Fox looked up the Queen of Alderaan that night.
It was not difficult to find information about her. Alderaan was a Core planet, after all, old and rich and close to Coruscant, so she was someone who the wider public was very likely to deem relevant.
Fox wasn't exactly sure why he did it, anyway. It was none of his business. He was never going to meet the Queen, so it didn't really matter if he knew her or not. Maybe he just wanted to be sure, if, for some reason, she all of a sudden decided so show up on Coruscant, so he wouldn't make a fool out of himself. Yes, that was a good enough reason to do this. Just in case.
The Queen looked nice.
That was the first thing Fox thought when he saw her picture. He wasn't surprised about it, not at all. Senator Organa was nice, even to the clones. It just made sense that his wife would also be nice.
Her Majesty, Queen Breha Organa of Alderaan.
She had a nice nime as well, Fox thought, and that thought did surprise him.
It's 11PM and I've been going for the past 7-ish hours so my brain is not working anymore, so anyone who sees this, please do if you want (and please do also tag me to them so I can read!)

AUTHOR PORTRAIT ...
get to know the author behind the blog! repost, don't reblog.
Basics
NAME: vos
AGE: 23
PRONOUNS: they/them
YEARS OF WRITING: that definitely depends on what you classify as writing but i discovered rp as a concept in 2010 which was probably just a bit after i got into writing little short stories and things as a kid. i was writing them by hand in a little notepad that somebody in my family handed over to a school teacher, extremely mortifying ordeal to me at the time lmfao
Reflection
WHY DID YOU PICK UP WRITING? i’m pretty sure i first started by writing shitty warrior cats fanfics actually, and i didn’t know that fics or fandom in general was even a thing at the time so u could say i was destined for this sort of brainrot fgdjkh little nine year old me also encountered rp for the first time by searching for warrior cats flash games (i guess?? idk what i actually thought i’d find) and instead wound up on some random webpage with a chatbox. moved on from there to writing awful, horrible (but very fun) naruto oc’s on a website that i think was called chatango some years later, dabbled a little on imvu, and started writing on tumblr around 2015 iirc
DO YOU HAVE ANY WRITING ROUTINES? i wouldn’t say so? sometimes i’ll listen to like… instrumental interludes from certain albums or smth that i won’t enjoy too much because i find music very distracting, not just for writing but in general, and sitting in silence is a weird feeling to me too. when it comes to other things i need a podcast or video essay or something similar to be at all productive but it’s hard to focus on writing with someone yapping in your ear. i used to save writing for nights even when i have free time throughout the day, because i tend to feel bad about sitting at a computer screen all day, but with my activity in its current state i have to sit down and get it out the moment inspiration and energy align themselves for me.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT WRITING? sorry to steal your answer but i def have to agree with what layla said re the community aspect of rp actually. it’s so nice to be able to just click with someone over a shared (sometimes niche) interest and love for certain medias/characters/dynamics/genres etc. the feeling of finding someone who shares your vision. and also stemming from the same thing, i’ve always felt that my favorite and most “solid” muses are the ones that i’ve gotten the chance to develop alongside another through plotting. love shared canon, love affiliated oc’s, love group verses. allllll that good stuff.
THREE THINGS YOU LIKE ABOUT YOUR WRITING. gonna break the format we’re following here because i have to ramble and idk how to break all this into three titles, so obviously being succinct isn’t one of the answers here kfdjghd
i always try to capture a different flow and style (???) of prose depending on who i’m writing, and i’m never sure if that really comes through for others or if i just seem inconsistent, but whenever i look back at old blogs i can see it for myself and that at least keeps me content :) i want to read my writing back and feel that it has character outside of just the spoken dialogue.
i like to spend a lot of time with a piece of writing, which realistically is not to my benefit in terms of activity, but i do just really enjoy drafting and redrafting, rearranging, nitpicking at everything until it’s as close to being what i want to be as i can get it. so that’s more about the writing process than the writing itself, but i think it’s still important to allow myself to have fun with it fkjghd
pulling a blank on a third thing bc this is actually a really difficult question but i’ll come back and edit it later if something pops into my head kfjgdh
A question for the next person
HAVE YOU MADE ANY STRONG CONNECTIONS / FRIENDS DURING YOUR TIME WRITING? for sure. one of my dearest friends in this world is not a writer but someone who i met as a mutual friend of my first rp partner. i’m not really in touch with that person who introduced us anymore but i simply couldn’t live without my bestie and i consider writing the only reason we really met and she gets to kinda "beta" some of the things i do write dfkgjhd i’ve also traveled to the states a couple of times in my teens to meet a rp buddy who i’ve known since i was around ,, twelve or so i believe.
wouldn’t be right not to shout out @ohchosen here either because i was very close to leaving tumblr (and also probably rp) for good when we became friends, and writing/plotting tmkz together has been one of the best experiences i’ve ever had on this website, where friends and mutuals tend to come and go. you never did. you’re probs the funniest person i’ve ever spoken to, craft the most beautifully written responses imaginable, you put a world of effort into developing your muses and you let me derail every single one of conversations to talk about music instead gfjhdg sorry i’m so mean to you. ily a lot.
there’s also a handful of mutuals who i don’t necessarily talk or interact with very much anymore but have been around for years at this point and i have fond memories with too. always so so so glad to see you pop up on the dash, it makes me smile every time so i’ll use this as an opportunity to wave at you, you know who you are <3
NEW QUESTION: where do you draw the most inspiration from when writing? music, other medias, ur fave author, a dream you once had etc.

