oh look who it is!
Now I personally don't remember much of Qibli [i don't remember much of wof to begin with, this au is like half the time relearning things] But the Fanon interpretation of him grew on me. That added with the little I remember of him, when he worked and planed with Turtle how to learn more about Darkstalker. And even covered for Turtle when he was still hiding his magic and very existence from the wanna-be-Laviathan.
Overall Ive written quite the fun relationship that grows in this au with him and Turtle- they already have some "taking down big evil forces" history so I think we are all in for a bit of a fun time with these two haha

As a friendly reminder of why beta reading is important*, here's a list of stupid shit that @sound-under-the-sea has had to remind me of
The rain on the Boiling Isles boils.
Neither the internet or I speaks fluent French.
Lilith cannot do spells after she splits the curse. Not even for purposes of angst.
Lilith and Eda are almost certainly related to Belos, and a dark au where Lilith is coerced into becoming the Empress is technically incest.
King exists.
Hooty exists.
Adrian Graye is a Coven Head.
Warden Wrath breathes fire.
'Pang' is not spelled with a 't'.
Metal does glow when it melts, you don't need to say it twice.
I use 'and' wayyyyy too much.
If you snatch someone up off the ground, it implies that you're lifting them up. You don't need to say that twice either.
Palismen do not taste like blue raspberry. Or grape. Or banana.
Wooper does not evolve into Quagmire (ok, that one's not fic related, but I had to include it).
Moral of the story? Have someone beta read your shit unless you want to hear this after it's published!
*I am, in fact, very guilty of being too impatient to have someone beta read my shit. That's how shit like this happens ;-;

I like to think that Steve reminds Lilith of Eda. By either the mannerisms, the excitable energy or his sense of loyalty, she flashes back to her sister.
Whenever he tries hugging her, gently bumping into her, or she gently pats his shoulder; she freezes and doesn’t know what to do with herself. She quietly reminds him to let go and be dignified. Other times, she clasps her hands behind her back and tells him it’s against the rules.
Internally though, she feels nothing but guilt and regret because she doesn’t want to ruin another friendship or be close with anyone. Not after what she did previously.

"Steven?" Connie called as she looked at Steven, lying in their bed, pale face, dried and cracked-lipped. A look of dazed fatigue on his feverish red-cheeked face."Bisky? You ok?" The researcher asked, putting her coat on the hanger before walking up to him.
"Uhh?" Steven groaned, "I think I got something from my trip." He mumbled.
"That's a given," Connie stated, walking over to him and checking his head. "You're burning up." She said, feeling his forehead. "Do you need another blanket?" She asked, moving to get one.
"No, just... stay here." Steven moaned, falling back into the pillow.
"Well, maybe you should take some fluids," Connie said, getting up and going to the bathroom.
"OH! NO!." Steven groaned, "No more drinks!"
Connie arched her eyebrow at the sudden energetic protest.
"Quite the apprehension there, Mister."
"I drank a lot at the last meeting...been feeling off...soon after."
Connie considered, "Drank what?"
"...Something one of the delegates brought from their home planet, it was tasty and reminded me of mango and cream... Said it was a very fermented stout...at least that's what it translated to."
"Oh-ho, no!" Connie giggled as she crawled up next to him, putting his head on her lap.
"Diamond essence didn't wo~oork." Steven complained in Connie's thighs as she brushed his hair with her left hand, "Happy you're wearing shorts..." He muttered as he snuggled into his Heartberry warm flesh.
"Oh, really, and why is that?" Connie teased lovingly.
"I like the feel of your skin on mine, so warm."
She smiled at Steven's honest yet weak tone as he looped his large limb around Connie's hip line.
"Why didn't the essence work? I thought it was a heal-all?" He muttered.
"Sure, wounds, bruises, disembodied limbs, burned flesh, viruses can even bring back the dead... Given the formula."
"Then why didn't it work on me?"
"Cause you...Mister galactic ambassador of Era 3; aren't sick...You're hung over."
"Hung over, like when you wake up from a night of drinking alcohol?" Steven asked, his fever slowly dropping as he started to feel acquainted with Connie's scent.
"same almost exactly," Connie confirmed,
"But I didn't drink any alcohol?"
"You got drunk on a fermented alien beverage. Good chance it's an equivalent to alcohol."
"You think?" Steven mumbled, getting a bit exhausted.
"Stout...a synonym for beer."
"Arrgh." He bashfully groaned," I did?"
"You did."
"It didn't taste like beer?! It was so fruity."

