And he just rolls his eyes and goes "well sorry i'm not a nerd like you" but the second you turn your face away and glue your eyes to your homework he glances your way and smiles like an idiot. Because he thinks you look so pretty, even when your eyebrows are furrowed and your pen is pressed against your lips as you scan the paper in front of you. There's a particularly hard question that you can't seem to understand, and your boyfriend can practically see the gears turning in your head. But he still thinks you're the prettiest person in the world, and his dorky smile only grows wider. And when you notice and ask him what he's smiling at, he knows that he can't tell you that he's just admiring you and your beauty, he could never tell you that!

That's why I love Bruce and Dick's relationship so much. They are so codependent on each other. While Bruce saved Dick (not from being angry. He wasn't an angry robin, istg.), Bruce also would have died without Dick.

Before Bruce met Dick, he was on a one way track to his own ending. He was reckless, didn't take precautions, and was on the verge of being consumed by the darkness of which he was fighting.

At this time, a boy came along that shined light down upon him (literally because of the circus stage lights lol) and he was taken by him instantly.

With a new partner-a child-by his side Bruce was forced to take precautions, learn how to operate as a human being, and was just happy to have someone who bright and cheerful. He used Dick as an emotional crutch from losing his mind.

"Still, the addition of Dick Grayson into the Master's crusade has made a difference in him."

"I do believe I saw him smile. There have even been occasions in the pantry when I could just discern the muffled sounds of laughter echoing up from the dreadful cavern beneath the manor."

There are so many occasions where Alfred talks about how extraordinarily important Dick is to Bruce.

Dick raised Bruce.

To borrow a lyric line that explains this:

"Take a broken man right in my hands And then put back all his parts"

Dick's "i can fix him" issues which are a massive part of his relationship with Deathstroke come from acting as a child parent to Bruce.

But the greatest part?

He still is.

Again and again and again. Dick is the only person Bruce relies on. He never tells anyone his secrets or worries unless that person is Dick. And often he bears the brunt of the work by his family. Both Tim and Jason have gotten angry at him for taking Bruce's side or supporting Bruce but the thing is, he's the only one who can next to Alfred. Tim has accused and praised him of being too much like Batman sometimes but when you raise a kid (adult-sized) I think you're bound to forgive them while also admonishing them for their mistakes.

They also use Dick as the unofficial spokesperson to talk to Bruce

"Hey. Tim told me about Zur. Are you alright?"

Side note: Tim tried talking to Bruce earlier but Bruce kept ignoring his concerns.

For each robin, Dick acts as the emotional go between Bruce and them.

Another reason why Dick and Tim are so close is because Dick acted like the parent during Tim's robin era. It wasn't until recent comics that they had Bruce actually even caring about Tim.

Dick is literally the light of his life. Without him Bruce would've lost it. It was the perfect combination of Dick's cheerful personality, strong ethics, and tragic backstory that caused Bruce to take him in and it was these same traits that helped him grow. Because Dick's distinguishable trait is that he humanizes people. And Dick humanized and raised Bruce.

so saint and enot are both created by sliver of straw, enot after saint

both were created for the same purpose- ascending iterators

saint was unable to. they can ascend any creature except for iterators and well. yk the ones you already cant saint is NOT the focus here though :3

enot DID have the ability to do so, but it backfired, as sos didnt realize it could only be used once. the ascension kind of used the puppet as a way to access the rest of the structure, shutting it all down and ascending the iterator (guh idk the specifics there)

her intention was to have them try it out on like. a creature. but while talking to him, she turned to sos and accidentally ascended HER.

in those few moments before everything shut down, she sent out the triple affirmative- turns out it was false, as the ability was used once and never again.

they were created with a dark form after sos saw pebbles' state, so the darkness wouldnt affect her.

after the triple affirmative, sos was gone and dead. several iterators were incredibly concerned, and after sending overseers, discovered only enot, always curiously waiting and watching.

enot, a simple slugcat with a failed purpose, known as a god killer.

