Hey, you know ending loki season 2. I have to say the ending definitely tragic and poetic same ike in myth and mcu loki symbol (sacrifice), I actually kind okey with loki be tree that hold multiverse because well he is a god and gods have job and purpose they existence
But my main problem is that how he end up there, I meant they just giving loki pain and more trauma and make it worst so called friends and lover are hypocrite jerk that not nice to him, so it's so bitter for me loki sacrifice himself again for ungrateful jeak like his Asgard family. This ending is not masterpiece. epic? Maybe but masterpiece? No, it's sad very bitter ending I ever see
It will be bitter sweet if loki actually heal his pains and getting actually nice and kind peoples as his friends but no mcu just decided to make loki get more trauma and pains
And more pain is that the fact no one in main timeline knowing what he sacrifice, only the one inside tva know and probably some entities that can see 'everything ' that knowing what loki sacrifice. I bet mcu will make some characters saying that loki is selfish narcissistic for take throne of time 🙄
I hate that Loki's sacrifice is for these people, these horrid awful cruel people.
I can't get over the fact that these people spent hundreds of years being time fascists with not a second thought are treated as good, likable and nothing is there fault. Sure the tore people from their homes heard their screams and cries, but godboss told them to so that means it's ok. I mean sure they turn the second they learn they were being hurt which means they always had the mental capacity to think for themselves they choose not to, for hundreds of years.
Yes, that pisses be off Loki is made to suffer and constantly has his mistakes thrown in his face. Loki has to die and time fascists get to retire to Argentina or they can keep being time fascists. It takes away any good feeling I could have when I see the TVA still exciting. They separated Loki from his family, they killed his family and Loki sacrifices himself for them and it is never once acknowledged that their "ends justify the means" was wrong, was cruel and if they thought of other people first so many lives would have been spared.

Ok hear me out. Kokonoe and Tsubaki with a househusband s/o.
Anon who the FUCK gave you a cooking license? I'm taking it away.
You are now head chef, keep those banger asks incoming.
Step one to being best girl: Have hair a shade of red, pink included.
Step two: Be voiced by Julie Ann Taylor
Kokonoe A. Mercury
Tumblr media
-Being one of Sector Seven's top scientists, Kokonoe brings in more than enough to support a household. Realistically, being in Sector Seven yourself, specifically as one of her field agents is the only way you could've gotten to know her well enough to make her of all people want to end up marrying you.
-Being her field agent for so long before marrying her, naturally you've...seen a lot of shit. You were more than happy to hang up the gear and take the role of househusband. You really had no reason not to.
-Half the time, being Kokonoe's husband is like taking care of a child to be completely honest. A hyper intelligent child whose hiding away an entire stockpile of nukes as Hakumen found out in CS, but a child nonetheless.
-Being involved with Kokonoe in any capacity, ESPECIALLY as her husband, requires a lot of patience. Even to her lover she's sassy, short tempered, and sarcastic, all the while being way too absorbed in her work and addicted to that damn silvervine candy.
-She eventually comes to depend on you entirely for her diet. The only way she's eating anything even remotely healthy is if you make it for her, otherwise she's living off silvervine, coffee, and chocolate.
-Most of the time if you wanna see Kokonoe and not just call her (which sometimes she doesn't even pick up), you're gonna have to head over to the lab yourself. If someone else is already there with her, she's gonna tell you to wait until they're gone. She's a bit embarrassed of being seen with her husband by anyone else.
-You're the only guest she ever actually looks forward to, not that she'd admit that out loud (though you already know anyway). Usually when you come visit it's to give her some actually decent food.
-She won't ever admit to it, but she really appreciates when you do it. A homecooked meal from her husband always lifts her mood, reminds her of the life she never got to have since it was taken from her by Terumi. It's one of the few things that actually makes her feel any emotion other than anger, irritation, or a sick satisfaction from watching one of her crazy ass plans come to fruition. You're just glad you can actually make her eat decently for once in her life.
-You'll also have to convince her yourself if you want her to come home for once and get some actual sleep in a proper bed. It'll take some effort but you'll get her to do so at least once a week.
-Sleeping in the same bed as you is the one time Kokonoe truly gets to relax. Once her brain finally winds down she melts into your embrace as she feels the inevitable pull of sleep, purring softly in your arms. Seeing her so unguarded like this is a unique privilege that only you have. God is it fucking precious.
-As much of a pain in the ass she is and how much she can test your patience, it's the moments like these that make it all worth it, when she finally shows her soft side to you and lets you know that she really does care about you. You wouldn't have it any other way.
Tsubaki Yayoi (my beloved 💗)
Tumblr media
-Ending up as a househusband is pretty straightforward similar to Kokonoe. This is the heiress/soon to be head of one the families of the Duodecim, bagging this lovely heiress means you never have to work a day in your life again.
-Of course you still wanted to do at least something for such a perfect woman you had the impossible privilege of calling your wife, but she insisted you didn't need to. Eventually househusband was the thing you both agreed to. Maids and servants exist but having her husband fill the role felt much more natural. More cozy, made the house feel more like a home.
-The arrangement ends up being one you're both happy with. Tsubaki is able to continue her duties of an NOL soldier while knowing you're safe and far away from the danger taking care of the house.
-You'll occasionally drop by the base sometimes just to see her whenever you get bored. The other soldiers there eventually get used to your presence and leave you be. Hearing your knock on the door to Tsubaki's office is always the highlight of her day, she'll drop any work she's doing to spend some time with you in what would otherwise be a monotonous, boring shift, especially if you took the time to make her something to eat. It definitely beats the food offered on base.
-Of course it doesn't beat walking through the door of the house every day, having you welcome her home with a kiss. It's all blissfully domestic, like she's always wanted after living a life of such lavish luxury like she has.
-One duty of the house you both share is cooking duty. It's one of her favorite ways to spend time with you while bonding over good food. You two talk about your days, the new gossip in the Duodecim and the base, whatever tomfoolery Makoto's gotten into, overall just getting to wind down and talk about things not relating to work.
-Though speaking of Makoto, her and the rest of Tsubaki's friends on occasion sometimes are called over to have some off time together. As long as there's food prepared by you and her, the last thing anyone needs is there not being food and Noel trying to get into the kitchen.
-It's not long though before the conversation of kids inevitably comes up. Unlike Kokonoe who's probably not the biggest fan of the idea, Tsubaki's quite fond of it. She'd want at least two, she wouldn't want to have an only child that grows up without a sibling like she did. As far as she's concerned, no kid should ever have to be lonely like that, even if they'd have two parents present.
-It probably happens eventually. However many kids you two end up having, she's perfectly happy. Despite growing up richer than almost all their peers, Tsubaki will ensure her kids are raised to have dignity and compassion to the people around them. They're in a safe, loving environment where they can truly learn about the world around them and learn to appreciate it for what it is.
-Now she has even more to come home to every day, with her precious little bundles of joy. It reminds her of why she does what she does why she fights to uphold justice. So that families like hers never have to suffer pain, and can live in a world free of injustice and suffering.
-You. Her children. Her family. It is why she fights, the family she would put her life on the line to protect. Her entire world. Her past, present, and future.

Okay so just imagine like. You’re just a little guy. You have no parents and your grandfather who raised you has always disparaged and disapproved of the very fact that you exist, for reasons utterly beyond your control. People enjoy your presence because you’re polite and charming the same way they enjoy flowers in spring, which is to say in passing and ultimately without any real connection.
