So...it's been a while everyone.

In this fancomic, we have Edward and Senku playing YGGDRASIL (ユグドラシル Yugudorashiru), a DMMO-RPG (Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) from the Overlord light novel series.

Aside from marveling over the advanced technology that allows people to upload their minds in a virtual world, the two of them are enjoying the wonders of role-playing as the heteromorphic race and seeing the entire realm of YGGDRASIL had to offer with plenty of missions and customizing items and weapons...so long as they can avoid encountering Human Race Players who are PKing those of the heteromorphic race.

Overlord

So there's this MMO called Yggdrasil. BOO! HISS! MMOS ARE THE DEVIL!

Anyway, it's actually a DMMO. Think Sword Art Online.

ANYWAY. So the main character Momonga (isn't that like, a squirrel?) who is the guild leader for the guild Ainz Ooal Gown, which is this group of friends who pretend to be evil, so all their NPCs are designed to be evil. Except for Sebas, who was designed by Mononga's friend Touch Me which is a very normal name for someone to have probably. And their guild base is called the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

ANYWAY ANYWAY. So Yggdrasil is shutting down its servers for good because reasons and Momonga is hanging out waiting for the last minute before the servers shut down for good and then he and the entire Great Tomb and all the NPCs in it get randomly isekaied to a fantasy world that operates on RPG mechanics because other reasons.

And all the NPCs aren't NPCs anymore but are all living beings now. And as mentioned, evil. They consider humanity to be worthless lower life forms, which is just rude.

Anyway, then Ainz's right hand woman, whose name is Albedo. Anyway, she's really pretty and graceful, but underneath she's a bitch (their words, not mine), so back in Yggdrasil, as a joke Momonga changed her settings so that instead of being a bitch she's madly in love with him and now in the new world she wants to jump his literal bones (Mononga is a skeleton man) but also so does the vampire loli, Shalltear Bloodfallen (he didn't change her settings, her creator was just a freak) so now they hate eachother because they are both in love with Momonga.

Then rounding out the cast are Aura and Mare who are elves and also crossdressers, then there's Cocytus, an icy bug man, and last but not least, Demiurge, who is some kind of demon guy.

Anyway, middle middle middle then Momonga goes to save a village from a bunch of radiers and then middle middle middle middle this guy named Gazeff fights some angels middle middle middle Momonga changes his name to Ainz Ooal Gown. Oh I forgot to mention that Momonga/Ainz is like super OP as shit in the new world, so he runs roughshod over everyone, even beating trained warriors in melee combat despite being a caster. It's kinda dumb but also kinda interesting.

Anyway it's on netflix. There's several seasons out already, but only the first one is available on netflix right now. Might have to look into a...completely legitimate site...to watch the other seasons on.