The clock above the oven was slow, two minutes behind, to be precise. It stalled at 4:57 am. The room was shrouded in soft light from the hall. A faint yellow glow to keep you from stubbing your toe on the kitchen island. You read in the paper that the sunrise would be around 6:45. Fairly typical of late autumn. The tiles in the kitchen were cold, like a sheet of ice was laid over the floor. The entire house felt frigid and dead. You leaned at the counter next to the stove, watching the hot plate grow redder and redder. A white percolator was starting to steam. The silk robe wrapped around your shoulders did nothing to wick away the chill nipping at your thighs and ankles.
Deeper in the house, you heard the jiggle of a doorknob and someone shuffling into the living room. Your fiancé, William Afton, yawned, rubbing at his eyes as he strolled into the kitchen. A blue felt robe was tied loosely at his hips, his chest bare but a pair of striped pajama bottoms saved his dignity. William flinched at first, but relaxed, recognizing you in the dim light.
"A bit early to put on coffee." He mumbled, scratching at his stubbled jaw. But, he didn't complain, sidestepping you to get to the upper cabinet and grab a mug. You said nothing. You didn't even spare him a glance. Disgust stirred in your chest as you were reminded of where you found him yesterday morning. Wrapped up in your sheets, comfortable with another lover.
His bare feet tapped against the floor as he walked behind you. He set the empty mug on the counter, wrapped his arms around your waist, and kissed your cheek. The wiry 5'oclock shadow scratching your face. You barged your way out of his hold, pushing him aside.
"What the hell was that?" He barked in surprise.
He shut up when he saw your face, narrowed into a venomous glare. Your arms crossed as you leaned against the refrigerator door.
William sighed, his hand at his temple.
"Is this about Johannes?" His voice was tired and bored. He could care less as he helped himself to the fresh pot of coffee.
"How long?" You were surprised you could even speak about his disgusting display. Of course, William decided to play stupid.
"How long, what, dear?"
"How long have you been fucking each other in our bed." The words came out like jagged glass, trying to elicit any sort of remorse from the man in front of you. He shrugged.
"Just once. I prefer the hotel down by the bistro. Keeps the public eye away. "
A scoff caught in your throat.
"What? I'm just being honest-"
Your voice broke as everything hit your heart at once. You looked at William dead in the eyes through the angry tears starting to prick at the corners of your own. "How could you do this to me? To us... Our wedding is in three weeks, and you’d toss it in the bin for one of your assistants." a bitter laugh cut off your own words. You couldn't believe what came out of your own mouth, your own naivety. You were warned he was a wanderer- hell, he's already been divorced! How could you be so stupid! Stupid-stupid-stupid!
William rolled his eyes, swirling the mug of coffee like a glass of red wine.
"Oh, would you stop with the theatrics? I still love you. We're still going to tie the knot. I already spent a fortune on the venue and that damned dress. No matter what you think, I'm not throwing "us" away."
"Do I even get a say in this?" Your hands were now on your hips.
William's gaze narrowed, "You gave me your answer. What, you want to break up over a small infidelity? Seems to me like you want to toss the relationship in the bin."
"You go behind my back sleeping around the town and expect me to be okay with becoming your spouse?!"
"You are so dramatic. All I was doing was fulfilling my needs. Something you've been denying me."
"Your needs- your fucking needs!" Your hand clamped over your mouth as you fought back the urge to scream. You could feel your heart rate spike. But, you refused to raise your voice. Your eyes glanced back to the hall where your sibling’s room was.
"You can't possibly expect a man like me to be satisfied with just this! It's not in our DNA- there are studies about this- hell, it's even in the word of God! You don't need to take it so personally."
You heard enough. You brushed past William through the kitchen and out the front door without another word. William's yells echoed past the closed door and the threshold of your yard for you to come back.
Outside it was much colder. Patches of frost in the grass glistened like diamonds in the moonlight. Your bare feet treading on the concrete into town. You needed to clear your head. You didn't have a destination in mind, but anywhere would bring welcome peace.
The sidewalk narrowed. A few cars parked here and there as you strolled into the small strip of civilization of Hurricane. Many shops were still closed, inky black reflecting you in the window glass. It couldn't be any later than 6 am, but strangely enough, you smelled fresh bread.
It was warm and enticing, wafting from a little bakery across the street. There was no traffic stopping you from j-walking. You came up to the window, your breath fogging the glass as you peered in. The back lights were on, but no one was at the register. The local bakers must just be getting their stock ready for the day. You walked