And then you meet this guy who is just like. obsessed with you. He always wants to be around you and he derives true joy from it without you having to say anything funny or clever or lie for politeness’ sake. He creates art that he loves of you and because of you. Indirectly, you are suddenly able to put joy and beauty into the world, anything into the world, because you inspire him. You never imagined you would leave any kind of footprint the way things were before, because nothing you had was meaningful or lasting. And he flatters you dreadfully, he tells you how incredibly beautiful you are, and whether you realise it or not, you can feel that at least part of this value that he has found in you, that he has given you, comes from that beauty.
And then one day you meet his friend, who is older than you and cooler than you and a lord, and so witty and eloquent that you struggle just trying to keep track of whatever the fuck he’s talking about (and he always sounds like he knows everything about it), and he’s been this guy’s friend much longer than you have, and he also compliments you on your beauty and so seemingly that is the only quality of any worth that you possess, right? And then he waxes on and on about how it’s the only thing worth having and explains that what you have is actually incredibly valuable and fragile and precious, and that you are inevitably going to lose it and there’s nothing you can do. And also he says all this while you’re having your gay awakening because he’s sweet-talking you in a way you’ve never experienced and it’s uhhhhh it’s something. So then while you’re having a complete existential crisis over this your mutual friend calls you over to show you the most exquisite painting you’ve ever seen in your life and it’s of you. You didn’t know you could be so beautiful to anyone, you didn’t know he could create anything so beautiful, you didn’t know beauty on this level could even be captured in art. And that’s how he sees you, continually, without you having to make any effort to please him? Just to be yourself is enough to have inspired this incredible thing? You might cry. And then you realise he created it here and now and of you because on this particular day of June, you are twenty years old, and young, and pretty, and once you age out of that, you will lose the one thing anyone has ever valued in you, and surely also his interest, and you will be alone again, and worthy of nothing and no one. And because you’re also twenty years old and privileged and inexperienced you’ve never learned any capacity for nuanced thoughts and say things that are incredibly rash and stupid and regrettable.
So I’m not saying Dorian did nothing wrong but I am saying in his position I’d definitely have been a vain and terrified idiot too

Never in the first place
What's a man to a king? Apparently everything, a king to a God? The very same principle with a very different effect. You look at these disgusting freaks, to describe them as vermin of some dark sewer would be inaccurate. They are often very ugly, short, physically insecure. Their minds at a young age fully embraced toil as the meaning of life. By toil I don't mean the de jure of hard work but rather a ceaseless striving to be born again as a person who can drink coffee in a meeting. Through a trial common to mankind to emerge again as something one has always known to lack the capacity to gain actualization. Who among us would look at a king and not say he is great? This is the person or creature that would. To value HONOR! Or some definition of what a good elementary school teacher would appear to be is this creatures morality. What is more honorable than to think meekly and with little desire to know what lies beyond the setting son? This is the eternal soul of the landless landed. It is a totem rather than a soul. Complexity eludes it because nothing can penetrate nothing. A flat surface isn't tactile. The strong and wise king is the enemy of this thing as it always has been. The lack of understanding that toil in itself doesn't qualify one for anything. One's blood and mass is constituted of what they've always known. This is unchanging. God takes mercy on those who can see this by making the participants blind to their suffering.
Death is not a release but the birth again into this to try and to act once again but within this same body always constituted of the same. A life spent in an attempt to mend this abortive soul will always be existing in futility that only makes longer what could be happy at times. How many of you might have seen this unconscious mind in a conscious body laugh MANICALLY with their pack of hyenas feasting on the corpse of something which never knew of them. What honor! They might exclaim to themselves, though their existence might be putrid that the processes of nature have provided them with some temporal pleasure they could never produce within their own capacity. This is JUSTICE MANIFEST! Justice as an ignoble soul reasons is the multiplication of the ugly so that the beautiful must, if only for a moment, look upon it with dread. That a cycle of life could be destroyed by the evil workings of lesser men. What order could there be when a moment of time echoes for eternity, equally as vibrant. This can't be quantified, this must be lived. A moment of peace can mend the schism of mind and body. Remove this antagonism spurred on by the mind.
A man who does what is right commits no crime. This is the most complex statement that will ever exist. Every component an aspect of our tightrope walk with infinity. To the bug-creature of hyena this means little. The idea of the right or the good might mean as much as any child would use to create reason in chaos, or rather would be suggested to them by a failed adult. Something that makes sense only when one was never capable of seeing in the darkness that exists in front of their feet opens their mouth to scream at what might lie ahead to move away from here.
It's 14 minutes from midnight, you're drinking a glass of water.
It's 8 minutes from midnight, you're looking at the moon.
It's 1 minute from midnight and you see your own breath.

in all honesty i think the 'if we kill all the bad people and CEOs then the world will be happy forever and we'll never have to do anything hard or worry about systemic injustice ever again' is extremely damaging to any kind of political or revolutionary rhetoric, and part of it is that it leads very strongly to the same mentality that basically refuses to do anything in the political process but just wait around for the Glorious Revolution, and of course that its an appealing revenge fantasy, but also that the kind of people espousing this aren't actually going to do anything and it does very bad things to actual... well, actions to make things better.
Essentially, its a revenge fantasy writ large. It's the kind of thing espoused by the people who think of mass executing the Rich or really any nebulous group that is defined as being responsible for all the world's ills; a glorious heroic defeat of Ultimate Evil after which everything will be better forever.
It's not that simple. It will never work that way. At BEST, even if you somehow could accomplish that, more people would just fill that void. And to be blunt, the issue is not that some people are bad; it is that this is the result of systematic injustice that is to some degree baked in. Even if you remove them, that does not address the reason why they come to exist. Furthermore, it simplifies the actual cause of human suffering to such an extreme that at BEST its lazy. At worst you're actively ignoring history just to feel smug about your hypothetical revolution that will never ever happen
let's examine this. if you genuinely believe that CEOs and capitalism as a whole are the root of all human evil and suffering and, if removed, this will make everything better forever, this kind of fails to address the point that people being shitty to each other is older than recorded history, this is a manifestation of the problem and not the problem itself! There are mass graves of murdered people going back to Neolithic times. The human capacity for cruelty is older than our ability to record it in the written word.
Its not like there were stone age CEOs in fancy furs making up the concept of profits as an excuse to kill people. To be plain, capitalism as a concept is EXTREMELY recent. It technology only dates back a few hundred years at best, and it is specifically an outgrowth of mercantilism, which roughly appeared around the 1600s. So out of five thousand years of recorded history, that's an indescribly TINY, statistically meaningless shred of time.
Are you trying to suggest that human evil only started then?
So if you DO want to make that claim, what do you make of the mass slavery empire that was Rome, as an example? Or the countless examples of empires rising and falling, of people giving the order to kill lots of other people for short-term gain or political expediency?
Human evil goes back a long, long way. It's not something that can be fixed by just going 'get rid of the Bad People'. If it was, then those Bad People would never have existed. The entire concept of just wiping out entire groups and deciding that'll fix the world is the cause of many massacres.
Being smug and fantasizing about revenge won't fix anything. Constantly making snide and inappropriate jokes about everything won't fix anything either. There's no easy fix and no simple answers, and in all honesty, you can't just go 'once we kill all the CEOs human nature will see to it that we will work together for the common good'.
Because if that was honestly true, do you really think we'd ever have SEEN CEOs show up the first place?

