Daily Scripture Text:
*"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." - Psalm 46:10*
Commentary:
This verse from Psalm 46 reminds us of the power and sovereignty of God. In the midst of chaos and turmoil, it calls us to find peace and reassurance in God's presence. Being still before God allows us to acknowledge His authority over all things and to trust in His divine plan. It reminds us that God will ultimately be exalted, and His glory will be known throughout the world.
Questions :
1. How do you find stillness and peace in your relationship with God?
2. What areas of your life do you need to surrender control to God and trust in His sovereignty?
3. How can you actively exalt God in your daily life and interactions with others?
Prayer:
Dear Lord, in the midst of life's chaos, help us to find stillness and peace in your presence. Teach us to trust in your sovereignty and to surrender control of our lives to you. May we exalt you in all that we do, bringing glory to your name. Amen.

“Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.” —Psalm 100:3 (KJV)
“Seek God for Yourself” By Billy Graham:
“Whenever anyone asks me how I can be so certain about who and what God really is, I am reminded of the story of the little boy who was out flying a kite. It was a fine day to go kite-flying, the wind was brisk, and large billowy clouds were blowing across the sky. The kite went up and up until it was entirely hidden by the clouds. “What are you doing?” a man asked the little boy. “I’m flying a kite,” he replied. “Flying a kite, are you?” the man said, “How can you be sure? You can’t see your kite.” “No,” said the little boy, “I can’t see it, but every little while I feel a tug, so I know for sure that it’s there!” Don’t take anyone else’s word for God. Find Him for yourself, and then you too will know by the wonderful, warm tug on your heartstring, that He is there, for sure.
Prayer for the day: Thank You for loving me, God. This knowledge never ceases to amaze me. I praise and love You, my heavenly Father.”

Integrity is a Rare Virtue (1 Samuel 26)
Scripture reading – 1 Samuel 26 1 Samuel 26 presented David with a second opportunity to kill his enemy, the king of Israel. The first opportunity had risen when Saul unwittingly entered a cave where David and his men had retreated (1 Samuel 24:3-7). On that occasion, David reasoned that despite his flaws and failures, Saul was “the anointed of the LORD,” and he would not harm him. Again, in 1…

The Power of Thinking
Your thoughts are some of the most powerful things about you. Thoughts can actually make you more anxious, happy, fearful, or content. And what you spend time thinking about has the power to affect your emotions, your actions, and ultimately—your character.
Scripture has a lot to say about our thoughts because God knows the power of our minds. Isaiah 26:3 says that God will keep our hearts in perfect peace if we keep our minds fixed on Him. Can you imagine that? Perfect peace.
The more time we spend focusing our thoughts on God and His Word, the more our hearts will be kept in peace. That is a powerful thought, especially in a world that is constantly looking for peace and unity.
The starting point for this peace is trusting God. We must come to Him trusting in who He is, and having faith in what He has done for us. We know that God is good and just. So if we have faith in Him, we know that we are accepted and loved by Him. And those who trust in God are given access to Him and His presence.
Perfect peace is available to those who consistently trust in God, and fix their thoughts on Him.
What does it mean to keep your mind steadfast on God? In Philippians 4:8-9, Scripture says to think about things that are pure, lovely, right, and true, so that God’s peace can be with us.
How many of your thoughts are spent on things relating to God? Do you keep your mind focused on Him when you’re feeling anxious or stressed? What are some simple ways you can continue to remind yourself to think about God throughout your day?
Spend some time thinking about the power of your own thoughts and the access you’ve been given to God through Scripture. Commit to building the habit of centering your thoughts on God so that you can experience His perfect peace.

NB: Dauntless Faith
“I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee” — Acts 18:10 So long as the Lord had work for Paul to do in Corinth, the fury of the mob was restrained. The Jews opposed themselves and blasphemed; but they could neither stop the preaching of the gospel, nor the conversion of the hearers. God has power over the most violent minds. He makes the wrath of man to praise Him when it breaks…

This is One Event You Don't Want to Miss | A Feast
"This is One Event You Don't Want to Miss" Think about the best thing you ever experienced in your life. That experience doesn't even come close to what Jesus has waiting for you! . #experience #feast #heaven #Jesus #eternity #God #Bible
God has a feast waiting for you in heaven. He is inviting you into His Kingdom to dine with Him. “Jesus said: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. 17 At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ 18 “But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, ‘I have just bought a field, and…

“Blessed be the Lord, who has heard the sound of my pleading. The Lord is my strength and my shield, in whom my heart trusts. I am helped, so my heart rejoices; with my song I praise Him.”

“Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him.’ And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’ I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need. “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” —Luke 11:5‭-‬13 (NIV)
“What Prayer Is All About” By In Touch Ministries:
“If we spend time talking with the Lord each day, our relationship with Him will grow stronger.”
“When you ask a child, “What did you learn in school today?” it’s highly unlikely he or she will mention a fact you don’t already know. But you still love to listen. It’s an honor to be trusted with such attention, and being fully present and interested in the child’s life strengthens the bond you share.
The same is true of us and the Lord. In Matthew 6:8, Jesus said, “Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.” Then you might wonder, Why would God want me to talk to Him about my needs if He already knows what they are? The answer is that it’s not about the need but the relationship prayer helps to build.
The Lord is the “friend who sticks closer than a brother” (Proverbs 18:24; John 15:15). And He desires for us to reap the blessings of seeing Him as the most important part of our life. This is what the apostle Paul was trying to tell the people of Athens in his famous sermon at Mars Hill: God “is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist” (Acts 17:27-28). It’s easy for us to lose sight of that fact, but prayer keeps us close to God and helps us to remember just how near He is.”

Insane to me that certain comic book creators who shall not be named dismissed Jonathan Harker as a "milk sop" and a boring character. White-haired avenger with ambiguously vampiric superstrength Jonathan Harker. Most violent and unhinged member of the vampire hunters Jonathan Harker. Ran at Dracula with a kukri knife without skipping a beat and then tried to climb out of a window to pursue him Jonathan Harker. "Like a living flame" Jonathan Harker. Calls his bond with his wife "the holiest love" and determines that if she becomes a vampire, even if Dracula calls her to his side, "she shall not go into that dark night alone" Jonathan Harker. You know. That one.

I love seeing prayers and stories of devotees who worship Gods that I don’t worship.
Actually, I’ve always been like this.
I love hearing the tales of religions that I don’t subscribe to. Even if I don’t agree with every Christian, I do enjoy hearing Christians talk about how wonderful Jesus is and what he means to them personally.
I enjoy hearing Muslims talk about their prayers, how they reserve time out of their day for their God.
I enjoy hearing Jews sing their psalms, I love hearing about how they prepare their food, how they consider God’s hands in their meals.
I love hearing about Hellenic rituals and Semetic celebrations. I love learning about the different holy days among different groups of pagans.
I love learning how different people have incorporated different Gods, acts, and customs into their faith. I love hearing about their myths and legends, the stories they tell their children before bed.
I love hearing about the different ways that humanity has connected to their personal idea of God.
I don’t worship Apollon or Shiva today, but I am so delighted to hear the prayers of those that do. It’s like I’m getting to feel the mist erupting off of a waterfall. Or hearing the echo of a song that I do not know the lyrics to, but I can still hum the melody. I can feel the notes permeate my mind, even if I don’t know what they mean.
I love that there are people who worship these Gods that I do not worship. I’m happy that there is so much diversity among humanity that we have enough love in us for all of them.
For the ones that even I don’t know the names of, or felt the warmth of. Someone has.
That’s a very very good thing.
