you know i love a lil matchy-matchy moment~

and actually, i accumulated a lot of different asks actually, mostly, interestingly enough asking me about the same roundabout thing: if jersey wears rings, how he feels about jewelry, if he has any tattoos or other piercings, stuff of the like, etc.

but i never got around to answering those because i'm kind of a perfectionist and i get all worked up in my head about how i'm going to answer things because i want them to be perfect ( i keep trying to structure nsfw ask like it's a nine page research essay, smh ) buuut

basically, as we all know well, jersey is…Particular.

particularly abt himself and what is done to him/on him.

( okay, fair warning: the rest of this answer is very long and i just talk a lot about the former question about jersey/his attachments to material things and also physical-emotional things — people — you do not have to read all that...the short answer is yes, kyle does stack a stan 's' necklace with the star of david, i talk about it more at the end, but this intro part is a lot of exposition and information. so if your curiosity does not end there...perhaps i can further it below xx )

a lot of it ties into his ocd and this need to control every aspect of his life, not being able to put it in anyone elses hands but his own because he's scared of that improbability...that margin of error.

it keeps him up at night.

for that reason, even though he has a ton of health issues, diabetes, etc. he is extremely Defiant and Volatile in doctors offices. like, he will start throwing shit, rip ivs out of his arms, ask you to explain what you are giving him In Detail and will probably still refuse to take it.

tbh, the only reason he's taking any medication at all is because he really loves sheila and she is extremely worried about losing him </3

i love sleek, chic, dark academia, tired 1940s evil classics professor, thrift store couture jersey in his dollar store blazers and italian loafers. like my man is an off duty model, forreal. i am obsessed with him.

and actually he really Likes tattoos and piercings and dyed hair and thinks all the little rings are cool because you're like this living art form, this distinct individual, there's a uniqueness, a cool rebellion there he can’t create have within himself, so he combats/masks it as disgust and disinterest because he doesn't like to process his complicated feelings and also doesn't like forming attachments...especially...

...to things he's inexplicably Drawn to.

which is why, initially, upon even just bearing witness to raven of crimson dawn, kyle freaked out because he was like immediately Extremely Attracted to him because he checks all these little boxes in his brain, but his brain, of course, is corroded by mental illness and trauma, so he immediately projects extreme amounts of hostility in raven's direction because he is like you're all chaos and disorder, you're a mess, you throw caution to the wind, You’re Unpredictable.

when he’s actually obsessed w/ that capricious energy?

like he makes fun of stan for all his punk rock boy 'hood ornaments' and 'anarchical embellishments', but his heart starts racing every time stan winks at him and his little eyebrow piecing winks back, or he runs his tongue over that lip ring kyle got hyperfixated on, partially because it's pretty, which...rip, not even joking…

if stan comes out in the support rock, fuck a rockstar tank top, the tiny pants and sports that little lip ring chain thing that connects to the cuff on his ear...it does something seriously ( down ) bad to kyle's brain and stan is immediately getting Railed. soz if you were waiting for stan's autograph, hes gettin ky's all over his body. woops.

but!!! it's mostly bc stan had the courage and hedonism to put something through his lip and live with it. that he could get other piercings, get tattoos, let people handle him, put his life into someone else's hands, let them have control for a second, knowing they are executing the thing you want/need without you doing it...

it's literally All a control thing.

or rather, an inability to lose it.

because he's very particular, yeah, about what he likes and doesn't like, he won't wear any fabrics that itch or bother him, he won't buy something if the hem pisses him off, if he has to wear something he doesn't like, he will bitch and moan the entire day about it. and while it's good to have that level of self-assuredness, it's also kind of a self-preservation and self destructive coping mechanism for jerseykyle.

because he pushes everything out...

but doesn't let anything else in.

and a lot of that changes when raven/stan comes back into the picture, because when they were growing up, stan was this beautiful, glowing fixture of nonconformity, this pillar of strength that was twice as strong as he was, even though kyle was the fighter. because stan fought for self-acceptance and kyle fought for self-loathing.

and really...the reason why his ed developed in the first place was because gerald and society as a whole brainwashed him into hating himself and that people would only digest him if he was in small enough, beautiful, palatable enough pieces to eat so even though he acts out or throws punches: It’s All Within The Lines.

or the confines, rather.

of the person he thinks people want him to be.

but, idk, i'm talking too much. basically, gist is, kyle has a hard time handing over control to other people/being vulnerable and the final piece to that is...permanence.

a piercing...a tattoo...is Permanent.

i mean, sure, they close up and you can get them removed, but you are irreconcilably changed and altered. you are different now.

anddddd sigh, the jersey can't say i love you ask strikes again! because jersey can't say i love you because it's handing over control, because it's vulnerable because it's...permanent and he has extremely deep-seated commitment issues because of all of that.

which means he rarely, if ever, makes said commitments.

so when he Does...

it's a very special thing indeed.

because jersey has no tattoos or piercings on his body.

save for the sun/moon one he got on his ring finger for stan ( i can never decide if i want jersey to have the sun tattoo because he is the sun or if he has the moon one so he can wear rae around with him )

and...One ear piercing.

i was going to go at this in more comical and dramatic way in an old post, but basically, i think kenny/bebe/craig someone basically joked about there being reduced earring piercings at claire's and they should take kyle because he's the only one without pierced ears and jersey gets really defensive about it and everyone's like ooooh! kyle's scared to get his ears pierced, so the competitive and aggressive side of him that hates to lose briefly outweighs the neurotic side and is like "fuck you!!! let's go right now! i'm not scared of anything!"

and he gets there, stan's with him, and he is...freaking out in the little plastic chair with some eight year old girl next to him ecstatically getting her ears pierced for her birthday, bc he's going to have to let someone...do something to him/inflict something on him.

