… Gyomei doesn’t mind receiving calls from you throughout the day. He’s endlessly patient, always willing to listen, and warns you in advance if he can’t talk for long. His strategy for setting and respecting boundaries? Planning ahead and communicating his availability to make sure you feel prioritized and included in his decision making, while still fulfilling his own wants and needs.

… Obanai dislikes it as much as you do, but is ~somewhat more subtle about it. He, at least, has Kaburamura to keep him company, but kissing you is decidedly more pleasant. He’s mindful about maintaining healthy boundaries and expectations—he knows codependency shouldn’t be romanticized—but he’s also so wholly in love with you, that sometimes he gives up and surprises you anyway. “Obanai? You’re two hours early?? Are you okay???” He nods sheepishly, already pulling you into a hug, “I’m fine. Missed you.” “Is Sanemi going to complain to me the next time I see him?” you sigh, scrunched grin revealing your contentment despite the exasperation in your tone. “Probably, I don’t care. I left him enough to cover more than my share of the tab.”

… Mitsuri totally understands your anxiety, and is lovingly firm about ensuring you don’t slip into unhealthy habits. “You can text me anytime, but only call if there’s an emergency, okay?” she murmurs, pressing a soft kiss to your earlobe. You nod slightly, resisting the urge to pout. “I’ll be home before you know it.” Even though it stings, you know it’s never personal. Her willingness to draw straightforward boundaries, as well as her willingness to cross them if you’re truly upset, are just another reason to cherish her.

… Shinobu checks in every couple of hours. Sometimes it’s just a single sentence text, other times a quick call, but she knows how important feeling connected is to you. It’s important to her too, of course, but she’s apt to lose track of time when she’s at the hospital or her lab—she enjoys her work—so she puts in conscious effort to be proactive about your anxiety. When she anticipates a busier or longer day, she’ll ask, “Is it okay if I only check in during meals today?” Generally, you’ll reassure her that, “Absolutely, I’m so proud of you,” and if you’re having a low day, then she always figures out a compromise with you before she leaves.

… Kyojuro unknowingly reassures you, because—apparently—everything reminds him of you. Whether it’s a photo of a flower shortly after he arrives at work Pretty flower, but you’re prettier 🌻, a photo of the sky during his lunch break The cloud formations remind me of you, so soft and mesmerizing ☁️, or a blurry selfie as he finally heads home for the day Cannot wait to see you! 😁, you’re kept in the loop. … Sanemi often forgets to explicitly text, call, or otherwise contact you. He doesn’t mean to aggravate your anxiety: he just doesn’t quite ~get it, and assumes it stems from insecurity or jealousy — which also confuses him. “You have nothing to worry about. How could I fall in love with someone else when I’m already in love with you?” he snorts, lightly tapping your nose. “That’s not…” you bite at your lip, unsure how to explain yourself. “I’m not big on texting, you know that. It’s not that I specifically dislike texting you.” You smile despite yourself, eyes rolling fondly, “I know it’s not specific to me.” “So then what’s the issue?” he’s determined to understand. “I’m afraid of being alone,” you shrug, gesturing vaguely, “Don’t worry about it. It’s nothing.” Arms crossing, he leans in, forehead bumping yours, voice warm and low on your skin as you gulp, “It’s okay to be afraid of things, and being afraid isn’t nothing.” Arms uncrossing, he settles his hands on your hips, kneading gently as he pulls back slightly, fixing an even gaze on your flushed expression, “I can’t be with you all the time, but I can promise that I love you and think about you.” “All the time?” you ask quietly. It’s his turn to blush, eyes closing as he dips his face into your neck, muttering softly, “All the damn time.”

… Muichiro is a bit absentminded, and rarely thinks to check his phone, but he sets reminders—around noon, and later in the afternoon—to make up for it. If he’s occupied and misses his usual look-at-his-phone time(s), then he’s never bothered by a call from you coming through (besides your number, his phone’s always on Do Not Disturb). In the bathroom? He’ll pick up. About to bite into his lunch? He’ll put it aside. Presenting during a meeting? He’ll literally answer his phone mid sentence, and leave the room (creative liberty: thank gosh he’s the boss hah). He’s aware of his head-in-the-clouds tendencies, just as he’s aware of your anxiety, and feels that having a specific routine is perfectly fair: if he forgets to uphold his end of your expectations, then you’ve every right to remind him. Conversely, if he’s feeling overwhelmed, he’s more than capable of reasserting his own needs — an infinite practice of mutual respect and taking necessary space.

