Miu swore she could still feel the tears stain her cheeks when reality washed over her once more. Everything was still dark. Was she dead? She really died, didnât she? Shit. How could she help the world now? Itâs all over. She died sobbing and begging for her life, how fucking embarrassing. Oh god, she hugged that war criminal too. Fuck. Where even am I? Her hands flew up to her head, feeling a helmet of some kind, which must be whatâs blocking her from seeing. Growling, the inventor threw the device to the side angrily. âWhat the fuck...?â
Miu didnât waste a second, standing up on wobbling legs and stumbling towards towards the door to the room which held her prisoner. She shoved it open more aggressively than needed, spotting familiar faces. âHey-! H-Hold on, you fucksticks-! Where the hell are we!?â She ran over in a hurry, huffing for air desperately.
When the door slammed open, Wren let out a sharp shriek, literally jumping back in fear. She took a moment to process what happened, then let out a huge sigh of relief, leaning against a nearby wall to catch her breath.
Ivy was at a corner of the room, holding Vanessa close as she ran a hand through the otherâs hair. When Miu came in, she glanced up, a blank expression on her face. â...I do not know, Miu. It is almost certain we are in another country, though.â
Hajime, confused and looking like he just took a ten year nap, stumbled out of his room as well, his dead eyes brightening upon seeing everyone in good health. He ran over in a huff, âIs.. everyone okay? Where are we..?â He glanced around with a furrowed eyebrow, clearly confused.
Soon, everyone emerged from their holding cells, equally as confused and jarred from the scenery. Angie crowded around her two friends, one hand around each of their arms and tears in her eyes, clearly relieved to see them once again. Leigh reciprocated the affection wholeheartedly, as did Salient. Iyabo looked over to a window, Finn following behind to watch her back. Opening a window, she was greeted with the sight of an island with many people wandering around either in a panic or confused. â... Fuck. I dunno where te hell we are!â
Finn chimed in with a tilted head curiously. âLooks like an island ta me, Yabs.â
âNo fuckinâ shit, Sherlock! Thanks fer te deduction, couldnât of done it without ya!â Iyabo barked, pushing past her friend and returning to the group. âThis is bad. We gotta find a way outta âere, get some kind âa boat er.. Somethinâ! Do any of ya fly planes or sail boats? Teleport!?â She asked desperately.
âWe can figure that out later, Iyabo.â Spy got up from his sitting position near the back wall, hands in his pockets. âFor now, we should probably get out of here, first. Itâs safe to assume Ivory knows weâre out. We need to get somewhere safe before pondering escape routes." He then walks past her, taking out a pistol. "Besides, I have some business with Ivory." It isn't long before he's out of sight.
âAre you out of yer mind, four eyes!? Oi! Wait a minute-!â Iyabo tried desperately to get Spyâs attention but he was gone, she growled and tugged on her braid. âFine, wotever. Heâll meet up with us, but first we gotta-!â The zoologist flattened when she turned around to see Hiyoko and Miu running off in separate directions.
âWait for me, pig shit! I wanna give that worm a piece of my mind!â Hiyoko screamed after Spy, the click of her shoes echoing.
âPixel! P-Pixel! Where are you-!?â Miu screeches like a banshee, rapidly opening doors and searching for her missing robot. She couldnât leave without her. She couldnât.
âOh, come on-!â She snarled, turning and noticing Hajime was turning to go after Hiyoko and Spy. âNot yous too! I thought ya had half a brain at least!?â
â.. Someone has to look out for them. Iâm not done with him either.â Hajime proclaimed, trying to offer some reassurance. âDonât worry, you focus on getting out of here, weâll meet back up later. Promise.â Before he too hightailed it to catch up with the others.
The zoologist ran her fingers through her hair in agony, being drawn back to reality by Fay touching her arm. âItâs okay, they know what theyâre doing. We gotta do our part to make it all work!â She encouraged her friend.
Biting her lip, Iyabo nodded before motioning with her hand for the remaining cast to follow. âCâmon. Letâs blow this popsicle stand.â
Ivy glanced around at the remaining people, before taking Vanessa into a bridal carry and following Iyabo. As she made her way out the door, one could see Vanessaâs hand wrap around Ivyâs chest.
Ryan is the next to leave, reaching into his jacket and pulling out his mask. Wren follows suit, glancing back at everyone as she goes through the doorway and rounds the corner.
Salient, noticing nearly everyone else having left, called out to the two other parts of the trio. âWe should probably follow them. No point sticking around now.â

