Tho I did still go a little extra on this lol #I'm trying to do more digital stuff ♪ It wasn't the best art day and I'm still a little nervous to jump right in :') #Not doing any sketches on paper beforehand feels weird but I guess it is thematic in a way lol #And I'm still pleased with how they turned out hehe #It really does feel nice to be drawing them again <3 #And doing silly sibling things! so we're out for a meal at one of those fancy tasting menu places and they went on about the sourdough for some elements of it so i was obv delighted to talk yeast with the chef

and when they bring us out our bill stuff and little extras at the end of the night look what i was gifted:

I recently read the highlanders novelisation and I liked the part where Jamie asks the Doctor when he's going to perform bloodletting on the injured Laird. because that's what makes sense to him!

cut to me googling when bloodletting fell out of practice to see if Victoria would also be a fan. turns out yes (end of the 19th century)

sometimes you have to have a silly idea and see it through to completion. plus I love love LOVE when the Doctor's companions gang up on him, and I wanted to draw J + V in their matching tartan because it was just too cute