… Giyuu feels uneasy too, but his discomfort stems primarily from how most people tend to socially drain him — you’re one of few that he can feel both stimulated and rested around. Therefore, if it’s a spend-time-with-you versus spend-time-around-others situation, then he’d prefer to be with you. Spend-time-with-you versus spend-time-by-himself situations are more complicated. It takes a lot of discussion, some heavy evenings apart, and tense evenings together, but you gradually nurture a shared understanding and acceptance of your varying needs. He’s always happy to reassure you that I’m not upset with you, nor am I tired of you; I’m just tired, while you’re slowly learning to trust him and his commitment to loving you.

… Tengen could care less about how clingy you are. Super duper clingy? He loves it. Not clingy at all? He’s cool and confident — he knows you adore him as much as he adores you. His easygoingness, however, isn’t the most productive in terms of processing and reducing your overall anxiety. In fact, you eventually have to tell him that he shouldn’t answer your texts or calls immediately, every single time, without a hint of irritation, because it reinforces your self soothing behaviors. “But I’m happy to?!” he grins, kissing the top of your head. “I know, and I appreciate you,” you chuckle, tucked snugly into his side, “But I don’t want to feel afraid of being alone-” “Sooo don’t be alone!” he interrupts enthusiastically, “Again, I’m happy to keep you company!” Inhaling deeply, you gently grip his jaw, a silent request for him to focus, “And again, I appreciate you, but sometimes I have to feel afraid to stop feeling afraid. If I’m never alone, then I can’t ever feel afraid,” hesitating, voice softer now, “And I know you’ll promise to never leave me, but shit happens. Y’know?” He’s silent, maroon eyes steady and tender as he holds your gaze. Before you can nervously murmur Tengen?, he touches his nose to your forehead, still smiling. “I love you. I’ll do my best to help, even from a distance.” “Well don’t go too far away,” you quip. “Of course not,” he laughs, “I’ll just go wherever you tell me to,” declared earnest and true.

hello !!!!!!!!! im back on the grid again and with a bang, here to deliver a comic ive been working on since september ! its gonna be pretty messy, inconsistent, and just purely me having fun . therell be a lot of things ive thought through thoroughly, and therell be some things i forgot to even existed ! all in all this is a comic about a character whos been gone for a year and one that doesnt even exist, so its all built from me being silly

there will be sensitive topics discussed or depicted ! those will have a warning placed beforehand for each update, even though many of these things are meant to be up to interpretation or implied . some anecdotes ive written have been quite heavy though, so if i end up finishing them, listen to the content warnings

this will be a non-linear story, so instead of chapters i have named them anecdotes . they will be moreso bits and pieces of my o!quackity and o!wilbur's lives, specifically of them together, so some parts will be before or after others . some parts will reference each other, or foreshadow, but u likely wont need to read the anecdotes in any specific order

^ and so, because of this, the dynamics of wwtc&s!tntduo will change and will be inconsistent, just as what happens with real people if u look into random pockets of their life . some anecdotes theyll be more comfortable with each other, some theyll be more spiteful, some theyll be more awkward, etc. especially since oquackity has no character and owilbur is underdeveloped

this comic is a lot about change but also keeping familiarity in said change, which is totally not just an excuse for my inconsistent ass nope nuh-nuh. this time its actually relevant to the characters !!!!

and YEAH . i am doing all this just bc cc!quackity mentioned in the 2021 wine stream that he was in the originssmp discord and wanted to actually play but never did . im still mad abt it so ive decided to just make shit up now 👍

by the way !!!!!!!!! the big wings wilbur has on the cover r actually not canon anymore . Lol . i drew that before i had a more concrete idea of the comic and its concepts, but i really didnt feel like editing it (the tail is also missing), so i kept it cause idrc FDKDFKJ

i may draw him with wings again sometime just bc i really like it, but for the sake of story - know that theyre not canon, and that his cloak compensates for his lack of wings

Summary: The trio with a reader who has attachment issues.