Something I never quite understood is what it is with people and Daisy from the Mario games. Why is there always so much talk about wanting her in the games and hype when she actually is? What exactly is so special about her that gets people like this? I don't think this is a bad thing or anything like that, It is just something that confuses me.
Are you a fan of Dragon Ball? If so, you've surely noticed that the power creep has rendered a majority of the cast irrelevant, with Goku and Vegeta being tantamount to the only ones that really matter in most scenarios, with characters like Yamcha literally not being allowed to participate in fate-deciding battles anymore
You may also have noticed that Dragon Ball Super has more recently been trying to remedy this. Super Hero hardly had Goku or Vegeta in it at all, focusing on how to bring Gohan and Piccolo up to speed, while there was a mini-arc in the manga tying into Super Hero establishing Goten and Trunks as more relevant characters
Fans love that. They love seeing characters who either exist entirely on or who have been pushed to the fringe being brought to the centerstage. There are all kinds of reasons for this, but in the case of Dragon Ball, I think it's a matter of variety vs. stagnation. "Looks like Goku got another power-up that'll serve to elevate him above the rest of the cast and render them useless again"
Daisy is in a pretty similar boat. She's appeared in dozens of Mario titles, but how many of them are the Kart, Party or Sports titles? How many times has Daisy appeared in an actual Mario game?
Once
Daisy first appeared in Super Mario Land for the GameBoy, a spinoff not even made by Shigeru Miyamoto, and even there she was the damsel in distress who didn't actually appear until the end of the game. A very common event for video game characters, especially at the time, but the point is that her involvement in the main Mario franchise is as minimal as it gets
Since then, though, her appearances in the non-platformers have given her a lot of opportunity to flesh out her personality, most notably with how energetic and tomboyish she is in Mario Strikers compared to the more bubbly and girlish Peach
youtube
youtube
With their differences highlighted, it was natural that some fans would gravitate more to one side than the other, but Peach is still the main heroine of the franchise. She appears in most if not all mainline Mario games in some capacity, either as the damsel or a playable character, and now has two games to call her own
Aside from Mario and Peach, who else has gotten to be playable alongside Mario? Obviously Luigi as the original player 2, three colors of Toad across Mario 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii and U, Captain Toad in the 3D World minigames, Yoshi and Wario in 64 DS, Toadette and Nabbit in U Deluxe, Rosalina in 3D World, and most recently Bowser Jr. in Bowser's Fury
That's 13 playable characters (9 if you count all of the Toads together and don't count Captain Toad since he's in a minigame), with Daisy notably absent despite being a fan favorite. Toadette being playable was especially egregious because they gave her a power-up that effectively just turned her into Peach with a different outfit. Rosalina was also "just another Princess" same as Daisy, but introduced much more recently, so it felt like they were acknowledging they could bring in any character they wanted, but who would want boring old Daisy when there's a shiny new Princess right here? Not knocking on Rosalina, I love her too, but I've wanted to see more Daisy content since I was a child
Do you remember how excited people were about Pauline showing up in Odyssey? Sure she'd shown up in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong games, but again, those were spinoffs that most people didn't play. This was direct acknowledgment of her character in the main story, and now she's showing up in the Sports titles! Further awareness of the character means more opportunities for something new!
Even if Wonder just took place in Sarasaland and Daisy was a background character, that would have been shocking because it would have been her first time back in 34 years! But no! They skipped straight to her being playable!! This means that she has a much greater chance of coming back to be playable in future mainline games or even spinoffs like the new Peach game or the more story-driven RPGs
Even better, though? This sets a precedent. Who knows who could be playable next?? We could see Pauline be playable for the first time in a mainline game! We could see Wario come back as a Wario Land crossover! We could even see Waluigi actually be acknowledged by the canon for once!!!
Daisy is beloved because of her personality and was wanted as a playable character because of her absence. Her inclusion is a huge deal because it means that Nintendo has actually been listening to us and knows how to give us what we want. It shows growth on Nintendo's part, and serves as a sign that they will continue to give us more of it going forward

Hi :)
I’m writing this as a direct response to whatever the hell went on yesterday. Before I directly offer my counterpoints I just wanna make some things clear:
1. English is not my first language and I don’t use any proper translation app for revision. I use a lot of adverbs because that’s how I express myself in my mother language. The punctuation also goes with how I use it in Portuguese.
2. I’m not offended on Chan's behalf, I’m just extremely passionate about debating (both online and irl), especially when I think others are objectively wrong.
3. I’m not only pro boycotting this single, but I also pray every night that it never sees the light of day.
I’ve been against this collab and voiced my distaste as soon as I was made aware of its existence. At first it wasn’t because of Charlie Puth’s “opinions” on the Genocide being conducted against Palestinians in their occupied mother land (I actually had no idea where he stood since I have him blocked everywhere for being annoying, ugly and untalented), but getting to know that he’s an actual Zionist was the final straw for me, and I won’t be listening to it at all. That’s where I personally stand and I’m not known for changing my mind.
As soon as the news dropped, I took this feature for what it is: a chart gambling move by Republic Records (Stray Kids’ American distributor and promoter). Releasing a soulless English single featuring a C-list American “artist” is basically a trend in K-pop nowadays, since it places the group in the charts fast enough before the actual comeback, has viral TikTok potential and extends by 2 the promotional period.
I never actually expected JYPE to follow suit with SKZ, as much as they have given other groups the tired and bland English pre-release. As I said, it was a no for me from the start because I don’t like nor do I listen to something that’s so shamelessly a marketing strategy made for an easy cash grab.
I expressed my opinion that it was a sell-out move that would taint SKZ’ original and cohesive discography.
As soon as the credits were posted, my first thought was that it was never SKZ’ song to begin with. In my opinion, it was very clear by the credits positioning that the song was made by Charlie and the other dude (who isn’t even like just a random Zionist but a full Israeli that has undoubtedly served the IOF) and the featuring was orchestrated in a reunion with people who see music as business and artists are decided by they capacity of making profit by charting.
Once again, I personally refuse to consume this type of slop, especially when it comes from people who openly align themselves with a genocidal ethno-state.
I’m aware that my decision to not listen to this song won’t have any impact on the decisions both companies will make for SKZ in the future, since the music industry isn’t known to take morals into consideration when it comes to easy profit.
I also keep my opinion that media consuming (or non-consuming) isn’t activism, and there’s a fine line between reasoning on why you chose to boycott and empty virtue signaling. The latter always comes with a huge deal of self-righteousness, which we’ve seen plenty of since yesterday.
My expectation was that everyone who agreed to boycott directed their indignation towards RR and JYPE, since it was obviously an administrative decision and this has no artistic value. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE! (not really, this always happens) Chan has been in the front-line for getting all the lashes.
No mention of the other members of 3RACHA, who were also “in the room with racists” and have the exact same amount of credits and creative liberty, no mention of RR who obviously was the one orchestrating the promotional single (as they did with that TXT song with Jonas Brothers, Usher feat. Jungkook and the list goes on).
Lots of people questioned this when they saw that tweet, with no concrete response by OP or the ones who backed her up on why he was solely being condemned and blamed for the collaboration.
After a while, many came to justify that directing the anger towards Chan is valid since he is “the leader”, “the oldest” and “the spokesperson” of the group. For me personally, it’s hard to understand why a group made out of fully adult cisgender able-bodied males would need a spokesperson when they’re perfectly capable of speaking up for themselves on instances like this, but it’s interesting to see him suddenly become the only one who can speak for the group considering many people were shading him for being the one who always gives the speeches earlier this week.
