The Ending
“Oi, Putri..”
“Yes?”
“Ya run dis place, right?”
“More or less…”
“Well! Can ya make an executive fuckin’ order ta install some cell tower, now!?” Iyabo barked, raising her phone in the air in a desperate attempt to find a signal. “Urgh! Ya gotta be kiddin’, outta all te times ta get no service-!”
“Oh! I’ll check my phone!” Fay piped up, searching her pockets, fumbling but finding nothing in the end. In her other free hand was a laptop she found in her holding cell and decided to take with her, unbeknownst to Fay, Chiaki resided inside of it. Fay began to pout, leaning over to Leigh. “Pst! I can’t find my phone, do you have one…?” She asked in a whisper.
Leigh pouted sadly. “No.. I don’t have a phone…” They sniffled.
“This is horrible! We’re gonna be stuck on this shitstain of an island forever now!” Hiyoko whines with teary eyes and an upset scowl. “A-All because you idiots can’t find a phone booth!”
“You’re welcome to search for one yourself, Hiyoko.” Aditi commented, entering the scene while still carrying an unconscious Miu in her arms.
“Audi! Jesus- what the hell happened to you guys!?” Hajime asked with genuine concern, hovering next to her like an overprotective mother hen.
“Me and the robot sat down and had a wonderful game of chess…” Aditi grumbled sarcastically, whipping some blood from the corner of her mouth. “Have you found a way to return home yet?”
“Not exactly..” Finn commented gently, realizing Iyabo was in too frazzled of a state to answer properly. He was more worried about her getting too frustrated and throwing the phone in the ocean.
Angie had her hands clasped together in prayer, humming and focusing all of her energy. “Atua, if you can hear Angie now… we are in a great time of need. Could you perhaps send us a savior of sorts? Another god? A ship? Perhaps a plane?? Both! Atua says he will give us both!” She brightens.
“Oh yea? Why don’tcha ask yer god where te fuck they are then, huh!? ‘Cause ‘m not seein’ it!” Iyabo growled at the artist, who merely shrugged in response. “Can ya take this seriously!? If we don’t get outta ‘ere, we could become fuckin’ war prisoners! Do ya want that, airhead-!?”
While everyone else was bickering, Ivy had been off to the side. One arm was wrapped around her sister, who had once again gone catatonic. The other was outstretched, with her hand holding up a faintly glowing red cube. The cube spun in the air, occasionally collapsing in on itself before reforming. Then, in a flash of red, it vanished, but not before sending out something akin to a dying message. Letting her arm fall, Ivy whispered to herself.
"...I trust in you, Paff. Bring us home…"
In that exact moment a plane flew right over their heads at incredible speeds, the noise of the engine so loud that conversing was impossible for a couple of seconds, the small plane turning around and circling over the island.
“AHOYYY!” A voice called out excitedly. From the same direction the plane came from, a small ship appeared, coming directly at them. At the top a familiar man standing.
“Is everyone alright?! We’re ‘ere ta pick ya landlubbers up!” It was Drake, waving at the group with his hooked hand, grinning widely. And he came with a whole cavalry of familiar faces, all there for the rescue mission.
Aditi and Iyabo gawked at their sudden appearance, while Putri began jumping up and down violently and waving her arms. “Here!! Heeeerreeee!! You’re here!!!” She squealed happily.
“Nyahaha! You see, Atua never disappoints!” Angie proclaimed with a big smile, pointing at the crusade here to save them.
Drake grinned, yelling back: “Of course! We’ve been lookin’ fer ya the whole time!” He turned, informing his crew: “Get ready. We’re ‘bout to dock.”
The plane stopped its high circling after finally finding a nearby spot to land, probably causing a lot of commotion but at least landing smoothly, the hatch opening and revealing a very familiar pilot, taking off his helmet and jumping out, asking: “Is everyone alright?! We should leave as fast as possible!”
The boat docked successfully and Drake made his way down the bridge, ordering: “Quick, ‘fore we be spotted. We gotta set sail quickly!”

The collar spent a moment on the floor, before it is yanked back through the opening, bringing air with it. Salient, the intended target, had completely vanished without a trace. It was as if he was never even there. With him gone, the trial would come to an unusual end. There's no one to execute. No blackened to punish. Everything just... stalled.
