can I just say that, as an nyc resident, the brownstone being Bruce’s “I’m poor now” house is so funny to me. brownstones in manhattan go for MINIMUM ten mil, while the brooklyn ones tend to go for the slightly more reasonable price of 2 mil lmao. I know it’s gotham and all but. cmon 😂
Bruce sitting on his brownstone steps in a designer robe, sipping on the tea Damian made for him.
-sigh- "I've fallen on hard times 😔."

Elegant 1920 brownstone in Baltimore, Maryland has 6bd. 5ba. and is listed for $649,900.
Isn’t the entrance hall amazing? The foyer is lovely, but the leaded glass inner door, that bench & mirror, the floor & ceiling are all stunning. Love the wainscoting and wallpaper, also.
Oh, this is stunning. Look at that ceiling. The curves! The flooring, wainscoting, fireplace and windows are all amazing, and so is the wallpaper.
Check out the light fixture on the right.
Functional pocket doors open to the 2nd sitting room. It’s so artsy. Love that fireplace, crown molding and ceiling medallion.
What an elegant room.
This home is just one stunning room after another. The fireplaces and ceilings are incredible. And. look at the chandelier.
Hall behind the entrance leads to the kitchen.
Nice, simple remodel. The cabinetry matches the wood in the rest of the home, and they left that wonderful fireplace. How often do you see such a beautiful fireplace in a kitchen?
Behind the fireplace is this lovely sunny space for dining.
Beautiful, spacious vintage guest powder room.
Wow, this is the right way to restore a vintage bath. Love this so much. I can’t understand why people do modern baths when they reno. This is fabulous. Notice how the green in the tile matches the tub’s paint.
These rooms just get better. This is gorgeous. I love their choice of paint colors and wallpapers. This room may actually be the dining room.
Spacious bedroom with an en-suite is so pretty.
It looks like they may have added a shower in this bathroom that was originally just a 1/2 bath.
Another beautiful fireplace. Since older homes sometimes lack closets in the bedrooms, they’ve placed one in the room that matches the flooring.
This bd. is huge, and so beautiful.
Look at the stained glass skylight in the hall.
Another wonderful vintage bath restoration.
This home has such beautiful stained glass windows.
The two remaining of the 6 bds. are sunny and bright and have been refurbished.
The 5th vintage bath. Every bath is amazing, but I think that this one goes with an apt. in the home.
This is a small apt. that hasn’t been completely redone.
The basement is nice, not spooky at all. Looks like there’s a nice storage closet back there, too.
In love with this home.
Around the block is a garage which is worth gold in a city, and look at the porch above.
Passage to the garage.
Behind the garage is a tiny area that could be a cute place to sit or put a little grill. Not much of a yard, but that’s city life. I’d be happy to have a private area like this.

Warm
Henry doesn’t pretend that he’s always known what the future held for them. It’s quite the opposite for him, really. Alex loudly stormed into his life without preamble.
But now that his presence has settled there, Henry feels Alex much more quietly.
It’s the larger-than-life smiles that never fail to reach his eyes, the way they make the corners crinkle. When Alex directs these gilded smiles towards Henry, even the most breathtaking exhibits in Renaissance City cannot compare.
It’s his honey-smooth words and warm voice, how they seep into Henry’s heart, filling the cold cracks with something shaped like hope.
My latest weekly drabble for the weekly 100-word drabble prompt challenge.