Although the main claim is that he has more power because of his position as leader, I don’t think anyone actually believes that. The blame falls strictly onto Chan every single time because he made the biggest mistake an artist can make: treat his fans as equal.
He established an open line of communication as he presented his own authentic self, showing his flaws and often putting himself down and accepting the blame as means of maybe alleviating the inhumane amount of hatred he’s been submitted to since he dared to share his passion with the most demonic industry with the biggest amount of brain-dead fan-girls.
This made Chris the main character of arguably the most intense parasocial relationship I’ve seen in years of fandom hopping.
The post that started the blame shift towards Chan referred to him by his full name (weird, but punctual since many seem to believe they know him personally) and goes on to say “I know that you’re reading these quotes” or something like that.
See what I mean? That struggling to fulfill obligations as an idol and cutting himself open to give the fandom unrestricted access to him for years only made them believe that that’s all he does? That he’s #oomf and they can just say anything and it’s part of his job to acknowledge it? That any problem is for him to solve individuality and every praise is meant to be shared?
This entire idea that Bang Chan is somehow different, more important and more impactful than his coworkers isn’t because of the leader title, it’s because of the close relatability due to his openness.
Chan deals with the producer role much as he did with his relationship with the fans: he’s always made it clear that 3RACHA has the same amount of power when it comes to the creative direction of the band. Changbin and Jisung always acted alike, never letting it seem that Chan is the one who calls the shots or takes on “the leader” role inside the producing unit.
This message has never seemed to reach the fandom for some reason and when it comes to highlight something negative it falls strictly on Chan to acknowledge it. His coworkers who are on the exact same level and have the exact same power are never expected to stand up for anything.
Many argue that it’s because Chan is a native speaker but it’s actually, again, because people have a parasocial relationship with him specifically, to a level the other producers never allowed.
That’s exactly the reason you can see here:
if you're like, okay yeah screw all those other people, but why are you blaming chan? niru @/the_kpopalypse on twitter wrote it very well:
"I think Chan is one part of a large team that made this happen. That being said, as a leader, as someone who has generally made it a point to communicate his views on anything that goes on in fandom or the world, and the one who has emphasized the social justice angle of skz's brand since day one...[he] is a grown man who can and should hear the truth."
The expectation doesn’t come from actually believing he’s the leader or the spokesperson, it comes from taking his openness and treating fans as equals, as exposing himself in a genuine way and continuing to attend to expectations in order to keep the crowd pleased and now it all falls on his shoulders, even though not for a minute has he claimed to have more creative freedom or power than any other member in the producer line.
The whole “because he is the leader” means nothing but “because I have higher expectations when it comes to him, because the close relatability made me think I have an open channel of communication and I can demand he attend to my expectations, because I know him on a personal level and he frustrated me”.
I don’t blame anyone for growing such a deep rooted parasocial relationship with him, Chan is indeed a charismatic leader, it’s the hypocrisy that I can’t stand. It’s clearly not his move to go on with this collaboration, and if you decide to critic him in hopes that he’ll see it somehow (as if he has nothing to do but sit around reading your demands and taking notes but once again this belief comes from this parasocial relationship where you guys are convinced he’s the one who’s always there and he’ll be a hero and make everything alright again), then Han Jisung and Seo Changbin, the other men who are credited the same amount, are just as capable of standing up for this.
The parasocial relationship this entire fandom has with Chan (that can be both for love and admiration or hatred and jealousy btw) comes with this huge amount of expectations for him but also for the infantilization of the other members.
Chan is the dad, the one who’s capable and dependable and calls the shots and the other 7 fully adult cis able-bodied millionaire males are just...there. They have no opinions, they have no responsibilities, they have no say.
They’re all 23+ in age and Chan being the oldest is hardly an excuse as to why he’s being pointed as the sole member who needs to take a stance since Minho is no more than a year younger than him.
These are grown men who have been legal voters for years already, and have been raised and socialized in a culturally conservative country. Chan being brave enough to talk about his own political and social views (not the group’s, since the text I’m replying to seemed put him in “skz” when it came to praising) should be a breath of fresh air but instead it only gave him more responsibility when it comes to “educating” the other members, somehow.
I am of the opinion that these expectations only fall on him because you think you know him on a personal level, whereas the others kept the fans at a safe distance from the beginning.
Singling someone out for being “the oldest'' doesn't fly. He speaks for himself only, not for everyone. If it’s about taking a stance, I need all of them to come forward individually and use their social status for what they believe. They aren’t alienated from the world and they have the same amount of free time Chan has, signed the same contracts and are just as grown and capable.
What happened yesterday with name dropping Chan exclusively was no more than people who cultivated a deep rooted parasocial relationship with him  (easily noticeable since skz_8283 and the people backing her up are all +18 RPF writers) and seem to think that media consuming and tweeting is activism.
The doubling down on still pointing him out as the sole precursor instead of actually demonstrating their distaste towards the people who decided that this chart gamble would be real, or even at the very least expecting the same amount of responsibility from the other members was even more upsetting.
The anger towards this project is completely justified, but as long as you keep Chan in the middle of your rage it will also be completely misplaced. Chan doesn’t have a choice in this, redirect your demands towards the people who actually call the shots: Republic Records and JYPE/DIV1.

Note
I don't really think Eggman has ever really shown true inability to care about others in canon.
Like as soon as Adventure 2 he's established to have admired and been inspired by his Grandfather to become a great scientist and seems pretty genuinely disappointed that he'd try and simply wipe out humanity including him.
Honestly, I'd argue Eggman keeping robots like Orbot and Cubot around just shows Eggman has to have some sort of soft spot for his creations.
There's no real reason for them to have their personalities in the first place beyond Eggman wanting to have people to talk to. Sure, he's a total jerk to them a lot, but he could scrap them or replace them with silent less annoying robots anytime he wants, but he doesn't, even though they screw up and both directly and indirectly mock him constantly.
If anything, Lost World shows he likes them enough to save them from falling into Lava when in the flashback he clearly swoops down with his jetpack to save them before escaping and tries to fix Cubot as best he can when he loses his body. As robots they're beyond replaceable to a man who can pump out 50 battleships in an afternoon, but he doesn't.
I mean, I'd argue any supervillain who goes out of their way to build sentient robots kind of inherently implies loneliness as a character trait. Him growing to more openly care about Sage isn't that unthinkable in my opinion. We've never seen it before, but we've also never seen Eggman be so completely dependent on someone else before. She's the only thing keeping him alive for most of the game, and she's loyal despite probably having the same capacity to ditch him robots like Metal Sonic and Omega have.
I don't see it that way. There's been plenty of times where he's shown he doesn't give a damn about others way more blatantly than what people speculate and interpret as him having the ability to care.
I still feel that with SA2, he was disappointed that Gerald hadn't considered him personally as his grandson that admired and was inspired by his genius might still be around to be affected and how his actions almost resulted in his destruction and the world he wants to rule too. He only said "did he really mean to destroy us" in his refection of it because everyone literally would've died if it had succeeded. It really seems that way when he'd still go on to cause catastrophic global destruction just steps away from completely destroying the planet himself multiple times after.
He's also shown that he lacks empathy for how his actions affect others over and over again. Not only by continuing to cause mass destruction to the world that would result in death as long as it still exists to rule but also with the way he's acknowledged that his plans will have collateral damage resulting in deaths, is willing to commit genocide, and knows that he's hurting people physically sometimes even through direct attempted murder and mentally through manipulation and gaslighting and doesn't care. He even attempted to blow up a city of innocent people.