So, this is something I meant to share my opinion on for awhile, but I was nervous to bring negative attention to myself.
This is in regards to the Your Boyfriend fandom, more specifically, the official game and creator.
Tw now for brief mentions of sexual assault and abuse.
Now, I’m not gonna sit here and complain about how the game ruined the personality I came to Peter for or anything, because frankly, I like yanderes, I don’t really care. Am I kinda bummed he’s not as unique and interesting as before, yeah, but I don’t care about that.
What I do care about, is that Fuboo, the creator of Your Boyfriend, marketed Your Boyfriend Peter as a character that is friendly to survivors of sa and abuse, and to aromantic and asexual people through the blog (which is going to be deleted soon from what I heard). She got everyone attached to his interesting take on yanderes, only to turn around and pull day three on us.
For those unaware, day three of the game involves Peter admitting to sexually assaulting you in your sleep, and then using pointless violence on you in every route.
That on its own is fine, classic yandere stuff. The problem is, that again, Peter was marketed as survivor and Aro and Ace friendly. Specifically exposing survivors of abuse and sa to something that could trigger their trauma.
Yes there’s warnings in the game that it’s not for certain audiences, that warns of certain content, however, there is no warning on the site about sexual assault. None.
Technically sa and abuse survivors fall under the triggered category, however, I believe it’s irresponsible to not advertise that there’s mentions of sa in the game.
I understand that this is just the warnings for day 1, however, you should have the warning before any of these survivors get this game, in my opinion.
That and, well, it’s entirely unfriendly to aro and ace people now. I doubt any ace or aro people wanna see this freak go against their lack of love or sexual arousal like this. The blog specifically stated that he would just want to be your closest and only friend if you were aro or ace, so to see this is upsetting. I’m not aro or ace, but I did feel it was important to mention.
All of this is just to say, I am no longer supporting any of the canon or official YB content. I will stick by certain fan creators, but not Fuboo.
I will still probably make fan content myself in regards of loving my OC Mc too much to give them up but, that being said I’m probably gonna redesign my version of Peter to make him stand out from the original game version more.
If you’ve read this far, thank you, please try to keep things civil in the notes. I’m not looking to argue, or persuade others, just stating my opinion and stance on canon.
I have nothing against those who continue to support canon, I just cannot do it myself.

After the Battle of Khrom and Wolffe’s recovery, Plo took the time to teach his sons Teräs Käsi, the hand to hand combat martial art used to combat Force Sensitives. Plo learned it in the nearly four hundred years he’s been alive. Kit also helped and taught what he learned from his Uncle to his Battalion as well.
The Clones are only taught the basics as it is a difficult martial art to master, but they practice none the less. Wolffe finds himself practicing hours in a morning when they aren’t busy as to never be put in that position again.
