Somedays I see drawings that irritate me in ways that annoy my very soul, as if the artist somehow insulted the very cores of my creative standards. Of course, since I am a certified Reasonable Human Being*, I mearly silently scoff in my mind as I carry on with my day...

But other times I am this 🤏 close to remaking some drawing I subjectively hate with such intricacy and effort that the original artist will be utterly defeated, for I will gave not only outdone them in their own game, but they could not even be too upset, for I essentially just gave them free high-effort fanart for free.

I would not even be mean about it, outside of the faint venom lingering in my positive words of encouragement and support. I'd be like: "omg love your art, here is my interpretation of it XD" and show them something so utterly superior in every possible way that the original artist would be haunted by that interaction for years.

Now obviously I do not advocate for such pettiness, as, at the end of the day, everyone should be allowed to draw whatever they feel like it. But I sewar, some folks have fallen for common artistic traps which severely hinder their potential! WAKE UP YOU FOOLS!! YOU CAN BE SO MUCH BETTER!! you can dominate the world if you allow yourself to sink your teeth further!! Do not limit yourself, experience complementary flavours to expand your pallet and your powers!! BECOME A MASTER!

If there's something I love doing is answering questions about my silly AUs, @dario-el-estupido, so here us what I have planned for these three:

Kaigaku swaps roles with Genya, serving as a Rival turned Allied to Nezuko and the rest of the "Kamabaka" squad. He still practices Thunder Breathing, but recently he found out he possess an uncanny ability to consume demon meat to gain their powers!

Nakime swaps roles with the Ubuyashiki daughters, acting as Muzan's assistant in various tasks, including hosting the Final Selection. She is surprisingly stealthy, always catching others off guard with the strung of her biwa to announce her statements...

As for Kokushibo... well things are very complicated. I have no good swap for either him, Yoriichi and Gyomei.

[‼️SPOILERS FOR ANIME VIEWERS AHEAD‼️]

Were I to swap Upper Moon One with the Stone Pillar, it would fit with him taking Kaigaku as a pupil, but his direct ties with Yoriichi would have to be erased or heavily modified. Another idea is to put him on Yoriichi's role as a sage figure to Nezuko, But then Gyomei would have no good character to swap with...

This all stems from the fact Yoriichi is performs a crucial and specific role with various rippling connections. In fact, right now I am heavily inclined to swap Yoriichi with his with, Uta, of all things to better echo Nezuko...

Perhaps I could do the same with Kokushibo and his prior wife? I really don't know at this point, so I would LOVE for any suggestions regarding this very tangled mess (' ×_× )

Demon Slayer SWAP AU - The "Kamabaka" squad.

Nezuko Kamado: After her older brother's leg is sprained, she manages to convince him to go sell charcoal instead. Sadly, she returns home to find her family massacred and her brother turn into a monster. Now she embarks on a journey to cure him and stop the demon who changed her life.

Tanjiro Kamado: Once the elderer brother of five, he took his late father's responsibilities to take care of his family, always putting their needs over him. Unfortunately, in one eventful night he was transformed into a demon while most of his family was killed.

Yahaba Hitomi: On the surface, he is pragmatic and composed, yet a deep sense of perfectionism plagues his mind, causing him to follow strict standards. To help him loosen up, hos father taught him swordsmanship, but his compulsion only continued in his combat techniques.

Susamaru: Raised in an orphanage, she grew up to become exceptionally active and competitive, always challenging others in all sorts of games while neglecting everything else. Her obsession with everything athletic ket her to develop her own Breathing Style.

Demon Slayer SWAP AU - [A new project on the horizon]

Oh boy, here I go making another fricking AU...

The main characteristics of this alternative take on the story is the replacement of all major members of the Demon Slayer Corps with the legion of demons scattered throughout Taisho era Japan! Even minor or background characters are subject to having their roles swapped.

Here are some general swaps included in this AU:

Kagaya Ubuyashiki <--> Muzan Kibutsuji

The Hashiras/Pillars <--> The Twelve Kizuki/Demon Moons

The Butterfly Mansion <--> The Spider Family

Wisteria Flowers <--> Spider Lilies*

* working concept, may not be applied.

So far I have fully and extensively planned out most of the cast, working their narrative roles, character designs, and backstories. There are only tree or so... complicated cases which need further tuning.

I have spent a ridiculous amount of time and effort into this, to an almost embarrassing degree. From studying Kimetsu no Yaiba lore for accurate depiction of characters, to in depth dives into character roles and narrative purpose in stories to best place them in the overall plot. This might be the most extensive AU I have ever made and I'm not sure why I did it...

So yeah... be on the look out for this AMBITIOUS ASS project.
