GIVE THE OP UPDATE, how far are you and what are your favorite ships??
LOL FAIR
I JUST finished the Alabasta arc and started the Skypeia arc (skipped all the filler in between). The scene where Vivi says goodbye to the Strawhats had me feelin REAL emo man
Also when Zoro looks up on the ship and literally all of them are sticking their heads out through the rungs like “I miss Vivi :(((((“ that was such a sweet moment oh my god they love her she is their NAKAMA 😭
AS FOR SHIPS OH YEAH. I’m so invested now. Zolu is king of my heart forever but any combo of Zoro/Luffy/Sanji is also god tier. OH and Vivi/Nami of COURSE. And I keep seeing LA fanart of Shanks/Mihawk which also has me like 👀

part 2 of Zoro in WCI
01 02
I tried to write something to sum up my thoughts on this, but then it got longer and longer and tbh I'm itching to write a fic set in this AU djjdkf I think I could develop on their inner feelings more than in the comic form
Before posting the first part I didn't realize people had such strong opinions on how this would play out lmaooo
imo, of course Zoro wants to fight Sanji, not with actual intent to harm (they threaten each other on the daily, come on), but because that's how they are together, how they communicate. He respects Luffy's decisions and their goal here, which is to learn what's really going on with Sanji, but he's gonna be pissy about it all he wants. They both have so many intense and conflicted feelings about this and neither has any idea how to resolve them. So they fight.
ofc yall are free to headcanon this interaction any other way you want <333

hiii 🙈 can i req zoro getting into a fight over reader? either someone said something about her/flirted with he, doesn’t matter. thank uuu i love your work <3
˖ ݁ ˓ — he gets in a fight
ft. zoro roronoa
a/n : thank u ahhhh 😽😽 this was cute to write
he groaned as you dabbed the alcohol-soaked cotton ball onto his forehead, “that hurt.”
“well you should’ve thought about that before getting into a fight, he was only saying that to get on your nerves.” you stated, reaching behind him to grab more supplies.
“what was i supposed to do y/n?” he sighed.
“don’t punch the dude! we were supposed to be—”
“he said things about you once you left.. it was a pussy thing to do.” he muttered, you let out a frustrated huff. “i know, thank you for defending me, but i don’t care about what other people say about me.”
he gritted his teeth at the sudden pain “plus, we were supposed to have fun tonight. there was no fighting! but you let that guy ruin it.” you stopped to look at his reaction for a moment.
“y/n.” he pauses. “i’d do anything for you. even if it means fighting some guy, i’ve fought worse than him” he laughs but your still serious.
“c’mon, im sorry.” he sounds desperate. your breath hitches, you don’t know what to say because you want to be mad at him but how could you be? he was so caring.
“thank you. all better.” you smile at him before sitting beside him and leaning your head on his shoulder.
a comfortable silence fills the room, he eventually leans his on yours and you can hear the rest of the crew on the top of the deck. your thoughts wander. “zoro?”
“yeah?” he meets your gaze. “what did he look like?” you question, a small grin spreading across your face. even if you were upset about it, you knew he won.
he chuckled at the look on your face, “worse than me, he definitely has something broken.” your jaw drops and you playfully slap him. “zoro roronoa! are you kidding?”
“hey, i did what i had to do.” he shrugs. “and you only got hit in the face?” you question.
“well..” he repositions himself so he’s facing you more, “the one on my lip really hurts.”
you smile, “really?”
“yes, i think a kiss will help it.” he glances at your lips before his hand cups your cheek, finally closing the distance between you two. your lips meet an you close your eyes, leaning into him. one of his hands slid down to your waist to hold you even closer to him, feeling the warmth of each other.

the great irony of early one piece antagonists believing zoro was the actual captain and using luffy as a puppet ... oda really threw us a bone and curb-stomped it right in our faces. yes, zoro could be a captain in his own right. yes, zoro could match luffy in strength. yes, zoro knows this perfectly well. and you know what? he chose luffy two years ago, and he will continue to choose luffy again and again. roronoa zoro, the pirate hunter, who followed a wannabe pirate with a nonexistent crew on a whim because luffy brought him his swords and made a half-assed attempt at a bargain. zoro, who made a vow to never lose again on both his and luffy's honor. zoro, who told luffy he'd make him commit harakiri if he got in the way of zoro's goal, only to turn around and be willing to sacrifice his dream if it means that luffy reaches his. zoro, who stood in place and took luffy's pain and told a warlord to take his head instead of luffy's, who got down on his knees before his supposed rival and begged mihawk to mentor him so that he could return strong enough to protect his captain. zoro, who has conqueror's haki- a natural born leader- but chooses to stay at the right hand of a man he has deemed greater than himself.
and the thing that luffy fears most? being alone. being rejected. being left behind. and what should have been his foil- the pirate hunter to his pirate king, the nonbeliever to his divine, the king of hell to his sun god- instead becomes his first and most devout follower; the one who demands to follow him to hell and back. oughhhggg i'm sick to my stomach
