I've written before that the Iranian attack on Israel is pretty unprecedented, and I was thinking in terms of the history of this specific conflict, but it's actually true on a bigger scale as well.
They launched at least 331 airborne weapons that Israel has intercepted as well, more if you take into account what was intercepted by other countries. Most of the weapons were launched out of Iran itself, but some were launched by Iran's proxies from the territories of Yemen and Syria.
Now, the suicide drones? Take about 8 hours to make it from Iran to Israel. The cruise missiles? Around 4 hours. And the ballistic missiles? Those are the ones that would cause the most damage and would be the hardest to intercept, they actually leave the Earth's atmosphere, travel in outer space and re-enter right before they strike, and they move at such a speed that they make it from Iran to Israel within just 10 minutes. So imagine what it means, that Iran launched all of these weapons at different times, from different locations, but coordinated everything to make sure they'd all hit Israel at roughly the same time. That was done in order to tax our defence systems, to maximize how much would get through and succeed in hurting Israelis. Despite that, 100% of the drones were intercepted, as were 100% of the cruise missiles, and 99% of the ballistic missiles. Only one person (a 7 year old Muslim Bedouine girl, Amin al-Houssani, was injured, please keep her in your thoughts) was directly hurt (though over 60 more people were indirectly harmed).
Defence systems usually aim for a success rate of between 80 to 90% interceptions, so the fact that this MASSIVE and UNPRECEDENTED attack was launched, designed to penetrate all of the defence systems that could be employed against it for maximal damage, yet Israel and the coalition that came together (including Arab countries) to stop Iran's attack managed to make sure that less than 1% got in? Unbelievable. The attack was unprecedented, and so was the defence. I can tell you, even some of the Israelis who worked on developing our defence systems for years felt the success rate had actually exceeded their expectations. That said, the attack was bigger than anyone in Israel thought it would be, too.
Just to really drive home what a ballistic missile is like, this is just the engine carrying part of this ballistic missile, which was intercepted over the Dead Sea (Iran launched at least 110 at Israel, 99% of which were successfully intercepted):
But even intercepted airborne weapons cause damage. Little Amina was hit by debris from an interception. I'm sharing a vid, cut from the news (it's just for visuals, so I didn't translate it), which shows one of the few hits inside Israel (filmed by Israeli Muslim Arab Bedouins, you can hear one of them calling in panic to his friend, Ramadan), and then the debris that the IDF collected and removed by trucks, to give you an idea of the size of these pieces of weapons, falling from the sky, after they had flown across 1,600 kilometers (~1000 miles):
Bottom line, it's no surprise that the Israeli Chief of Staff made it clear that there will be an Israeli response. We don't know yet what kind of a response it would be, or when it will take place, but there will be one. This kind of attack from Iran just can't be met with silence. If it were, that would imply acceptance of the massive and unprecedented nature of the attack, which in themselves constitute evidence that Iran very much did intend to cause Israel real damage.
That means if Israel accepts the attack with a shrug of, "hey, we inetrcepted it, and it only cost us 5 billion shekels, so we can just look the other way," then next time? Iran will launch an even bigger attack, to try and get past this remarkable defence. And there will be a next Iranian attack, no matter what excuse they use in order to launch it.
In related news, the Iranian-funded terrorist organization Hezbollah has launched two attack drones at Israel today, which did not set off the warning alarms, crashed in Israeli territory, caused a fire, and wounded at least 3 people.
Meanwhile, this is a reminder that while the Islamist regime of Iran has had a lot of victims since its inception in 1979, no one has suffered at its hands more than the Iranian People. It's no wonder that there are signs of Israel support in Iran, even under that oppressive dictatorship. Here's a graffiti seen in Tehran:

Absolutely cracking. A sort of take on Sinbad but with more historical accuracy (apart from the demons, marids, etc), with a middle-aged retired lady pirate getting the crew back together to take on a Frankish coloniser/sorceror/baddie. It's just fabulous exuberant fun." I cannot wait for more!

Allard’s anemonefish, also called the two-banded clown, are a hardy, bold species of clownfish, which tends to roam further from their anemone than many clownfish do. They often attack other fish that get close to their anemone, fiercely defending their home and eggs from predators. They will also lure fish to their anemone in order to feed the anemone, as these fish are not immune to the anemone’s stings like the anemonefish.
While the Allard’s anemonefish may roam further from their anemone than most species of clownfish, they still crave familiarity and their comfort zone at the end of the day, as they stay with the same anemone for life and depend on it entirely for their survival. If a smaller, weaker, more passive fish joins their anemone after them, they may bully them, though they will deign to coexist with other semi-aggressive fish.
All clownfish are hierarchical, territorial, and competitive to some degree, and have strict dominance hierarchies in their anemones. They usually live with a partner or small group in their anemones, but they can be quite aggressive towards anemonefish of different species. The non-breeding clownfish in an anemone do not help the breeding pair tend to their eggs, as they are always looking for opportunities to oust the main breeding pair and take over the anemone themselves. The main breeding pair, however, works tirelessly to tend to their eggs until they hatch, fanning them to make sure they get the right amount of oxygen and eating bad eggs to make sure they don’t infect other healthy eggs. These clownfish are also monogamous, pairing for life.
Sam is dependable, diligent, and protective. Ami is ambitious, obsessive, and possessive.