[also on ao3 - note: Spoilers for Stray Gods]
(also shoutout to @sango-blep whose fanart of Stray Gods got me to play it!)
Beatrice starts her own file on Stray Gods after Ava gushes for five days straight to her and their sisters about the “amazing music,” the “super hot characters,” and how it had “such a cool vibe.” (Beatrice agrees immediately to Ava’s first and last points, grudgingly to the second - though she stands by her opinion of Apollo needing to learn how to button his shirt.)
She finds herself terribly torn when deciding her personality traits and again at the first major decision point. ‘It’s just a game,’ she tries to remind herself. She can always redo, she can always play through it again, she has time - they all do.
Her decisions from then on are made on her own instincts, tries not to engage her “strategy brain” (Ava’s words) too much, even though she’d figured out the killer early in the first act. But she finds herself enthralled enough with the characters, the world, with the music that she can accept that small imperfection. (‘Life isn’t about perfection,’ she repeats in her mind as she plays the game, when her eggs turn out a bit too soft, when her run takes a bit too long; as she trails her fingers along the jagged scars that cross Ava’s skin, as Ava looks up at her and grins, laughs, and tucks her head underneath Beatrice’s chin.)
Music hadn’t played a big presence in Beatrice’s life growing up. The exception, of course, being church music, though that had been relegated to Sunday mass. There was no jazz to keep them company at home, no pop music while they were being shuttled to and fro - as a family, they’d hardly spent time together as it is, much less to develop any sort of unifying soundtrack.
Beatrice knew the mechanics of the piano and the violin, could sightread most sheet music placed in front of her but she doesn’t have the same joy Camila has whenever she sees an instrument, doesn’t have the glee Ava has when she plays the electronic drumset she’d been gifted anonymously (they all knew it was really from Lilith). Spending time with Camila and Ava together meant becoming accustomed to conversations peppered with random bursts of song - it never took much, a mere word or phrase could get either of them going - and Beatrice learns to just smile along, fond, content with being an audience to their impromptu mini-musicals.
And it’s because of this lack of experience, this lack of passion, that Beatrice doesn’t expect to like the game as much as she does. Finds herself answering emails quicker than usual, starting up the game whenever she has an hour to spare. Ava will sometimes perch on the arm of her chair and watch her play but is careful not to give anything away, always gives Beatrice space when it comes to decision points in the game.
Ava’s out running errands when Beatrice gets to the end, which is just as well: She sits there, watching the credits roll by, sits there with a bittersweet feeling heavy in her chest. Finished in what seemed like no time at all - ‘The good things are always quick,’ she thinks, and she sees the image of Freddie’s hat overlaid atop Ava’s baseball cap, held tight between her hands.
Ava finds her in the dark, notes what’s in her hands, gives a sad smile. “Finished the game, huh?” she murmurs, brushing a lock of hair behind Beatrice’s ear. Beatrice nods, leans into Ava’s palm. Ava coaxes her out into the living room, keeps the lights low as they order pizza and watch a couple TV shows that Beatrice hardly pays attention to. Ava, however, of course, is paying attention, knows to keep close for the rest of the evening, just hums into Beatrice’s hair when she clings to Ava after they make love in their bed, shuddering and mouthing silently at the space on her chest above her heart.
Beatrice wakes up before her alarm the next morning, a dream of lost boats and ancient pillars whispering at the edges of her consciousness. She goes for her run, per usual, makes her protein shake and sets up Ava’s coffee, per usual, takes a shower, per usual. It’s still early, however, earlier than usual, and Beatrice finds herself turning on her computer, starting up Stray Gods. She opens her file and scrolls back to the beginning of act three. She hesitates briefly at the warning prompt, realizes this is the first choice: keep her saved data or attempt to save Freddie?
‘It’s just a game’ chimes through her mind as she hovers over the ‘Cancel’ button. ‘It is,’ Beatrice thinks, ‘So just play.’
She clicks ‘Ok,’ and lets her decision play out. It’s strange, a part of her brain acknowledges, to make the choices that she normally wouldn’t allow herself to make. To choose selfishness, to give in to her wants. It’s not honorable, it’s not responsible - ‘It’s just a game’ repeats in her head - but Freddie comes back. And it’s not perfect, it’s not all sunshine, but they’re together and Beatrice can’t help but wonder, can’t help but be jealous, can’t help what’s already been done.
‘It’s just a game,’ she reminds herself, numb as she watches the credits roll a second time. When it finishes, it’s well past sunrise and Beatrice knows she should get up to wake up Ava, that they need to leave for the farmers market soon so they can get that cheese Ava wanted but had run out last week, but she stays fixed to her seat, afflicted by a sense of detachment: adrift.
