I cannot believe we are already finished with January and we are about 1 week in February. I apologize, as life has been incredibly difficult the last several months that I have not done any work here.

I am very proud to let you all know that I am starting the process to become a Priest in the Episcopal Church. In November I completed the required Day of Discernment. This meeting introduced me and other candidates to the Episcopal Church, our Diocese Bishop, and introduced us to our mentors.

Our Diocese Bishop will be at my church on Easter. And as a result, I will also be confirmed in the Episcopal Church on Easter. I am very excited about this.

I also have been able to work on some healing from the trauma I experienced with the Church of the Nazarene. The Episcopal Church has been night and day with not only how they live out the Gospel message of "Love thy neighbor" but they also do what they can to be open, welcoming and supportive.

In less than 1 year I am not only a lay music minister, but I am now a part of the Mission Committee (Church Board) and my role within the committee is the clerk (secretary). I cannot wait to see how this blossoms. Currently, along with my twin sister, we are taking a confirmation class to get ready for Easter and we cannot be more excited to be a part of such a wonderful church and community.

As I continue in learning more about the Episcopal Church, my goal with this blog this year is to share some of these revelations with you and share some of the cool things I am learning and to introduce you all to a wonderful book: The Book of Common Prayer.

What should I have done instead of be with him or her?

Hey everyone! Hadassah Grace here. I just wanted to let everyone know that these answers have come after actually living in these kind of situations. It is from personal experience. Don't think for one second that I am giving you advice from an empty place of never experiencing it myself. That would be hypocrisy. That is not who I am. Being that I do hear from Him, I am not about to say things that are not true. No, thank you.

Here is the simple answer: Go heal instead. Go be with G-d instead. Go learn all you can about who G-d wants you to be instead. Enjoy that time when it is just you and G-d. It is a time of growth, of healing, and of learning to love yourself fully, so that in time, your Kingdom Spouse can learn to love you too.

In Matthew 16:33, it states to "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and these things shall be added unto you." Once we are able to fully seek G-d and His righteousness, meaning all that He has in store for us to do, then He will bring us the desires of our heart. We shouldn't be seeking all these other things BEFORE we seek out G-d FIRST! He is the ONLY one who can heal all those broken places in our heart, soul, spirit, and body. He is the ONLY one who can fill in those needs that we never had met by parents or friends. He is the ONLY one who literally meets EVERY need that you could ever need met. He is your everything!

If you think you need someone to fulfill a hole in your life, or meet a specific need, you might want to ask yourself why you think that. There could be something that is deep down in your spirit, that was never met or addressed. A trauma, a deep hurt or pain...it needs to be addressed. It needs to be healed, restored, made whole. The only one that can help you with that, fully and completely, is Yeshua...Jesus Christ. Instead of turning to everything else under the sun to fill in that void, turn to Him. Give Him a shot. You might be surprised at the outcome. Unlike everything else, and everyone else, He'll NEVER let you down. He'll never not show up for an appointment. He'll be there. Just ask Him. He loves you. More than you'll ever know. Don't believe me. I am evidence that He is not only faithful, but that He is good.

Yah (G-d), I just come before you right now, in Yeshua's name, on behalf of all these hurting children right now who are reading this blog. Touch their minds. Touch their hearts. Touch their souls and spirits. I pray that you just give each person peace, Yah. Your peace. Your complete peace and comfort. Show up for them, like You show up for me, like You show up for all Your children. Help them see that You are their refuge, their Healer, their Comforter, and their best friend and biggest fan! You are their Daddy and the best ever! Thank you for helping them. Thank you for helping me. Thank you for being there for me when I needed a hug. I love you, Yah! Amen.