What if the knife isn't actually the weapon? What if Maisie simply hit her head and died of blunt-force trauma? And Hiyoko discovered the body, which is why she looked so panicked?
âLiterally all of those are proven wrong.â Wren leaned against their podium, twirling a card in their hand. âThat knife was found embedded in Maisie, the case file stated clear as day that the cause of death was from stab wounds, and Fay literally just admitted to having checked Maisieâs room before breakfast. You could not be more wrong if you tried.â
"Finally someone dumber than all of you!" Hiyoko said with a snort. "You all are super dumb for accusing me just because I happened to go to the kitchen last night-!"
She was interrupted by Hajime, who cleared his throat loudly. "Can we stay on topic? We may have limited time." Hajime informed, looking towards the ground with a sigh before looking back up. "So Fay was the first to see the body this morning. When was the last time anyone saw her? Then we can make a rough estimate of when she was killed."
â.. âM pretty sure I saw âer goinâ back ta âer room âround te time I helped Leigh find theirs.â Finn commented, looking to the doctor. âDid ya see-? Ooh, right, sorry-â He laughed sheepishly, realizing his mistake in asking that question. âIt was prolly too dark fer ya, right? Do ya âmember te time at least? I think it was... âround 10?â
"It's okay- don't worry." Leigh assured, even laughing slightly before they took a moment to think about the time. "Yeah.. it had to be at least 10 when he walked me back to my room."
âI was in my room for the entire night.â Ivy glanced at Vanessa, then Aditi. âI never saw Maisie, but Aditi came into my room at around 9:45. We talked for about...5 minutes, I believe.â
âMeaninâ, ya donât have an alibi at all. Neither does beanpole or yer sis. She left at 9:50, which gave âer anâ yous plenty of time ta go kill âer.â Iyabo sneered, despite the fact she had no alibi of her own.
âYouâre being awfully pushy!â Angie bops her head left to right curiously at the zoologist. âAtua wonders if thereâs more reasons for that, other than the murder attempt, hm?â
âWot te fuck are you implying, cunt!? I canât be te killer âmember? I counted as one âa te peps who saw the body first!â Iyabo fired back.
âIt canât be Ivy.â Spy spoke up, fidgeting with his hands. âI didnât see Leigh or Finn, but I was in the hallway between 9:45 and 10:00. I saw Aditi head back to her room. I did not see Ivy leave.â
â...wait.â Ivy tilted her head, crossing her arms. â...Spy, were you the one that placed that tray of food in my room the other day? And today?â
âOh, uhh...haha, umm...â Spy rubbed the back of his head, looking away. â...yeah. I was worried when I didnât see you at all the past few days. Thereâs no other source of food other than the restaurant, and I assumed you didnât have any in your room stored away, so...I got an extra plate of food during breakfast and...well, yeah.â
"But what about after ten, genius?" Hiyoko asked mockingly. "You could've killed her at ten and the took off! No one saw you after, huh? Huh?" She asked accusingly, looking at him expectantly.
"Hiyoko- please knock it off. We don't have time for baseless accusations." Hajime said with yet another sigh. "We have to take this serious. Spy's account is helpful." He said, sending a small glare towards the smaller girl.
Hiyoko looked away with a pout, crossing her arms with a small "hmpt!"
Aditi rolled her eyes at Hiyokoâs attempt to antagonize. âWe can not work off of alibis alone. Not without consideration of a motive to kill her, and...â She trailed off, clicking her claws together. âThe possibility of an accomplice.â