Because of corporate greed, Momonga lost a friend and worse he comes to believe he was abandoned by said friend. For that alone he was assassinated to keep his lips sealed which gives you a hint that maybe he didn't quit the game and would have remained with Momonga. As recently revealed in Vol 13, Bellriver learned some information about the Megacorporations that ruled the world Ainz originally came from, which they did not want anyone to know.In episode 11, Albedo tearfully breaks down when a thoughtless remark from Ainz gives her the impression that he will also abandon them. Even Demiurge is rather pitiable since he is terrified of the prospect of being left without a Supreme Being to serve. One of the reasons they are so loyal to Momonga is precisely because he did not abandon them unlike the other Supreme Beings. The denizens of Nazarick are mostly a bunch of depraved monsters, but it's hard not to pity them for their abandonment issues.Whenever something good does come his way, he winds up paying a big price for it later, all through no fault of his own. Climb's entire life is just one big tragedy.The world kicked him down before he even had the chance to stand up. Living in such a bleak world with no way to improve his situation, it's easy to see why he's such a misanthrope. His parents died in a work related accident and he received nearly nothing in compensation and was only able to get an elementary school education, which is only enough to become a corporate slave. Ulbert's life is arguably even worse! He was born into the lower class and the laws of the world of 2138 are set up so that the poor can never rise out of their poverty no matter what.Ainz sees each of them as a part of his old friends, which drives home even further just how close they all were to each other, and just how much Ainz misses them. Crosses into Heartwarming territory, but the moment just after Shalltear's resurrection shows how much he misses his fellow Guild Members: when the other Guardians start berating Shalltear for her betrayal, Ainz sits back and lightly chuckles as he sees the shadows of his former comrades in place of the Floor Guardians.Really, this is not living, this is domestication. Apparently, his diet consist of flavored protein shakes supplemented by vitamin pills. This is further reinforced by small details regarding how he 'takes care' of himself.To have it all slip away shows that in the end of Yggdrasil, the man who would become Ainz had truly lost just about everything. In a world of horrid pollution, brutal capitalist oppression of the lower classes, corporate assassinations, and DMMO-RPGs being considered a preferable alternative to reality, Ainz Ooal Gown was likely Satoru's one and only joy in life as a Salaryman, a position already in real life considered to be soul crushing. It gets worse when you finally learn the kind of world Ainz left behind.While it's understandable to the readers, for someone like Ainz who lived for YGGDRASIL, one can only imagine how depressed he felt. The feels don't start until you find out that his guild eventually disbanded save for a few individuals and during the game's final day before shutting down for good, only 3 of the 41 members of his old friends even bothered showing up because he requested them to do so. All he had was the guild he and his online friends created and basically dedicated his life towards it with the money he made as a salary man. Ainz's lifestyle in as a whole is one big train wreck in general when you realize that he had no friends and family not even a girlfriend.Warning: Spoilers Off applies to this page. Surprisingly for such a dark and pessimistic series, you'll probably be finding yourself reaching for the nearest cloth to wipe the tears out of your eyes.

A Sneak Peek

In the year 2138 AD there was a term: DMMO-RPG. That word was an acronym for “Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game”. It was a revolutionary new way to play games that used virtual reality and nano-technology. Among the myriad DMMO-RPGs that thronged the market, one of them stood head and shoulders above the others: YGGDRASIL.

That game had been painstakingly developed and released twelve years ago, in 2126.

Compared to other DMMO-RPGs of the time, YGGDRASIL’s selling point was player freedom; it had over two thousand basic and advanced job classes.

Every class had a maximum of fifteen levels, and so in order to reach the overall level cap of one hundred, one would need to take at least seven different classes. However, players could take as many classes as they wanted as long as they met each class’s prerequisites. A player could even take a hundred classes at level one each. As such, in that system, it was exceedingly difficult to make identical characters unless one was deliberately trying to do so.

One could use various creator tools (sold separately) to fully customize one’s armor, weaponry, flavor text, appearance, and other cosmetic settings. A vast playing field awaited its players. There were nine worlds in total: Asgard, Alfheim, Vanaheim, Nidavellir, Midgard, Jotunheim, Niflheim, Helheim, and Muspelheim.

In essence, YGGDRASIL boasted a massive world, numerous classes, and freely customizable appearances.

It was inevitable that it would skyrocket in popularity and infinite the muses of millions of creative players.

Of course… that was all in the past now.

A gigantic table carved of gleaming black stone sat in the center of a luxurious room, surrounded by forty two chairs. Of all of those chairs, only three were occupied.

One of the seated attendees was clothed in a magnificent black academic robe edged in violet and gold. The collar was excessively gaudy, but it still melded well with the overall design. The person’s head was exposed, revealing a bare skill. Points of dark red lights glowed in its large eye sockets. Behind that skull pulsed a halo of black radiance.

Further down the table was a being that was not human either, merely a mass of black, sticky substance. Its tar-like surface roiled and writhed continuously, never staying in shape for more than second.

At the very end was a person who at a glance could pass as human, if not for the pointed ears and wings at their back. That person wore magnificent priestess robes of silver and blue. Its halo at the back of its head illuminated its long curly white-blonde hair.

The first attendant at the table was an Overlord, the highest-ranked of an undead magic-caster. The second was an Elder Black Ooze, which boasted the most powerful corrosive ability of the slime families. The last was a Seraph Empyrean, the highest-ranked of an angel-raced healer.

One might encounter those monsters in the most difficult of dungeons in YGGDRASIL. Overlords could use powerful curses or spells of the highest tiers of magic; Elder Black Oozes were dreaded for their ability to degrade weapons and armor; and Seraph Empyreans were universally despised when found near bosses.

However, they were not game monsters, but players.