( which actually, i think, is what is really beautiful about j.k and r.s' relationship and dynamic, is that jersey teaches raven that you can't just let people do things you don't want them to do to you just because you feel like you should ft. his sexual trauma and stan teaches kyle that it is okay to let other people in, to do reckless things, to allow yourself to feel and enjoy simple pleasures w/o fear. ft. his ocd

i'm not sure if it's bc she pressed too soon or because she thought that if she surprised him, it might make him less nervous, but it does not!!!! kyle FREAKS out!!!! his ocd goes haywire and basically has a nervous breakdown at freaking /claires/ bc she pierced his ear before she SAID she would and destroys the confidence that he built up to let himself be vulnerable.

it seems like a Silly thing...but i think it says a lot, yknow?

and though it was a serious blow to his ego, kyle only has...one ear pierced because he panicked and could not get the second one done. and it, to this day, is one of the only asymmetrical things abt him. which, i actually think is important to him coping w/ his ocd

( similar to how kyle, sorry slight nsfw, having stan have to ask for things if he wants them, helps him, in a seemingly innocuous way, build confidence in himself/not let things just 'happen' to him without his consent ) because having only one ear pierced means he has to deal with being lopsided and that, everyday the earth doesn't crash into the sun...means that he's okay.

also a cute thing about the one ear piercing is that i think kyle wears like this cute little gold sun dangly one that has a similar ambiance to the sun and moon glasses chain charms? it's his signature.

and other than showering, sleeping, etc. he only really ever takes it out when raven is going off somewhere far away :( and he switches it with a little stan silver earring ( idk kyle feels very gold jewelry bc of his orange hair and stan feels v silver bc of his blue eyes and stuff ) and stan sometimes takes kyle's with him on tour...AAAAA i'm sad

on the subject of rings, since someone else asked me, kyle does not wear rings even though he does like them/they're pretty because they're heavy, they clank against his pen when he's writing, the sound pisses him off...but he wears stan's lil silver emo boy rings when he's away and gaslit himself into liking the sound because the sound it makes against his pen reminds him of the sound it makes when stan is excitedly scribbling song lyrics and singing to him aaaaa IM :(

those mlp infection aus on tiktok have been alright but heres my idea to consider:

the main characters of the au are the cmc. theyre not the lone survivors, and heres why: the infection almost entirely affects adults. this is just like a book i read in 5th grade, thats where im stealing this from.

Applebloom is the self appointed leader, shes best at foraging for food and growing it as well as building re-enforcements for the shelter (which is the clubhouse. it's higher up so they dont have to worry about most infected ponies reaching them.)

Scootaloo is the defender of the base as well as the group in general. shes the one who handles the weapons and is first to sacrifice herself for her friends to get to safety. She says its because he doesnt want to hold them back due to her disability, they tell her she doesnt have to think like that. but its hard not to.

Sweetie Belle is... not all there. sometimes she forgets the apocalypse has happened and that most of her loved ones are dead. Scootaloo and Applebloom take turns sleeping during the night to make sure someone is always lookout. that, and they can't risk Sweetie Belle unknowingly walking into the dark trying to get home.

Partially inspired by one of the best animes ive ever seen: School Live, Scootaloo and Applebloom sometimes, when Sweetie is having an episode, pretend everything is normal. Is the most they can do for their friend, who is clearly so traumatized that her brain blocks out the reality of their situation. Sometimes, Applebloom wishes that could happen to her.

When the infection started, it slowly took over the elderly first. Granny Smith got sick, fast. Big Mac and Applejack took care of her, but only a few days later she would turn into some kid of monstrous creature. Big Mac did the unspeakable act of putting her out of her misery.

Sweetie Bell was sent to go live with Rarity while her mother was sick. Her father began to feel ill too, and didn't want her to get herself and her friends at school sick as well. She could hear over the phone the conversations her sister and father had. How mom was getting worse, how dad was getting worse. How they stopped calling altogether.

A couple days into the widespread sickness, Scootaloo's aunts took a trip to the store to stock up on groceries just incase a quarantine was issued. They were gone for hours. They were gone for days. They never came back. Eventually, Scootaloo traveled outside of her home by herself, and could never return.

Once Big Mac and Applejack started showing signs of illness, Applejack spoke to cousins in other places wondering if they would be able to let Applebloom stay with them a while. But just like everyone in Ponyville, they were experiencing the same issue. At one point, Fluttershy agreed to watch Applebloom until AJ and Big Mac started to feel better.

After hearing that Fluttershy graciously took in Applebloom, Rarity sent Sweetie Belle off to her the moment she started to cough. She didn't want Sweetie to see her like that. She didn't want her to get sick either, and in fact, she probably transported it from their parents house and into Rarity's. That made Rarity angry. Her last words to Sweetie were about how upset she was that she'd brought the illness to her.

Scootaloo went to Fluttershy herself. She couldn't find Rainbow Dash, so she settled for the next best pony. She was shocked to see her friends had been there themselves the past few days. Scootaloo only managed to stay a few hours, because during the night the crusaders awoke to a crash in another room. Upon investigation they saw Fluttershy hunched over a broken glass. There was blood on the floor.