You were born in the orphanage, and grew up there along with all your siblings. But, whenever you made a close friend, they ended up getting adopted, leaving you all alone. What hurt even more was that you never heard of them again. So, when you ended up befriending the trio, you constantly feared that one day they would leave you too.

Norman was used to your clinginess, how you’d always follow him around like a lost pup, practically glued to his hip. Hell, sometimes you’d even have your arms wrapped around one of his as you two walked side by side. Almost 24 hours of your day is spent as close to him as possible, but sadly you simply couldn’t be by his side all day, yet you still tried. Not that he minded!

Emma enjoys having you around as a playmate! You two would run around and play games together, sometimes just laying in the grass and gazing at the sky above you. You were always apart of her little shenanigans, you being her go-to person when she has mischief in mind! The two of you tell each other everything, and definitely have secret handshakes/signals that only the two of you understand. :)

Ray wasn’t as fond of your closeness as the other two, enjoying his space and alone time, but he still appreciated your company. You’d often join him in reading sessions or long conversations in the library. Sometimes you two would sit under his usual tree and write/draw in the dirt with sticks. When his social battery was drained, he’d send you off to Emma or Norman whilst he recharged. Though, you being so clingy made it easier for him to tell you the secret. Short story you ended up having a breakdown in his arms, to which he comforted you through the entire thing, until your screams turned to sobs, your sobs turned to whimpers, and your whimpers turned to deep breaths as you slowly regained control of yourself.

So imagine how hurt you were when you figured out Norman was being “adopted”. And the fact that you now knew the secret made it even more heart breaking. You now know why you never heard from your other siblings, and now Norman was about to join them. You simply couldn’t take it. Not him, anyone but him.

You stopped caring that you were supposed to be hiding the fact that you knew the secret, and barged into Mom’s office. She looked up from her desk shocked, but smiled warmly at your rage filled, yet tearful expression. How could she smile at something like this?

You slammed your hands on her desk, demanding that you were shipped out in Norman’s place. You’d do anything, anything at all, as long as it meant keeping Norman alive for just a bit longer. Mom quickly hushed you, reminding you that the other children can’t hear you, but agreed she’d think about it.

So that’s how you ended up here, in the forest, past the fence, with the trio standing behind you and Mom directly in front. No other children in the way, no more pretending, just a conversation where everyone can finally be themselves.

“I’ve decided that Y/N will be shipped out in Norman’s place, and the three of you will be the first children to survive up to 13. I hope you’re happy with this arrangement, Y/N.” Norman was the first to run up to you, shaking your shoulders, asking you if you were out of your mind and what you were thinking. Ray was next, giving you a good slap, to which Norman scolded Ray for, but the raven haired boy simply brushed it off.

“Idiot! What do you think you’re doing?!” You rubbed your now red cheek, but looked the three children in the eye with a serious expression.

“It’ll be better this way. This gives you guys more time to enjoy life. Besides, your brains will be more developed, so you’ll taste better.” You acted like you simply wanted the three to live longer, even throwing out that last bit to make Mom consider keeping the children alive even longer to develop their brains more. But what Mom didn’t catch was your quick wink, signaling the children that there was more to the story. Emma stepped in first, forcing herself to cry (well let’s be fair, she felt like crying as soon as she heard you’d be getting shipped out, so it wasn’t that difficult to start spilling tears) and embraced you, the two boys joining, putting on quite the believable show that they’d given up. Mom simply smiled before walking off.

When you were sure she was gone and out of ear-shot, you stepped away from your friends.

“Guys please, I know this sucks but this is our only way for us to escape! Mom’s giving you guys more time to live, so it gives you more time to train. Somebody has to die to save the rest, and I’d rather that person be me.” Yet again, you were given a hard slap, almost knocking you to the ground this time.