He also hasn't been seen to care about his creations as he insults, abandons, punishes and tries to destroy Metal, the E Series, SA-55 and Orbot and Cubot, and Omega the second they disobey or even mildly displease him after trying their best. He was cruel to Emerl despite him once being in the hands of Gerald, beating him when he didn't do as he was told and manipulating to take advantage of his softness and then mocking him for it. There's even Gerald's creation with Shadow, who he sees as nothing but a tool he's entitled to, manipulates and gaslights him, and doesn't care that he's understandably upset after. Shows that even having connection to his actual blood family doesn't make him care.
It's shown countless times that his creations, lackeys and other artificial beings, whether he created them or not, are just tools he can easily throw away, replace, break down and reuse, or destroy. Why he keeps Orbot and Cubot around in particular is pure speculation as they didn't imply he sees them as family like Boom Egg. I headcanon that it's because he likes the challenge of combatting the sass of Orbot and dumbness of Cubot to feel superior but sometimes they piss him off too much. And that SA-55 was the first attempt but it was too much to the point he has to scrap him. It can be seen as him liking to have assistants to order around and mistreat to feel superior and that makes it more messed up actually.
The "never has a thought for anyone else" bio in Advance 2 wasn't lying. He's deeply selfish and self centered and there isn't a single moment that people use as reasons to imply he has the ability to care that I can't explain in a way that adds up with my points instead. And I don't like or think him creating things is a sign of loneliness, he was fine on his own for years before he has SA-55 and Orbot and Cubot to interact with. He seems to like being independent and working on his own a lot. I can't imagine it sincerely working for him to be dependent or caring for an AI all of a sudden with all this in mind, the contrast and contradiction is too vast in comparison, even more so with how fast they forced it into the plot in Frontiers.
I kind of rushed my points here because I don't really want to debate this anymore but here's an attempted summary. I think that's everything I want to say without making this way longer.

Author Swap!
"Today's lesson - next slide, please - is about how to destroy a world."
I rush to swap out the image underneath the light of the projector. The image of it wasn't very good when I first obtained at at Mistress's request, but after a bit of cleaning and polishing, it looks something close to nice. That is the case for the rest of the room, too; this little makeshift classroom doesn't even look makeshift anymore, not with the chalkboard, desks, and chairs I cobbled together. It looks like it could exist in a proper school, not just as one of many side projects in Mistress's evil lair.
As she instructs the class on the typical, boring methods - nuclear war, bioweapons, climate change, et cetera, - I tune out of the actual lecture content. I don't need to listen because I've heard it all before. I'm set up in the same way I always am: I have Mistress's notes, my own schedule of the slides, and rapt attention directed at the front of the room.
It's difficult not to. All of Mistress's outfits - which I wash, dry, and iron every Thursday - are eye catching, and this is no exception. Her blood red dress, with its high neckline and wide bell sleeves, is easily the brightest thing in the room. It swishes against he floor as she paces in front of the board, instructing the dozen or so prospective henchmen on the ways of evil.
Mistress knows all about evil. She frequently battles with local heroes, thwarting their silly "do good" ways and enacting her own schemes. She doesn't always win, but that's the most evil thing of all: she always rises again.
As she talks, I have to take great care to not be mesmerized by her beauty. I have a presentation to assist with, and though Mistress has never let me apply for the henchman position, I take great pride in being the best personal assistant I can be.
Maybe that's what she wants to see from me. Maybe if I prove myself to be an absolutely indispensable personal assistant, she'll let me go on the front lines to execute her evil schemes instead of staying in the lair all the time. Maybe then I'll finally be her henchman.
Maybe then Mistress will really notice me and how I care for her. In the evillest way possible, of course.
These are the same things I've told myself over the past two years, but I try not to lose hope. Having hope isn't very evil of me, but I don't think I let it show.
As the class progresses, I switch out the slides seamlessly and find myself mouthing the words of the lesson along with Mistress. She has run a lot of these classes. They're a part of her vigorous vetting process for the perfect henchman, along with an obstacle course, an interview, and other components I'm not privy to.
I don't know how effective it's been, as the longest-lasting henchman we've had only lasted a few months before mistress fired her for incompetence - it's always incompetence - but it isn't my place to question. I'm supposed to take care of the laundry, the cooking, the cleaning, the slideshows, and want to be at Mistress's side at any time, in any capacity. I would kill a man to be her henchman.
Hmm. Maybe that would please her.
I idly think about how I would kill someone to please her as I continue to assist with the slides. The rest of the presentation proceeds as smoothly as it always does, and once Mistress dismisses all the prospects, she collapses into the nearest chair and puts her head in her hands.
"Are you alright?" I ask, rushing to her side. "Do you need water? Medicine? Food? I can cook right-"
She holds up a hand to stop me.
I swallow thickly and hope I haven't disappointed her.
"I'm just frustrated with this batch," she says. "I think they might all be busts."
She picks her head up and looks at me intently. I find myself, as I always do, completely enraptured by her face. Her lipstick matches the blood red of her dress, which glows against her brown skin. Her high cheekbones and arched brows make her face regal. Her long dark hair is kept back in a very practical bun.
But what most captivates me are her eyes. They're framed by long lashes, beautiful, and unfathomably deep.
I feel my best when Mistress has her eyes on me.
"You know more about the ways of evil than any of the prospects," she murmurs.
It's true. I know how to maim, kill, torture, kidnap, steal, lie, cheat, concoct, resurrect, and every other evil skill in the book. I've learned everything at Mistress's side.
"You're unflinchingly loyal," she continues, keeping her eyes on me.
I would die for evil, and, more importantly, I would die for Mistress.
"And you've always demonstrated the utmost competence."
I take very great care not to smile. This is it. She's going to finally see me. She will realize that I am the best possible henchman she could ask for, that I have two years' worth of learning at her side under my belt. That there is no better cause, no better purpose in my mind than serving her.
Mistress reaches out, and I steel myself for what might be coming my way. An embrace? A grasp? A kiss?
"I guess that's why you're such a spectacular personal assistant," Mistress says, patting me twice on the head, like a dog. "I need a new batch of candidates. Send the ad into the newspaper again."
Mistress truly is evil. I know this, but right now is the first time I have ever hated her for it.
That makes me evil, too. Doesn't it? Do I not qualify?
"Yes, Mistress," I say, keeping my voice and face level.
She smiles, and I realize I hate myself more for wanting to know what those blood red lips would feel like against mine.
"And start dinner as well, please. Stupidity makes me hungry."
With that, she leaves me in the makeshift classroom to clean up the chairs and the projector from this little room in the lair, and I do it as I always do: alone.

Just say you’re a closeted Taekooker and go. The Taennie situation is suspicious? No it’s not. Lol. Taehyung is dating Jennie, get over it. And I’m curious as to why you think that “realistically speaking” no ship is real? These boys have been close friends for more than ten years, is it impossible for romantic feelings to develop? I bet there are a hell lot more ships in Kpop that are/were real and will never be revealed. Queer people are everywhere, and the entertainment industries is especially saturated with us. :)
My first “closeted Taekooker” accusation🫢 Finally!!!?
Tumblr media
Provided my last three posts were just me defending Taekook from “fanservice” allegations, I expected this much sooner so thank you but you definitely missed the mark on this anon lml.
