seriously not know that chimney is planning a WEDDING??
and AT work, bobby is barely stepping in on calls, delegating beautifully, but taking noticeably less risks than he ever has before.
buck, famously incapable of leaving bobby alone, decides there is something very wrong and he must figure it out. he takes his concerns to hen who, also exhausted on account of having a baby at home, goes “he’s probably just taking a step back he did ALMOST DIE on the job not too long ago. he might be thinking about retiring…”
queue shenanigans- including a very overworked chimney and hen, and buck keeping weird meticulous track of bobby’s every move. after a few episodes of this going on in the background, everyone has come to terms with the idea of bobby retiring due to the overpass collapse. buck has calmed down (realizing bobby retiring would not mean he would never see him again) and chimney has figured out how to manage his schedule in a way that doesn’t make him want to be impaled a 300th time.
and then, for the first time, the audience sees a scene from the cruise. but it is not what we expected…
bobby had a cardiac arrest while on vacation. and he still hasn’t told the team.

Ah, classic Seiga. He has no idea what 'cheating' is, but... He'll just let it slide.
"S-Seiga, you're kind of creeping me out... All I've just asked is to check my body and getting a magazine... It'll be really weird if I... or rather, 'Flan', just walks in. My mom will have lots of questions if some freaky vampire girl comes to look for her son."
Not to mention Flan's outfit is... well, not something you see in the Modern world. His wings will stand out for sure, and people would be TERRIFIED.
Not to mention... for some reason, his body is... shaking. Afraid? Perhaps so.
"I... I don't know. Seiga... you know something, don't you? Tell me straight, did... did I die? Am I... stuck here?"
The eyes are appearing again. He... doesn't want to succumb into blowing things up. Again.

Someone write a Quarry fanfic from the POV of the poor hapless detective who gets assigned this case and has to try to make sense of the evidence and the counselors’ statements. The forensics alone would be absolutely bonkers. Has someone done that? I don’t wanna do it, it’s not my genre. But I want to read it.

Every court scene on SVU
Defense Attorney: Miss. Micheals is it true that when you were five you stole a dollar from your mother’s purse to feed a starving homeless man
Victim: Yes
Defense Attorney: So as a dirty little thief, wouldn’t you agree that you deserved to be set on fire and thrown off a cliff?