“You think you’re doing us a favor?! We can all survive if we just-“

“No Ray, we can’t! We don’t know what’s really out there, we don’t know what we’re up against, so be realistic! Besides, I’m tired of losing people, so this sacrifice is just doing me a favor.” With that, you stormed out the forest, leaving the 3 other children in shock.

hello tia darling 💙 i picked this one because it just started raining again outside, and it's midnight, so obviously my brain went midnight rain by taylor swift. because i'm me, and also because vaguely poetic angst at midnight is, apparently, the way to go.

Sometimes, when the clouds roll in over the midnight sea and raindrops draw silvery, moonlit tear-marks down his windows, Charles thinks of Pierre.

They aren't thoughts he can let himself think in the light of day, because the day is when he is supposed to smile, and stand up straight despite how he feels like his back is breaking under the weight of everything he was supposed to win this year (and everything he lost instead.)

But when the whole world is quiet except for the faint whisper of rain on the roof, Charles lets himself think of Pierre's laughter, and the way he reached for Charles' arm, and how his kiss was the sweetest thing Charles had ever tasted, like coming home and discovering a new world all at once. Until he pulled away, and shook his head no, and broke Pierre's heart because he couldn't afford the distraction and comfort-dulled senses that might cause him to lose out on precious thousandths on-track.

Sometimes, when the clouds roll in over the midnight sea, Charles thinks of Pierre, and wishes that he had chosen comfort instead.

When someone deliberately misunderstands or misconstrues her words, or generally disrespects or belittles her feelings. If she's mad it's very easy for her to let go of people, especially if they haven't been in her life very long. Sometimes she doe have regrets about it, but she does hold a grudge.

Design-wise, the addition of all the scars she got from the recent tiger ambush; emotionally, she is letting go of, or at least reshaping and shrinking, her past guilt. The confidence in themself, their choices, and their capability is in there, I know it. I believe in her.

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

Her colored pencils all have little bite marks on the ends because she chews things when she's thinking hard about something, and often she is thinking very hard when she's drawing.

💘 HEART W/ ARROW - what traits do they look for in a relationship? do they believe in love at first sight?

Juni's not very good at thinking about relationships, but I think something she would appreciate in a partner is someone who doesn't put too much pressure on her and is ok with making small decisions for both of them. She already pressures herself so much she needs a break! As far as love at first sight, it's a no from her. It takes a lot of time and familiarity for her to even consider someone romantically; she's not one to jump in headfirst.

Things that make me happy:

1) flowers in full bloom! When I look outside my window, it brings me so much joy to see beautiful, bright pink roses blooming with soft yellow and white irises. They’re absolutely gorgeous and if you look closely, the petals are almost iridescent. 💐🌹🌷🌺🌸🌼

2) nice warm showers that help me breathe and make me feel clean! I have a bit of a sensory thing that makes me want to shower everyday 🐼 but the steam is great for deep, calming breaths, and the hot water soothes my skin and muscles. 🚿 🧼

3) doodling smol animals in my sketchbook with random names. There’s a little fox that’s named mango in there right now who I might draw a friend for 🦊 🥭 it’s both calming and gives me room to be creative!

4) the sky. That’s it. Just looking up into the vast sky gives me such a sense of how large it is compared to me. (Gives me an existential crisis sometimes but never mind that hehe). When there are clouds up in the sky, I love staring at them and seeing how the light affects the different densities of the clouds. I love painting so looking closely at the warm and cool colors present gives me so much inspiration. ☁️ ☀️ 🌌

5) color-coding literally anything. All my markers are color-coded. All the candy I eat has to be color-coded before I eat it. All my clothing is color-coded. Pretty much all of my art supplies are color-coded and so are my notes! It used to slow down my note taking because I insisted that everything go through ROYGBIV 🐼

The only thing of emotional value Chris has left, from their time at the two foster homes they were living at, is a little notebook they had filled with food and recipes that they had prepared with said families. If their foster parents at the time allowed it, they would cook with them, and note down what they did for 'later use'. They still go through the notebook sometimes and revisit those dishes, and they would be heartbroken if it was damaged or lost.

