ellis you are correct as always ... i think also apple is held up a lot in the arts sector, speaking from my own experience at various art places both govt-funded and charity ones, you will always find a bunch of macs Somewhere because they have good and easy software for quick photo and film editing. which as a photography guy mumbo will probably prioritise. funny you say mumbo is an uncle kind of guy because i have not quite an uncle but a cousin in law who's the exact same type of invested in crypto and regrets it but generally chill vaguely nerdy ttrpg kind of guy LMAO