Anyway, I didn’t use the word suspicious. Although it has similar connotations to “weird” or “strange”, I still don’t think “suspicious” is what I was going for. It’s just weird *shrugs *. I think many people can see that. Like I said in the post, that opinion is independent of them actually dating or not. Even if Taehyung posts a picture of him and Jennie tomorrow, I will forever stick with my opinion that the way their relationship was dealt with in the public eye for the last year or so is strange. And at the end of the day, it’s just my opinion. Jennie and Taehyung definitely don’t care what user mimibwi on tumblr has to say about their relationship😭.
About no ship being real. The comment isn't meant to disprove the existence of queer people. I do know that we exist. I also don't get why you thought I was implying that because the members possibly being queer isn't limited to ships within BTS. They can all be attracted to men and still not be dating each other...
When I say "realistically” or rather “If we’re looking at this seriously” (which is what i actually said), I am looking at BTS as what they are- a brand, a business. When we see BTS what they're doing is working, this is their job. And I fully stand with anyone who thinks that it's possible that the members could have developed feelings for each other. However, I also am of the opinion that these men are professional and I think the chance of them taking (what can be seen as) a huge risk to their brand, career and future is very small. (A chance being small doesn’t mean impossible) And once again, this has nothing to do with their sexuality and everything to do with them wanting to maintain the integrity(?) of BTS as a team. I know shippers play around with things like "maybe they broke up" or "maybe he left x for y" and those are all good when it's just fun and games but that isn't what these real people's lives are. Can you imagine how much of a strain it would put on the team's dynamic if Jikook or Yoonmin or Namjin or whoever you ship were together and then break up, whether amicably or not? This is looking at it in a very negative way but I think if any of the guys were to ever date or mess around, all of these things would've or at least should've been considered. So the reason why I think it's less likely that any ship is "real" is the same reason I think it's unlikely that any of the boys have messed around with their stylists or makeup artists etc. Can it happen? Of course. Is it advised? Probably not. But these two situations can’t be looked at on the same scale—there are a lot of nitty gritty details that make these too different but i won’t bore you much longer. Either way, BTS are global pop icons and I doubt it will be very easy to deal with a fallout (a break up, them possibly being outed etc. etc.) of any relationship amongst a group of their capacity and the members are surely aware of that.
As I mentioned in the post, I am saying all of this as a shipper, as a person who, on some days (my most delulu ones), wonders to myself how everyone doesn't see that the members of my ship have serious romantic feelings for each other. I am an overthinker, I think of as many possibilities under the sun as I can. And notice that I keep saying possibilities because none of my opinions are ever meant to enforce any particular views on anyone. I am just looking at things from many different perspectives. This is my HR/PR perspective here lol. I can even try to look at it from Bang PD's perspective and even he wouldn't have the final say on whether the boys decide to pursue a relationship or not. At the end of it all, It's up to the members of that ship whether they are willing to take the "risk" or not and my hunch usually leans towards them not being willing to (this is once again something I can expand a bit more on but i’ll save you from it) which is why i shared that opinion anon.
This is a topic I have many thoughts on, my views on it aren’t limited to what I’ve expressed here— it’s just difficult to explain. I can debate with myself for a long time on why i think it’s likely no ship is real while still being a shipper. The whole point of that opinion wasn’t to declare that “no ship is real so give it up”. Instead it was meant to encourage shippers to doubt themselves cause some of y’all (maybe not you specifically) are just too comfortable and confident when you could just be loud and wrong. We could all be wrong.

Hello, sorry if I bother you with this ask but I would like an objective opinion from someone who doesn't hate or love Bakugou in an extreme that can cloud the opinion issued. After this chapter, most of the fandom is talking about Bakugou's importance to Midoriya, but something I've noticed is that they seem to focus any action made by Izuku only on his relationship with Bakugou and that he only gets impulsive reactions around him. One of the things that I have noticed the most that are used to measure Midoriya's future reaction is his reaction during the war, but it seems that the entire part before Bakugou's sacrifice was ignored. Izuku fought Tomura/AFO before, Midoriya had managed to awaken Nana's quirk as a reaction to the stress caused by the fight and above all to see both Gran Torino and Aizawa almost being killed, during this confrontation Midoriya took his body to its maximum capacity until almost consumed by destroying Tomura and that put him at a disadvantage as he would have almost been stabbed if Bakugou hadn't intervened.
After this Midoriya goes into a kind of shock but reacts again with more rage after AFO's words about the sacrifice, especially as Bakugou's sacrifice had been the most useless of all. I think this is where the majority interprets that Midoriya's reaction is due to and only because of Bakugou but I think this reduces the character and ignore all the construction. Sure, Bakugou sacrificed himself is an important fact especially if we take into account their story but what really makes Izuku react is how someone he cares about could die for him and the villain only makes fun of this. I think the point I want to make is that many in the fandom only reduce Midoriya to his relationship with Bakugou without taking into account that from previous experiences anyone who had been put in the position of Bakugou would have received the same reaction, that it was Bakugou in particular it's due more than anything to his redemption plot than to the character himself, even now Bakugou is the one AFO has most at hand to use against Midoriya. However I don't know if this is just my impression or the fandom is overexaggerating Bakugou as a character and misunderstanding Midoriya.
Sorry for such a long ask and I hope it's not a bother.
Actually if anything asks like this make me happy and giddy. Regardless of topic and I’m glad you think of me as Bakugou neutral. I really am since I never been one to like rival character over protagonists but I value their importance and can enjoy them. He’s just in this weird area where the fandom and his popularity kinda divides everything. But enough about that!
To Izuku the Katsuki Bakugou in his head is someone amazing and never loses. It why when they were forced to team up he got pissed that Bakugou wasn’t willing to work with him and willing to lose. That not the Bakugou he knows tho the guy was ready to murder him for that. However no one can deny his importance to Izuku but I have to point out that it isn’t a good thing.
This is just as bad as his hero worship of All Might as he wants to defeat him but keeps thinking “he is so great.” He still retains the low self worth he had prior to UA because no one really aware it exists. He doesn’t WANT people to know he also thinks of himself as a shitty all might fanboy. If anything he is suffering what I want to call is Imposter syndrome.
But we talking about his relationship to Katsuki Bakugou. His childhood friend and his bully which Horikoshi has said both. He has even called him a narcissist in a analysis but also someone Izuku admires greatly. The closest person to him because of YEARS knowing him but it isn’t always a good thing. Both sides twist their relationships and it honestly bothers me.
It’s definitely NOT rainbow and kittens never once has Izuku said I’ve forgiven you. Heck when Bakugou tried to call him by name he very politely said ‘don’t force yourself.’
What not pointed out is that the reason Bakugou said it changes nothing is because realized Izuku was uncomfortable. Thus why said it loudly as a way to back track, their relationship has not healed. It is progress and Izuku always wanted to be his friend but he isn’t comfortable with him saying his name.
This is important, as he keeping a barrier between himself and Bakugou. The very same one he went berserk over prior. This is not to say Bakugou can be easily replaced but there is a reason he is deep in the story. Izuku.
This is AFTER that. During that fight Izuku was already mentally stressed and literally fought to defend Shoto from Touya despite it not being his buisiness. Yet no one mentions that part because he didn’t go berserk. He is wearing himself out constantly trying to help everyone the main reason he went berserk is the idea of sacrificing being a waste. That someone might die for HIM so I very much agree with you it that very context.
