Thank you for finding my last request!

I read this one shot on archive of our own, female!Steddie, runaway bride Steve, bartender Eddie. I think Steve was running away from marrying Tommy and ended up at Eddie's bar. Steve got a cupcake on the way to the bar and there was a line about how seeing a bride walking down the street in New York wasn't strange to see. I couldn't find it under the Female Eddie and Female Steve tags.

Those ’70s Comics: 946

Inspired by episode 513 - “Your Time Is Gonna Come”

Comments: I’m not sure what I think of this comic today (particularly the last row of panels). But when I wrote it, I believed Jackie would take her and Hyde’s tense situation into her own hands (pun intended). On the show, she’s depicted as a monogamous and sex-positive person. In this moment in the comics, she’s feeling disconnected from Hyde, so she makes the first move at reconnecting: a physical one.

Jackie touching Hyde’s crotch in the hope he’ll engage with her, while possibly in-character, strikes me now as off. Imagining if Hyde were the one to try such a move, going for Jackie’s breast or lower -- it’s a boundary issue.

Were I to write and draw this comic today, I’d remove the major boundary invasion. Perhaps she’d place her hand on his knee instead, making her act still intimate but (significantly) less sexually so. I’d have to consider this element carefully before to figure out the best revision, but for the purposes of this commentary, my point has been made.