“..... Wot?” Iyabo blurted out, breaking the silence after staring at the spot where Salient once stood. “That’s not ‘posed ta happen, right..?” She took a step back, looking to her left and noticing that Finn was gone now as well. “Eh!? Finn? Finn..! Ya bloody sheepdog where’d ya go!?” She asked aggressively, unnerved by the quiet.
Putri stared as Fay faded away from existence in her corner while crying, blinking in surprise. “... Something is amiss.” She bit her lip, rapidly looking at the rest of the group to tell who would be next or if it would grind to a halt.
Wren was gripping at their hair, unable to process what was going on. They let out forced chuckles, not sure how to react to the current situation. Then, they too vanished.
Hiyoko watched in awe as one by one everyone disappeared. "W-What the hell is going on?!" She yelled, hugging herself as a small form of comfort. She looked around anxiously to whoever would be next. Right before her eyes, a confused Leigh vanished from sight, only making her freak out more.
Hajime was just as freaked out, his eyes darting to everyone wondering just what was happening. He hated not knowing what was going on... "What- how is this..?" He stammered, stumbling back anxiously.
Angie looked up with teary eyes, her expression one of surprise until she looked down at her fading body as well. “Ah... it is my time...” The artist clasped her hands together in prayer as she fell into oblivion.
Vanessa practically threw herself at Ivy, clinging onto her as if her life depended on it. For a moment, she could feel Ivy embracing her in return. Then, she felt herself hit the ground. “...I-Ivy...?” Looking up, she saw no trace of her sister. After taking a moment to process it all, she cried out in anguish, before her hands went to cover her sobbing face.
Miu gawks in horror as everyone disappears one by one, only to begin to feel her arms going numb themselves. She looked down and felt her heart sink. She was fading away. “N-No... no, no, no...” She repeated, stumbling forward to the nearest person, clinging onto them for dear life. This person so happened to be Hajime. “I-I don’t wanna go, I can’t go yet-! I-I’m not-! I-I-! I-I never got to-!” She sputtered out desperately with tears streaming down her face, but it was too late. Miu was gone.
Hajime stood in awe, staring wide eyed at where Miu was. He blinked back his own tears, but that's when it hit him. He knew how this was possible. The only question left was.. what await him when he too disappeared? He had a feeling about what it could be.
Ryan sighed, glancing down at himself. He was the next to fade out. “...I’m sorry, Almy.” A tear falls down his face and hits the ground as he disappears. A notebook follows suit, before that too disappears.
Aditi blinked her surprise away, looking down at her now ghostly hands. “I’ve eluded you a while..” She mumbled in reference to death itself. The only thing she did was look to Hajime and nod, as if handing over the torch for him to solve this himself. And, she faded away last.
Tumblr media
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! How am I supposed to continue now!? Help me out here, man! This wasn't supposed to-"
A gunshot interrupts Monokuma's rant. The bear slams against the back of his throne, before falling forward. A bullet hole is plain to see on his red eye.
Tumblr media
Spy stared at where Monokuma once sat, aiming a now smoking pistol at the throne. After a moment, he let his arm drop, before unloading the firearm and placing it on his podium.
"...honestly? Fuckin' hated working for the guy."

What if the knife isn't actually the weapon? What if Maisie simply hit her head and died of blunt-force trauma? And Hiyoko discovered the body, which is why she looked so panicked?
Tumblr media
“Literally all of those are proven wrong.” Wren leaned against their podium, twirling a card in their hand. “That knife was found embedded in Maisie, the case file stated clear as day that the cause of death was from stab wounds, and Fay literally just admitted to having checked Maisie’s room before breakfast. You could not be more wrong if you tried.”
Tumblr media
"Finally someone dumber than all of you!" Hiyoko said with a snort. "You all are super dumb for accusing me just because I happened to go to the kitchen last night-!"
Tumblr media
She was interrupted by Hajime, who cleared his throat loudly. "Can we stay on topic? We may have limited time." Hajime informed, looking towards the ground with a sigh before looking back up. "So Fay was the first to see the body this morning. When was the last time anyone saw her? Then we can make a rough estimate of when she was killed."
Tumblr media
“.. ‘M pretty sure I saw ‘er goin’ back ta ‘er room ‘round te time I helped Leigh find theirs.” Finn commented, looking to the doctor. “Did ya see-? Ooh, right, sorry-“ He laughed sheepishly, realizing his mistake in asking that question. “It was prolly too dark fer ya, right? Do ya ‘member te time at least? I think it was... ‘round 10?”