Rashmi still has some of her old toys and drawings/creative projects she did as a kid, though most things she and her brother Ranveer donated to other kids that have more use for it now. The toys she has kept to herself are wooden toys her now passed father Aditya has made for her, a small sunspear and many animals from the desert. Her most cherished one was a toy of a 'monster' they'd thought of together when she was small, a jumbled mix of a griffon, a choya and a sand eel. She wouldn’t forgive herself if she lost that...

Considering sylvari don't really have a childhood I'm gonna take an object from Rhiannín's first few months as a fresh sapling. It's her earring, a gift she received from a lovely elderly human woman in Divinity's Reach. Rhiannín had stumbled into her while running errands, and helped her bring them home, where she found out the old lady used to be a jeweler. She was invited to stay for lunch, then for dinner, and while they were cooking and talking together, the old lady was telling her stories of how she met her wife and their adventures together. A few weeks later, Rhiannín received a lovely letter with thanks for the lovely evening and earrings. She wears one earring in her ear, the other is safely kept in a little jewelry box until she finally gets to pierce her other ear. lol She, too, would be very depressed about losing those earrings and the letter.

Chris enjoys summer the most, cause it's warm and they get to bring the pups to a lake for a little swim and not worry abt them catching a cold.

Rashmi enjoys the desert winter, because it rains more, making the desert bloom. :)

Rhiannín loves autumn, when the trees all turn different hues of red, orange and yellow. And so many leaf piles to jump into. <3333

🔪 KNIFE - how do they react to injury / misfortune befalling their loved ones (significant other, family, friends)? do they put themselves at blame?

All three obviously get very worried, they’re all kind of mother hens when it comes to this, trying to help their loved one patch up and rest. Rashmi the most honestly, she’s the one that absolutely will not argue about this. ☠️ She and Rhiannín are also the two of the three to feel guilty about their loved one getting hurt regardless if they were there or not to maybe prevent it, but both wouldn’t say it out loud to not worry their loved one.

Chris is the most calm (on the outside LOL) out of them, they’d feel guilty if they were present when it happened, but other than that they just hope Stella does not leave that bed and act like its nothing as soon as they leave the room. 🚶‍♂️ It’s like “could you please stay in be- oh you’re on your feet and want to get out. well how convenient that im blocking the entire door so u cant leave. eat ur soup pretty please. :)”

Rashmi picked up sewing from her best friend Yasmeen, when the two used to sew and alter their own clothes as teen girls. :) She then taught it to her brother Ranveer, so they both could fix the family’s shirt holes. 😭

Shining Funeral.

Thank you for those who joined me in watching me performing random actions in Shining Live in its final moments. Your presence made the event less depressed. 💀

I thought I would just play the songs or watch some stories for one last time during the final hour. But I found that I've got some event medals left and were able to get some bangles for ur tickets and some Reiji SRs I haven't acquired. That was a pleasant surprise because it was kinda surreal doing the 100% UR gacha with all those tickets. Time went by so fast when there's so little time left for the game. An hour past like a few minutes, but I was still able to watch one last new story from a new Reiji SR I've got from the bangles. And it happened to be the Christmas story... I guess that's the perfect end for my time with the game.

I've never expected that I actually had fun in the final moments in the game, since I had a lot of bad things to say about how shitty klab handled the closing of the game, like how they refused to merge the server even when people are spamming them emails. Another thing that I didn't expect is THAT THEY CLOSE THE SERVER AT THE EXACT SECOND THE CLOCK HITS 1400 JPT LIKE WHY DO U HAVE NO MERCY FOR US. With your shitty attitude I thought the whole international server team is sleeping since the announcement of server close and now you're proving to us that you guys can actually be efficient in handling things, in the worst way possible 😭

Memories with Shining Live

I've forgot the exact date I started playing the game, and it's impossible to find it out since the account was pre-owned by my sister (and yes the birthday is set to hers so every year Reiji congratulated her birthday lmao). However what I know is that I started playing during the period of White Day Reiji gacha. He is so gorgeous in every way and I was so glad that I was able to get his card before the gacha ended (actually I kinda whaled but yeah I'm happy because sometimes you can whale and get nothing).

I was even happier when I learned about his story. His story told me that I can do good things with my talents as long as I have good intentions. I thought all my talent can bring to people is hate and envy, but he helped me to start believing myself, to start drawing. Being with him in the game, learning more about him, and making memories with him in the game heals me, and adds something in my empty soul.

