Clementine and Cassius were traveling bakers, they would go from clan to clan, flight to flight baking and selling their beloved Cotton Candy Ice Cream Cake. Their company and their goods were always accepted, for they were incredibly friendly. When they came to the Wind flight they heard of this little bakery within the Singers Brook. They excitedly made their way down the winds to meet the small baker. They met Jophiel and tried his tiny treats which they absolutely loved so they asked to use his kitchen to trade the sweets and Jophiel very enthusiastically accepted. They neatly created their wonderful Cotton Candy Ice Cream Cake and gave it to Jophiel. He was absolutely in love with it and asked if they would stay and help his bakery grow. Cassius was a bit hesitant, as he was unsure if he wanted to settle down or not yet but Clementine was more than willing to stay. "So, Snag and Huck," Crazy Claws enquired the other evening after supper, "how go the plans for Thanksgiving?"

"Probably stay with you for the dinner on that day," Huckleberry Hound drawled, "and Snag and I would likely head down to Carolina not long after."

"Admittedly," saith I, "considering the holiday shopping traffic, and depending on how the weather ensues, with attendant effect on the roads, those will be obvious factors as to when we'll leave."

"Not at all a bad idea," CC remarked. "After all, Artificial Lake Delton can get to be even more so when it goes into seasonal drawdown about that time."

"Doesn't that, like, leave you much lonesome like?" asked Huck.

"Who says it has to be lonely," Crazy Claws rejoindered, "when half the cabins are essentially closed for the winter, to begin with?"

The point, at any rate, was planning for Thanksgiving dinner, and the likelihood of certain "surprise guests" among our fellow Funtastics joining in the "turkey and tinsel" bit. As witness the likes of the respective clowders of Top Cat and the Cattanooga Cats serving up community dinners in their own right, Yogi likely being in Jellystone Park, the Hair Bears in Motherbu--hark! a rumour hath it that the Peter Potamus Travelling SCUBA Par-tay might detour Wisconsin Dells way as they head down to some winter diving escapades on a remote part of the United States Virgin Islands, first major test even of the former Jolly Rodger from Yogi's Treasure Hunt in crew and gear transport!

"Not to mention," added I, "the sheer potential for some serious diving-related thigh-slappers galore!"

"If it's all the same to you," Crazy Claws remarked, "expect them to get rather lively as much as fascinating! Come to think of it, I can't wait to hear such fascinating accounts of their especially wearing just themselves while diving; certainly feels quite refreshing!"

"So I've heard," Huck remarked.

"And let me guess," added I. "Turkey and the usual schtick."

"How did you get so exact there?" was all Crazy Claws could remark.

At any rate, dear and gentle reader--apologies Taylor Caldwell there--stay tuned to see how it ensues at Thanksgiving.

I... don't actually know? You should ask Sapphire, she knows a lot about this stuff...

It's not a disorder per se, it's when two embryos fuse. In CC's case, one of them was shiny, and one of them wasn't.

(Chimeras are fun! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimera_(genetics) I'd never seen a chimeric Pokemon before, so I just kinda made my own.)

And the Dells awaits (even if it's with Crazy Claws)

Heavens to H. H. Bennett ... do I sense fall being pretty much in the air down amongst waterslides that, at least outdoors, have ended their seasons already, let alone marked its transition of seasons with the Wo-Zha-Wa festival, even?!

That, kind reader, happens to be the matter to hand in Wisconsin Dells as yours truly, alongside Huckleberry Hound, prepare to take fall by the proverbial colours alongside Crazy Claws with his retreat along the shores of the legendary Artificial Lake Delton. Even if it meant taking in Wo-Zha-Wa in line with the inevitable custom of so marking passage between summer and fall colours, appearing imminent by the time you read this.

Taking it alongside the famous hamburgers and fries of Monk's Bar and Grill ... breakfast at The Country Keg (or was that Paul Bunyan's?) ... and plenty of food stands making the inevitable festival rounds well into the autumn. Let alone wrapping things up with a halfway-decent soup supper, cream of wild rice with diced ham and turkey breast in the slow cooker all these hours, and some crusty Italian-type bread even for dunking into the soup, perhaps the best thing ever to be experienced with cream of wild rice soup!

Inevitably, it was over the supper that we got to asking Crazy Claws "himself" how things managed to hang on all along. And by admission of his, he noted that his podcasts observational saw their share of online and app listeners, even if it wasn't quite what could be expected all the while. Until one particular such, which included an interview with the Cattanooga Cats after their performance at the Riverside Terrace in Beautiful Downtown Wisconsin Dells, even if it was well past one in the morning and a light on-and-off drizzle prevailed; all involved kept their calm over some breadsticks and marinara sauce ... and can you imagine the response, many such listeners admitting such certainly made the horror-film treatment of The Banana Splits look--well, you wouldn't be interested. And before long, CC couldn't help but get into a Beau Nash mode at Riverside Terrace, or even go into walkabout mode himself alongside a few other fellow Funtastics as managed to pass through.

Including some rather memorable moments close to Mirror Lake pulling off some inline road skating moves with the Skatebirds on a rather dull Saturday afternoon with much in the way of dandelion pollen in the air, helped by some 25 mph winds. For which a brandy old fashioned chaser would not be recommended, as Crazy Claws quipped, suggesting instead some Bubbl'r infused sparkling water. Whether it had the desired effects on Knock-Knock, Satchel and Scooter is anybody's guess, even after being in the middle of a Saturday-night supper club prime rib special.

Anyhow, listening to the recordings of CC's podcasts over much of the evening certainly made the evening, a soemwhat misty such as it emerged, interesting. Stirring up memories galore, for which Crazy Claws was fond of playing up the puns.
