at LEAST top 20 rvd moment was when archie was like "i need to overcome my weakness to palladium" and cheryl was like "have u tried microdosing by putting it in a soup:)" and they were both like yeah this is an awesome plan so archie started microdosing on Kryptonite Rock Soup and then promptly almost fucking DIED on account of the poisoning himself. and then he got forged. in the mines. which was awesome

eddie started high school knowing about the harrington family; his uncle had a few choice words to say about how they treated those with fewer advantages and how they were best avoided.

as he went through high school, he started hearing about one specific member of the harrington family in particular, from overhearing gossip in the corridors and cafeteria, from the school newspaper.

walking around school, he saw a lot of steve harrington. saw another pretty boy thinking high school popularity was everything.

and while steve never pushed eddie around or called him slurs, his friends certainly did, as steve just watched.

he always stared at him, dared steve to do anything, to help, to hurt. to end the bullying in some way.

outside those confrontations, eddie was too busy to care about steve harrington. too busy trying to keep up his grades and dealing and running hellfire and practising with corroded coffin.

so he didn't care when steve started going out with nancy wheeler.

he didn't wonder if steve could ever look at him like that. he didn't wonder what it would be like to kiss him, or run his fingers through the famous hair.

pining over straight boys that stood around watching as he got beat up could never end happily.

eddie had been forced to be good at being realistic from an early age. maybe he could get the happy ending in dungeons and dragons, but not in high school.

and he had a lot else to focus on. retaking his senior year, finding new outcasts for hellfire, making sure that wayne didn't have to carry all the weight in providing for the two of them.

eddie had no time over to think about some pretty boy, not even when that pretty boy falls from grace.

not even when the pretty boy shows up with a beat-up face. not even when the pretty boy is the subject of all the gossip he overhears.

but then summer comes.

but then his friends bring him to the new mall.

but then he sees steve in a sailor getup that is as ridiculous as it is scandalous.

and eddie might be good at being realistic when he has to, but he has always been a dreamer.

and the steve working at scoops ahoy is not the steve that stood to the side in high school.

so eddie ditches his friends to get some ice cream.

Tubbo wasn’t hiding. Not at all. That would be ridiculous. He was simply purposefully avoiding Pac by ducking into different buildings and not responding when he called. That wasn't hiding.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a flash of hands. 

He looked up to see Richas, frowning down at him. 

“Sorry what?” 

“Why are you hiding?” he signed again. 

“I'm not hiding,” he sniped. “I am simply avoiding your father. No big deal.” 

Richas's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. “Why are you avoiding him? He's been blabbing all morning about how excited he is for your date.” 

Tubbo perked up against his will. “He is?” 

The young boy rolled his eyes. “Of course he is, mala.” 

Tubbo squinted at him. “I don't know exactly what that means but I don't like your tone.” 

“What tone?” Richas signed with a neutral expression. “I'm signing, there's no verbal tone.” 

“I hate you,” Tubbo said with no heat to his voice. 

“Cool,” Richas signed. “Can you stop hiding long enough to go on a date with my dad? I'm afraid he'll be depressed if you don't.” 

Tubbo groaned, covering his face with his hands. “Do I have to?” 

Richas slapped him across the face. “Yes,” he said in a crackling voice. 

Tubbo groaned again and crawled out from behind the rock he had been hiding behind. He glared at Richas when he got out. 

Within an instant Pac teleported beside them. 

“Tubbo! Richarylson told me he found you.” 

“Traitor,” Tubbo hissed before taking a deep breath. “Yeah, okay. I'm ready to go.” He gave Pac a hesitant smile. “Just go easy on me yeah? I'm not exactly new to these date things but they aren't my specialty or anything.” 

Pac grinned so widely at him. So open and trusting. “I'll treat you to the works. Don't worry, nenê. I got you.”

He stalks into the Blue and Gold, his heart skipping at the sight of a beautiful, swing-skirt-wearing blonde rearranging the photo layout. “Help me Betty Cooper, you’re my only hope,” he says. She quirks an eyebrow. “What?” He tugs his cap. “Ah, sorry, that movie hasn’t come out yet.” “What are you talking about, Jughead?” She giggles, her voice airy and light in a way that makes his stomach tighten with need. Her smile transcends timelines. He loves her in tight sweaters and nylons, but he misses her bandanas and overalls too. He’s not sure he can miss and adore someone when she’s standing right in front of him. Sort of. But he had that problem in other universes too.

So in regulardale there's the gay gene (separate but related to serial killer genes) but in 50sdale it seems that dating Betty is what makes you gay

There's the obvious, gay Kevin and Betty's flop beard moment

Then there's Betty and Archie's failed peep show leading directly into Archie hanging out with Kevin and clay and multiple characters (including Archie) imply Archie is gay

And now we have Reggie merely making eye contact with Betty through the window and then starting a homoerotic situationship with Archie

christ give daphne a personality. make HER the leader of the gang. show that she’s really into martial arts, that she’s also a huge mystery nerd. she also doesn’t have to be interested in fashion and makeup all the time. it is not mandatory to her character.

stop implying that velma is?? unattractive? or at least not as attractive as daphne? she doesn’t do makeup so what. she’s a nerd, she’s gorgeous. what a legend. also make her a canon lesbian in every interpretation.

why is it always shaggy who is a school loser and doesn’t really want to be with the gang? he hangs out with the gang not because he has nothing else to do but because he also has a passion for mysteries. he truly LOVES his friends.

you know that fred also has a personality other than being an athlete? hes a strategist, he loves making traps, he loves mysteries, he’s a cheerleader, he’s a huge nerd. why do you still portray him as a jock? also he’s autistic, good for him.

mature ≠ making everything about sexdrugsmurderetc. and why is it so hard to grasp that they’re friends? they’re equally important, they are a team.