They went to comfort her, but she wasn't herself any longer. When she turned to face them it already looked like she'd been ravened by the infection. She was so hungry. Why couldn't the jar just open? She was so... hungry. Before she could even stand back up, the crusaders grabbed their things and fled to the only place they knew they'd be safe. The clubhouse.

“You look like you can use a breather,” Law’s voice breaks your focus as you feel calloused hands gliding over your shoulders. Despite the disruption, you persist, continuing the work you’ve been immersed in for hours now. 

The raven-haired man sighs audibly, shifting behind you. He leans down, lips brushing the shell of your ear as he insists, “That’s not a suggestion. You need a break.” One of his hands clasps yours, halting your work, while the other hand starts massaging your shoulder, easing the tension that has built up over the hours. 

Succumbing to the allure of relaxation, you sigh in contentment. “Since when are you one to advocate for a break? I always see you working nonstop.” You ask, locking eyes with him.

“Do as I say, not as I do.” Law retorts, voice laced with a playful undertone. 

“Fine, but only for 5 minutes,” you concede, allowing the sensation of relaxation to envelop you completely. 

Law continues the motion of massaging your shoulder, the tension relieving with each touch of his. He then pauses somewhat abruptly, as if struck with an idea. Without warning, he firmly grasps your arm and hoists you up from where you were sitting.

“Huh? What are you–” Your protest was cut off as he began to pull you out of the room. “Wait, but I’m not done yet,” you continue, lightly resisting his pull.

“Last time I checked, I still have 3 minutes of your time, so come on,” he retorts, a determination evident in his voice as he guides you onto the deck of the submarine. He leads you towards the railings before sitting down. He taps the spot next to him, silently urging you to join him.

You hesitate for a moment before complying, sitting down next to him. He immediately pulls you into his side, his warmth enveloping you. 

As if he can sense your thoughts, he speaks up, his voice low. “You needed a change of scenery. You’ve been cooped up in there all day. I bet you didn’t even know it was nighttime until I dragged you out here.”

"I’m not ignorant, I knew that it’s night. It’s not even that late anyways, it’s barely 11” you retort, trying to assert your awareness. 

An amused smirk tugs at the corner of Law’s lips. “3,’ he stated simply.

“What?” you ask, puzzled by his ambiguousness. 

“It’s 3am. You’re about four hours off,” he clarified, amusement evident in his tone. 

You sit in stunned silence for a moment, the realization sinking in that Law is right. You indeed have lost track of time and now you are suffering the consequences. Your earlier declaration of just a five-minute break has faded into the background, as exhaustion creeps up on you. Law seems to take your silence as some sort of victory, leaning his head back against the railing as he gazes up at the star-studded sky above. 

Dots of light freckle the region above, a beautiful and somewhat uncommon sight to behold out at sea since the submarine is usually submerged underwater. You follow Law’s gaze, taking in the breathtaking sight before you. As if on cue, a shooting star streaks across the sky.

“Make a wish,” you mutter softly, feeling the weight of the exhaustion settle upon you. “I don’t know about you, but I wish I could just finish this work already,” you continue with a deep sigh. 

“I’m pretty sure your wishes don’t come true if you say them out loud,” Law remarks, his eyes still fixed on the twinkling heavens above.

“Since when do you believe in that stuff?” you ask, curiosity coloring your tone.

He shrugs nonchalantly. “It comes and goes,” he replies cryptically, as if he is lost in thought. 

You can’t help but roll your eyes with a soft chuckle at Law’s comment, finding his puzzling statement amusing, Snuggling closer into his side, you welcome the comfort and warmth he provides. A gentle breeze dances across your skin, prompting you to instinctively try and seek warmth in Law’s embrace. 

Law notices this, and he reaches out, opening his captain’s coat to drape it over you. Pulling you even closer, he envelops you in a newfound warmth. What had started as a five-minute break has morphed into a much needed respite. As you nestle against him, your breathing gradually slows, the rhythmic rocking of the ship beneath you lulling you into a sense of calmness. Sleep soon embraces you, Law’s arms holding you throughout the night, helping you escape in the dream world before facing what the next day might hold.

Some post Tsc thoughts! spoilers under the cut :)

I have so many annotations in this book. (668 to be exact), so im just grazing the surface of everything with this one sooo part 1 perhaps?

-Kevin and jean. Jeans unrequited crush on kevin. I need to know more about this and I hope Nora delves into the semantics in the next book.

-Also how this relates to Kevin day famously saying it was easier to be straight. I figured this was a common thought among the ravens or at least Riko’s court,but Jean doesn't mention it once throughout the entire book. He brings up his attraction towards men multiple times ,and there was never any denying it. It was just something he accepted, so how did Kevin get the idea that it was easier to be straight and Jean didn't? Did Jean ever think this way and eventually changed it down the line or what?

-Im a sucker for found family and Nora really delivered with this one. Laila,Cat, and Jeremy are making it known to Jean that they’ll always be there and genuinely want to help him. The dynamic between all of them is so tender and I think it’ll be so healing for Jean. 

-Also I hope we see more of the floozy squad in the next book! 

-I need them to convince Jean to try boba at some point, and i really hope his relationship with food gets better. I really love that he’s cooking with cat and I really hope it develops into one of his hobbies outside of Exy. Let this boy live a little!

