You watch his eyes, which are carefully watching your expression. “You know,” you begin, “it’s actually… really sweet. I don’t think you’re missing anything, Minseok.”

He tugs his mask slightly over the bridge of his nose, and smiles towards his guitar. “No, im serious, what about the lyrics do you want to hear more of?”

Your gaze is fixated on his eyes now, carefully studying his expression, or at least the little bit that you can study from under the mask.

Mila in Chillin’ in the DREAM 8lace Ep.4 : Time Files, We Fly

When Mark, Jeno, Jisung and Chenle started to play ping pong, Mila didn’t really join. She played one game, failed within a minute and then sat down with a smile on her face.

“Yo, Jaemin, can’t you just buy me a loaf of bread? Did you buy Nutella?” Mark asks Jaemin over the phone.

“Mark, Mark, Mark,” Mila tries to get his attention. He looks at her. “Ask for peanut butter.”

“Then, what about peanut butter? Did you guys leave already? Ah, okay.” He puts his phone in his pocket and gets back into his game of ping pong. “Oh, they’re here?” Mark cocks his head to the side as the four dreamies look towards the driveway. Mila gets up and walks over to where Haechan, Renjun, and Jaemin are getting out of the car.

“Hello~. Wa, you guys bought a lot. I knew I should’ve gone, keep you from buying the whole store,” she jokes.

“You could at least help us carry it all inside,” Haechan responds.

“I think I’m okay,” she smiles sarcastically.

“Turn it up!” Mila calls to Haechan when hearing Leave The Door Open by Bruno Mars. She sings along and dances a little bit. She lip syncs the lyrics as they play, a large grin on her face. She then does the snap dance with Renjun and Haechan.

“Go out! Go out,” Renjun points. They walk off the steps while dancing and mouthing the words of the song emotionally. Mila grabs Jisung’s hands, pulling him with her. Jisung laughs nervously as she dances with him for a few seconds. She then goes back to the stairs to lip sync the high note with Renjun and Haechan.

She then dances to BOOM with everyone happily. Then Candy by Baekhyun comes on.

“Mila, didn’t you produce this?” Renjun asks her.

“Yeah, this and a few more songs on the album, I think,” Mila answers.

“What? You produced this?” Jisung and Chenle ask at the same time.

“You guys didn’t know?” Mila asks them.

“Aish, what haven’t you produced?” Chenle flops back down into the hammock.

“I hope it turns six o’clock soon,” Haechan. says as he checks the time.

“Why?” Renjun asks him.

“Baekhyun hyung’s song will be out,” he replies.

“Wow.”

“It’s Bambi, right?” Mila asks Haechan.

“Yes,” he nods. Haechan then puts on 7 Days. Mila sings and dances to it with the rest of the members who are outside. “Okay, everyone!”

“Is it out?” Jisung calls.

“What came out?” Jeno. asks, confused

“Baekhyun hyung’s song,” Haechan grins giddily as he starts the song.

“Damn, this sounds even better outside of the studio,” Mila says when the chorus hits.

“You produced this, too?” Haechan shrieks, making everyone laugh.

Mila steals a piece of meat from where Jaemin is grilling and eats it. “Wa, Jaemin-ah, I love you,” she gushes. “Is it good?” Jaemin queries. “It’s fantastic. Haechan! Come try this!” Mila yells.

“Is the army stew good, Mila?” Mark asks, making sure that she has something to eat, with her being a picky eater and all. “Yeah, I’m not the biggest fan of army stew, but this is pretty good,” Mila smiles.

“Do you think I could shotgun this?” Mila asks Mark after they say “cheers” with their beers. Mark chokes on his drink before laughing loudly.

“What?” Renjun asks the pair.

“Nothing, nothing,” Mila waves him off while trying not to laugh. Mila then gets up and goes to the kitchen. “What are you making?”

“Tomatoes and eggs,” Chenle responds.

“Oh, I think I’ll just cook some plain eggs.”

“I’m making these for everyone, though?”

“Yeah, but I don’t like them.”

“You don’t like them,” Chenle says at the same time as Mila.

“Is there another pan?” Mila asks.

“Yeah, by the sink,” he replies. She then starts to whisk one egg in a bowl, making herself scrambled eggs.

“Is it done?” Mark asks as Mila and Chenle come back outside together.

“Yes,” Chenle answers.

“Mila, what did you make?” Jeno asks.

“Just plain scrambled eggs, I don’t like tomatoes with them.”

“The meat is good, Haechan,” Mila compliments. “It always is when I make it~,” Haechan responds.

She sings free love with Chenle and Renjun.

Mila doesn’t eat the pork belly that Jaemin made because she doesn’t like it.

“It’s just normal ramyeon, right?” Mila asks. “Yes,” Haechan replies. Mila puts some in her bowl, takes a bite, and smiles. “It’s good, Haechannie.”

After winning rock, paper, scissors with Jaemin, Mark, Renjun and Chenle, Mila goes inside with Mark and Renjun. She sings Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi with them.

“Of course! You?”

“Of course, I have” your husband replies back. “Wow, this is early. They should send this on Sunday then” he reads them again. “When did they send this?”

You think for a moment. “Umm…. around 6 hours ago?”

“Oh wow. Did you all just chat all day?” your husband gets curious.

“Not really. The chat happened after lunch, and then…. It goes on.”

“I see….” he reads the notes again. But he suddenly tilts his head to the side. “After Candy? Bambi was my last solo album before enlistment.”

“Oh. He meant by; he fancies Candy. So, I guess he wants to hear more Candy tunes, grooves, something like that…. after your discharge” you can see your husband nods at your explanation.