In YGGDRASIL, players could choose their character races from three broad groups: humanoid, demihuman, and heteromorphic.

Humanoids were the basic player type and comprised humans, dwarves, wood elves, and the like. Demihumans tended to be ugly, but possessed superior attributes to humanoids. Examples of demihumans were goblins, beastmen, ogres, and so on. Finally, heteromorphic races had monstrous abilities, but despite their stats being generally higher than those of other races, they also possessed various drawbacks. There were around seven hundred playable races in total, including the advanced versions of those races. Naturally, the Overlord, Seraph Empyrean, and Elder Black Ooze were among the high-tier heteromorphic races that were playable.

The Overlord—who was speaking at the moment—did not move his mouth. That was because even the most advanced DMMO-RPGs of the time still could not overcome the technological hurdle of properly modelling the changes on a character’s face in response to emotions and speech.

He spoke in a jovial tone, “It’s really been a while, Herohero. Although this is the last day of YGGDRASIL, we didn’t expect you to show up.”

The slime wobbled. “Indeed it has, Momonga.” The slime nodded in the direction of the Overlord, then at the angel who nodded back in return. “Lumière.”

“How has work been for you?” asked the angel.

The slime sighed, letting loose a small tirade of complaints. Momonga and Lumière listened patiently as their friend vented.

After about ten minutes, the torrent of words that flowed from Herohero dwindled to a trickle.

“...I’m sorry for making you listen to my whining. I can’t complain much IRL.”

“It’s really no worries,” assured Momonga. “We’re happy you were able to come by at all.”

“Ah. It was so nice to see you both after so long. I was afraid to find no one here.” Herohero’s tentacles waved at both of them. “But it is getting late… How long will you two be on?”

“Until we’re automatically logged out once the servers shut down,” answered Lumière.

“Since it’s still a ways off, we might get more visitors like you,” added Momonga.

“Ah. I hope so. I see you both have taken good care of this place.”

Momonga and Lumière did not respond, neither of them wanting to show the surge of mixed emotions Herohero’s words caused.

There were a few more parting words, but eventually, Herohero left and it was only the two remaining members once again. Momonga sighed again and Lumière spared him a glance. Their expressions could not be relayed through their avatars so she sent him a frowny face instead.

The quiet disappointment was understandable. Their guild, Ainz Ooal Gown, had slowly died out over the years as more and more members left the game. In the past two years only Momonga and Lumière regularly logged on. They had sent emails out to the other members of the guild asking for them to join them on the final day, but unfortunately only Herohero responded.

“I’m going back to the tower,” said Lumière. “Meet up later?”

“Yeah. I’ll talk to you in a bit.”

Lumière left after that point, teleporting to the Hidden Tower at the 10th floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

The Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick had once been a six floor dungeon, but it had been dramatically altered after Ainz Ooal Gown took control of it. Currently, it was a ten floor dungeon, and each floor had its own unique theme. The First to Third Floors were modelled after a tomb. The Fourth Floor was an underground lake. The Fifth Floor was a frozen glacier. The Sixth Floor was a rainforest. The Seventh Floor was a sea of magma. The Eighth Floor was a wasteland. And the Ninth and Tenth Floors were the realm of the gods—in other words, the home base of Ainz Ooal Gown, which had ranked among the top ten of YGGDRASIL’s thousands of guilds. In the Tenth Floor there were a few hidden areas, although only one was regularly used—The Hidden Tower.

The entrance was hidden in the Throne Room. It was a tower built by Lumière, Blue Planet, and Amanomahitotsu as a hidden level. Not that it mattered since the only raid that came close to it was stopped in the Throne Room.

The tower had five levels, the first three dedicated as testing areas for Nazarick’s lead Researcher, Jack. The fourth floor was a luxurious library with a big fireplace, and lots of comfy spots to lounge in. At the top of the floor was Lumière’s room.

Upon entering the tower Lumière stopped before the Tower Guardian, Cheshire.

In a game like YGGDRASIL, guilds enjoyed several benefits if they possessed a guild base of castle tier or higher. The NPCs that the Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick could field were undead monsters. These automatically spawning NPCs—or “pop monsters”—had a maximum level of thirty. Even if they were destroyed, after a while they would respawn on their own, at no cost to the guild. However, players could not customize the AI and appearances of these “pop” NPCs. They were hardly useful in deterring intruders, who were universally players.