-speaking of hobbies: Cat teaching Jean how to ride a motorcycle?? I just feel like it would be beneficial(not to Jeremy’s heart but thats ok) 

-This specific moment with cat and jean 

she ran down to the tide to rinse it off with childish glee. Jean obediently inspected it when she brought it back, and she tucked it into his breast pocket with a cheerful “For you!”

Small things like this just really show how much they care about him.

- What’s up with Jeremy's family?? I really want to know what happened to where Jeremy “tore them apart” like what was the scandal his freshman year??? It was mentioned briefly but then Jeremy just decided it wasn't worth mentioning again considering all that was going on? The biggest “im fine” in history fr. Also when Cat is telling Jean about everyone’s siblings she mentions how when you go over 4 kids there's bound to be one asshole, but she only listed 4. So did one of his siblings die?? I might be reading too far into this but! Or it could be that one of them cut off all ties to the family after something happened? Jean noticed how Andrew and Neil moved like they were caught in each other’s gravity, in each other’s space more than they were out of it, cigarette smoke and matching armbands and lingering looks when one fell out of orbit for too long.

I will try to answer all your questions, me and @zeawesomeness were just throwing ideas around for SnapDonnie, so theres quite a bit to talk about!

What does he sound like:

I'd imaging real gurgly when he's like that, but he absolutely hates the sound of his voice, and the fact that most of what he says is muddled. So id say he mostly uses sign language to communicate. while he can still do that

How would he hide it from his brothers:

He would definitely try at the beginning! especially when it starts off as a small growth on his softshell, but eventually the consequences get too big and it gets revealed relatively quickly (at least compared to Open your Shell)

Are my commisions open:

uhhhh, not at the moment, but if there's enough interest in commissions for my art (which would be amazing) then i would be open to opening them!

Is this sensory hell for him?

Absolutely. especially now that flies are attracted to him. he hates it. his shell is consistently moving and it is hell.

My thoughts on him:

he was infected with this venus fly trap-like curse (from what I havent figured out yet, either kraang or mystic)

it started as a growth in his shell, which then sprouted those flytraps (which he couldnt hide)

the energy needed for the transformations makes Donnie ravenous, and the more he eats, the faster he turns. this is the part where his family find out.

yes he was compelled into eating raw (kinda rancid) meat.

they find out that this infection will continue until Donnie is fully turned into a carnivorous plant.

at the end of the transformation, Donnies face would split open and the single flower would bloom.

Small teeth-like spines are growing down the middle of Donnies face.

Donnie has to balance, starving himself without rotting/wilting (bc yes he does that now), while not eating too much that the transformation continues at too fast a pace.

it doesnt help that sometimes he goes feral (and his face does the splitty open thing), and attacks and tries to eat anything in his path. including his family. Ah yes. Angst.

so they need to figure out how to help Donnie before they loose him forever.

misfortune knows exactly how to inflict the most amount of misery in someone.

heres the thing. if it just kept beating its host while theyre down, the host would eventually grow a tolerance to the pain and simply become numb. that means that it cant get any more misery out of its host and it would have to find another one.

So! it allows the host some joy. In cappuccinos case, it primarily involves his vacations :]c before she actually knows what causes all of the bad things in his life she just knew that Everything was always bad and miserable unless she was relaxing. while she was working, things would constantly injure her, nothing would stay organized, and bad things just kept happening one after another, but on vacation everything seemed to be just fine!! Great even! shes just able to surf or relax or nap and just ENJOY things instead of being hit by falling lights and bookshelves. even though every car shes ever been in has crashed hes always been safe on planes. of course its not all sunshine and rainbows because she can hardly even enjoy the break when he cant stop thinking about how AWFUL its going to be to go back to work

BUT!! the point is that her days off are like the ONLY times that he finds peace. Which is partially why hes so eager to catch another break!!! misfortune lets her have these lovely days but also uses it as an opportunity to make bad things happen during/right before her breaks so that theyre cancelled or cut short and shes filled with disappointment<3

this is also why it let langue into cappuccinos life ! of course it could EASILY just kill them but cappuccino was already getting a little too miserable and was far too adjusted to all of the bad luck in his life already so langue was the perfect solution to that problem. And also created misery all on their own like the longing cappuccino feels before they actually get together. And now that cappuccino has langue in her life and theyre someone who makes her so happy misfortune is able to cause harm to them/mess with cappuccino's plans of meeting them and just cause more distress :]c

of course that plan backfired when langue managed to weaken it and make cappuccino's life decent enough to the point it was forced to leave OOPS!!!!

but yeah ,,, i dont know i just love messing with this thang. too much misfortune is bad because then the host will adapt so it has to be a little lenient so the person doesnt feel completely and utterly hopeless >:] and in the event that the host does become useless to it then it simply posesses them to commit crimes and just cause misery to other people than the host before exiting the body and leaving it to bleed out and die