Are there any additional wounds aside from the stab to the stomach? Or does the file not say?
"I'm finished!" Leigh announced as they stood, loud enough so that everyone could hear the new information. "She died sometime last night. The room was too cold so I can't tell the exact time, but it was definitely last night." Leigh informed happily. "Also, she has a broken ankle and signs of head trauma!"
âOkay, okay...â Putri gawked at the body, walking up and looking over the splatters of blood. âSo! It happened during the night time! Meaning... we all need to state where we were during that time frame exactly!â Putri states happily. âEasy! I was asleep in my room, obviously!â
âAha! Thatâs the trick, you see?â Angie butted in, just as cheery as ever. âYou see... we canât believe you unless you have somebody to prove you were sleeping! An alibi! If nobody saw you sleeping, Iâm afraid your fate is left to Atua! Nyahaha!!â
âMe and Vanessa were in my room. I had Aditi come over for something, she can attest to it.â Ivy looked over at Aditi, putting a finger over her mouth. It was a clear message. Donât talk about it.
âI saw Hiyoko head into the kitchen last night while I was practicing in the lobby. She seemed to be in a hurry.â Wren was leaning against the wall, brushing some of their hair aside. âNot sure if she noticed me, but I doubt that really matters. I donât think itâs her.â
Leigh tapped their chin in thought, remembering what they did last night. "Well, Finn helped me to my room last night so he can confirm I actually did go to my room! I suppose that would be mine." They smiled, happy that they could safely be declared innocent. "Should we go ask everyone else?"
âOwa?? One moment!â Angie cuts in, teetering in place. She looks to Wren. âYou said Hiyoko went to the kitchen last night? Funny, funny! Considering the murder weapon is a kitchen knife?â

Iyabo got impatient and shoved Wrenâs door open. âUh hey? Ya âere? Um, shelia?â She asked hesitantly.
âAh-!â Wren was completely caught off-guard, jumping back in shock. âO-oh, hi Iyabo. You couldâve just waited for me to open the door.â
âUh, sorry-! Just got a lilâ impatient..â She held her hands up defenselessly, looking Wren over. There wasnât anything threatening in their room from what she saw, so she should be in the clear. âSo... whoâd ya get?â She nodded to the tablet.
âOh, uhh...Hiyoko. Turns out Iâm not the only celebrity around here.â Wren put their hands in their pockets, leaning against the wall. âWhoâd you get?â
â....â Iyabo rubbed her arm awkwardly, sighing aloud before continuing. âYou. I got you.â She admitted, cringing with a worried expression. âI just- I... I dunno-!â She grew frustrated her her lack of words already, feeling at a loss. âI didnât want ta just ignore it! I canât ignore that, âs awful, âm... sorry. I-I dunno wot I wouldâve done if I lost one a my brothers...â She huffed, looking away from Wren to avoid eye contact.
Wrenâs expression immediately turned somber. â...you...â They sigh. â...of course. Of course itâs that. Of course itâs him. It always has to be him. I...â They trailed off, going over to their bed and sitting on it. Staring at the floor.
â... âm sorry..â Iyabo grit her teeth, angry that her plan resulted in this reaction. âIt just... didnât feel right ta not letcha know that I knew âbout it, yâknow? It was yer secret ta tell anâ now itâs ruined.â She tried her hardest to think of someway to turn it around. â.. I donât think any less of ya fer it. Weâve all got dead people.â She tried to reassure.
"...it's fine. I...knew I'd have to talk about it someday." Wren goes silent for a moment, then lets out a pained chuckle. "...four years. Trey's been dead...for four years. I can still remember the knife in his chest, the blood dripping from his mouth. He...he was my driving force. I never would've gotten my talent without him. He...was my world. And my parents didn't even bother giving him a proper funeral.â
âThatâs.... thatâs fuckinâ ridiculous..â Iyabo huffed, walking over and taking a seat next to Wren. She felt helpless in this situation, but tried to rack her brain for ideas. â... hey, uh... I know itâs been four years anâ all but... we could, after we get out, that is-â She fumbled with her words, rubbing her neck sheepishly. âWe could.. make âim a burial ground, with a tombstone anâ shit. I do it fer my animals a lot. That way yaâll always have a place ta go, when ya think of âim... yâknow?â She looked to the side, her hand reaching out and resting atop Wrenâs, despite the lack of eye contact.
âHeâs already buried. I visit his âgraveâ every few months. Itâs...minimalistic, I suppose. Iâm the only one who knows where it is. My parents just had him buried in some random, tucked away corner of the cemetery. Didnât even bother remembering the location. They donât visit. N-never did.â Wren started to choke up. âEven after all he did for me. All t-the work he put in. They knew what he meant to me. I h-had to watch t-the life fade from his eyes, and they didnât even m-mark his fucking grave!â
Wren buries their face in their hands, on the verge of tears. â...I shouldâve done more. I couldâve done more. I couldâve done something. I just didnât see it at the time...â
âAy! S-Stop that shit!â She looked back over, horrified that her attempt didnât work at first, only to look angry for a moment. It seemed as though she might yell at Wren, but instead she grabbed their collar and pulled them down into a hug. It was too tight, bone crushing, Iyaboâs body was tense and unable to relax, and her hands were balled up in the fabric of the otherâs shirt to keep them from pulling away. Yet, it was full of effort and clearly out of her comfort zone, but she did it anyways. For Wren alone. âI know.. I know itâs hard, anâ I know it doesnât get easier without someone there for ya, but, he... wouldnât want ya ta be this miserable. Itâs alright... uh weâve got ya, âaight?â
Wren didnât respond. At least, not verbally. They buried their face into Iyaboâs shoulder, crying their eyes out. Safe to say, Iyabo would probably have to stay for a while...