“Wow. Never knew he likes Candy more” your husband is intrigued by Sehun’s music preference.

“Well…. personally, I love Candy too, if to choose one” your husband raises his eyebrow when hearing your response.

“Oh, really? Why is that?”

“Hmm…. I can’t explain…. I just like Candy. The tune, the grooves…. Especially at the chorus part. When you start listening to it, it’s hard to forget the melody, the harmony of the song” you nod at yourself.

“Oh, really….” you sense something cheesy in his voice, but you keep listening to him. “I thought you feel hard to forget the lyrics….”

“I knew it” you utter softly, but your husband hears it. “What do you know, sweetie?”

“Oh, nothing” you pretend to not hear anything.

He stares at you through the voice call. All of a sudden….

“Girl I’m your candy….” You giggle loudly right after he sings the first of the chorus.

hi! i don't know why, but i was re-listening to favorite and bambi a long time ago and i noticed that baekhyun says "because you're my favorite"; and in nct 127's song one of the lyrics was "girl you're my favorite". also in smcu express on last year, kai from exo (the same band of baekhyun), appeared with 127. it could be that nct 127 and exo's universe are connected? baekhyun was telling us since february that ilichil was having a comeback?

Umm when it comes to lyrics of a song, it doesn’t always relate to the lore. There are still songs that talk about love or anything relevant in real life, and the lore could just be in the MV. Like Glitch Mode for example, the lyrics talk about the feelings of a boy meeting his significant other but the MV shows about how the Dream Lab works. I’m sure both songs were just talking romance and it was just a coincidence that they have the same line.

I know that one clip of Kai and 127 that shook many people, but that clip is just for a transition in the concert. Kai’s power is speed and he can appear anywhere he wants very fast despite the distance. He appeared in the Neos’ city and walked together because they were about to perform next. I never really talk about those transitions in the concert because even though it does have lore, it doesn’t show how each artists/groups are connected; I just think that’s not enough as a proof too. They are set in their own SMCU world/location but the interaction in those clips are just for transitions between the performances. Even that one Minho clip when he called Ningning. Minho was driving in a car and wanted to get to Kwangya (because that’s where the concert is) but he used Ningning and Naevis’ help to get there because of the P.O.S portal; probably as a short cut. They show their character roles but not an actual story line. They can meet but their stories don’t intertwine.

I’m pretty sure some artists in SM know schedules of other artists in there, most probably because they are close like Baekhyun and Taeyong are besties plus they are from SuperM. Baek probably just took a peek of 127’s schedule or he was informed about it when discussing his with the staff. He told the fans just for fun, or to hype them up. Lore connections between artists are usually hinted in MVs, and not too obvious. And even if there is, it’s not usually their story line (because each artists have their own) but more of dealing with the same villain or a reccurring character like Naevis (the SM butterfly).

okay to be completely honest, you played this song nonstop when it came out solely because you have the fattest crush on ten. who doesn't? eventually you'd played it so often that it became permanently etched into jake's brain and he couldn't stop himself from humming it at random times during the day. it drove him absolutely insane. but when he starts missing you during long schedules and promotions, he finds himself listening to the song on repeat because it reminds him of you. he pictures you crazily dancing around your apartment and shouting the lyrics passionately into your makeshift microphone aka your spoon and instantly becomes a mess of smiles and soft laughs. of course, he'd never tell you any of this because he can barely tolerate the 15 times you blast the song in a day.

if there's one thing you love doing, it's supporting your boyfriend and his music. it really came as no surprise to either of you when you officially declared fever to be your couple song after only listening to the first harmonizing vocals at the beginning. it really has no correlation to how your relationship actually is like, but it's too good of a song to not claim it. you made sunghoon teach you the choreo to the entire song which took many long and excruciating weeks, but after finally getting it down you were doing the hand movements all over the dorm with ease. you play the song when you think you're alone in the dorm only to turn around at some point to find sunghoon playfully mocking your dancing skills to which you threaten him by dancing more aggressively than before.

➪ sunoo - bloom bloom by the boyz

you both know the cutesy moves that go along with the chorus by heart and proceed to leap out of your seats to passionately dance to it any time the song comes on no matter where you are at the time. new is your collective spirit animal. after obviously nailing the chorus, you then proceed to dance around aimlessly together until you're laying on the floor laughing breathlessly. you tend to listen to the song together when one or both of you need a mood lift because it's nearly impossible to listen to it and not feel joy inside. it's such a sweet and pure song that perfectly matches yours and sunoo's relationship.

➪ jungwon - puzzle piece by nct dream

you started out listening to the song quite often after their reload album came out because of its calming and mellow sound and you loved it before you had even met jungwon. it wasn't until a few months after you'd started dating that you realized just how much more you resonated with the song now that you'd found him. you could never help the giddy smile that grew on your lips from then on each time the song played and eventually you couldn't contain yourself any longer. you sent the song to jungwon one day while you were missing him particularly more than usual and let him know that the song reminded you of him. fast forward to present day and now jungwon has made it his daily mission to serenade you with the song at least once per day, even if he can only manage to get out a small snippet before he has to go again. because you are his missing puzzle piece, too.

it's a bop and a half, both of you jam to this song daily. it started out with it playing during one of his group's jam sessions and you frantically blew up his phone with texts screaming about how much you loved the song and the group. it turned out that you ended up teaching him the choreography for once and he adored how happy and confident you became while teaching him. sometimes he pretends to forget a move just so he can watch you pop up from your spot and effortlessly show him how it's done. he feels so proud watching you get in your element and he plays the song frequently just to get to see you out dance him for once. but don't get too comfortable, this is your only exception.