god i LOOOVEEE feral animal asl its so true. they truly could not care less about "laws" or "public decency" whatever that is. the straw hats manage with just luffy but the whitebeards sometimes have to deal with TWO of them? at ONCE? theyre used to ace because sometimes pirates are just like that, pops has seen plenty of them and hes just happy to see that nasty stray cat finally come inside to relax and he simply counts the shredded furniture as a Personality Trait to keep the house interesting. but then sabo rolls up and everyone at first chuckles and says oh well at least one of them has manners. except. sabo is secretly 4 ravenous feral dogs wearing a top hat. sabo is polite until the food comes out when he starts snarling and snapping (he and ace start wrestling on the floor BITING each other for a single chicken wing) or when he gets the Predator Stare and anyone who crosses within view of it feels their hair stand completely on end. marco has no particularly strong feelings about sabo when they first meet aside from "ace loves him, hes probably a freak, and he looks ridiculous dressed like that (kinda cute)" except. sometimes ace and sabo make noises at each other that are so far from human language they sound like an entirely different species. he swore one time he saw ace come up and just Lick the side of sabos face, who bit his whole ear in return like they were discussing the weather. there is something Wrong with sabo for sure. but its not until he and ace are bickering at the table and thatch throws a spare chunk of raw meat trimmings at ace (because theyve learned ace can and will eat raw meat, even the fatty or gristly bits, and as much as marco insists its not good At All for his health, the crew likes feeding large and dangerous animals) and as soon as the meat hits the table both ace and sabo go perfevtly still for roughly half a second before SABO lunges forward and grabs it in his TEETH while ace starts pummeling him for it. the top hat goes flying, theres the sound of the galley bench screeching across the floor and boots and fingernails scrabbling across the wood and the Chief Of Staff of the Revolutionary Army runs, hissing, on all fucking fours, with a chunk of raw meat in his mouth up the rigging while ace quite literally snaps at his heels. theres distant snarling and growling. sounds of tearing fabric. screams of shock and horror from the crew on the deck. and it is in that moment marco comes to the devastating realization that he is unfortunately attracted to sabo, and that his taste in men simply cannot be salvaged

Sabo standing there all prim and proper, all neatly buttoned up and his accent has this crisp edge to it like a winters morning flinty with fresh snow or perhaps new parchment waiting to be scored by the writers pen

And then Ace shows up and the mask slips abruptly something wicked spills past the pleasantries and hes kinda like fangs bared growly in a way only animals get with each other

Everyone up until this point knows the basic history Ace loves this guy, Sabo to put it bluntly would die to protect Ace with his life, they share a childhood the jungle that fucking jungle, this means Sabos also a beast but what kind theyre hoping if Ace is anything to go by he would be the same

Except Sabo brings out a monster in Ace and clearly hes so much worse, the raw meat spectacle and then the poor crowsnest lookout scrambling down trembling cold sweat like what the fuck happened to those two?

Eventually they comeback down sabos clothes are in tatters and Ace is just naked lmao theyre blood smeared and everyone hopes its the meat but its wishful thinking because thats way too much blood for a fist sized piece of flank steak

Depending on my mood it won’t be updated too fast with each chapter, but I’ll try my best. This will be alternated between Dabi’s POV and your own too.

Plot: You are a new recruit to the League of Villains. Coming from a dark past, you’ll try as much as you can to change this fucked up society and get your revenge. But what happens when feelings for a certain raven haired arsonist get in the way?

Walking past the narrow street, Giran was eyeing the building where he was supposed to meet the new recruit. All he knew that the recruit was a girl, who Tomura Shigaraki had requested a few days ago for her to be found. Giran didn’t care what Tomura would do to her, all he wanted was the money in the end.

Finally finding the building, he almost stopped on his traces when he saw your figure walk out of it.

“A new female member? I’m so excited!” Toga said happily as she jumped around the place.

“I wonder what her quirk might be, since the leader specifically requested for her to be here” Spinner said.

“I bet she is awesome! No, she could be a bitch!” Twice exclaimed. All this talking and babbling around were getting into the scarred villain’s nerves. He was smoking a cigarette, leaning to the counter of the bar and a glass of whiskey in his right hand. Most of the time he just wanted to either leave or kill everyone in here, but he had to stay if he wanted to make his own ambitions a reality. Also, not that his crewmates weren’t that bad, they were just annoying.

“Why so quiet Dabi? Aren’t you excited to see who the new member will be?” Toga asked coming near him, touching his shoulder.

“Not a single bit” Dabi muttered annoyed “Now get off me you lunatic” he said as he puffed smoke from his mouth. At that moment Tomura Shigaraki entered the bar, the room immediately quieting down as he sat on the stool, getting a glass and pouring it with whiskey.

“Giran and the new recruit are on their way, Tomura Shigaraki” Kurogiri’s voice was heard. “They might take less than 45 minutes to arrive”

“Good” Shigaraki replied. Then he turned his head to look at Dabi smoking, annoyance plastering his covered face. “Do not smoke inside. Get out” he ordered.

“As if I care” Dabi replied, getting on Shigaraki’s nerves like usual and making the leader question himself why the hell has he not disintegrated this patch-work of a man yet. “I smoke wherever I want”

“Bet you won’t say the same when I disintegrate your burned face. Oh wait, you won’t even manage to say anything at all” Tomura said threateningly.

“Bet!” Dabi smirked, cigarette between his teeth as his hands lit up on hot blue flames.

“Now now, why don’t we calm down shall we?” Mr.Compress said, always so firm and mature, the most mature of them all along with Kurogiri. Dabi and Shigaraki, the strongest villains of the team and yet behaved like siblings, always picking on each other and annoying everyone. Suddenly a knock silenced everyone, as their eyes were directed towards the door.

“They’re here already?” Magne said surprised. The door opened to reveal Giran, a cigarette between his lips.

“She’s here” the only words he said. Tomura Shigaraki had his eyes glued on the door waiting for the new member to enter. It was kind of an awkward silence. Steps were heard and that’s when you entered. Wearing only a baggy hoodie which hid your beautiful body, only your plush thighs to reveal, fishnets and boots covering your legs. It felt like the bar suddenly had lack of oxygen. All eyes were glued on you, especially Dabi who earlier pretended that he didn’t give a shit. He had shared bed with many women, plenty of them who he just found them pretty enough to fuck them stupid. But you? The one who just walked in, had a beauty that could literally blind you, an unique aura that surrounded your figure.