There was also another type of NPC; the ones designed from the ground up to their makers’ satisfaction. If a guild possessed a castle-grade guild base, the owning guild would be allowed nine hundred levels to be distributed between any number of NPCs they wanted.

Because the highest level in YGGDRASIL was one hundred, by those stipulations, a guild could make seven level one hundred NPCs and four level fifty NPCs, or any combination thereof.

When designing an original NPC, one could customize weaponry and other equipment in addition to clothing and appearances. As a result, one could create NPCs that were far stronger than the automatic spawns and place them in key locations. Of course, not every NPC had to be designed for battle. A certain guild which called themselves the “Kitty Kingdom” fielded no NPCs other than cats or cat-related creatures.

It was a nice guild to visit.

Cheshire was one of those specially crafted NPCs. It was a shapeshifting fairy created by Lumière. Its default form was that of a dark cat with stripes and an eerie smile that showed several rows of sharp teeth. It was heavily inspired by the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, albeit with a more malicious mindset. It was designed to use “illusions” to trick players when entering such as changing what they see on screen to something else, or swapping what keys did what and so on.

Cheshire always floated down to whoever entered the tower. Its default setting would be to greet whoever came. It had a special message tailored for all the Supreme Beings.

“Welcome back, Mistress!” greeted Cheshire. As Lumière was its creator, she designed it to greet her as mistress, or my dearest lady. She gave the same order to her other creation, Jack.

Jack was stationed at the first floor of the tower. He was near some desks in the lab designed to look like a mad scientist laboratory. Lumière made up his character, leaning into an assassin-lich trope. She almost went with the skeletal appearance, but Bukubukuchagama talked her out of it. Bukubukuchagama bemoaned how there were already plenty of other “scary” monsters in the guild. She tried to bribe Lumière to make Jack a genderswap like her Dark Elves, but Lumière resisted. She compromised as a bishie. Or at least as much of a bishie as an undead could get.

Not that anyone could see it since Jack wore a mask.

That way he could appear as a “scary” monster to befit the evil lab, but in actuality, he was a pretty boy underneath which satisfied Bukubukuchagama. A happy Bukubukuchagama meant free visual novels for Lumière which in turn made for a happy Lumière.

Win-win all around.

Lumière brushed past both of her creations, stepping in to the laboratory and looking around.

Well, it is the last day, she thought as she glanced over at her creations.

“Come with me,” she ordered both of them.

Neither responded, both simply stepping closer to her. Er, well, Jack stepped forward while Cheshire hovered closer. She guided them up the tower to her favorite spot in Nazarick; the cozy little library.

With a wave of her hand she turned the fire place on and took a seat on the lush, red couch in front of it. She let out a slow sigh as she stared at the flickering flames.

She hadn’t even realized so much time had passed, she had zoned out watching the flames dance. That had been happening with greater frequency the past couple of weeks. Lumière’s body in reality wasn’t in good condition. It was a struggle to even get out of bed, her lungs slowly filling with fluid each day. She’d need another draining surgery in a month.

Her fatigue caused her mind to drift away, not quite falling asleep but close to.

What will I do when they shut the game down?

It was a question that had occurred to her several times, but she never found an answer. It wasn’t that YGGDRASIL was the only game she ever played--Civilizaiton CXI and Warhammer were nice ways to pass time, but YGGDRASIL was special to her. Ainz Ooal Gown was a place she finally had proper friends.

Lumière knew something was immediately wrong when the first breath she took was not one hampered. She reflexively breathed deeper and found that it did not incite a fit of coughing. Her eyes shot open and she abruptly stood up from her seat.

Even the movement came with ease.

Lumière twisted her body one way to another, breathing in the scents of--

Scents?! YGGDRASIL couldn’t mimic smells.

But lo and behold Lumière could distinctly smell the fire. It had a odd woodsy scent to it, as if it were scented logs burning inside. Lumière had never gone camping before, nor had she experienced fire first hand in her life. She marveled over the odd smell it emitted, sniffing delicately at it.

I quite like this smell, she thought.

“My dearest lady?”

