Dangerous, frightening, and scary were all words the village people used to describe you. But Izuku couldn’t understand how they could think any of that. Especially about you.

You were one of the most powerful witches in the enchanted forest. But you were kind, you used your power for good, often other creatures coming to you for help healing. You were powerful, kind, beautiful.

“How long has she been sick for?” You ask quietly, looking through your shelves of potions for the right one. You glance back at Izuku and his little daughter who he holds. The small werewolf girl, Isamu, coughing every once and a while, her cheeks and nose red, her wolf-like ears dropping.

Izuku was a werewolf from deeper in the forest. The mother of his child had left to be in a stronger pack, leaving Izuku alone with Isamu. You knew him a bit, he often visited you for potions even when you thought he didn’t exactly need them.

“A couple of days now…” He mutters quietly, gently brushing over Isamu’s curly green hair. You turn, potion bottle in hand. You kneel in front of him to be at eye level with the girl. You gently bring the potion bottle to her lips, watching her take a few sips.

You try to pull your hand away with the bottle but Isamu reaches out, taking you hand in her smaller one. A nervous chuckle leaves your mouth, you look up at Izuku but he doesn’t seem to care. Isamu keeps her hand in yours, clearly liking you even in her ill state.

“The potion will begin to set in soon. You’ll feel better, I promise” You say softly, your voice calm and quiet to soothe her.

Isamu looks at you with a pout on her face, bringing you hand to the top of her head, almost asking you to ruffle her hair or pet her wolf-like ears. You smile, doing what she silently asks for.

You were perfect, Izuku thinks, you’re just perfect. Perfect for him. You’re kind and sweet. You’re beautiful and strong. You’re so good with his daughter and it’s clear she likes you!

You look at him with this look in your eyes. One that makes him want to kiss you, make you his mate. Even if you aren’t a werewolf.

He lives deep enough in the enchanted forest, he could take you there. Keep you in his cave with him and Isamu. He will hunt for both of you. You will care for Isamu. You will have more pups with him. You will love him. It will be exactly what you deserve. To be loved and cared for. To have a family, a pack with him.

This is my favorite time of the year! As far as I’m concerned, Halloween runs from September 1 - November 15, if not longer! I currently have a big fic to finish up that should be done soon, but nothing else slated fic wise. After that, it’s full steam ahead for anything and everything related to Autumn and Halloween. I generally put aside other non-fic writing projects during this time to focus on Halloween content.

For the week of Halloween, October 25 - October 31, I intend to post a big daily oneshot. My stories generally range in size from 5k to 25k, and some are even more! Look for a mix of horror, humor, romance, and adventure! Everything will contain adult themes and mature content. There may be other writing throughout this time too. The quantity of stories I post depends on the length of them. In the past, I have posted a lot of shorter things, but I’ve gotten more into writing longer stories now. The last few years, I have averaged over 100k words for Halloween and Autumn content!

Please send me requests, ideas, thoughts, HCs, anything you like! I’ll pick my favorites or, very likely, a combination of a few different ideas, and I’ll write a oneshot that includes everything I can fit in. Feel free to send in multiple ideas or requests! The more ideas to choose from, the better! All AU concepts, time periods, etc are welcome. Anything is fair game. This is generally the only time of year I open requests anymore, so get them in if you ever want to. Requests will be open from now until Halloween. Niigata Division’s Valor Guard is an all-male rap group consisting of Chief of Police and Division Leader Seiji Tsukimoto, along with fellow members Homicide Detective Lyall Shiba, and Paramedic Ayumu Hayami.

The group's color is dark green. The color represents balance, harmony, and hope, something that the team wants to represent to the country.

The group's symbol is a lion that traditionally symbolizes courage and strength.

The group has some form of a lion on them. Seiji wears it as cufflinks on his dress shirt, Lyall wears it as a pin on his tie, and Ayumu has it as a tattoo on his shoulder. 

Their hand sign from Rhyme Anima is a V shape with their hands. 

Though these men may have joined the D.R.B. for different reasons, they all share the goal of keeping the country safe from harm.

Four Swords Fright Fight is a creative fandom event taking place during the month of October. All are invited to participate to contribute prompt-inspired fanworks for the Legend of Zelda: Four Swords manga by Akira Himekawa.

Each week is themed around a set of two opposing prompts:

Throughout each week, contributors will post fanart, fanfiction, and other fanworks based on one of the two prompts using the event tag #fsff23 (no space). Any single piece of work you post will count as a “vote” for your prompt of choice. Then, at the end of each week, we will declare a winning prompt based on the number of works created. 

This is not a competition with a prize. The “fight” aspect of the event is similar to Tumblr polls, simply a fun way for everyone to get invested and inspired!

This event will take place for the entire month of October, but we encourage you to start working on your contributions now!