As your enter, your eyes start wandering around to see the people that surrounded you. They went from Shigaraki to Toga, from Spinner to Twice, from Compress to Magne, to the others until....

Your eyes locked together. Dabi stared back at you with those azure orbs of his. Sudden awkwardness and tension was felt around the air as you kept looking at him. He thought you found him disgusting, shocked that a human could look like this, and he didn’t feel that surprised. Who could blame you? But there was not a single glimpse of disgust shown on your face, instead you stared in awe..and almost blushing? As Dabi kept staring back at you, kind of hungrily we might say, your cheeks started heating up and Dabi noticed that. He still couldn’t believe what he was seeing, you blushing at him. The whores he had fucked would blush because of his monster cock, that’s what he always thought.

Then he saw your nervousness and embarrassment washing your face as he smirked slightly, giving you a hint that you were giving yourself away too much. Your eyes went somewhere else, to the boss, where you decided to keep the seriousness.

“So, you are (Y/N) . To what do I owe the pleasure of finally meeting you? I really thought you wouldn’t even accept to come here” Shigaraki said in his crispy voice.

So (Y/N). Her name is (Y/N). What an angelic name to such angelic human being, Dabi thought. You were pretty yes, but you were also hot. He couldn’t contain himself, if he didn’t jerk off soon he would literally expose himself to the others. Imagine how it would feel breaking you...

“Well, first I need to see who I will be dealing with, what our goals are and what I’ll be benefiting from all of this” your soft voice said, yet it was like a voice who sounded innocent but at the same time serious and threatening. Like a little devil in angel disguise.

“Nice point” Shigaraki said. “Well, our goal as the League of Villains is to destroy this rotten society, where corrupted heroes...” and so he kept talking and talking, clarifying every question you had and giving answers. Then the conversation was finally done.

“Okay so, joining the League doesn’t sound bad. Besides, I am already being chased by the police so... at least I can give them a better reason to chase me” you smirk. Toga jumped happily around the place as she wrapped herself around your arm.

“I’m so excited that you joined! So happy! Another female in our group, how neat! We could do lots of fun stuff together with Magne, also did I tell you are so gorgeous?” little Toga kept talking and talking, until Dabi interrupted her.

“Hey crazy, you better sit your ass down and shut up. We don’t want to scare new members away do we?” Dabi said, sticking out another cigarette from the pack.

“Oh I don’t get scared that easily” he heard your voice say. “Especially not from such adorable person like her. But who might you be? You seem to be so caring about the well-being of new members?” you raised your eyebrow.

Oh yes, cocky and sarcastic, Dabi thought. That added to the flavor.

“Right now I go by Dabi. I don’t usually give a shit about new members but you seem like a kid who needs guidance” he said cockily, that shit-eating grin on his face making itself known.

“Well listen here ‘right now I go by Dabi’, I don’t think your leader would even suggest me being here if I was just a weak kid so.... don’t be surprised if I can even beat all of you here at the same time” you chuckle. Dabi sat up as he leaned closer to you, closer and closer until you started backing up. Now he could see you more clearly, that skin of yours which he felt the need to leave marks on. He noticed your blush from earlier showing up again, oh my. What a beautiful sight. He would have fun with you being around the League.

“Oh doll, you wouldn’t even dare....” he whispered as he blocked your tiny figure with one of his toned arms leaning against the wall. He heard your breath hitch, as you gulped and tried to avoid eye contact. His large hand grabbed your chin and lifted your head up.

“Do not fucking touch m-"

“Look at me...” he deeply whispered, interrupting you.

“I am looking” your meek voice said.

“No you weren’t” he said as he leaned closer. The heat radiating from your cheeks could even be felt from miles away. What the fuck is wrong with her, he thought. You looked exactly like these schoolgirls who saw their boy crushes on the hallway.

“Hey Dabi, you can be less intimidating for now and maybe just let her adjust to the new people” Mr Compress said and Dabi decided to pull away.

It took a moment for you to calm down. As you kept getting to know other members, Dabi went out and sat down in the balcony of the base. As he smoked, Magne came out too, sitting down on his right.

“Pretty, yes?” she suddenly said.

“What are you talking about” Dabi asked.

“The new member, I’ve never seen such beauty before. I bet you noticed it didn’t you..” Magne replied.

“And? Why are you telling me this?”

“Because I noticed the way you looked at each other , the way she stared at you” she said as she started litting a cigarette up.

“Yeah I did notice, what a fucking weirdo. Why did she even stare like that, I couldn’t even understand what was going on in that stupid head of hers..” he adds.

“I don’t think ‘weirdo’ is the right term to describe that kind of situation” Magne chuckled.

“Then how do ya explain that?” Dabi asked impatiently. Magne turned at him, removing the cig from her lips as she spoke.

“I bet you’ll cringe to what I’ll say to you right now, but not that I care. I’ll just tell the plain truth”

Dabi leaned closer, paying attention to what Magne was about to say, hoping that what she’d say would at least clear it up. Why did he even care for it to get cleared up in the first place? Why was he even here? Why did he-

“Ever heard of love at the first sight?” Magne said as Dabi stared at her with a dumbfounded look on his face, his eyes wide open.

What?

