If you don't use your power for positive change, you are indeed part of the problem. Shinee / Taemin / Sunmi / all Kpop / Occasional BTSAsks open! All welcome
Oh i just know there's some text chat in there same way for jm like how they talked about aespa.
bongpd: you can step on jm right?
Scooter: hehehe hhehhe
That #1 of jm's must have hit them hard cause he wasnt supposed to get that first cause he was there without bangpd's formula and support.
The picture I'm getting is of a total asshat who wants to play god. The thing is, Bang might understand how army have a warped yet strong moralistic instinct. I think that given enough dirt, the tide could turn. I think MHJ gets that. She's not stupid, even if she lost control today.
Hopefully the shaman can work their magic so more comes out.
2Min world is all aflutter today because the pair wore very similar outfits to rehearsal together, they had a gym date, and they posted the same gym date photo (MH on IG, TM on Bubble). How cute.
There are some really weird shippers out there man... they just keep getting weirder and weirder. And I love a good ship! But like, some people really need help.
There's an interesting thing happening with the whole recognition of Hybe's profit over skill strategy. Fans of the company are re-centering the standard for singing to that of the company's groups instead of acknowledging the problem. That feels like a symptom of the fake news/subjective reality context of contemporary life.
In previous decades, there was some consensus over reality. What I mean by that is, we could all agree on what a good singer sounds like. We could debate who was better or best, but the debate between good vs bad singers wasn't controversial. Now, we live in a time period where people's identities and communities are rooted in beliefs (not facts) about art, and if these beliefs are lost, so too are people's identities and communities.
I think tying your identity, self-worth or community to someone else and their art is dangerous. We risk skewing reality to maintain our status quo if we are too entrenched. Donald Glover's Swarm was a good satire and statement on this phenomenon. I think there are already a lot of real-world consequences at play.
I am convinced it's because numbers are all they have. They've tricked themselves into this life where high numbers are validation and meaningful, when really all it signals to is to the growing bank accounts of certain men. ๐คทโโ๏ธ It's incredibly hollow.
Do people enjoy anything here?
Jungkook opens an IG for Bam and the first thing the fandom does is track how many followers it gained in how many hours and which idol's pet account record that broke?
No, anon. They don't enjoy anything because they have lost the ability to. Caring about the number of followers of a dog's IG account sounds exactly what anyone sane would think of: that is absolutely mental.
Everything needs to be quantified by accountant-like stans. Such a bleak perspective.
That man, Bangpd, sat there and said he gave okay to Jin and V quickly cause they are handsome and he was sure they'll get more fans.
Yeah, he doesn't care for skills. He just wants to make some quick money.
It's interesting to see this being acknowledged widely now. Years ago, you'd be drawn and quartered for suggesting it. But I guess now that women are shown to be lacking skill, people are happy to point it out. That sexism is not lost on me.