Tumblr media
"It's okay- don't worry." Leigh assured, even laughing slightly before they took a moment to think about the time. "Yeah.. it had to be at least 10 when he walked me back to my room."
“I was in my room for the entire night.” Ivy glanced at Vanessa, then Aditi. “I never saw Maisie, but Aditi came into my room at around 9:45. We talked for about...5 minutes, I believe.”
“Meanin’, ya don’t have an alibi at all. Neither does beanpole or yer sis. She left at 9:50, which gave ‘er an’ yous plenty of time ta go kill ‘er.” Iyabo sneered, despite the fact she had no alibi of her own.
“You’re being awfully pushy!” Angie bops her head left to right curiously at the zoologist. “Atua wonders if there’s more reasons for that, other than the murder attempt, hm?”
“Wot te fuck are you implying, cunt!? I can’t be te killer ‘member? I counted as one ‘a te peps who saw the body first!” Iyabo fired back.
“It can’t be Ivy.” Spy spoke up, fidgeting with his hands. “I didn’t see Leigh or Finn, but I was in the hallway between 9:45 and 10:00. I saw Aditi head back to her room. I did not see Ivy leave.”
“...wait.” Ivy tilted her head, crossing her arms. “...Spy, were you the one that placed that tray of food in my room the other day? And today?”
“Oh, uhh...haha, umm...” Spy rubbed the back of his head, looking away. “...yeah. I was worried when I didn’t see you at all the past few days. There’s no other source of food other than the restaurant, and I assumed you didn’t have any in your room stored away, so...I got an extra plate of food during breakfast and...well, yeah.”
"But what about after ten, genius?" Hiyoko asked mockingly. "You could've killed her at ten and the took off! No one saw you after, huh? Huh?" She asked accusingly, looking at him expectantly.
"Hiyoko- please knock it off. We don't have time for baseless accusations." Hajime said with yet another sigh. "We have to take this serious. Spy's account is helpful." He said, sending a small glare towards the smaller girl.
Hiyoko looked away with a pout, crossing her arms with a small "hmpt!"
Aditi rolled her eyes at Hiyoko’s attempt to antagonize. “We can not work off of alibis alone. Not without consideration of a motive to kill her, and...” She trailed off, clicking her claws together. “The possibility of an accomplice.”

And who got Maisie’s video?
Tumblr media
Iyabo decided to pip up at that mention, cutting through the silence. “Not me. I got Wren’s fuckin’ secret.” She glanced around. “Is knowin’ who had ‘er secret really gonna help now? Wot could it even have been? Definitely not ‘nough ta get ‘er killed, right?”
Tumblr media
“Well, that’s easy! Let’s just tell everyone what the secrets were and clear the air!” Putri suggested, looking around suspiciously. “If we all don’t have anything to hide, then it’ll go much smoother!”
Tumblr media
“Mmm... Angie can see your point! But... that seems a bit dangerous, no?” Angie tilted her head. “If all of us know each other’s secrets, some worse than others, then we’ll only have more motives to distrust each other, yes? That’s what Monokuma wants from us! Disharmony and distrust!”
Tumblr media
“.... I get it.” Finn nodded his head, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. “Maybe it’s better ta not say ‘em all? Somethings are better left unsaid, right?” He cowered back at the look Iyabo shot him.
"There's arguments to be made for both sides. If we don't know, people will start to get paranoid. If we do know, then it depends on the secret. Like Angie said, some are worse than others. Like...Spy's." Ivy put a hand on her hip, sighing in disappointment. "...I thought he would be better than that..."
Tumblr media
"Then we should just stick with who got who's. Which shouldn't be too hard! Just ask, and make a list and if we get doubles someone's lying and can be counted as a suspect!" Hiyoko said proudly, knowing her idea was a good one.
Tumblr media
“Isn’t there a slight chance the murder wasn’t related to the motive videos?” Wren’s voice wasn’t confident, like they weren’t completely believing their own idea. “I mean, it’s a slight chance, but maybe the motive videos are a red herring.”
Tumblr media
“Unless someone had a personal vendetta against Maisie, then there is no other explanation to why this happened.” Aditi sighed, glancing to the corpse again. “I don’t believe anyone here hated her... unless I’m missing some information..”
Tumblr media
"I'm sure all the guys liked her, I'll tell you that." Hiyoko said with a snicker. "So it was probably some jealous chick if the motives aren't involved."

What happened?!