Someone who for years he always seen as undefeatable then he was told he WASTED HIS LIFE FOR HIM. That’s why he cried and went berserk. He cried at the idea that someone died for the worthless Deku that all this death is because of him. So yes there is a specific reason he flipped out all that lack of self worth, placing Bakugou on this pedestal as he STILL hasn’t defeated him. The death, destruction, it had to be Bakugou because it shows Bakugou is flawed and not unbeatable.
It also why they aren’t wrong about the fact Bakugou is such a huge influence. But it is NOT in a positive way this boy has seen Bakugou be lifted as the greatest thing society has to offer. He is spurred on to save people he wants to DEFEAT Bakugou because he admires him so much. Him dying would be losing that chance, never being able to prove himself and forever hating himself for his failure.
Though I’m more then aware of the fact the fandom reduce Izuku to his relationship with Bakugou. Many claim a lot of things about their relationship in love, spiteful, co dependent but the funniest thing is. No one really focuses on WHY it’s like that? Izuku isn’t in love with Bakugou tho he no longer afraid of him.
He’s happy to be his friend! Finally the guy everyone in his old school admires is letting him train and talk to him! But he hasn’t let go of the things Bakugou has said, he doesn’t encourage him to use his name, he shut it down politely and NEVER mentions the apology.
To him it seems Katsuki is an obstacle to over come, to admire, and to strive for.
Izuku isn’t allowing Bakugou a chance to redeem himself because it would be acknowledging all the terrible things that happened. It be admitting that if he never got a quirk there is no way he be a hero or they be friends. It is Izuku causing a lot of misunderstanding because I don’t think even he understands it himself.
But from everything I’ve seen he wants to defeat Bakugou. That is something I don’t think has changed and I really wish he win just one fight with him. But we are at the end and once more Bakugou relation with Izuku is brought up.
They are important to each other but no one understanding that Izuku wants to defeat him because he thinks he is amazing. He wants to prove that he isn’t the worthless Deku, and if there any reason why it specifically Bakugou that breaks the camel back. It because he never resolved the issues that keep holding him back.
TLDR; Both sides have their interpretation and that is fine. But their relationship is meant to be rivals and is in fact super important as it is what drives Izuku. Many assume that it either abuser and victim or they in love. When it truly is neither it is more an UNHEALTHY admiration like All Might and if anything Izuku is trying to also ignore the sketchy past and brush it off.
This is the flaw in their relationship and Izuku seriously needs to address. Then maybe things can be cleared up because their relationship is what I call complicated. Or he needs to let GO of this admiration so can truly face the issues and things he suffered with a clear head.

hiiiiiiiiiiii, on this you said:
On the other hand, I felt really warm about Robert seeing Michael and Michael truly being the one he loved most (which is also weird because, Robert, you have children), and also on the other hand, like you said, it was just for fan service.
It's funny that you mentioned this because I consider myself the most obsessed Waywood shipper to walk on earth but before CJ announced she would include this detail (it's interesting that as I mentioned in another ask she was the one to even come up with romantic Michael/Robert in the first place and now obviously she was the one to want to include this and CC just okayed it bc why not, right) I didn't have much hope that Robert realistically would have seen Michael there. I used to have some discussions with friends about Robert and Maryse regarding that rune, and I guess it's some sort of loophole since the rune isn't much explained.
A problem in these books you have talked about before is how some characters demonstrate that their capacity of love don't have enough "room" for different relationships. I think this was somehow made better in TDA, where Julian's fierce love for his siblings is clear enough and co-exist with his love for Emma. At the same time, I believe that he would have seen Emma if he was under the effect of that rune, as his love for her is the one that would "stand out" - he wouldn't show some sort of favoritism toward one of his siblings.
But this was all several books after the rune scene. At the time, the most realistic one we know about was Jocelyn seeing Clary. Luke seeing Jocelyn also matches very much. Amatis seeing Stephen, very okay too.
Following my observation that I believe Julian would have seen Emma, I can make the stretch for Robert and figure that the rune couldn't possible make Robert choose between one of his children, so the rune goes for the love that never had any other "match"/a love that stands out and isn't "shared" with others, as the rune hardly could make someone hallucinate many people at once. That would ruin the vibe I guess.
Let's not even discuss Alec on that, please, like.... no......
No idea who Maryse would've seen, if she isn't supposed to choose between her children, there is still Robert, and maybe that would not be so weird together with Amatis seeing Stephen, the guy that left her to marry someone else, I don't know, it's not like we understand Robert and Maryse's relationship that much. There are possibilities and all, but I don't think Maryse would've seen her long-parted brother either
ANYWAY the real problem is at the core of it: the existence of the rune goes from the assumption that everyone certainly has this one special person they love the most. I have no idea of who I, or my brother, or any of my parents would have seen. This is not how love in real life works
but WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS TO ME is that I get to use the graphic novel page of Robert seeing Michael in that scene as my phone lockscreen ❤️❤️❤️ Waywood4Ever and all that, thank you CJ
- R
CJ’s Waywood art has been rather sentimental for a relationship that didn’t prominently feature in the series. At least in that regard I think she has succeeded as an artist. I agree about your notion about Julian, and it does make sense that no one would pick favorites. Makes sense that Jocelyn saw Clary because she only had Clary and nothing could come between Jocelyn’s love for her daughter. So yeah, it’s a bit more proportional than what I casually threw out there.
But there’s also the issue I have because how does the rune affect the type of love you see? Jocelyn sees her familial love whereas Luke sees romantic love. It would definitely ruin the vibe but its function does raise questions. Maybe Maryse wouldn’t have seen her brother, because they have been apart for so long, but then again, Amatis and Luke somewhat lasted through Luke’s exile, though they don’t appear super close (but there is heavy stuff there unsaid). Max Trueblood, incidentally, is also a road not taken, since he is out there living a mundane life with a mundane spouse, totally forgotten and irrelevant. MAYBE HAVING UNPROTECTED NEPHILIM PROGENY???
But anyway, despite it being somewhat-canon-somewhat-not-canon, I did enjoy it when I first saw the panel.

dolores cannon notes:
♡︎ 'She came back into this lifetime with the plan of helping other people, to make up for her inability to help in that lifetime. Her present father had been one of the Nazi soldiers, the first to rape her. He had returned to repay the injustice by being her father, intending to raise and protect her. That had been the plan, but it apparently changed after he got here into the body. The subconscious said he got caught up in the ways of the flesh, and forgot his original purpose. This shows that even though the incoming soul has a good plan and noble intentions to repay karma, life has a way of affecting them, and being human is not that easy. On the other side it always looks easy, like it would be simple to accomplish. But the incoming soul forgets that, because this is a world of free will, it will have to contend with the free will of others, and the pressures of being human dealing with emotions. So he was caught up in it, and regrettably accumulated more karma. Both of these men are to be pitied rather than reviled.'
♡︎ 'A case of extreme depression and isolation from society (since childhood) was traced back through two former lifetimes. Although the man was born into a very large family (12 children), he never felt a closeness to any of them. There was always the feeling of isolation, and depression. This continued throughout his life: a feeling of apathy, of not caring, of being an observer on the outside looking in. He was treated by psychiatrists and put on medication for depression, but he didn’t think it did any good. Even natural remedies had no affect. One diagnosis called it “Freedom from harm” complex. In other words, to avoid being hurt, it was easier to shut down and not get involved with people or anything. It was a lonely existence, even his job gave him no satisfaction. Suicide only made things worse, because the law of karma says that you must repeat the same circumstances until you learn the lesson. And that certainly seemed true, as he tearfully said, “My life now is a repeat of that one. I didn’t escape from anything.” He thought the first woman that he was attracted to in this present life was the same woman from the other life, and she also rejected him. History was repeating itself.'
