I saw a dumbfuck post about how the only realistic options are that Palestinians or Israelis commit total genocide (what's going on now stupid?), they keep fighting until another country takes over and treats them both badly, or ~both sides forgive each other~ and how the last one is the only good option, and I wanna break that down but like. Lemme just say realistically immediately after the creation of a Palestinian state what will probably happen is 1) many Israelis will leave because they won't want to live in a state where Palestinians have nominally equal rights, and many of them have been indoctrinated to believe Palestinians are rabid 2) many of the Israelis who do stay will still hold economic privileges over many Palestinians and will as such hold sway in the government alongside Palestinians that have managed to build wealth and the popular resistance leaders that survive to see a Palestinian state

My dad refuses to give me any info on our family except tripling down that we're "French and Iroquois" and my mom doesn't know jack shit beyond "your grandma is Italian and Cherokee?" because her father was heavily abusive and HIS father killed her grandmother and anyways I have no idea how to even begin finding out more about my ancestors so I've decided I'm just celebrating whoever tf is celebrating me
You think the fact that I'm cutting weeds with a machete rn is badass?
You also dealt w breakups by tearing up the most stubborn invasive weeds at 3am in the morning?
You bred animals too and watch the hours I spend cooing and checking and caring for them?
Whoever those people are they're there and watching and celebrating my nonbinary ass and I love that

You could not pay me to live in Wyoming full time considering the political conditions of it but I’m feeling nostalgic about my time there during college. I miss my apartment and I miss Laramie. I had a really nice time living on my own up there. It was a good town and had great transportation infrastructure for someone who couldn’t drive. I was totally self sufficient with the transportation services they offered.
Also the rent was cheap so I could actually afford to live on my own. You’ll never see 440 a month ever again.