Tumblr media
“Owa?? Someone has died already!?” Angie tilted her head from side to side childishly, getting glances of the body inside the room. “Oh no! The tall dancer has been sent to Atua’s kingdom! What a shame...”
Tumblr media
"Ugh, now all our lives are in danger. If we don't find who killed her, we all die except for them." Spy lets out an exasperated sigh, not exactly happy about the current situation. "...so where the fuck do we start?"
Tumblr media
Finn couldn’t look at the sight of Maisie’s body, turning away and cringing. “Usually ya get someone ta look at te body, right? Figure out te ‘cause of death an’ other... stuff?” He asked unsurely. “Is anyone a doctor ‘ere?”
Tumblr media
"Oh, we need a doctor?" Leigh asked, poking their head through the door. They bounced a little bit, happy to be able to assist. Until they saw Aditi, or at least her figure blocking the body. "Um.. if I could.." They added sheepishly, hoping the taller girl wouldn't be upset at their attempt to help.
Tumblr media
“Just go, you blind bat! We need your knowledge now, and only now!” Putri barked angrily, shoving Leigh forward towards the body, despite being much shorter.
Tumblr media
They stumbled forwards, trying not to trip over their own feet and ended up right behind the object of their nervousness. Gulping, they went around Aditi, praying she would pay them no mind, as they knelt next to the body to start the autopsy.
Tumblr media
Unluckily, Aditi glanced up immediately when something moved in her sight. As Leigh knelt down beside the body, she glared harshly, her eyes ablaze. After a moment of silence, she closed her eyes and sighed. “... Be quick. Don’t try anything funny. Understand?” She growled out to Leigh, begrudgingly.
Tumblr media
Leigh looked towards Aditi's voice and nodded quickly, mumbling how they didn't know how fast it would be. They almost hoped she didn't hear it, however. With confidence, they started touching the blood and probing at some of her limbs, looking for information without their sight.

Tumblr media
Finn trudged along with Hiyoko on his back for awhile, not minding in the slightest. The small dancer hardly weighed anything on his shoulders, and this was sort of a comfort for him. It reminded him of home, of when his baby sisters would ask to be carried around the shore on his shoulders. “See anythin’ yet, Hiyoko?” He asked curiously, now that they had made their way to the other side of the island.
Tumblr media
For a moment she remained silent, squinting as she continued looking. In all honesty, at first she didn't care to remember a thing about this dude. Now that he was a potential threat, she felt she could point him out in a crowd anywhere. Suddenly, she perked up. "There!" She shouted, pointing at Ryan. "Get 'em! Don't even let him have the chance to fight back!"
Tumblr media
Ryan, meanwhile, had been sitting out on the shore alone, writing in a notebook. He wasn’t expecting anyone to be out here, let alone anyone looking for him specifically. As such, he wasn’t paying attention, and didn’t notice Hiyoko or Finn.
Hiyoko quickly made her way off Finn's shoulder, quickly marching to Ryan with a snarl. She seemed a lot like a wild animal about to pounce on its prey as she approached him, except her prey was almost literally twice her size. "Hey shitbrain! Don't try to act all cool and mysterious out here by yourself." She huffed, crossing her arms. "I know what you did. You're not getting off the hook that easily!"
“Uh...” Finn tried to reach out to Hiyoko and stop her from being brash, but to no avail. He walked up to join the pair, smiling sheepishly. “‘Yoko, that’s not how ya start off a conversation, y’know? ‘Ere lemme try.” He suggested, looking back to Ryan. “Sorry ‘bout ‘er. She’s just a lil’ bent outta shape, since she watched yer secret video.” He admitted freely, try to drop that bombshell before Hiyoko had the chance to do it less gracefully.
Ryan simply sighed, flipping the notebook closed and placing it down on the ground. “...did she now? Talk about bad luck.” Twirling the pencil around his fingers, he looked up at Finn, ignoring Hiyoko for the time being. “I get the feeling I know what the bear has on me. It’s probably about my last assignment. The one I screwed up.”
Pouting, Hiyoko stomped her foot at being ignored. "You killed your boss and partner for no reason!" She said, leaving out quite a big detail. Either she was purposely leaving it out, or just didn't seem to care about that detail. "So to save the sane people from you, we're gonna tie you up and leave you in a ditch somewhere until we find a way to leave!" She said with certainty, a devious smile making its way to her face.