♡︎ 'He still thought about his lost love, and wanted to be with her again. He was told that love was what it was all about, but to experience the same relationship again would not advance him. He could be with her again, but in a different role capacity. That was what it was all about: switching and playing different parts, often with the same people. Thus we return again and again, switching back and forth in our role-playing in the next scenario. The important thing to remember was that we could never lose that love. Death cannot separate us. It is just placed in another form, but it is never lost. Love is the greatest lesson of all, no matter how many challenges it must go through. We are always reunited in one form or another. To understand love and experience it is the ultimate lesson. Once we understand this, we can have love and compassion for everyone, for we never know which role they have chosen to play this time around.'
♡︎ 'When the body dies, is there any pain associated with it when the spirit leaves?
A: No. It seems that the spirit leaves the body shortly before the physical body actually dies. I thought of sudden death in war. There seems to be great confusion. Also other sudden, “accidental” deaths. In old age and in illness, the spirit takes trips out in preparation.
Q: Many people have told me that when a baby is born, the spirit doesn’t remain in the body all the time. Is this correct? A: The spirit is aware of the time of conception, and it is possible for the spirit to “check in” on the progress of the fetus. It seems to enter at birth or shortly after. But because it is so connected to the spirit world, it does take “trips” to visit the familiar home. Sudden infant death seems to be when the spirit chooses to stay in the spirit world. Or perhaps stayed longer than the newly emerging physical body is able to operate on its own. It seems that we do need the force of the spirit in cooperation with the physical body in order to maintain physical life.'
♡︎ 'Q: Is there really much difference between meditation and prayer?
A: There is a large difference. “Prayer” is consciously directed energy. “Meditation” is being open to what comes in. Prayer is directing, not so much asking. Prayer means to consciously direct your thoughts which are your power.
Q: Then prayer is a real thing?
A: Prayer is definitely real, and it is definitely powerful.'

But you're not explaining how Kaguya actually beats sakura like using any manga pages you're just saying she does I can explain how sakura beats Kaguya 1. in boruto she can beats her using her seal she pretty much never runs out of Charaka in her novel sakura hidden (which is cannon btw☠️) she can respond her arm so if she loses any body parts she can literally just grow them back once again sakura scales= base naruto and Sasuke which would mean she can beat Kaguya sakura literally scales over Kaguya in feats which means she would beat Kaguya Unless you can show me feats and proof Kaguya is stronger shut up midnata stans 🤦‍♀️
Nothing you said is true though.
First Sakura's seal was at full capacity during the war as stated when she first got it so the amount of chakra is the same meaning she can run out. So your first point is completely invalid as it is impossible for Sakura to have infinite or more chakra then Kaguya. Her seal not running out of chakra in the novel doesn't mean anything that just means she didn't use that much chakra or she didn't resort to needing to use the chakra in her seal that much. Keep in mind Sakura only uses the chakra in the seal when she releases creation rebirth or when she is using Katsuyu.
Tumblr media
Your second point being able to heal doesn't scale Sakura to Kaguya,Naruto or Sasuke. Her healing doesn't make her a better fighter nor stronger at all it just means she can take more punishment.
Also Ash killing bone completely negates Sakura's healing as it deteriorates at the molecular level, disintegrating the victim to ash. Creation rebirth heals through cell division so Sakura can't heal from it.
Tumblr media
Sakura couldn't react to Kaguya walking past her, can't you see how shocked Sakura is when Kaguya appears right in her line of sight so suddenly. that is how much of a difference there is between Kaguya and Sakura.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sakura doesn't scale to base Naruto and Sasuke there is no evidence to suggest she does you've just been falsely claiming so, but all your reasons for doing so I have already proven false. You say Sakura has feats that puts her over Kaguya, but there are none, not in Naruto nor Boruto Sakura doesn't have anything that put her on Kaguya's, Naruto's nor Sasuke's level. Your so called feats are all none existent or your reaching by purposely misinterpreting things that don't actually make Sakura scale to Kaguya's level.
So before you go on about proofs and feats why don't you actually give some yourself cause so far you've been mostly all talk and I've debunked everything you said.
Also the Retsuden novels aren't canon till they get referenced in the Boruto anime or manga as currently the events of the novels can't fit into the current official canon timeline. Naruto is never stated or implied to be seriously sick somthing that wouldn't be left out, more so with Sakura and Sasuke going on a mission cause of it. There is no reference to Retsuden in the official timeline considering the novel is supposed to take place between the Mujina Bandits Arc and Ao Arc there is no way for the events to made canon in that time frame. Even the author of the novels stated that only the original manga is true.

And for no true Scotsman… that’s an interesting dynamic…. Because it’s like for any ideology or system of beliefs theoretically yeah… we could get to a point that 99-100% of people claiming to be X are actually probably not X. It’s possible. It’s just a fallacy if you are making the definition sooooo narrow on purpose to get out of a jam in an argument. The fallacious/cheating reasoning existing doesn’t mean we can’t make good faith and meaningful arguments that would mean the majority of self-described X not being X. Especially if we acknowledge things like, ok maybe there is a historical X and a modern X and the modern people clearly have MOVED what X means at this point. But it’s now fair to emphasize that they aren’t meaningfully meeting the previous/ historical definition of X. You see that a lot with political ideology words tbh. Like here’s a fun one — what’s a conservative? What’s a liberal? It’s contextual in time and place and even then you will get disagreeing factions and people who think each other don’t count and each have good arguments for it.
I do think it’s just really interesting to think about how words for beliefs, movements shared across groups of people both are meaningful and will never be all that stable. With a political movement there is always disagreement within as well as without and it’s like the line between variations within a species vs super closely related but separate species. Where is that line? How much disagreement = broken up into factions? How much disagreement before one or more of those factions “aren’t” the original term?
Also with all these political movement/faction terms.. so much depends on context. Once enough time has passed it can be the heir to the older idea, but it will never be the same and is probably different enough to start drawing lines and naming eras.
With radfem for example for better and worse, there is so little allegiance or even awareness to the ideology of the mid 20 c radfems that I am ready to describe that as a full split. An evolution with changes based on newer information available, experiences and reactions to events and other ideologies/factions rising, etc. Modern radfems are inspired-by but not the same as the earlier ones, with rare exceptions there are no second wavers who aren’t literally the women who were at their most active in that time period.
Again I think the evolution is a good thing — we do need to always be reevaluating, take in new information and new contexts — and a bad thing, when it’s out of ignorance of the past and not thoughtful sifting through it that’s leading to the change in what modern self-described radfem is vs the more stable definition
Overall I accept it’s changing and want to make the most of our chance to influence the shape of the new incarnation
Another thought is I call myself a feminist (no adjectives) even though i disagree in at least one way with 99% of self described feminists and strongly disagree with the majority faction on core points. I’m fighting for the space. I want my core concept of feminist to become THE core concept for the majority. And were unlikely to get what we don’t fight for. Still that’s such a delicate political question— when is it better for me to say I’m an ex feminist and define some new thing like, “women’s liberationist” and call myself that? Perhaps. Or perhaps not. There’s something to gain and lose either way. What matters I guess is which move most advances our organizing capacity.
I have nothing to add but I appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