Dabi bursted out laughing hysterically as Magne stared at him irritated. If his ducts weren’t burnt, for sure he’d have tears in his eyes by now.

“Oh c’mon, ya did not just tell me this Romeo and Juliet crap!”

“I most certainly did” Magne answered. “And it is not crap. It is something common that happens in people’s lives”

Dabi then came close to her face, his turquoise eyes reflected in her glasses.

“Have a look at my face and reconsider your little theory again” he said as he stood up to leave. “Even if this crap is real, it does not apply to me”

Magne let out a defeated sigh as the villain stood up and left. Deep down she hoped it was exactly as he said, just for the sake of that girl. Definitely crushing on a man like him would be like playing with fire, which in the end would get you burned and ruined forever.

Conclusion: yep. This got me in the heart, even if it isn’t the show itself. Still stuff that bothered me. But overall, this series of movies is not so bad. Not so great, at times, but not so bad. Honestly, I think they did the best they could and that’s really all I could ask for. And it was nice seeing them all in live action. For this movie, an 8/10. For the series of movies? 6.5/10. Not remotely comparable to the original series, but still a worthwhile watch and something I’d recommend if you want a recap of the series but don’t have time to watch it all again.

I have thoughts on Barbara’s intentions and my instinct is gregory needs to keep her name out his mouth. I do think it’s really important that Janine stood up to Barbara, just maybe gregory made barbara seem worse than she was

My immediate reaction was this one of my favourite episodes of the season - lots of excellent Barb moments, the kids, more mr johnson, story arcs I enjoyed and felt completed.

Janine standing up to Barbara was a really big deal for her considering her hatred of conflict and worship of barbara as a mother figure. It made me really proud to see how far janine has come.

But the longer since watching the less I like it. And it’s two main things:

- the jacob melissa room mate situation feels like jumping the shark for plots sake and not something realistic for those characters. So as much as I enjoy them and their dynamic and their growth it just feels fake.

- I dont care about the librarian. The set up feels like she could stick around and I just don’t care for new characters, I like my main people. (But then the same apprehension was had w the district people and they’ve not seemed to be around much).

I do still really like this ep and it definitely ranks highly in the season, just idk, some eps I enjoy more over time but this has made me feel more confused as to what will happen next I guess.

i've also seen it as a really significant moment of hannibal almost giving up his neurotic control of trying to tie the past to the present/future and to control the future. every single pivotal moment in hannibal is in hannibal's control (for the most part). but ive always interpreted the end of twotl as him giving will the reigns purposefully, fully, and completely. will stays very carefully vague and gives double entendre non-answers to hannibal in their last conversation before the dragon fight. hannibal accepts this with fond smiles and — "no greater love hath man than to lay down his life for a friend."

i feel like their relationship, the teacup, is (somewhat) whole again with the consummation that was the dragon fight. maybe will was right in digestivo, and the teacup is broken and will never gather itself back together again. maybe this is a new teacup, or they metaphorically glued it back together again, lol.

and then, as you said, will tips them over the edge, the kintsugi teacup falls, and it could shatter, or it could stay whole. for the first time, the teacup is in will's hands. he is in full control of the direction of the teacup, in control of the direction of their future, and hannibal is okay with this. because at least he has will, at least the teacup is repaired. that's all he ever wanted.

Favorite character: a tie between Charly and Mary.... i literally cannot chose between them Second favorite character: Frank, to complete the trio, he's such an asshole but i do love him

Least favorite character: Not a proper answer because I really don't have a least favorite character but gussie was honestly done a little bit dirty by the show.i understand that it's a very easy way of showing how the friendship collapsed overtime but the show makes it seem like it was all gussies fault and i feel so bad for her because it wasn't as if she was deliberately doing it it just sorta happened but whatever.

The character I’m most like: hm. i think maybe Act Two Frank specifically just bc im so so in love with theatre. merrily is so so special to me bc it really captures that magic. not a character but i really really relate to Opening Doors bc thats just what writing a show is like or making any art reallly.

Favorite pairing: Frank/Charly/Mary not just platonic not romantic not sexual but a secret fourth thing (including all the above) they loved each other so much!

Favorite moment: Opening Doors which has grown on me since i heard that Sondheim said it was his only autobiographic song. as well as the previously discussed reliability of it, it's such an earworm, like ive had it stuck in my head basically alll year its crazy. Also it shows how close they were together which makes it incredibly heartbreaking also

Rating out of 10: 9/10. its one of my favourite musicals ever! obligatory point reduction for whatever was wrong with the original production (Hal Prince wtf were you doing casting children??)

The Raven Cycle

Favorite character: Ronan Lynch <3 Second favorite character: oh god. im just going to say chainsaw bc i love her so much and i don't want to single out any of the other protagonists bc then i feel bad.

Least favorite character: Maggie Steifvater is such a great author I cannot name a single character I'm not 100% invested in, even ones that would be so easy to get bored by, like Mr Gray or Greenmantle I need to learn everything about them ever.

The character I’m most like: gansey tbh. to the point where i try not to think about it

Favorite pairing: all of the guys (aka blue, gansey, adam, ronan, noah and maybe henry, i don't know him so well yet). basically the same as my merrily answer, labels don't really matter: what matters is they all love each other so so much its insaneeeeeee. im also a big sucker for whatever ronan and adam have going on

Least favorite pairing: tbh i wasn't so invested in maura and the gray man at first.