Lumière twitched in surprise, looking over at Jack. The NPC had approached Lumière, a hand placed over his chest where his heart would have been had he not been undead. Jack, like all of Nazarick’s NPCS, had two default outfits: battle and casual. The battle would originally have only been triggered during a raid, so he currently wore his casual.

Lumière had been pretty huge into Sherlock and anime at the time of his design, so he was heavily inspired by an anime version of Jack the Ripper.

He had a black ulster coat with the collar flipped up. Underneath was a white button up shirt, and black and red suit vest. He had the classic dark white gloves, and black slacks to complete the look.

Oh, and of course the famous top hat. Could never, ever, forget the top hat for someone inspired by Jack the Ripper.

Lumière opened her mouth to say something but rapidly closed it. She placed a hand over her chest, breathing.

I can breathe easy. I have a sense of smell and touch. Is it--did I die?

Isekais were rather popular. Given her sickly body it wouldn’t have been too much of a stretch to say she passed away and had no memory of it.

The end result was still the same: she was in her avatar’s body. A body strengthened by a hundred levels and not plagued by illness or frailty. A smile curled her lips and she said, “Jack, how are you today?”

A question that an NPC could never answer unless specifically programmed for. Lumière had never given such line to Jack which meant that if he answered--

“Lovely now that I can gaze upon you,” he answered, stepping closer.

A surge of embarrassed adrenaline shot through Lumière at his intensely warm tone. Ah, wait--

She had almost forgotten how she programmed Jack’s personality. Leaning into the guild’s theme of “monsters” and “evil” she pushed on with his serial killer design. Cruel, sadistic, obsessive, and dangerously smart. She went all out, using a character design sheet Tabula put together. Lumière wasn’t as inventive or imaginative in the edgy department so she asked Ulbert to help. Ulbert had already made a pretty evil demon, Demiurge, and was delighted to try his hand at an evil undead serial killer.

At the end of the design she, as giggling joke with Peroroncino she added that he was a yandere for her.

Ahahahaha… I’m sure it’ll be okay.

  You know … the “incredibly hot sensei” Satoru Gojo! We can see how powerful he is from the very first episode, and even throughout the series we see only a small fraction of his powers. His technique, Limitless (Mukagen), bends the Infinity from his eyes, allowing him to control all aspects of space, up to an atomic level of manipulation. At a lower level, he can prevent any matter from touching him, as if he creates an invisible barrier around him. But what about when he activates his Domain Expansion? Well, the opponent simply stands still while witnessing an infinite void, their minds and bodies unable to process the excruciating amount of information. But hey! Gojo is still the most relaxed teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High.

  Satella, the Witch of Envy (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)

    The Witches of Sin are people endowed with surreal powers and associated with the Seven Deadly Sins. Throughout the two seasons of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in a -Another World- we are gradually introduced to each of the Witches of Sin. Perhaps the most notable is Satella, the Witch of Envy. We see glimpses of what she is capable of, like control over the shadows and manipulating other people's emotions. But surely her most famous power involves the manipulation of time, as demonstrated through protagonist Subaru Natsuki’s “Return By Death.”

  Every time Subaru is killed, he returns to a previous point to try a new course of action and prevent the death from happening again. If successful, a new return point is created. Satella’s presence is quite hidden and her connection with Subaru is still one of the largest mysteries that surrounds the story. What is known is that the Witch of Envy is one of the most feared beings in this world, both for what she has caused in the past and what she may still cause in the future.

  Julius Novachrono, the Wizard King (Black Clover)

    Julius Novachrono was the last to hold the title of Wizard King, which is no easy achievement. To be worthy of this title, one must be recognized by the Magic Knights as the strongest and most capable of being their leader — which just so happen to be traits that Julius possesses.

  Thanks to so many years as Demon King, Anos holds enormous magical power. Without much effort, he is able to decimate mountains and dry up rivers! Despite these abilities and the terrifying title of Demon King, Anos is very kind and gentle and only wishes the best for people.

  Megumin (KONOSUBA -God’s blessing on this wonderful world!)