At last I have posted the whole family now for the explanation.
Adonis's mother passed away when they were 4 and that sent their father into a frenzy
He drank and smoked his life away beating Adonis and blaming them for their mother's death
Once they came out as non binary the abuse got worse
Astrid who is their mom's mom was always there for them and supported their journey
When they became a teen she fought a court battle and won custody of Adonis
During highschool they met an amazing girl and soon started dating which for a while she was their only friend until they met Odessa and Genniva
Towards the end of highschool Amina and Adonis woohooed for the first time and got pregnant
Her mother was very unapproving at first and kicked her out upon graduating her and Adonis moved to willow creek
Astrid is a famous curator and rich so she lends them some money to get through college
Amine give birth to twins (Naveen and Estella) after her horrible birth experience she decides to change her major and become a doctor
They finally graduate and start their careers as a doctor and a chef
They soon decide to have another child (lottie and yes their all named after Princess and the Frog characters) since they both want a big family
Amine reconnects with her mom while pregnant with lottie and she gets to know the children
Then she has the baby and they've outgrown their house at this time they have 3 kids a cat, Sumo (he died 🥲) and a dog, Riot and they need more space
So right before the twins age up they move to Windenburg
Estella is very upset about the move because she has a hard time making friends but Naveen is ecstatic they the twins age up into teens and lottie is a child
Once they get settled in someone new moves in with their neighbor and Estella immediately becomes entranced it takes weeks before she works up the courage to talk to her and once she does they hit it off
Meanwhile her brother is out hoeing around and ends up messing around with Estella's bestie she tells him to not break her heart so things don't get messy
Lottie ages up and is as uninterested in love as ever all she does is reach abt archeology, play video games, and swim.
She loves it so much she starts the Copperdale him swim team
Eventually Stella asks Lori to be her gf and she says yes
Naveen asks Jerrica (estella's Bestie) to be his gf officially and she says yes...but Naveen keeps sleeping around eventually Jerrica catches him cheating and she breaks it off
And this is where we are now I left out some things but this is like a summary I am so excited to be able to share this family w/ you
🌿Casimir Funk, biochemist born in Warsaw in 1884, is considered the father of vitamins.
He was responsible for the invention of this particular term, after discovering that a substance belonging to the "Amine" group and today known as "thiamine", was able to cure "beriberi", a serious disease of those times. , caused by a diet focused exclusively on the use of polished rice.
🌿In fact, the first term that Funk coined was "amine of life" then transformed into "vitamin" and only later, due to its ability to cure beriberi, did it take the name of "vitamin B".
🌿 There are eight group B vitamins and they are all water-soluble.
* B1 or thiamine,
* B2 or riboflavin
* B3 or niacin or PP
* B5 or pantothenic acid
* B6 or pyridoxine
* B7 or biotin
* B9 or folic acid
* B12 or cobalamin.
🌿Today we will focus on vitamin B3.
🌿Foods rich in vitamin B3 are: legumes (chickpeas, beans, green beans, snow peas, peas, broad beans, soy, tofu, tempeh, Edamame), but also fish, offal, red and white meat, peanuts and wholemeal bread.
🌿Vitamin B3 (also known as PP or simply Niacin, is a vitamin that enters the metabolic mechanisms that allow food to be transformed into energy (ATP); it also helps keep the nervous system, digestive system and skin efficient .
🌿It is part of the group of water-soluble vitamins, i.e. those vitamins that dissolve in water and do not accumulate in the tissues, so they must be taken daily with nutrition.
🌿It must be said, however, that the body is able to convert the amino acid "tryptophan", an amino acid useful for the synthesis of serotonin or good mood hormone, into niacin, so we can also include foods rich in tryptophan such as dairy products (cow, goat, sheep and buffalo milk and its derivative products: cream, ricotta, butter, yogurt and other fermented milks such as kefir).
🌿A balanced diet is able to provide the necessary daily quantities of vitamin B3;
for this reason, to satisfy daily needs, it is not essential to take supplements, which is essential for other substances.
🌿Other times, vitamin B3 supplements could be helpful in the event of an increase in cholesterol levels if statins cannot be taken.
Vitamin B3, in fact, is able to increase high-density lipoproteins (HDL), i.e. the so-called "good cholesterol" which help to remove low-density lipoproteins from the blood, improperly known as "bad cholesterol".
🌿Supplements are also used in cases of serious vitamin B3 deficiency which can occur when you are forced to take certain medicines.
Or in the case of prolonged gastrointestinal disorders which can cause malabsorption of vitamin B3.
* B1 o tiamina,
* B2 o riboflavina
* B3 o niacina o PP
* B5 o acido pantotenico
* B6 o piridossina
* B7 o biotina
* B9 o acido folico
* B12 o cobalamina.
