I see a lot of posts about Danny seeing Jason and immediately thinking he’s a baby ghost and wanting to adopt him but what if it’s the other way around?

What if Jason sees Danny and is hit with oh my god that’s a baby, who left a baby unattended out on the street?? He needs help, gotta protect him, mine, yeah he’s mine now, I got u lil guy don’t worry

Meanwhile 15 yr old Danny is like um hi?? And promptly gets kidnapped. But he just lets it happen because he’s actually feeling the safest he’s ever felt in his life with this guy, and Danny’s core immediately recognizes Jason as parental figure and just relaxes Danny 100%

Jasons feeling like Danny is a helpless baby while Danny feels safe, protect, calm, safe, relax, and he just lets Jason take him home. Neither are really sure why or what is going on with them but they’re not gonna stop it.

I think it’s because Danny’s own parents kinda suck and any other ghost that he’s interacted with he’s had to fight in some capacity or has been spooked by them. Jason’s the only one who 1) wanted to parent him and 2) has good vibes. Danny’s usually waiting for fights to happen and he’s very stressed. Jason calms him down so much he probably falls asleep before they even get to Jason’s apartment, full trust that Jason will take care of him.

Meanwhile Jason never really connects with his pit side, but really wants to find some way to have a truce. Cue Danny, and both Jason and the Pit turn to protectiveness and so the rage becomes more protection and Jason yk, might be kinda lonely and wanting something to take care of. He was probably thinking about getting a cat and not a kid but he’s not complaining

GHOULS WANTING UPPIES! Imagine Mountain carrying Phantom or Phantom one day being brave enough to ask Copia for uppies 🥹🥹🥹🥺

Touring is tiring. Everyone knows that. Except Phantom. He’s just learning. He’s exhausted and sometimes he just like to be held and carried, okay? Mountain is normally the one that carries him around, he’s strong and sturdy and can easily carry Phantom on his back, over his shoulder, on his hip, how ever the little ghoul desires.

Phantom’s doesn’t even have to ask, just has to lift his arms and makes grabby hands towards Mountain and the Earth ghoul is more then happy to pick him up. Mountain never complains about it, he like it, the weight and pressure of Phantom clinging to him was a comfort to him. And Phantom like being carried around like a rag doll, so it was a win for both ghouls.

The issue came on the tour bus when Mountain was wasn’t available, no ghoul was, all of them were fast asleep curled together in one of the corners of the bus. Which left Phantom say on his own, the only one awake, as the back of the bus, pouting, his ears pinned back in distress.

That was where Copia found him, curled in on himself, scowling angrily at nothing. As soon as he spots copia he whines, his arms raising into the air.

They two hasn’t spent much time alone. If Phantom was being honest he was a little intimidated by Copia. He’d heard from the other ghouls that the man wasn’t as intimidating as he let on, that was actually a little awkward and clumsy. Phantom had yet to see that side to him, so he stayed away a little. But today, he didn’t care, too desperate for affection.

Copia looks around confused, thinking Phantom wanted something off a shelf he couldn’t reach.

Phantom whines, scowling even more at Copia.

Copia looks even more confused.

“I-what? What do you want?

Phantom just whines again, making grabby hands towards Copia and pouts. Mountain would have picked him up by now.

“What? What is it?” Copia gestures around the room. “There is nothing here! What do you want? Me? Do you want a cuddle? To be picked up? What is it you want?”

Phantom squeaks, his ears pricking up at the sound of what he wants. He uncurls himself from his spot where he was sat and pushing his way into Copia’s still gesturing arms. He jumps up a little, making the older man catch him. He wraps his legs around his waist, his arms wrapping around his neck, burying his face into his neck with a happy thrill.

“Oh.” Copia is a little stunned but moves Phantom so he sits more comfortably on his hip. “You did want to be picked up.”

Phantom chuffs, burying his face deeper into Copia’s neck. Copia coos at him, gently running a hand through the ghouls hair.

“You’re just a big baby, aren’t you?”

A purr rumbles though Phantom as Copia begins to rock them gently where he stands. Copia can’t help letting out a laugh, feeling the purr vibrate through his chest.

“You are a cute one, aren’t you?”

Phantom chuffs again, licking at Copia’s neck, where his scent glad would be if he were a ghoul. Mountain wakes up not long after, the sound of clattering in the small kitchen pulls him from a peaceful sleep. He lets out a loud laugh at the sight of Phantom wrapped around Copia. The small ghoul had managed to rope someone else into carrying him around.

Imagine your f/o proposing to you. Their lower lip quivers and their hands tremble in that short moment between their question and your response. Their heart thumps in their chest loudly, they feel like the world melted away and nothing but you mattered. The ring glitters in the light, matching the happy tears that stream from both your eyes as you dive in to their embrace. A million mutterings of "yes" later, you're still held tightly in their arms as they slip the ring on to your finger. It fits perfectly.