Finn sighed at the smaller girl’s interjection, head turning to the side. He didn’t want to do this, certainly not. But, of course, the needs of the many outweighed the needs of the few. Even so... he couldn’t do this without asking one question. “... Why? Why did ya do it? There’s gotta be a reason behind it, right? Ya can’t just... be a murderer..?” He asked, voice softer than usual.
“I had to. They told me to do it.” Ryan turned his gaze towards the ocean. “...our exfil was ambushed. We were tasked with getting crucial intel on a mercenary group that took out a supply ship, to find out what their next target was. Everything went smoothly. The mercenaries were planning on going after an oil tanker, to use it as a Trojan horse. Wanted to blow up a major port in the U.S. We managed to get the information to HQ, but the ambush had us pinned out in the field. Nearly fought our way out, but one of the mercenaries managed to incapacitate both my superior and my partner. I managed to kill him, but I could hear more on the way. Both didn’t want to be captured, and there was no time to patch them both up in time. So...they told me to shoot them, before the others got there. So I did. Then...I just ran. Managed to get away without a scratch, somehow.”
“... Oooh... that uh... shit-“ Finn huffed out his breath. He suddenly felt guilty for even agreeing to Hiyoko’s plot without having all of the details. “‘M sorry man... that sounds awful. Hiyoko didn’t know that part ‘m sure of it..” He reassured Ryan, looking to the dancer for her confirmation on his theory. He instantly believed the best in others, and Hiyoko wasn’t an exception.
She pouted once more, her first instinct to not believe his little sob story. It just seemed too convenient to her that he got out without a scratch. He could've saved at least one of them. "Yeah right! If you were able to get away so easy you could've taken one of them at least! I bet you're a dirty little liar too! You shot them to hide details about your fuck up and got out of there, didn't you? You're scum of the Earth! You don't even deserve to be the gunk on the bottom of my shoe!"
“More men were already on the way. I could hear their footsteps. If I tried to help them, then we would all have either been dead or captured. They were willing to sacrifice themselves just so I could get away. They’re better men than I am, I know that.” Ryan’s gaze fell to the ground, the halo floating above his head starting to lose structure. “I just...I wish there was more time. I could’ve saved them. I just needed more time.” A sigh. “And...honestly? I probably should’ve died there. I don’t know how I escaped. I was constantly getting shot at. Bullets kept flying past me. How none of them hit...well, I think it was a miracle.”
Finn couldn’t really bring himself to keep questioning Ryan after that revelation. He couldn’t imagine being stuck in a spot like that. Even after being stuck in the cult, betraying his friend, and knowing someone here knew another secret of his, he couldn’t kick someone while they were down. “... C’mon, Yoko. He’s torn up ‘bout it. I don’t think he’ll be a threat at all.” He reasoned with the dancer.
With a small huff, Hiyoko glared up at Finn and then back towards Ryan. Clearly she had lost. Finn wouldn't help her restrain this guy as long as he pitied him. Yet she wouldn't fall for his sob story. She'd have to keep a close eye on him. "I'll be watching you. Don't think you got away that easily." She threatened before turning around and quickly walking away.

Hey hiyoko, ryan also threatened to set someone on fire in another killing game! :) unfortunately that game never got past the first motive.
Tumblr media
"Are- are you serious?!" She asked, her image of him quickly worsening. Now she saw him as a larger threat, someone who needed to be locked up before they could do anything stupid. "Finn, did you hear that? Hurry your lard ass up!"
Tumblr media
“... Ya realize Pewts does te same thing, right?” He asked Hiyoko without a hint of cynicism, chuckling a little under his breath. He wasn’t nearly as pressed as her to lock someone away for a few mistakes. “Do ya really think he’s te most dangerous outta everyone ‘ere?” He asked curiously.
Tumblr media
"Well I know her and she's better than that loser." She said confidently, as if that statement didn't expose her bias for Putri. "I trust her not to kill someone, besides I can talk her out of it. But he might be a psycho freak who won't listen, duh!" She explained, crossing her arms. "So are you gonna keep complaining or are you gonna help?"
Tumblr media
“‘M comin’, ‘m comin’, I just... y’know I don’t want it ta come ta violence so soon. There’s gotta be somethin’ we’re missin’. Nobody just.. kills someone without reason.” Finn huffed, before leaning down and simply picking Hiyoko up and placing her on his shoulders so they could walk together. “‘Ere, tell me when ya see ‘im first.” He smiles.