đđđ Wren?
â...oh, I never wouldâve guessed. I guess me and her have more in common than I thought. Huh. Maybe we could get along.â Wren put the tablet down on their bed. âHey, do you know where-â
Wren is cut off by a knock on their door. âOh, coming!â

âGood morning, everyone!â Angie cheers as everyone enters the cantinaïżŒ. The artist was an early riser and morning person to nobodiesâ surprise, leading her to be the first to arrive this morning. âHow did ya sleep? I hope so, I do! Look at this! Monokuma is very generous with his selections for food this time around.â She chides pointing to all the food.
â... Look, I ainât eatinâ anythinâ that freaky bear gives us. Iâd rather go fish anâ survive off that.â Iyabo sneers at the food displayed for all of them. Sure, it looked good, but was it worth getting poisoned?
Wren, meanwhile, had already gotten halfway through a plate of food. âThe foodâs fine! And itâs really good!â
âI doubt Monokuma would poison the food. If he wanted us dead, he probably wouldâve just killed us when we were all outside yesterday.â Ryan was studying the food. âPlus, I assume he wants us to kill each other. He wouldnât directly harm us, unless we break the rules he set.â
Leigh had found their way around after hearing so many voices in one place, cocking their head to the side as they entered. "Poison?" They asked. "Did someone die already?"
âAre you deaf too, Dr. Fuckwit? Nobody kicked the bucket yet! Letâs keep it that way too, alright!?â Miu snarled, aiming to open her mouth to sass some more, but was cut off by the television screens outside flickering to life. âGod damn it-â
âPuhuhuhu! Sorry to ruin the moment, but I think itâs time we get this killing game underway! I hope you all got settled in, because things are about to be shaken up!â
âTo be honest, Iâve fallen behind schedule. You see, Iâve been spending the past week combing through everyoneâs pasts, trying to dig up some juicy secrets! It was...a lot harder than I thought.â
âBut that doesnât matter anymore! What matters is: I have carefully selected one secret from each of you to use as a motive! But not your motive, no. That would be boring. No, the secret I chose for each of you will be randomly given to one of your fellow contestants! Thatâs right, each of you will get someone elseâs secret!â
âAs for what you do with that information, that is all up to you! Iâve already sent video players to all of your rooms. Each of them contain the secret you were assigned to get. So, when youâre ready, just head on up and see what your friends are hiding from you!â
âAh-hahahahahaha!â As the laugh fades out, the TVs shut off.

