I don't know what this says about my moral compass, but I would die for Elias T--T I just want him to be healthy and happy. It was such a nice surprise seeing him show up again!
Also I just finished book 1 and I have to say it's become one of my most favorite works I have come across.. ever. Your writing is gorgeous and so detailed; it's really inspiring. Can't wait for the sequel!
I love this! I love every bit about this. Because, this does mean that there is at least something about Elias that someone out there finds endearing. He is going to become a plot point in book 2, along with Reese, so this will not be the end of him. :)

Review: Queens of the Crusades – by Alison Weir
I had previously read Alison Weir’s most excellent book specifically on Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine many years ago so the author was familiar to me. I chanced upon this title in my local library (Caldicot) and thought I’d give it a go. It covers the lives of several British Queens, or rather the historical period in England during which they lived. The period is one of the most interesting…

DISMALIA - Secrets being shared on extreme ends. Demons & Demon Hunters...
"Behold the city, my prima Donna. Shielding the Kingdom from the nightmares beyond. We made a fortified heaven out of this prison. We turned our prolonged executions into glorious blood harvests. Hunting for Demons is our strength. My Dismalia, our theater...
Our will upon the world is accursed, our commanding words are venom and now they spread further like wild balefire. Our true potential is chained while the walls grow ever higher. Hope has lost its way in this made up empire, but one we can glorify ourselves. Caged up spirits but our bodied boundless to evolve without the limits of civilization.
The stars above had denied us the majesty of spell sigils. The demons of the firmament had forsaken us... And now is our time to shine brighter than the stars."
- Huntmaster of the Rokyu Brotherhood, Adrian Romero to his pupil, champion and successor Donna the Baroness.
"The greatest will of our Queen fractured, to shards and splinters. Long ago during the Apocalypse, Berelithian Hunters of Demons challenged our majesty in her own palace deep below what the humans call Dismalia. Their blows were charged with cosmic magic, permanently breaking and burning her cranial crown. Two of her sacred six eyes were lost to eternity. Ever since... Three millennia after, our bloodline is dispersed and weakened. Fragments of our glory have tried to restore their strengths by primitive means.
The Queen is no mere Demon... She is a Devil, incarnating an aspect of Apotheosis. Dread and Terror. Without the crown, the power of her Majesty is crippled. Quite literally, with our kin~" Said in a joking tone. But the matter remained serious overall. The Majesties are not dead, not quite. But the royal triad have truly lost their minds.
The Prince has turned into a melancholic shadow of its former self and prowls ancient monoliths desperately trying to regain his lucidity with violent sacrifices.
The King had embraced the path of brutality, enlarging his body and becoming a juggernaut that haunts the Underworld city of ITH like a penumbral predator, crushing anything that can be found in its hunting grounds, collecting wounds to attract more prey.
The Queen is the most tragic case of all. Her broken halo, her crown... Her power to manipulate reality has been altered. Her mind ascended to the Nightmare and is fractured and her body moves by pure primal instinct. The remaining demons of the court had to lock her at the bottom of our glorious city of ITH."
- Baron of the Dismal Dynasty of the Six Eyed Royalty to Azuaran the Succubus, conspiring for the control of Dismalia.

There is a conversation to be had about the fact that Taylor Swift's album is being played in its entirety across all of iHeartRadio's 868 stations, pushing out the opportunities other artists might have had to get radioplay. That's the literal definition of a monopoly. No wonder she'll hit the top of the radio play charts with this maneuver, because at least 65 minutes (if not the back side of the album, which would take it to nearly twice that length) across EIGHT HUNDRED AND SIXTY EIGHT STATIONS will be dedicated to her, artificially boosting her radio play and decreasing everyone else's. In this essay I will—
