this is a poster i made for my call to action assignment in humanities! it's a bunch of basic and easy stretches for people who sit and work at a desk all day (me)
the idea is that you'd put the poster up above ur desk and do the stretches every 30 minutes or so,, the whole routine won't take more than about 6 minutes to complete and when done regularly it can prevent wrist, shoulder, neck and back pain! :)
all these stretches can be done while sitting (although i HIGHLY recommend you stand up and move around while taking a break from working)

POSTURE.
Posture is important for many health related reasons. But having good posture also helps you look better aesthetically. Posture is a form of body language and is one of the first impressions you can give to people. It can signal to others that you are open, engaged, and in control of the situation. This can enhance your social interactions and professional relationships. Having better posture also shows off an aura of confidence as you are standing up straight and not slouched over which can send a closed off message.
HOW TO IMPROVE IT:
Here is my updated routine that I follow that allows you to have upright posture and achieve the 90 degree shoulder look.
These are my top 3 videos that I have done for sometime and have liked the results they give. I usually only do the one by oppserve regulary, but if I am feeling good I will pick another by any of the ones I have listed. The one by XHIT is more of a workout video than a stretch so I would include that in my workout routine, the rest I would do them after I finished a workout. To start seeing results I reccomened doing atleast 1 or 2 workout videos for 7 days. You can do one in the morning and another in the evening if you feel like it but once a day is still fine. You do have to keep on doing them to maintain the look or it will go back to what it was before. I don't do it everyday but 4/7 days a week just because it fits my schedule and is the amount of times I work out anyways.

Do your or followers have recommendations for good wrist stretches for troweling? The project I'm at is doing piece plotting and ooh my wrists are sore. I know some basic wrist stretches but wasn't sure if there's some more specific ones good for that kind of work. Thanks!
Hmm I'll put this out there for archaeoblr to answer collectively. I'm not in the field much so I don't have a stretching regime off the top of my head. I'll also link to this post from @buckets-of-dirt that has some suggested stretches, including one for the wrists.

i should make a full post about accessible stretches later but for si joint dysfunction they tell you to do a bridge and the fucked up thing is it helps a lot. but obv many of us myself included can’t do that. so what you do is you lay on the bed on your side and try to move your shoulders and feet as close to one another as possible bending your spine backwards. a bridge on the x rather than z plane

the top one focuses on upper body and the bottom focuses on lower body !! they’re both very good stretches to do when you wake up and before you go to bed !! (i’ve noticed the top one is helping with my posture)
this is a full body stretch, it doesn’t hurt at all and it feels very natural .. it has helped me a ton !!
