A ⇴ ATTENTION

There’s an attentiveness in Wooyoung that you always seem to bring out, although he likes to think that he cares for everyone, everyone also knows that there’s an extra part of that that’s just reserved for you.

B ⇴ BICKER

Although bickering isn’t Wooyoung’s style, especially as he likes to think of himself as more mature, you’re the one that brings that side out of him. You can often see him biting his tongue as he doesn’t want to say anything to you, but eventually he can’t help himself as you bring the bickering nature out of him.

C ⇴ COMFORT

He’ll always be by your side whenever he can tell that you need comforting, no matter how much you protest that he doesn’t need to worry about you, Wooyoung will never listen to you. He knows you better than you know yourself at times, especially when you want to try and convince him that you’re alright.

D ⇴ DISAGREEMENTS

It’s usually rare for the two of you to disagree, you’re both good at shutting an argument down before it surfaces and sets off between you both. Wooyoung is the more likely of you both to carry something on though, especially when he’s absolutely confident that he’s the one that’s right. You can’t help but laugh sometimes at how stubborn he can be, but that just ends up usually annoying him even more.

You couldn’t really remember getting to know Wooyoung, it always just seemed as if he’d been around. Being together is the most important thing to Wooyoung when you guys hang out, if you want to stay at home, he never minds, but if you want to go out somewhere then he’ll be more than happy to offer to drive at the same time too. Most of the time, Wooyoung will simply do whatever it is you want to do.

The two of you have a habit of correcting the other whenever they make a mistake, especially when you’re speaking. If you stutter or say the wrong word then Wooyoung will tease you about it, but you’re always ready to get your own back when he gets confused about what he’s trying to say as well.

Together it feels as if you have so many inside jokes that it’s an impossible task for you to be able to remember them all. You have so many jokes that you forget most of them, and so that moment when you suddenly remember one of them is like gold dust, that you have to tell the other person about as soon as you can.

There’s a pride in Wooyoung that refuses to let anyone else even think of themselves as your best friend, as that role is definitely his. If someone acts as if they know you or if you’re super close with them, Wooyoung won’t be afraid to challenge them and embarrass them when it inevitably gets revealed that he knows far more about you than they do, reminding them too that he’s your best friend.

K ⇴ KICKS

Wooyoung got a kick out of making you laugh, being the reason for your smile was a huge deal to him as your best friend, it almost felt as if it was his responsibility to do that for you. He loved knowing the way to tickle you, and especially bring a smile to your face when you were needing cheering up.

L ⇴ LOVE

He loved how understanding you were of who Wooyoung was and what Wooyoung did, and how you always supported Wooyoung no matter how busy he was with his work schedules. If he had an event coming up, you’d try and be there to show your support, or if he wasn’t able to see you for a couple of weeks because of a lack of time, you appreciated that work needed to come first for a little while.

The two of you first met when you were in school, but aside from that your memories were pretty vivid. You could remember just being around Wooyoung when you were growing up, just like how he could always remember sitting beside you and trying to copy your homework when he constantly forgot his.

summary: when that essay was assigned to y/n, she promised herself Wooyoung never should have read it, ever.

English is not my first language loves, trying my best, enjoy :)

"What’s that essay about?"

"Ah! If you think I’m gonna tell you what I wrote you must be mad!"

The strong scent of coffee was playing with her nostrils as the boy got up with an annoyed look on his face, got around the table and fell ungraciously in the seat beside her.

"Why do you always have to be so stubborn?" The boy asked, his index knocking on her temple.

"Yah!" She protested, turning to look at him "leave me alone".

"What? You’re becoming cocky too?" Wooyoung’s eyes were so open in shock y/n thought he might have dropped them on the floor if he hadn’t been cautious enough.

The coffe shop were the two were hiding was full of people, hustle and bustle filling their ears.

"I don’t want you to read it Wooyoung" the girl exclaimed exhausted, sighing loudly.

"Why?" The boy couldn’t help but ask, his eyes suddenly sharp "is there something I shouldn’t know about?" He suggested.

Y/n’s cheeks getting redder by the second, as the boy stretched his neck, eyes peeking over to the paper sheet in the girl’s hand but y/n was quick to hide it away.

"Ah! Really!" Wooyoung looked a lot like a spoiled kid now, his eyes as slim as those of a leaf, his cheeks flustered as his hands were clinched in fists.

Y/n couldn’t help but laugh softly.

"What was the title anyway?" The boy asked as he looked her way, more annoyed than ever.

Y/n smiled softly as she got closer to the student’s face.

Wooyoung’s cheeks were burning too now as he looked at her expectantly, "I" y/n said, her voice coming out so low Wooyoung wondered if he was imagining it; "won’t tell you".

She fell back into her seat, a pretty giggle on her lips as Wooyoung now didn’t only feel flustered, but embarrassed too.

"What a brat!" He spat as he got up from his seat, his eyes full of disdain as he made his way to collect his things and leave.

Y/n was so proud of her previous teasing that she let her guard down; Wooyoung in a desperate move flew forward, his hand grasping the paper in her hands as he snatched it away, a victorious grin on his face.

"Wooyoung!" y/n got up quickly, her heart exploding in her chest as she tried to reach for the paper back.

But the boy was mischievous enough to make her suffer as he read a word every few seconds, not forgetting to glance back at the girl every time his eyes left the page.

It went on that way for a full long phrase when he suddenly stopped, his giggling coming to an end too as his smile was replaced by a confused look.

Impressed, with ink on a blank paper, lost in a mist of words, was his name.

He didn’t seem to have processed well, but that was, indeed, his name.

What was he doing in that essay?

What did she write about him?

That was the moment y/n tore the paper from his hand, the look on her face one of pure rage, mixed with the purplish color of shame.

He din’t have the time to ask her though, because as Wooyoung’s mind was processing, y/n had already stormed out of the coffe shop and was walking rapidly down the street.

Her silhouette as pretty as ever as Wooyoung felt the brightest smile come to his face, "hey you dork!" He screamed after the girl racing behind her "do you like me?".
