Kind, patient, but reserved. Darienne is the embodiment of responsibility. Daughter of the founding family that established the beach town where everybody lives, she also holds the secret of the town passed down generation to generation making her the current guardian. She makes her responsibility a top priority, keeping town people out of the loop and always walking the streets looking for anything out of place or anyone that could threaten the peace and letting out the secret.
Darienne understands how lonely her life's work is, so she tries her best to be gentle and kind of everyone she meets on a daily basis to keep a resemblance of a social life, and encourages her little sister, Bianca to live a normal and pleasant life, for even Bianca doesn't know the burden her older sister carries.
Currently Darienne is looking into the mysterious appearances of ancient and paradox pokemon, and hoping they are not signs of the beach town's unfortunate destiny.

Fire Type Trainer Teto, Braixen & Marowak (Alolan)
Read more for today’s Teto Trainer Trivia Territory below:
Alright now fire is an interesting one, got some stuff to unpack here. First and foremost, I originally had two separate ideas for trainer designs for Fire Teto here. As you can see below, I sketched a ribbon gymnast design akin to what I ended up with to match with Braixen, but I also sketched out a second design as I was considering something to match Alolan Marowak (hence the different colors). My initial thought from here was to have two Tetos per type, but quite frankly I don’t think I would have been strong enough to finish this project in time if I went with that, and I already felt like I was struggling a bit to come up with designs for some of these types, so I decided against it.
So! To compromise, I decided to stick to doubling up on Pokemon for certain types that had multiple good choices. I also went with merging elements of both Fire Teto designs into one, which resulted in a much more interesting design I think. So to sum it up, the idea to include two Pokemon in some of these illustrations came from Fire Teto.
As for Pokemon selection, I thought Braixen would be a good fit due to the hair in its ears, as well as its performative nature as seen in Pokken Tournament. The performative angle is how I came to consider Marowak as well. As I mentioned, these Pokemon also influenced Teto’s design. I originally wanted to incorporate fire performance itself into the illustration, but the ribbon made more sense for the lool. Let’s just say Fire Teto here does several kinds of performances, fire or otherwise. As long as it’s got that flare to it, ya know? And that's basically everything!
Tomorrow, check back for Ghost Type Trainer Teto!
