Today's Word With Joel and Victoria Osteen - Say Not
Today’s Scripture Jeremiah 1:9, NIV  Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth.”  Today’s Word When God told Jeremiah that he was going to become a great prophet and speak to nations, He quickly added, “Jeremiah, say not that you’re too young to do this.” He knew that if Jeremiah started telling himself that he was not qualified…

“But the LORD abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment. And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity. The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble; And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.” —Psalm 9:7-10
“Your faithfulness continues throughout all generations; You established the earth, and it stands.” —Psalm 119:90
“‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’” —Jeremiah 29:11
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” —Romans 8:28
“For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.” —Hebrews 4:15
“Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” —Isaiah 41:10
“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.” —Psalm 46:1
“God Inspires Our Trust” By In Touch Ministries:
“Our Father in heaven always keeps His promises and never leaves us alone.”
“As far as children can tell, their mom and dad know everything and can do anything. And kids typically don’t question that assumption without reason (for example, if they see a parent mishandle a situation or someone else influences their level of trust). Parents demonstrate reliability by consistently providing shelter, food, and safety—and also by lovingly teaching, comforting, and guiding their sons and daughters. Then the children can sleep in peace, knowing their needs will be met.
Likewise, we know that we can trust our heavenly Father because He has shown Himself trustworthy from the beginning of time. Psalm 119:90 says, “[God’s] faithfulness continues throughout generations.” He has never broken a promise, and His plans for us have always been for our good (Jeremiah 29:11; Romans 8:28). What’s more, God understands our weaknesses and never asks us to do anything that He won’t help us accomplish (Hebrews 4:15; Isaiah 41:10). We can trust that even in the worst situations, He will be with us (Psalm 46:1).
What does trusting God look like in your life this week? Where can you relinquish control to Him?”
[All Bible verses are in the NASB1995 Translation.]

Jesus is Coming
Some years ago I was walking around the reception tables after a wedding I had performed. An older woman approached me with a question. Almost everyone present at this particular wedding had come from a high church liturgical tradition. In their tradition, they had sometimes weekly, sometimes monthly recited either the Apostle’s Creed or the Athanasian Creed. But apparently, she hadn’t been…

Free Will Verses Election: Solved
By Greg Holt   Many are the proponents that will side with man having free will, and why would they not?  Many if not most of us would like to think that we are free to make our own choices.  Then there are those who believe in election, and many in both camps say that the two are mutually exclusive. The two camps on the issue of how we come to Christ are free will, and election.  Man’s free will…

Harmony
“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.” Psalm 40:3 I am sure many of us have witnessed two distinct ways of singing a song and playing an instrument; and one appears to be more of a gift or an acquired gift than the other. There is the soloist and musician who studies the notes and practices methodically until the…

Unbelievable! The Woman Who Believed in a Preposterous Message
Almost every Christmas pageant contains the Angel’s appearance to Mary. Luke’s narrative about Mary’s conversation with Gabriel described her reaction to some pretty unbelievable news. If you think about it, there is much to learn from Mary’s response to God’s messenger. (And BTW, the Greek word for angel is anggelos, or messenger—simply put, a courier who brings a message, or a word from someone…

Jeremiah 9:1 Weeping For The Slain
Oh, that my head were waters, and my eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people! Jeremiah 9:1 Whenever a loved one is harmed in any way, people mourn. No one likes to see a loved one harmed physically by someone or by an accident or by sickness. It is painful and causes most to weep, wishing that they could make things better, though…

Take That and.....That!
Take That….and That! Before watching the “Jesus Revolution” movie, we were entertained with the trailers of upcoming movies. After watching the trailer to the “Big George Foreman” true-story movie, I knew I wanted to see it! I bought tickets in advance and saw it on Thursday. The movie gives an up close and personal view of a broken, intimidated, poor, hungry, and lost young boy in a very…

1. “The Lord is king. He is clothed with majesty and strength. The earth is set firmly in place and cannot be moved. Your throne, O Lord, has been firm from the beginning, and you existed before time began. The ocean depths raise their voice, O Lord; they raise their voice and roar. The Lord rules supreme in heaven, greater than the roar of the ocean, more powerful than the waves of the sea. Your laws are eternal, Lord, and your Temple is holy indeed, forever and ever.” —Psalm 93:1‭-‬5 (GNT)
2. “Long ago the Lord said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.” —Jeremiah 31:3 (NLT)
3. “I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you].” —John 15:9 (AMP)
4. “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16 (NLT)
Friend, God loves you!
You are an “Everyone” in John 3:16. If you had been the only human being on Earth, God would still have sent His only Son to save you and offer you eternal life.
Every day God will draw you to Him with unfailing love (Jer 31:3).
Jesus loves you just as the Father loves Him (and that is a huge amount of love). Jesus said so in The Word of God (Jn 15:9). And Jesus IS the Word (Jn 1:1), so when He speaks, He speaks God's truth:
“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” —John 1:1 (NLT)
Friend, God loves you. Mightier than the waves of the sea is God's love for you!
Blessings to you. May you feel God's love for you, a love that is mightier than the waves of the sea. May you remain in Jesus' love, today and always. In Jesus' name, Amen! 🙏🕊️🙌