(oh yeah btw enot can kind of cause dreams almost, walking through them for short times to speak to the one having the dream- this is how they discovered nightcat in pebbles' can)

enot very rarely lies, instead going silent with a smile if he doesnt want to answer

when she enter fp's can to free nightcat, pebbles was genuinely so scared of the "god killer" that she literally just. let nightcat go bc she was so focused on distancing her puppet from enot

saint remembered them when he returned with nightcat, and immediately tried to convince rivulet not to allow enot to stay anywhere near them (it did NOT work)

saint was very close to sos but fled before enot ascended her out of fear of the other slugcat, and after learning about what happened, doesnt trust enot and likely never will.

18- What was the hardest fic to title?

Lol this made me realize I didnt write anything this year except for my WIP which was already titled. but if I answered this question just about my fics in general I would say All Things Beautiful! That was kind of the working title for a while but I couldn’t think of anything I liked better.

26- If you had to choose one, what was THE most satisfying writing moment of your year?

Well! Without spoiling anything, probably the scene between Viktor in Nikita in the most recent chapter of ACTM. And the aftermath. A lot was building up to that and it was an opportunity to write Viktor with a level of shocked vulnerability that I don’t think he’d had so far in the fic

30- What’s something that you want to write in 2024?

I’ve got this fic idea (which you know about 😘) that’s kind of Viktor grappling with the first year of his retirement while coaching and living in Hasetsu with Yuuri! I’m hoping it materializes:) And also of course ACTM chapters 22-????

ANSWERING THIS SO LATE THAT VIN/WENDY ARE BACK TOGETHER I'M SORRYYYY

I'm actually cackling at you acting delulu because I remember I dropped many MANY hints of the Wendy/Vince break up and you were in my inbox completely ignoring them and me thinking "damn, am i being too subtle???"

Its so funny (and terrible) to be answering this late, because I can totally say the things I was nervous about. So ORIGINALLY Vin/Wendy didnt get back together, they actually broke it off for good and Wendy feeling very isolated from her friend group relapsed in her eating disorder.

But then Wendy kinda girl bossed her way into getting back with Vince, which was not planned, AND opened up to Bella, that was also not planned at all. So I scrapped that storyline! I still want to do something with her E.D, I remember I got an ask ages ago that was something like "Wendy refuses to eat because she's feeling queasy, Vince thinks she relapsed and tries to push her, only to have it come back up and he realizes she's actually sick", so I'll probably write that! A more mild version of what I originally had in mind!

Haha, now this is a fun one <3

[Now I know that my drawing specifically featured my Fem! Lovely OC, but I will be keeping all details of this HC gender-neutral as the more people who like it/want to adapt it the better in my mind <33]

This got a tad longer than expected so I’m gonna put it under a cut <33

Y’know for the last decade or so Sam’s always had the inside joke when Vincent of “I wouldn’t let you touch my sibling with a 10 foot stick.” Due to Vincents…suggestive nature, especially during his- as token by the fandom- Playboy Millionaire phase…

Not only that, but during the same period of time, but there was even a poll in the clan once where the question was ‘Who would you not want to date your younger sibling’ and Vincent won.

Dramatic irony <3 But I digress-

Sam first learning that Vincent’s Lovely was his little sibling quickly followed the whole Adam situation- so the beginnings of them meeting was the bitter aftermath of that. So no trouble for Vincent j u s t yet.

Though, once the dust settled on that, the realization really started to set in for Sam that Vincent, playboy millionaire flirtatious Vincent, was…involved with his baby sibling.

Especially after Lovely accidentally told him that Vincent broke in and waited on their bed for them to come home. Whoopsies. Oh, and also bit them. Double whoopsies. (In lovelys defense, they thought Sam already knew. Spoiler: he didn’t <3)

So, all and all, it ended up being a very eventful night one night when Sam chased Vincent through the vast ruins of Wonderworld till Damn near dawn, determined to wipe Vincent’s slate clean- their goose chase eventually being stopped by William’s intervention, who spent the entirety of the next day with them together in a room playing middle ground to assure Sam didnt kill Vincent.

(Though, if William hadn’t of intervened, Sam swears to this day he would’ve thrown Vincent of the top of the Ferris wheel once he caught up to him. Vincent says he would’ve never caught up to him.)

So basically, Vincent almost got thrown off a Ferris wheel in the end. Hope that answers your question :) <33333