At first it made Hiyoko feel childish to be lifted up and put on his shoulders, but quickly felt triumphant at being 'tall' and having people look up to her. Maybe Finn was even more useful than just following her orders. "I'll spot that shit for brains fast! No way he can hide forever." She said, putting one hand on his head to prop herself forward, pointing ahead. "Now get a move on!"

Wait, Hiyoko, who?! Who's video was it?!
Tumblr media
"His name doesn't even deserve to come out of my mouth! It would be dirty to even say it and I'd have to wash my mouth with soap for at least fourteen hours!" She yelled, continuing to walk until she found someone- anyone- to spread this information to. Until she spotted someone in the distance, quickly running to them. "Hey! Hey you!" She shouted to get whoevers attention.
Tumblr media
Finn was wandering about, seemingly looking for someone too, but he was quick to get distracted by Hiyoko approaching. “Oi, wot’s up, Hiyoko?” He asked, completely at ease and unbothered by her apparent rage.
Tumblr media
Finn happened to be the perfect person for her to stumble upon. He was stronger than just about everyone here. He could easily overpower that muderous freak. "I need you to do a favor for me. One of the guys here is a crazy murder and you're gonna tie him up for me! Got it?" She ordered, pouting up at him.
Tumblr media
“Oh? We’re tyin’ someone up? I think ‘lot of people ‘ear killed someone though..” He tilts his head to the side, counting on his fingers. “Yea, I’ll help ya. So long as ya fill me in on all te details. That sound fair? Who are we tryin’ ta find? An’ uh... how’d they kill someone?”
Tumblr media
"Well- this is different!" She protested with a huff. "It's that loser with the lame name- Ryan! He killed his boss and his partner coz he screwed up some mission! He'll backstab the idiots who get close to him!"
Tumblr media
Finn frowned, taking Hiyoko’s claim seriously of course. He wanted everyone to be safe from harm, but he wasn’t unreasonable or completely apathetic either. “... Yea. Sounds bad. Why don’t we go see ‘im tagether then? If he don’t explain himself, then we’ll go with yer plan.” He offered with a smile.

Hey Finn, what does yours look like?
Tumblr media
“Looks like a video, ‘non.” That’s so helpful. Finn had finished up watching his secret video, and gently set the tablet down. He hummed, tilting his head to the side. “Hm...” He shrugged his shoulders. “I dunno how real that one is. She don’t seem like a violent type. Maybe it was... an accident?” He offered, more so talking to himself than anyone else.

Iyabo huffed, stretching her arms up in the air and yawning, before unlocking her hotel room. She peered inside. It was... actually really nice. The bed looked comfortable, her own bathroom and shower, closet full of clothes, hers even came with a pet bed and area for Gasper. This was a lot more than she was used to having. Before she could enter, the zoologist heard footsteps. “Uh, Yabs?” She turned around to see her oldest friend.
Tumblr media
“.... Hey.” Iyabo greeted awkwardly, looking up at Finn with a curious expression. “Wotcha want, Sheepdog?” She asked.
Tumblr media
“Ta check on ya. That’s all. Today was... a lot.” Finn admitted, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.
“Yer tellin’ me..” Iyabo grumbled, looking off to the side and toying with her braid. She couldn’t help but feel nervous around this area, wanting nothing more than to escape this game and run away as fast as possible. “‘M fine though, ‘aight? Really. Ya should get some sleep..”
“Ya don’t look fine.” Finn commented, stopping the door from closing with his foot. “Ya look pale. Are ya sure yer not scared...?” He asked gently.
“Scared?” Iyabo asked, sounding offended by the very idea. “I’m not fuckin’ scared, wot do I have ta be scared of? I-I’ll be fine. Nobody’s gonna break in ‘ere an’ kill me in my sleep. They don’t got a reason ta. It’s...” She trailed off, huffing.
“... It’s alright ta be scared, Yabs. I just, uh...” Finn trailed off too but only for a moment. “Everyone else is doublin’ up fer te night an’ I thought it might make ya feel better if I stayed witcha?” He offered.
“Stayed with me?” Iyabo questioned, looking a tad distressed by the thought, her face getting slightly red. She pondered over her options, and the silence between them hung in the air.
