Never read the Qur'an or Islamic scriptures 📜 Only Psalms I read was on the arms of my ninjas ~ Jay-Z I was created in a world of🙏🏾 Baptists, Buddhists, Christians, Catholics, Atheists & Muslims... Martha (my namesake) & grandma raised me to know God. #martha's dad, Bin Abdul was a Buddhist and her mom Estee, a Southern Baptist. I always found it difficult trying to read and understand the Bible, but Shakespeare...no problem. 🎭 I always understood the moral to the stories or parables better when I heard sermons. I always make things relatable to understand, but reading the #BasicInstructionsBeforeLeavingEarth was harder to comprehend than when I hear the word. When people would say God spoke to them I would be like dang why God don't speak to me (in my head I started singing the song from the Color 💜 Purple right then) so I began to ask God to speak to me in a way I could relate. All in an effort to strengthen my relationship with the Most High. #specificisterrific Soooo.... follow along with me ➡️ she is #Martha (from the Bible) Bebe (her paternal grandmother's name), #iam #Marta (origin of Martha) Bebe (Mommy's middle name), she was born 11/11/44, me 10/01/74. THERES A REASON WHY MANY BELIEVE BIBLE....MEANS #BasicInstructionsBeforeLeavingEarth ... It is a life manual if you know what you’re reading. An infallible one at that! I got this during the #GreatCakeExchange19 from @glasshouse100 when “accidentally” ended up speaking for event which was happening simultaneously. The numbering of course is my doing lol. 1. Everything starts with belief. You will not succeed beyond the limitations you have placed on yourself. Why do I have unshakable belief no matter the task at hand? It’s because it’s rooted in my belief that I am created by a creator for the purpose of creating heaven on earth. To not believe in myself, for me would be the equivalent of not believing in God. 2. Science shows that writing something down once has the same effect on the brain as reading it 7 times. If you wrote your vision everyday for 100 days....it would be the same as you reading it 700 times! Writing and referring back to your #vision does a few things to help you. For one it activates the #ReticularActivatingSystem or the part of the brain that makes you notice every red Dodge Charger.....right after you bought yours. It will cause you to notice opportunities you wouldn’t have normally. It also acts as a #GPS if you do this. Whenever you are presented with something, like a perceived opportunity ask yourself “how does this move me closer to the vision”? When you frame all your actions this way you’re be surprised how much energy you waste in vein. 3. How do you talk about yourself/your goals/the challenges of life? Faith comes by hearing and hearing. That’s in the Bible too lol. I think a dope experiment would be for a person to record themselves for a week. You might be surprised how #selfdefeating your conversation is. You need something to counteract all the negativity people unwittingly spew into the universe. My suggestion? #AFFIRMATIONS . If you don’t have one, here’s one of the best ones I’ve developed . I AM ENOUGH ( 3x ) . I AM MORE THAN ENOUGH. EVERYDAY & IN EVERY WAY I BECOME BETTER AND BETTER. EVERYDAY AND IN EVERY WAY I BECOME MORE SUCCESSFUL.