Each week, we will count anything posted in the tag from 12:00 A.M. PST on Sunday to 11:59 P.M. PST on Saturday. This allows the event coordinators to count submissions and announce the winning prompt on Sunday. Please remember to use the #fsff23 tag so we can find your work. Anything lacking the tag won't be counted.

- You must tag your post properly to be counted! Use the tag #fsff23, any content warnings, and make it clear in tags or text which prompt you'd like your vote to count for. 

- This event welcomes ship-related content. No participant is obligated to create, interact with, or enjoy ship-related content—however, we expect all participants to be respectful and nonjudgmental of those who do.

- All submissions properly tagged will be counted in the weekly prompt competitions—however, if you would like your work reblogged here, it must abide by the following two conditions: 

No sexual and gory content over an approximate PG-13 rating. For example, we are happy to feature characters kissing or splattered with blood (the event is Halloween-themed, after all), but not explicit erotica or graphic body horror. And while you are welcome to submit NSFW fanworks to the event (provided they abide by the “do not tolerate” rules below), we require that you warn and tag accordingly, or your submission will not be counted. Pumpkins and Nimrods - cc!Karl Jacobs x gn!reader

Hi again, it’s me (if you get that reference then I love you). This is my first piece of writing in a while so hopefully it is still good even though it’ll be rusty!

It wasn’t uncommon that you and Karl spent most of the day together when you hung out. The two of you got along like you’d known each other your whole lives, when in reality it’d only been about 2 years.

Both you and Karl loved Halloween. It was a no brainer that you spent the day before together doing one of the most festive activities the holiday has to offer. Carving pumpkins.

The two of you had decided you’d carve pumpkins on a call about three days ago and you’d been brainstorming ideas ever since. Eventually after a lot of to and fro, you’d decided on a Mike Wazowski recreation. An easy enough design that would have (hopefully) minimal chances of failure while not being too traditional.

Laying in your bed the night before, your brain couldn’t help but drift to the day ahead. Although excited to carve pumpkins with one of your best friends, you were nervous because it also meant pumpkin carving with the guy you’d had a crush on for what felt like forever.

You looked at the time and saw you’d been worrying about the event for almost three hours, meaning the time was now just past 4am. You decide to close your eyes and try to fall asleep. This took some time but you eventually managed to get some sleep.

The phone resting on your bedside table was blaring your alarm, forcefully awakening you from your slumber. You quickly shut it off and sat up. You spent a couple of minutes trying to wake up and adjust to the light pouring into your room.

Checking the time you see that it’s 11:30am, giving you an hour and a half to prepare to meet Karl at his house. You scroll through TikTok for about an hour then decide to get ready.

You throw on one of your usual outfits, do your hair and your usual morning routine before grabbing your keys and heading to Karl’s house.

Once knocking on the door, Karl flings it open and quickly gives you a quick hug before gesturing for you to follow behind him. You end up in the kitchen where you see an assortment of carving tools and two almost perfect looking pumpkins.

“Let’s get a move on nimrod, we don’t have all day” the use of the word nimrod causes you to glare briefly at him before it melts due to the smile he gives you.

You and Karl situate yourselves on opposite sides of the counter ‘so you can’t take a peek at his work’. Honestly, this suited you as you were able to sneak glances at Karl while he was distracted.

The two of you spend the next 2 hours carving your pumpkins with playful banter and the occasional throwing of pumpkin insides. You step back and admire your Mike Wazowski masterpiece before turning to Karl.

“There’s no way yours is cooler than mine, Karl. Look!” You turn your pumpkin to face him while grinning proudly at your creation.

His face breaks out in a smile as he compliments your idea before clearing his throat and speaking.

“Yours might be good but mine is literally insane” he turns his to face you and your eyes widen in surprise.

Karl had carved your name surrounded by the outline of a heart. This left you floundering for something to say, Karl seemed to notice this so chose to speak first.

“I like you, a lot” he looks at you expectantly and by now you’d had a little time to fortunate a response.

“I like you too, Karl! This is crazy and totally not what I was expecting at all” the smile on your face told him all he needed to know and he was quick to embrace you again.

The next hour was spent cleaning up and discussing what to do for your first date, both of you smiling the whole time.

