This softens Shen Jiu, but in a way that is believable. He’s still cutting and defensive and doesn’t explain himself, but he’s less motivated by hate than what I’d consider canon. Like, his self-hatered is still there, but his hate of other people is less his motive.

I do have the familar frustration with miscommunication, but it hasn’t detracted from the story yet.

9/10, if you like your SJ with a soft underbelly.

PEACE MAKES PATIENCE POSSIBLE

If I was to break up my meditational progress from the time that I subscribed to Paramahansa Yogananda’s lessons, I would roughly break it up as follows:

For the first 5 years, I read about meditation more than I practiced it.

The next 5 years were given to making meditation a habit.

The 5 years thereafter were spent overcoming the conscious, waking, thinking mind.

After about 15 years of receiving Gurudev Paramahansa Yogananda’s instructions, I began my journey through my subconscious mind.

It took me roughly 5 years of visiting my subconscious mind regularly in my meditations, before I outmuscled it.

It is now 3 years and 7 months that I am shaking involuntarily through my meditations. The shakes are due to freed life energies rising up the spine.

From my observations over a number of meditations I can tell that the meditational route for life energies is yet to be carved out of the body. I believe that the exit is through the third eye somewhere in the forehead.

As I understand Paramahansa Yogananda’s writings, life energies are to be freed from their unnecessary expenses in body-mind dot-knots. Thankfully, I seem to have some success in this step.

After life energies are freed, they are supposed to rise up the spine and into the head. That’s the whole of Pranayama meditation: the freeing of life energy by relaxing the body and calming the mind. Kundalini meditation begins when freed life energy begins its ascent to the head. It takes many meditations for freed life energies to carve a way up the spine. It has taken me roughly 2 years since March of 2020.

Once surplus energy breaches the head, it is experienced as Peace. Since June of 2023, my sense of hearing has interiorised for me to be able to perceive the sound of life energies in my head. In my current meditations, I am made aware of where life energies are gathering when I perceive a percussion strike coming from within my head. The awareness, however brief, undoes tons of mental imagery that could have sought my attention in the absence of the blessed vibrationless sound.

I have a feeling I have tons more of mental imagery to trash. I have a feeling that the purely perceived percussion like strikes are going to be a part of my meditations for the next few months, if not years. The percussion strikes I now ‘hear’ continue to turn my attention to the back of my head. The attention is placed in the central part of my head but slightly to the back.

For the blessed sound to take on a straight route from the centre-back of my head to just behind the centre-forehead, is probably going to take me another 2 years or more. Chakra sounds are an indispensable part of one’s spiritual progress.

Once in the bulbous head, how is the meditator ever going to know where blessed life energies are unless there was the clear and blessed indication of perceiving chakra sounds. If life energies dissipated from the head in the same vibrational manner as the spine, all advanced meditators would have neck aches.

Today was good but sullied by mandatory telephone call with mother as her work have been chasing her without success and so went to me for help. I prompted her to do what they needed her to do. Felt really reluctant when dialling out but couldn't work out another way to deal with her work place that doesn't end with someone criticising me for not doing enough. That's definitely the big fear, the thing that always happened as a child. Abusive parents standing over me haranguing me for not being smart enough, tidy enough, quick enough, organised enough. Near constant criticism and being told what I was lacking, at least from my memories. My father would use the expression 'you stupid bitch' when I was still not in high school yet. My mother seemingly decided she couldn't stand me randomly one day after I went through puberty. I am annoyed with myself that I reacted immediately without thinking and called my mother. I would be well within my rights to just ignore and archive that email, I'm sure her work place would eventually make contact with her. I fear she will be fired and try to say 'and its all because bekindtoyou4007 didn't let me know I should stop ignoring my employers because they were getting annoyed!' Side stepping of course all of her actions and omissions leading up to that point... I resolve that on the next occasion I will slow down and talk to someone like H about it because he's good at keeping perspective. Having to talk to her is always horrible, today on the telephone she was aggressive with me for even knowing her workplaces number - again completely side stepping the fact I've had to contact her workplace on her behalf for over a year now and she's never once complained about it. I think my resolution should be a wider 'stop doing nice things for horrible people'.

Hier, quand j'ai écris mon dernier billet je me suis rendue compte d'une chose, c'est que vous, anonyme de tumblr, vous êtes parfois bien plus présents, à l'écoute et soutenant que mon propre entourage. Hier matin, j'ai écris à une amie de longue date pour lui faire part de mes mésaventures et je n'ai eu aucun soutien, elle ne m'a pas répondu et n'a pas cherché à savoir ce qu'il en advenait et comment je m'en sortais. J'ai également écris à IG, la personne à qui je parle tous les jours, à qui j'ai littéralement dit que j'avais besoin de réconfort, chose que je suis incapable de dire en temps normal. Et bien, je ne vais pas réitérer. Je me suis juste sentie bête de croire que je pouvais compter sur lui, qu'il pouvait être là pour moi, et me rendre compte que ce n'est pas le cas m'a rendu bien plus mal. Mais au moins, je sais avec qui avancer et comment.

He didn't even have the decency to land directly on their doorstep. They didn't have the decency to include me in important life milestones, he reminded himself, shaking his head a bit. It wasn't like he didn't text Neil an obnoxiously high amount, or that their old Fox group chats weren't used. Yes, he knew that Neil and Andrew deserved a bit of privacy, especially when so much of their lives were usually in the spotlight. However, there were certain ways that one went about getting married, and of course those idiots had gone about it in one of the only ways to truly and completely get it wrong.

He was busy sighing and mentally piecing together his lecture when his suitcase was taken from his hand.

"Hey," he said, stopping himself as he looked up into the face of his cousin. "Andrew, you can't do that at airports."

"Remind me to pre-order your guide on how to live a perfect life," Andrew said with a shrug, popping a mint into his mouth. "Are you coming or not?"

One Of my friends told me that at Beit Hansen which used to be a hospital for lepers ....they are making sandwiches for soldiers and for those who have been evacuated. It took me a time to get there as it is on the other side of the city but I was just so relieved that they found something I could do sitting down and for over three hours I sat and peeled hardboiled eggs . I cannot imagine how many chickens have been laying eggs. Others were making salads, meatballs, eggplant, packing the sandwiches......of all ages. Boys and girls carrying out the cartons as soon as they were filled. More and more tomatoes being brought in. People of all ages scurrying all over the show. One of my friends is doing the washing to the displaced. It is being brought to her and then fetched but cars. A picture of me and a young girl who remembered me from the demonstrations