Shortly after joining the game, there was a Reiji SR event, the Rainy Ren event. It was a shame that I barely missed Tier 1 as my cards were awful back then and people were crazy on that event. But I was still happy that I maxed my Reiji SR. It was also a painful lesson that taught me to aim higher next time so I can guarantee the tier I wanted.

Fortunately, after the failed attempt in tiering, I got a chance to try again in the SSL Reiji event, and he was also with Natsuki in that event, who was my second boy back then. The set list is perfect as I love every songs there, but the difficulty of the set list was extremely challenging for me as I could barely finish a pro song at that time. I remember my struggle to even complete the last song Kisu wa Winku De (EXTRA). But I endured it all for Reiji, and managed to T1 it. I've got my first Rainbow Crowned Reiji UR card and I still remember the joy of accomplishment. Also the card is one of my favourite Reiji cards. Who can hate this cute boy wearing his favourite outfit and begging for a hug while laying on a cloud with rainbows 💚😭☁️🌈

And then I crowned another Reiji UR on his bday. It's crazy that I saved whaled 12k prisms for his bday gacha. It is just wild doing gacha for an hour non stop. He is still my favourite bday UR! Maybe there will be another new bday UR to top him next year but I can't get him anymore so it's safe to say he's the best bday UR. It's a shame that I will be 1 copy short of rainbow crowning my 2nd Reiji Cruise UR because my luck on the bday gacha for the rest of my gaming life suck ass.

Then is the Reiji SR for Otoya SSL event. I absolutely love this SR because he looks funny af. I made numerous memes of him 💀One of the edits is the legendary Hamji lmao

The 2nd Reiji UR event I tiered is the Treasure Hunter Reiji. Imo the card is kinda meh but NEVER... was in the list. Also it was the first time I participated in a nametrain. I believed I was Rank 6 in the picture lmao

The next event is FAR FROM MEH. IT IS MY FAVOURITE EVENT OF ALL TIME. IT IS MINEBUKI. It is the peak form of event. The song list is perfect with two of my favourite songs, Kisu wa Winku De and BLACK DEJAVU IN IT. The difficulty of BLACK DEJAVU is absolutely horrible but I managed to Ultimate Combo it and play it for hundreds of times💀I love this song so fucking much that stop playing the songs was actually the hardest part of the event, as I was trying to park my score. The Minebuki event was the first time I tried to score park and I was so happy that I parked it successfully. It required some calculations and focus to do it, which I was horrible at, but the joy of score parking was so great that I tried to do it everytime I tier for Reiji events. Besides of the event, the story of Minebuki is epic too. His bravery to emit that he has made an imperfect decision which brought harm to the people, and to try fixing the problem no matter the cost is beautiful. He may not be a perfect character but the way he burns is so beautiful, that I can't find another story in game to top it.

I even parked my play count for BLACK DEJAVU at 415 that time lol

After a looooooong wait with some Reiji SR events, he finally got another UR event, Flower Reiji. It is the longest event gap in the history to this date and the ultra short gap between his previous 2 events (2nd shortest event gap in game) only made the wait more painful lmao. Too bad that I don't like that event. The only thing that makes the event bearable for me is that Timepiece is in the list and also it's a Reiji event💀

After the meh event, finally there is a HOT REIJI EVENT. I remember the reaction when I saw the event. HE IS VERY HOT. Actually the rest of the event is very average. The story is meh and the none of the songs in the list is my fav. The stats and skills are kinda trash too. But the list is interesting tho, especially for the beatmap for HURRAYx2 DREAMERS. It's like I'm dancing with Reiji while playing the song and it's the best part of the event. BUT ANYWAY HE IS VERY HOT. THAT'S IT HE IS H O T.