    Usually, when we create a wizard character in an RPG game we worry about the distribution of skill points and learning the right types of spells to deal with whatever the campaign might send our way. But then there are those wild cards who dump all their points into a single attribute and specialize in one specific type of magic. This is where Megumin comes in! All she wants is to perfect and improve her explosion magic, the rest is of no importance to her. Creating bigger, louder and ... more explosive explosions is what she wants most in the world, so she trains every day, spending all her magical energy on this one goal.

  Despite this becoming a glass cannon (it's extremely effective but drains most of her energy), Megumin has the power to overcome the most difficult of obstacles. Screaming “Explosion!” probably won’t make your spells any stronger, but it will certainly give a boost to your party’s morale.

  Makoto Misumi (TSUKIMICHI -Monlit Fantasy-)

    All-powerful magical abilities sound super cool, but they can be tiresome, too. Makoto Misumi is a young man who ends up in another world thanks to a pact made between his parents and the goddess of that world. He calmly accepts this reality. What he doesn't accept is being despised by that goddess just because of his supposed ugliness.  This goddess decides to throw him to the ends of the world without any protection. Feeling empathy for Makoto’s situation, the god Tsukuyomi bestows some blessings on the young man, which includes an absurd amount of magical power.

  Makoto ends up needing to use gadgets to absorb this enormous power, otherwise, people think a demon of the highest level is approaching. Makoto just wants to live his new life with his monster allies and learn more about this world, but constantly finds himself up against ill-intentioned people looking for trouble. Of course, messing with someone who is able to change the course of an ongoing war with a single spell is a big mistake.

Ok, i had this question in my Mind for some weeks now and i want your opinion:

If Tanya managed to be in Overlord with Ainz, what do you think would happen?

For me, i think that there is two possibility:

1- She would ask to have a normal and very quiet life style

2- She would join in and be either a very VERY dangerous oponent to the enemies of Nazarick, or she would be helping on the strategy and using her "questionnable" mentallity to the benefit for Nazarick

(Also, if i remember, Tanya's magic power without the gear is strong enought to make some Overlord's characters feel that something dangerous is around, but also lutteraly giving PTSD to her Soldiers, but you can correct me about this because i'm not 100% sure)

Ok, firstly we need to specify things a bit. (BTW there's spoilers of the Overlord light novels ahead)

If Tanya was simply transported to the Overlord world, without being in contact with Nazarick, then the first option seem the most likely one. Though, considering that she would be in a feudal world, she would have to be very patient to rise up and have a "comfortable life", since I presume the idea of working in a farm all her life wouldn't be appealing to her. She'd probably want to eventually become a merchant and go up from there (with alot time and luck she might even start a business or something)

Granted, to climb the ranks faster, she could do the same thing she did originally in Youjo Senki: Join the military. Then her story would be mostly the same (except with more magic and less technology), until the formation of the Sorcerer's Kingdo. Now, I don't think Tanya would even consider the idea of having such a powerful nation as a enemy and would not meddle with their affairs, but if she were in the Kingdom of Re-Estize than she would probably meet her demise in the eventual war with Nazarick. (Unless if she managed to figure something out before the war were to break, perhaps noticing that the Sorcerer's kingdom is pulling some strings behind the curtain? Though princess Renner would probably be quick to take Tanya out of the equation)

Now, if Tanya was in Nazarick. That's a completely different story. Firstly she would have been killed in the spot (since she's a human and not part of Nazarick), but let's say, for the sake of the argument, that Ainz would spare her and keep her around , then maybe her talents would be noticed by the others and she would gain a bit of a reputation. However I doubt she would influence much in terms of the overall story, as not only would her magical abilities and strategic mind be completely overshadowed by the likes of Demiurge and Albedo, her lack of knowledge as to how Yggdrasil works (or what it even is) would definitely hinder her strategic capabilities, as much if, not everything, going on surrounds the dmmo-rpg...

But that's just my opinion. I ain't a writer and I'm definitely could not predict what would happen in this completely hypothetical scenario, thesexare just my two cents on the matter.

#TLDR: at best tanya would be a business owner living peacefully at worst she'd be dead #(or maybe she would just be sitting around Nazarick doing nothing) #but who knows for sure

Ainz, to his Floor Guardians, is a merciful and fair being, striking any who oppose Nazarick down, always seeing the bigger goal ahead, and is perfect in every way. Ainz is cold and calculating, and extremely pragmatic.