Favorite moment: i love it when ronan is protective of chainsaw.. he loves that bird so much

Rating out of 10: 11/10 aka so good its literally having a detrimental impact on my school results and mental health/sleep :)

Hamlet

Favorite character: Hamlet Thee Dane. truly the character of all time

Second favorite character: i think about ophelia every single day

Least favorite character: depends on the production tbh. like i used to not care about laertes and polonius, but i became obsessed with the former either last year or the year before, and the version i read this year (Nicki Greenberg's graphic novel which i would recommend) had a really engaging interpretation of the latter which was so good i got sad when he died.

The character I’m most like: hamlet is literally me btw.

Favorite pairing: tragic danish boyfriends is a classic and brilliant but hamlet and laertes also upsets me so so much. like they are literally perfect foils

Least favorite pairing: ugh. gertrude and hamlet sexually. freud suck my dick

Favorite moment: yes ive seen/read it 5 times now. no, i've never not been emotionally destroyed by the ending

Thank you, Im glad you like my work! Well geez I have a lot of favorite pieces of mine. I’m not sure which one is truly my favorite, but I have a few recent ones I’m pretty proud of. (apologies for not replying sooner, I didnt get this until now)

My jack stauber piece. I really liked what I did to the background with the stars and overall the composition of it. I remember listening to him back in 2018 when I was younger. It was kind of a light bulb above my head pointing my finger up “EUREKA!” moment because I completely forgot about him and wanted to draw someone at the time. I needed to draw him, so I reviewed one of his videos (which was his el dante video) and had to keep pausing frames for a good reference photo to draw him LOL. It was a cool video though with the visuals with the silly little fella. I love his music and his artstyle in his videos so much, he really inspires me into my work. So dont be surprised if I do draw him again, he is so fun to draw. One thing about my artwork is that sometimes the final product does NOT look like the original piece, so here is the traditional piece before and the final piece after.

My syd barrett piece. I like how this one turned out, I went really in on the detail in the background, and overall it was a fun to draw! you can tell I really enjoy drawing backgrounds in my art, it brings the piece together in the end :-) One fun fact about this drawing is that the quote is from Pink Floyd’s song “One of my turns” because I was listening to that song while I was drawing this! I started listening to pink floyd 1 and a half years ago, and still dont really know much about the band, but I remember I was looking up the singer of the band and it was syd barrett. but the day I drew this is when I realized he died. I was shocked because Im still a new fan, but bro. Everytime I find a super cool band or artist, I always end up finding out the singer is dead or something.

My Luke Crain piece. I always look back at this page in my gallery. It just looks so cool with the ravens flying across the page with the feathers and everything. The “are you okay?” bubble was such a great touch too Im so proud of that little detail. The reason why I drew this is because Luke (the character in the page) had such a interesting backstory and I felt strong emotions towards his character. He has a drug problem and his family doesnt really involve him much in events because of that. It just makes me feel dread for him, because you can tell he’s depressed in the series, and he wasnt even a “bad drug guy” more like a “sad guy that uses drugs to cope”. I feel like I can resonate with him because I feel like that way sometimes too. Feeling like a outcast from the rest of them or that something is wrong with you. I know that sounds cheesy lol, but its just that I felt so bad for him. Thats why this one is my favorite because it kind of means something to me.

Okay thats the rest of my yapping, but whoever actually read all of this Im happy that you did! It makes me feel good that someone is actually interested about the process about my art or in my art in general.

throughout this whole review series I've always given the two parters the same score, usually because in the RTD era the episodes were both of similar quality. however in the moffat era one episode always seems to be a bit stronger than the other, and it is here that I don't follow my rule because i could not give heaven sent anything other than a perfect score, because it is perfect. the mystery was not only intriguing, but entirely solvable with everything you're shown in the episode, not only that but the doctor going through grief of billions of years of dying and coming back without any of his memories, punching again and again at grief, at the days that go by without the one he lost by his side, only to finally break free is beautiful. its heartbreaking, and clara telling him to move on was as harsh as it was necessary. he needed to hear it, and it does help him shatter that wall, no matter how long it took, no matter how much he literally kept retracing his steps, going through the extremely repetitive motions of grief over and over and over again, he eventually breaks through, and thats so beautiful. now lets ruin it! lets tie in the completely stupid and boring plot of the hybrid with the return of gallifrey, and the doctors not happy to see them oh no no hes so mad, and its great for a bit, him waiting in the barn, not so much as sparing a word for anyone not rassilon, its great. but then rassilon is easily overthrown, the doctor taking his place. and it turns out he didn't get over his grief and move on, and clara doesn't face consequences for her own faults, they both seemingly backpedal on their amazing development in the last two episodes, for an ending thats super cool and i do like, but is way less fulfilling. i love clara exploring the universe, but i would rather have her own up to her mistakes and face the raven. its tragic the lengths the doctor goes to for clara, but he just went billions of years worth of grief, and him growing past that worked and was beautiful. honestly for some things it just didn't feel like moffat considered the wider storyline, like the hybrid thing was always stupid but not only is its conclusion extremely dumb but its not even super definitive, the ghosts guarding the matrix was dumb, totally not necessary same with the weeping angels down there we get it moffat people really liked blink now leave them alone, and this applies to heaven sent too but, why does clara invoke this reaction, when the doctor is always losing those close to him? the doctor has moments where he grieves yes, but all he does in hell bent sees so, out of character, and i know hes supposed to be a bit scary and not like himself but, it just doesn't work, and that's really sad because this started out really amazing
