Friend, if you need to hear this today:
Nothing can separate you from the love of God - Romans 8:38-39 says so.
Jesus is always with you - Matthew 28:20 says so.
God loves you with an everlasting love - Jeremiah 31:3 says so.
God can do the impossible. “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” Luke 18:27 says so.
God is working all things for your good - Romans 8:28 says so.
These are all promises from God, because they are in His Word; and every promise, every affirmation in the Bible is for EVERY believer. So, if you are a believer, they are for YOU.
2 Corinthians 1:20 says, “All of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.” (NLT) Amen!
Friend, if you find yourself in a test, a trial, a situation that you aren't able to fix by yourself, God can help you.
• God can take your mess and make it a message you can use to help others.
• God can take your test and make it a testimony that you can share to bring people closer to Jesus.
• God can take your trial and make it a triumph that you can shout to the world in praise of what God has done for you.
• And God can change a victim into a victorious Conqueror - Romans 8:37 says so.
• God can do anything, because His Word says so and all of God's Word is truth.
Friend, when you need help, go to the Word, which was God-breathed and written to teach and help you - 2 Timothy 3:16 says so.
Find the promises of God that you need in your situation. Pray over them, believe in them. Speak them loudly over your life. Keep praying and never give up; God is listening. Glory to God! Amen! 🙏🕊️🙌

Every Scripture is God-Breathed (213) - September 30 2023
Play on other Podcast Apps God Breathed His Own Word. The Creator authored Himself, His Word, His Living Word, His Son Christ Jesus. God by His Holy Spirit authored the Bible and not man. Man was inspired by God to write what he heard in his heart to write from the Holy Spirit. It is critical to start to think like God thinks, not like we used to carnally think. He thinks based on His nature,…

What We Need to Know About God’s Will
By Greg Laurie “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” —2 Timothy 3:16 Sometimes people claim that God told them to do a certain thing, yet it directly contradicts what the Bible says. The truth is that God will never contradict what is written…

Canon [Under] Fire: But Remember, the Canon Shoots Both Ways
Canon [Under] Fire: But Remember, the Canon Shoots Both Ways
The Canon is the official standard list of books that make up the Bible. People ask all the time, “why are those books in the Bible? Why aren’t other books in there as well?” People unfamiliar with Scripture are often critical of it without doing any research about where it came from or how reliable it is.If you are curious, here are some facts about the Canon [under] Fire. How did the Bible Get…

Living His Word
Tumblr media
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. — 2 Timothy 3:16-17
The Bible is not a book like any other book. The Bible is the Word of God. True, the Bible is written in the words of human beings. It has to be, or we would not understand it. But the Bible makes it clear that its words are the medium for the Word of God. Scripture is "breathed out by God," our verses for today proclaim. The very Word of God is revealed to us indirectly through the words of human beings. Behind the approximately forty authors of the Bible was the one God who inspired them all.
Since the Bible is the Word of God, it should have a status in our lives that supersedes any other book. We may learn a lot from other books, but the Bible should stand above them as the ultimate standard by which they are assessed. If other books fail to measure up to the standard or if they contradict it in some way, then they should be critically evaluated as such. The Bible gives us perspective and knowledge that cannot be acquired in any other way and, as a result, it should inform, guide, and direct any further search for perspective and knowledge on the world we live in.
Given what the Bible has for us, if you want to be a "man of God," if you want to be a person who is complete, then you must be a person who has been taught, reproofed, corrected, and trained by the Bible. People who have been trained by the Bible are ready for good works. This does not mean that further training is not necessary, but it does mean that those trained by the Bible are ready to live life as we are meant to live it. Without the perspective and knowledge of life that only the Bible can give we are incomplete human beings in a very fundamental sense.
The Bible should not be just one other book in your collection of books. The Bible should be the book that you give pride of place in your collection of books.
The Bible is the most important book ever written.

Do not take every word your pastor says as absolute solid biblical fact without studying the word of God for yourself. It is a disservice to you as well as your pastor. If  the pastor is found to be in error than you can help strengthen him and help them on their walk with God. After all they were a sinner in need of a savior just like you.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The steep price of purity of heart
Today we will be looking at the core Bible principle of holiness, and how God has outlined a refining process for every individual who is seeking holiness and purity of heart. 2 Timothy 2:22 – Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. As Timothy was a young leader within the Yeshua movement of Judaism, Paul…

Hebrews 4:12 (AMP‬‬). “For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV). “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

"I'm Not Good Enough" is Only One of the Lies
“I’m not good enough” is only one of the lies we tell ourselves. Moreover, this is what I told myself most of my life along with other lies like “You’re not good enough”, “You’ll never amount to anything”, “You’re too fat”, “You’re not pretty enough”, and the like. What Lies Do You Tell Yourself? I guess the point that I’m trying to make is that these are lies. So, why did I continue to believe…

CIRCULAR REASONING: Using the Bible to prove the Bible?
How can we base our opinions about the Bible on Jesus’s testimony, when that testimony comes from the Bible? Isn’t that circular reasoning? In a sense, it is circular. But not in a problematic way. When it comes to ultimate authorities there is always an inevitable level of circularity when we authenticate them. After all, if an ultimate authority is only valid because it conforms to some lesser authority, then it would no longer be ultimate!
If, as will be shown, the New Testament documents do indeed have primary-source value for the life and activities of Jesus, it is fallacious to argue that by relying upon them the Christian is engaged in circular reasoning, in that he is “using the Bible to prove what he believes about Jesus.”
The fact that excellent documents are collected in an attractive binding, printed on India paper, and distributed widely for devotional purposes has no relevance whatsoever for determining their value as historical sources, either positively or negatively.
The argument the apostles presented, then, was a linear one from historical events in the world to the Lordship of Christ, and not a circular argument requiring a prior commitment to belief in God and the witness of Scripture. As Martin Kahler has put it,
“We do not believe in Christ because we believe in the Bible; we believe in the Bible because we believe in Christ.”

The Confused Christian.
John 16 All this I have told you so that you will not fall away. 2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. 3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. 4 I have told you this, so that when their time comes you will remember that I warned you about them. I did not tell…