To everyone in the Monastery, it’s very clear he has no idea what he’s doing, but no one says anything due to not wanting to be murdered by his group.

When not around his group, they tend to see the real Ainz, which is just a regular person, skeletal appearance aside. He is respectful, but is absolutely brutal to any enemies of his fellow students and his own House. 

Ainz sees Fodlan as a bizarre world, not at all similar to Yggdrasil, the DMMO-RPG he played almost religiously before being teleported to a new world. While he doesn’t particularly care about the politics in it, he at least cares somewhat for his classmates.

Albedo

Closest Friends: Dorothea, Hilda, Manuela, Petra, Hubert

The first thing that everyone noticed about Albedo was that she was absolutely beautiful. The next thing was that she was a succubus. The fact a literal monster was at Garreg Mach was unnerving, but she seems to get along mostly with everyone. She is seems to be polite, but is terrifyingly in love with Ainz, and would definitely kill every one of them if he ordered it.

Sylvain and Lorenz have been the only ones to make her genuinely mad, and extremely close to murdering them. 

Despite her disdain for humans, she doesn’t seem to dislike most of the humans at Garreg Mach and in her own House. Mostly due to the interactions from the last classroom environment, and finds House Isekai with the most tolerable to likable humans.

Shalltear

Closest Friends: Edelgard, Hubert, Mercedes, Linhardt

Being an undead vampire makes mostly everyone stay away from her, but she doesn’t appear to be malicious. At least at first.

Those who spent any amount of time knows that she is sadistic, just as kinky as Darkness, and absolutely terrifying. She has a distaste for humans like most of Nazarick, but seems to keep it under control at Garreg Mach, going so far as to like a few people here.

Demiurge

Closest Friends: Edelgard, Hubert, Shamir, Claude

Whenever Demiurge enters the room, everyone gets a cold chill running down their spine. He is even more cold-blooded than Ainz, and calculates things down to a brutal efficiency. Everyone is convinced he has a plan to kill the entire Monastery. Which he does.

He is one of the most loyal to Ainz, right behind Albedo. The church keeps a close eye on him, and he returns the surveillance in kind with his magic.

While he prepares and plots against his classmates, he doesn't harm them and gets along fine with them, especially Hubert. He enjoys working in this new environment, and seeing those in awe of his great ruler, Ainz Ooal Gown.

Cocytus

Closest Friends: Felix, Ingrid, Ashe, Caspar, Leonie, Catherine, Jeritza, Dimitri

Everyone pulled their weapons on Cocytus when they first saw what he was. After a bit of time, people are still not used to him, but his classmates see him as one of the few nice people from Ainz’s group.

He is a warrior through and through, and has an honor system that would humble anyone, especially those training to be knights.

Cocytus specifically likes training the students, seeing such young warrior spirits waiting to unlock their full potential. He genuinely likes a lot of the students at the Monastery, along the Knights of Seiros.

Pandora’s Actor

Closest Friends: Flayn, Annette, Marianne, Yuri, Dimitri, Ashe, Ingrid

Even though Nazarick’s group has literal demons and monsters walking about, everyone finds Pandora’s Actor the weirdest of the bunch.

He is a shapeshifter, but that is not what makes him notorious. He is extremely flamboyant in his speech, actions and even poses. Despite his flashiness, he is generally a nice enough person, albeit annoying sometimes. Ainz does everything in his power to avoid him, and to prevent him from embarrassing the group further.

Ainz’s attempts do not work.

A exaggerant and jolly figure who wishes to do all to help his creator, Ainz. Be it from getting his attention to even fighting him if he has to. He's prone to be rather embarrassing to Ainz yet Pandora’s Actor does not care.

Sebas

Perhaps the most normal and kind one of the group, he is fairly popular around the Monastery. While not human himself, he does not hold contempt for them, in fact its the opposite. Willing to help train the younger students to hone their skills and being an advising figure for all, he was voted to be an Instructor for House Isekai. He is a brutal fighter, able to punch people’s heads clean off, making him loved and feared. 

Sebas likes the enthusiastic natures of the Youths of Garreg Mach, and is more than happy to spend time with them, making sure the rules are being kept and helping those in need. Sebas is the first person of Nazarick that people go to for advice, followed by Cocytus.