Finn sighed. “I understand if it’s too soon, an’ ya need more space. Ya can tell me ta go away, I won’t take it ta heart. I know-“
“Shut up! Sh-Shut up an’ lemme talk, would ya?” Iyabo cut him off and tapped her foot anxiously. “... If ya hog te bed ‘m kickin’ ya ta te floor, get it? Don’t just stand there in te doorway, c’mon!” She ushered him into her room aggressively. “Don’t get excited, it’s just a one time thing, ‘aight?”
“... Thanks, Iyabo.” Finn smiled, genuinely down at her.
“Yer... uh... yer welcome. I-I guess...”

“Hiyoko!” Putri yelled loudly from afar, running over to the tall shirtless boy and her dear... friend? What exact were they now? That doesn’t matter, she’s here! “You’re heeerrreee...!” She whined, hugging the other short kimono wearing girl.
Tumblr media
Aditi watched, nudging Hajime to follow her towards the other two. “That makes... five of us, so far.” Shs muses aloud, wondering if there were any others around. This island seemed fairly large, there could easily be more than them here. “Finn is here. That leaves Fay and Iyabo the only ones we are missing among our group..”
Tumblr media
Hiyoko was suprised at the sudden hug, but once she saw who it was giving it the fight seemed to leave her body, reciprocating it. "Unfortunately! I'm gonna get sand all over my kimono." She complaimed with a pout. Looking up however, she was greeted with Aditi and Hajime. "So you didn't kick the bucket?" She asked, giving Putri a little squeeze before pulling away from her embrace.
“Fortunately. I’ll presume you see that as a good outcome.” Aditi nodded to Hiyoko, not wanting her to get distracted by her bullying and decided to question her right away. “Do you remember how you got here? Does.. anyone?” She asked.
Finn shook his head. “Nah. Think I opened my eyes fer a few minutes and just felt somethin’ cold, but I got knocked out a sec later. My uh.... arm feels sore?” He offered, holding out his arm to them. There was a red dot in the center, an obvious sign of a needle injection. “Wot’s it mean? Do I got chickenpox?”
"Yeah! If you don't get the cure you'll die in two days." Hiyoko teased with a smirk, covering half of her face with her sleeve. "But now that you mention it, I don't remember much at all." She said, before her face quickly switching to confusion. "Are you saying you dumbasses don't remember either?! Someone's gotta remember something!"
In an attempt to ease his mind, Hajime joined the conversation as well; knowing he was safe considering he knew everyone around him. "You're right.. it really doesn't make sense how no one remembers. If there's more people here at least one of them should have a clue.."
Putri giggled alongside Hiyoko at her teasing Finn, the surfer actually laughing along with them. Aditi shot them and annoyed look for not being serious, but was interrupted by a voice.
One she would’ve rather not hear again.
“Ya-ha! Over here!” Angie bounded over to the group without a care, smiling as bright as the sun. Leigh and Salient lagged slightly behind her, but the artist didn’t seem to mind. “Atua has heard your prayers for clues, and come with an answer!”

Oh no. This really is not good at all :/ Have you four found anyone else yet? And how are you gonna do your searching, Aditi?
Tumblr media
“As anyone else would. I say we walk the shoreline. If there are more of us here, then they could likely be looking for a boat. Someway to escape.” Aditi mused, taking the lead in front of Hajime and Putri. Her green eyes scanned the beach, looking for a sign of life.
Tumblr media
Putri held up her Kimono as they walked, trying to keep the sand off of it. She looked to Hajime, snorting. “What’s wrong with you, suitor? Have you never been on a beach before? Scared of the ocean? Stop looking so pale!” She batted at his arm to get his full attention.

He seemed jumpy at the small bat to his arm, looking down at Putri nervously. He didn't know how exactly to tell her his suspicions in a way that wouldn't cause panic. So, he decided it would be best to downplay it a little. "Well... since we've all been taken here with no idea what happened, I get the feeling something bad is going to happe-"
Tumblr media
He was cut off by the sound of yelling from what appeared to be a young girl, yelling at someone much taller than herself. Either she was brave or knew nothing bad would happen to her. Either way, she bickered at the person standing before her. "The least you can do is wear some rags! It's immodest to be walking around without a shirt!"
Tumblr media
“I don’t think rags would look very good on me. I dunno if te kidnappers packed shirts an’ stuff fer us either.” The taller boy didn’t seem deterred by Hiyoko’s scolding, only smiling down at her. “Anyway, do ya wanna help me find-? Oh!” He looked over and spotted the other four, smiling and waving. “Over ‘ere!”