"Moyasu, it's getting all static-y!"
"Alright, alright. I'm working on it."
There are some clanging noises.
"Anyway, who's with you, Aditi-San? Who's the person with the cards?"
âOh, Iâm Wren. Ultimate Cardist. Also a childhood friend of Nick.â
âTenko.â Aditi cut in, practically pushing her way between the communicator and Wren. Her voice was low. âWhere is Maki?â She asked, bluntly changing the topic, her eyebrows knit into a glare.

"Oh, is this Aditi? Hey, I-"
"ADITI-SAN!"
Oh no... Looks like Tenko has joined her. Wren is in for a show...
- Moyasu and Tenko
Aditi flinched at the yelled and her irritation only grew when she recognized the voice. Of course she would be one of the first to contact her and try to find them. â... Hello, Tenko. Iâm impressed how you found this connection. Though it likey wasnât your doing. You realize contacting us is dangerous, donât you?â She repeated, directing it at Tenko now. She didnât want anyone else getting sucked into this situation. Even if it was Tenko, who was only barely qualifying for her friend at the moment.
Wren, meanwhile, had gotten themselves back on their feet, tilting their head at the strange voice. âWhoâs Tenko?â

- Moyasu
(Mod note: Wren is so CUTE oh my god-)
âOh, morning! Putri went to go get breakfast. Angieâs out on the beach. I think sheâs praying at the moment.â Wren was busy practicing in the lobby again.

- Moyasu
âOh, Aditi? Yeah, sheâs here. I think sheâs in her room right now. It is pretty late, after all. Youâll probably have to wait until morning, sorry.â
Wren threw out a card, which would end up curving right back towards them, then caught it with their other hand.
âI donât feel tired right now, so Iâm just practicing.â

Wait... Maisie?! Like... The woman who is friends with Fay? She's on this island, you know...
âStarlightâs here?â Maisie tilted her head, giggling with happiness all of a sudden. She stood up from the bar, sliding her already empty glass to the side. âI never thought Iâd see her again after the accident... Sheâs doing good, yeah? Oh, donât answer that, Iâll go find out myself, no worries.â The tall girl strutted outside past the two keeping her company without a second thought.
After a few moments, the other two would notice Maisie's absence.
"...hey, where'd she go? She was just here a minute ago."
Wren shrugged. "Probably went outside. We should do the same. No point staying here, right?"
Ryan nodded. "Agreed." He then made his way out of the restaurant, with Wren following suit. They brought the new glass of orange juice they got with them as they walked out, leaving behind a now finished plate.

ayo??? killing game time??? :0c
âEh? A killing game? Whatâs that?â Wren was sitting down at a table at a buffet restaurant of some kind. They had a plate of food in front of them; broccoli beef with a bowl of egg drop soup next to it, along with a glass of what looks to be orange juice.
âRelax, babe.â Came a soothing voice from behind the bar of the restaurant. A hand reached out and took the glass of orange juice, ïżŒpopping open a bottle of champagne and mixing the two liquids together. She stirred while squeaking. âTheyâre just talkinâ âbout a game. A game never killed no one.â She raised the glass, sipping out of it. âWant one? Mamosas go good with anything.âïżŒ
âNo thanks. Iâm not legally allowed to have alcohol.â Wren got up and went to get another beverage, leaving the plate on the table. They walked past someone who was examining the buffet line.
â...why does this place not have pizza? Thatâs like, the most universal food item in the world.â