Despite his overall friendly and respectful manner, his absolute loyalty is with Ainz, not anyone else.

Aura and Mare (Respectively)

Aura is a very cheerful, tomboyish girl who is often straightforward and blunt with her remarks. Mare has a shy and cowardly personality, the kind which is a polar opposite to his sister, Aura. He often stutters when speaking and maintains a subservient demeanor during conversations. Despite their appearances, they are able to carry out the most cold-blooded orders without question or hesitation for Ainz, as their loyalty is unwavering towards him.

Even though they are very old (Around seventy in age), they often get lumped in with the younger students of the Academy, and their childlike-demeanor does not help make them seem like their age. They are completely neutral towards humans, and get along with the students relatively well.

The Monastery also notes Aura and Shaltear not getting along, though students with siblings point out that it’s more of a familial way of acting, as if they were actually sisters.

Yuri Alpha,  Lupusregina Beta, Entoma Vasilissa Zeta, CZ2I28 Delta, Narberal Gamma, Solution Epsilon

They generally do not interact with the students of the Monastery, due to a majority of them hating humans, but can get along if ordered to.

Though due to a majority of them having to interact with humans in their own world and with Kazuma’s group, the Pleiades have grown slightly more tolerant of them.

Those of House Isekai are the only humans they get along with right off the bat, since some of them have been with Ainz before.

Universal Supports: Byleth, House Isekai

Yuri

Closest Friends - Byleth, Ashe, Ingrid, Lysithea, Leonie, Seteth, Edelgard

A dullahan (Undead who can remove their head) and leader of the Battle Maids, she is one of the two sisters that humans can “safely” talk to. She is the one of the few among Nazarick who do not outright despise humans, and likes them. Her behavior is strict and is like that of a teacher, but acts more like a tomboy in private.

Lupusregina

Closest Friends - Claude, Yuri, Hapi, Dorothea, Hilda, Mercedes, Annette, Ignatz, Raphael, Ferdinand

A werewolf and the most cheerful one of her sisters. She has a very bright and outgoing personality, but is able to act accordingly like a perfect lady. She is sociable and friendly towards humans. However she is brutal and cunning, and has an extremely sadistic nature, making her one of the most dangerous to humans.

Entoma 

Closest Friends (Used VERY LOOSELY) - Flayn, Cyril, Lysithea, Annette

Entoma has the appearance of a young girl wearing traditional Japanese attire. Her eyes and mouth never move, but that is due to her true form being an spider-human. In fact, she likes to eat humans, finding them delicious. 

Despite her literally eating them, she doesn’t particularly care for them much, if they don’t bother her, she doesn’t bother them. When she isn’t hungry, anyway. Though having to be at the Monastery, she instead eats any bandits or prisoners around Garreg Mach.

CZ2128

Closest Friends: Mercedes, Annette, Ashe, Hapi, Costance, Flayn, Dedue, Dimitri, Hilda

CZ2I28 is emotionless and usually silent, due to being an automaton. However, she likes cute things and likes to mark them with a one yen sticker. She normally does not respond to humans and ignores them, though there have only been a select few she actually responds to. 

She is the second of the two sisters that humans can safely talk to without the threat of being murdered for saying the wrong thing. 

Narberal

Closest Friends (Used VERY LOOSELY) -  Ashe, Edelgard, Hubert, Dimitri, Dedue, Felix

Narberal is a doppleganger like Pandora’s Actor. She views humans as nothing more than low-class creatures, always pondering to kill anyone who dares look down upon Ainz before asking his permission to do so. Ironically enough, she dislikes the thought of killing humans, she will not hesitate to do so if there is no reason to let them live, or unless given an order by Ainz. 

She is generally calm, but prone to anger quickly. It is also very easy to make her flustered.

Solution

Closest Friends (Used VERY LOOSELY) - Hubert, Edelgard, Claude, Dimitri

Solution is a slime-like predator creature and thinks of humans as food and toys. She loves to swallow humans alive and enjoys the suffering and struggling of her victims. She is also very logical, often questioning her more powerful superiors if their actions are not beneficial to Nazarick as a whole.

My wife most certainly knows about Yggdrasil and is aware that I played it. However, due to personal responsibilities and a matter of upbringing, she had no interest in the game.