Queria um homem bonito, que tornasse real aquele sonho e ao encontrar Harvey na multidão ela decidiu: seria ele. Sorriu docemente, acenando como quem pedia um convite. Deu alguns passos para se aproximar, o sorriso ainda no rosto. "Estou procurando um belo cavalheiro que me convide para esta dança. Posso considerar que já encontrei ou devo procurar outro?"

hello ! it is i, angel (he/him)~ welcome to my halloween pinned post !! it will only be here for a few days —until the end of day of the dead—, but i felt it important to change my layout for the spooky season so here we are 👻

beneath the cut you can find a list of the regular tags i use in this blog, but before you proceed, there are a couple important things i should inform you about:

first, i will be partaking in @bylerween2023! this is a terrific event organised by some lovely bylers whom i adore, and it means i will be posting a few little creepy stories i've been preparing for a short while over the next couple weeks. some of them will be short fluffy prompts (tagged under 🪄 or "samhain alms"), which i shall post daily and should be enjoyable for anyone who reads them. some others, however, will be ficlets cemented in horror and gnarly themes (tagged under 🪦 or "walpurgis hexes"), so it is in your best interest to pay attention to the tags before reading. ...which brings me to my next point, which is that if you don't want to see any of my mature, chilling fics, you might want to filter out the tag "dark byler agenda". i use this tag regularly when delving into dark themes such as cannibalism, gore, murder, possessive love, murky morals and so on, so it serves as a blanket tag to block if you want to avoid such topics with ease. Top 5 autistic headcanons and top 5 aroace headcanons?

TRIPLE A LET'S GOOO!!!

Autism:

Dale Cooper (Twin Peaks): One of the most obviously autistic characters to ever grace television. The allistics just didn't get it probably because he was "too social" or whatever other slight deviation from what's stereotypical in autistic characters

Kris (Deltarune): I genuinely believe Kris is deliberately autistic-coded, mostly due to that "How to Care for a Human" book you find in the library in Chapter 2 but even beyond that all of their described behaviors are SUPER relatable to me as an autistic person (and bring me back to how I felt about it in my youth...)

Daniil Dankovsky & Various Other Characters (Pathologic): Thank you once again for showing me the light in how truly autistic Daniil is at his very core <3 Besides him though I'm also in agreement with the very code of Classic HD that Peter Stamatin and Grace are on the spectrum (tortured savant and death-obsessed weird girl rep respectively), but I would also argue that Yulia Lyuricheva is autistic as well. I mean the woman is described as someone who "sits in the corner and quietly observes others" and invented an entire philosophical theory in an attempt to explain the pattern of random events invisibly triggered by people. That's what we in the business call STEM-influenced autism :)

The Lodger (Knock-Knock): Yet another video game character that is so intensely autistic. Willingly living in isolation, simultaneously longing for and hating the presence of guests in your house, talking to yourself while pacing through the hallways & infodumping about the most niche scientific field imaginable? It's so relatable 🕯

Diane Nguyen (Bojack Horseman): This one maybe doesn't have the most "evidence" compared to the others per say, but I honestly found myself relating to a lot of Diane's personality quirks and struggles AS an autistic person (ex: hating surprises, trouble regulating her emotions/prone to emotional outbursts, having the most specific overly-convoluted Halloween costume ever). With her I think I'm more in the minority for this hc since her other mental illnesses overshadow her autistic traits, plus her's aren't nearly as obvious as Juda's (who as far as I'm concerned IS canonically autistic even if it's not outright stated by the characters)

Aroace:

Patches (Soulsborne Series): There is no fucking way this man has ANY desire for sex and romance. The only hole he's interested in are the enemy-infested ones he can kick you down! Plus I do know of that one famous line he says in Dark Souls 3 which he claims to be "devoid of all worldly wants" so this might as well be canon

Artemy Burakh (Pathologic): I don't care what the shippers think, I just love the idea of Artemy having a narrative revolving around the concept of "love" while being alienated and eventually coming to terms with how he himself doesn't experience this emotion in a socially conventional way. Besides just 'cause he's aroace in my mind doesn't mean he can't form QPR's ;)

Death of the Endless (The Sandman): ABSOLUTE AROACE ICON! She's a being who loves humanity, but keeps a reasonable distance between any individual person due to her role in taking their souls upon their death. Though instead of being all moping and "oh I can never allow myself to truly be close to those I love T_T" she's instead endlessly jovial and enjoys every second of spending time with other humans in a platonic fashion, brief as those seconds are in the grand scheme of her job. If that ain't actually positive aroace rep I don't know what is 🖤

Every Character in Hylics: All of them are aroace. They're functionally immortal clay aliens who probably don't even need to procreate in traditional means to produce new life, and besides they're more interested in prog rock than romance anyway 🌙 🎸🌯

Holden Caulfield (The Catcher in the Rye): A very personal hc for me. Reading that book was one of my earliest instances of me relating to a character for their lack of desire for sex and romance; in particular the whole story about Holden losing his best friend Jane due to her no longer valuing him as a friend and wanting a boyfriend instead, to which he couldn't find himself filling that role. It's just such a vivid portrayal of THE aroace experience of having your platonic connections become "lesser" in the eyes of society, and it really pisses me off that so many contribute this character trait of his as something "he refuses to grow out of" because no it fucking isn't! But then again most analyses of this book are godawful ableist pieces of shit so I'm not exactly surprised there's a lack of meaningful analysis on the main character being sexually deviant alongside his mental disorders