The last event I tiered in this game is Null Reiji event. He definitely won't top Minebuki but the memory I made in this event is probably the best one. It's the first (and maybe the last) Reiji event that I edited the name train for the name train group. I tried working as the main editor for them before but this one is the event of my best boy. Also THE THEME WORKS PERFECTLY WITH MY AESTHETIC. It's fucking wild to spend 40+hrs on the edits while tiering the event with 6.9M score at the same time but I enjoy every moment of it. It's the first time I parked my score for town event and there's little information on it. I almost failed it which gave me a mini heart attack but I managed to save it with good maths 😃👍🏻

Conclusion

The existence of the game has changed my life. I've never thought I can truly enjoy something, and accomplish anything in my life, but this game proved me wrong. I am a horrible gamer but in this game I was able to achieve some cool stuff by score parking and creating cool stuff for the community and whaling 💀 With this game, my life is no longer blank, and I am the one who fill it with beautiful memories. I've spent so much money in the game that I literally don't know how much I've spent, but I guess it'll treat it as the cost for a therapy lmao. I think that I am strong enough to live without the game, as Reiji reminded me of the power I possess that will stay with me forever. Also Reiji is still with me! Actually idec about what they gonna do with him because I can create some Reiji content myself if I really want to.

After the closing of the game, I won't continue playing on Japan server as the experience will never be the same. I can't read Japanese so I won't be able to understand the stories in game or communicate with other gamers. It's pointless to just play for the sake of playing so I believe this is the end of my journey with Shining Live and the beginning of money saving thank god.

But the short period of time, the 2 years (or maybe 3 idk maths lol) I spent with Shining Live is long enough leave so many beautiful memories in my mind, and much more beautiful things can grow from them...

I think we once made a joke in the Discord a while back about Matty independently coming up with the concept of a candy apple without knowing it existed before, but being told by his parents that it did in fact exist and he’s not trying it because it would waste sugar. He will put sugar in pretty much anything suitable when there is access to it. Apart from that, he picks raspberries off bushes and eats them/offers them to patrol partners.

☀️ SUN - are they a morning person? what is the first thing they do in the morning?

He’s not a morning person, but is more of a morning person than Pedro was - resulting in him being chief tea-maker. Matty did experiment with various forms of herbal tea depending on what had been foraged, some of which he will admit were genuinely hideous. If there is sugar around, he puts it in his own tea. Mint tea, primarily, which both men agreed was the pinnacle of herbal tea (if only to get Matty to stop attempting to improve on it). Around the time of The Incident, he was attempting to find a way to dry berries for tea purposes without anyone else noticing and wanting in on it. Did I mention his love language is acts of service?

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

Sometimes he gets artistic inspiration from something that is going on in the vicinity - someone with a unique tattoo from the Before Times carrying something nearby, friends talking and laughing, someone resting their head on their partner’s shoulder - and he’ll sit alone in a quieter corner and draw a similar scene in his sketchbook during his downtime. The book contains both little and detailed sketches of friends and family, but also of total strangers who seemed aesthetically interesting at the time. This is something he’s continued to do since The Incident, and is currently working on a drawing of someone leaning against a wall in a brief moment’s break from storm recovery work. It’s almost a little social history of Idaho Falls, as well as being a visual record of the Alston and Vázquez families.

There aren't many people that really. see Colin enough to assume anything about him haha! I suppose people would pretty immediately assume that he was into pastel/cutsey things from the way he dresses..which is very true LOL!.

If someone were to get acquainted with him enough to make an assumption about him that was based on his personality they might get the feeling that there is something not quite. right about him LOL, ( things like he might get a little TOO flustered if someone were to physically touch him, even if it's something as small as a someone brushing against him while they're passing by or how just. desperate yet reserved he might come across as if he felt he even slightly got along with someone ) It's kinda hard to explain but I feel like if someone was to briefly talk to Colin they might get the sense that there is a certain. unstableness to him?? which, I mean, is correct LMAO.

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

Colin loves baking!! He doesn't do it alot since he can't really eat alot of sweets but it's still something he loves doing!! When he bakes he'll sometimes narrate his steps as if he's talking to an audience ( I don't know if that's more. sad then it is soft though LOLLL ).

He also hums/sings alot when he does mindless actions like cleaning or drawing! Its always some anime intro to some voca///loid song that he's humming!

