Le Hellfest est terminé, la pression retombe et on commence à réaliser que « La Fête de l’Enfer » c’est « Le Paradis sur Terre ». I’m a lightworker. I’m a transgender man. I’m mixed race. I am beautiful -- inside and out. I am barely making it. I also want nothing to do with the world’s current direction thusfar.

I’m thinking it all needs to come crashing down... to change in the blink of an eye.

My whole life I have thought that something was going to upend this world. Maybe it was a premonition. Maybe it was a implanted in my mind, somehow. But I think it has actually always come directly from the Cosmos...

People are tired. I have been tired and vexed by this place as soon as I was aware. It’s not supposed to be this way anymore.

there's something really special about everywhere at the end of time, i think. i mean asides from the obvious, the fact that there are so so so many projects that are directly inspired by it, parodying it, all the permutations that people have made in terms of covers, remixes, what have you, it's just... comforting, i think.

knowing that that project resonated with so many people. like we all have this deep fear and perhaps even understanding of this unknown possibility that terrifies us so much, we have no choice but to be inspired, to mimic, to create something that, to whatever extent, will let the caretaker know how impactful its creation had been on us, despite the fact that it is no longer with us

it almost feels, ironically, like how one would mourn for the dead. maybe not in a """conventional""" manner, but one born from affection all the while

i get such a weird sort of comfort from abandoned malls. like i literally cannot describe to you how or why but it just makes me feel so at ease, and it's probably why i like mallsoft so much

#saw a video on yt that was 'the caretaker - libet's delay but it's playing in an abandoned mall' and all the comments r talking abt how like #sad it makes them feel. and like i kinda get it. the caretaker's works generally have some sort of air of sadness to them #but idk it just makes me feel so. at peace #like the thing that i've heard the most that makes ppl feel unease w the caretaker's works is incessant repitition #bc some caretaker songs r litterally just the same soundbyte looped over and over again to the point that if it was on repeat i #t'd probably be hard to determine where the song truly starts and ends #but that's something i've Also always found comfort in #idk blame the undiagnosed adhd maybe but i listen to a lot of stuff on repeat anyways so listening to the same thing over and over again #is just like. normal to me #there is comfort in knowing what comes next and what have you #archie warbles #do i have a caretake tag. i already forgot #the answer was no i didn't so #.beyondthisworld