Antoine: prefers cold drinks in general and as with food he's not picky, but would go for a beer if he's not working, cola otherwise

Nicholas: coffee. That's it, they live, breathe and are sustained solely by coffee. In general just black, but they do like to switch it up sometimes with some milk (not much for caramel or anything like that tho) .

Rene: depends on the weather, if its hot a milkshake and if it's cold tea or hot chocolate - but anything goes as long as it contains at least 50% sugar

Densil: def wine, if he treats himself which is rare. Otherwise has no preference for hot or cold, also depends on the weather

🕷️ SPIDER - what is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

Antoine: cannot stand restraints of any kind, to the point where he'll even be very uncomfortable by long/tight hugs. Ortega has definitely gotten a bloody nose from Antoine headbutting him for hugging him too long.

Nicholas: being exposed, as in his alternate identities and current occupation of being a villain being found out by Julia mainly, or the Farm finding his real identity. Also the dark.

Rene: talking to people, especially people she doesn’t know.

Densil: hates lacking control over a situation, they can deal with unexpected complications - but mainly does so by planning for them as well.

📣 MEGAPHONE - how loud are they? what do they speak like? got a voice claim?

I've been trying for so long to find voice claims but I'm never really happy with them so descriptions will be all

Antoine: can be pretty loud at times, if he’s excited, or upset. When he was younger he had some problems regulating the volume of his voice. In general he tends to speak with a bit of a drawl and people can have a hard time telling if he’s serious or not.

Nicholas: Has a low voice, but manages to make it very audible by articulating well. When he’s upset he can get /very/ loud and sometimes shrill. Speaks carefully most of the time, sometimes very flat, sometimes passionately - very varied.

Rene: Tiny voice, barely audible most of the time, but can be louder if she’s comfortable, which is rarely. Has a pretty melodious voice.

Densil: Tends to speak in short sentences in a flat tone unless he’s really trying, then he can sound pretty pleasant or at least polite. Doesn't generally let much emotion show, though ortega and chen has definitely managed to get some of the anger to show

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

Antoine: likes to doodle, wouldn't say he actually draws because he rarely sits down to finish a whole piece. It's mostly something he does while doing something else, to keep focus, like while listening to the news or something. He usually just doodles mindlessly, but it's usually things that have been on his mind recently (like certain rangers)

Nicholas: thinking about Nicholas having long hair now, while Julia's is short. Julia braiding Nic's hair instead. It's soft, but there's also a lot of feelings. About change, and the time that they lost, but also old rituals being rediscovered and given new life.

Rene: being invited to tía Elena's house and seeing Julia's room was a very good experience for Rene. She was nervous at first, but meeting Ortega's closest family and seeing where she grew up made her seem more human, she'd always seemed like this perfect hero who was just a bit too good to be true. Seeing this side made her easier to connect to - despite the fact that Rene didn't have anything like that.

Densil: some of their favourite moments during sidestep days were when they were playing chess with Chen, it's one of few pastimes that they don't think is a waste (and maybe they liked spending time with Chen). I’m thinking they’d have a game again later and things are maybe not awful for a moment.

💚 GREEN HEART - what things make your oc feel comforted? hugs, kisses, food?

Antoine: smooches for sure, touch in general but if that's not an option or he's not in the mood, just taking a walk is good

Nicholas: cuddles, encouragement, having coffee and honestly just holding a cup of coffee is comforting to him

Rene: usually food, cupcakes preferably (thats not real food i know), hugs

Densil : haha comfort who's she? Densil rarely feels, or lets herself feel comforted; food is just fuel, touch is mostly uncomfortable. The most comfortable she feels is when she’s had a shower and is having a cigarette.

🏊 - Petunia, thanks to not having been around large sources of water growing up (since yknow cliffs) can't swim! Was absolutely stunned by the ocean upon seeing it for the first time, and sometimes takes walks along the edge of town to see it

🕷️ - hmm.. the fear that keeps Petunia up at night sometimes is being forced to leave again, after having finally settled in. The fear that everyone knows about is losing her keys... it has happened a lot and it KEEPS HAPPENING and sometimes she randomly is like OH SHIT WHERE ARE MY KEYS but they're somewhere obvious (think glasses on your head obvious)