Ava finds her, again, as she always does - as Beatrice never did, and her guilt spills out over her hands in the form of tears. It comes in waves, feels like an ocean, like a ship crashing against a cliff. There’s no music here, no songs, no lyrics; their game has already been played.
But they’re still here, at the end of it all. Ava had come back, against the odds.
‘It was just a game,’ Beatrice reminds herself as she breathes Ava in.
Reminds herself two more truths: That Ava’s here, and they have time.
They’re late to the farmers market but when they arrive at the cheesemonger, they find a wedge saved with Ava’s name on it, much to Ava’s loud delight. They find some vegetables, some fruit, they find plenty of cute dogs to pet; they walk back home hand in hand, laden with bags.
They’re cooking up some of the vegetables when there’s a knock at the door - a package. Beatrice thinks nothing of it until they’ve cleared the dinner plates and Ava’s pulling her onto the couch, pushing the package into her hands.
“It’s a lamp,” Ava explains, a careful, hopeful look on her face as Beatrice studies the small lighthouse. A melody, unbidden, remembered, rings from the back of her mind - lost at sea - and she lets her hand slide to the back of Ava’s neck, pulls her in; uses her lips to map a path from Ava’s mouth to her temple to her forehead.
As if to say, ‘thank you,’ as if to say, ‘yes, I know what it means,’ as if to say, ‘yes, it’s what you mean to me; yes, it’s what I wish to mean for you, if you let me; will you let me?’
And the answer Ava gives is the same choice Beatrice has made, will always make: “Yes,” Ava says as she pulls her in - to shore, to her arms, to her joy of life - “Always.”

(For Bloodborne)
10, 16, and 18?? 💀
I answered 10 here ! As for the rest it is quite long so putting it under there. Hope you ready 😅
16. you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)
Hm... wait I need to remember all the things I don't appreciate... and try not to make ennemies 😓 (it's really not my goal it's just personal preference mostly. Seriously depending how things are explained and presented there's lot a thing I can actually enjoy! While I would dislike when it's just throw and spam without context.)
Hm well you know as for characterisations when it's reduced to like 2 traits or extreme good / extreme bad it's hm... yeah. I mean I know I ain't a good exemple but I barely share dark headcanons 😓 but they do exist hehe.
Of course absolutely don't mind and love silly shenanigans (when you're hanging with your friends and having fun it's not always very serious) and also more dark and matures ideas. When people share it doesn't mean it's all they think to the characters! Gotta take the all picture!
But it does bother me when people believe in almost caricatural interprets like it's canon and talk down on others with different views. Somehow like they are the worst thing...like wtf.
Also well typical extreme talk about Gehrman, Maria and mostly Laurence I suppose (maybe a bit Lulu aka the holy blade but it bother me a bit less because people are generally not spamming to or being annoying as much as the others. Oh Micolash too). When people reduced them to just 2 things or an extreme. I feel it really doesn't fit with the infos within the game. I'm not a fan at all. They are all morally grey and humans. They are not clearly all black or all white. they are morally gray, they are humans!
In more details now. Well for Gehrman you know my stance already. Clearly yeah he had some issues in his life and did bad things but clearly I don't think he was a misogynistic asshole and all the stuff. Like it just don't make sense to me. I don't even wanna vent about it today XD
As for Maria well. Look I don't have a problem with the headcanon of her being a butch lesbian. I mean it's even one of my AU actually. (to put it really really simply. Bc I like having several interprets disconnect to each other in their own settings). It can be very interesting in an overall big story I think. The problem I have is when it's apparently her only unique traits and if you think or headcanon otherwise for any reasons you are apparently the worst shit to exist and getting block. Being labelled as sexist, homophobic etc. Well idk but that kind of reaction kinda tell me who the real -phobic one is 😕 really that is sad like wow who hurt you people?! to have this much anger to people just trying to have fun. Thankfully it's clearly just a minority of people who are agressive like this. And I hope they will grow, gain maturity and realise there's really no need to be that mean about such a thing. But it's been a while saw smt like this so I prefer to put this behind me there's hope.
As for Laurence I'm not really a fan of him being the ultimate bitch devil (or angel but nobody has that take almost. That would be a change. the tragic vicar who only had good intention but accidentally fucked up and try his best until the end😔 I mean I don't agree with that either but that's a change). I mean by this, that I think he did both. Good and bad things. That he had honorable intentions at first but overcome by a bit of ego and pride he fucked up really bad. And then realised his mistake but it was too late to correct it... his theme inspire great strength but who end in tragedy and pity. So overall tragic these too. Him being depicted as just a smug unlikable bitch is something I have a hard time with. I mean yes I like to imagine him being a smug bitch too at times for sure! it's fun but not like all the time and making it his entire personality. If that make sense. I don't see how he could be an important religious figure, doctor and having so much support by just being a manipulative ass all the time. Especially if he start from ground 0.
And hm... i have nothing again it and people so that we're clear but hm EXCEPT in certains very specific context* I am not personally a fan of Laurence being drawn with horns on his head. It just isn't my cup of tea. I'm not sure to understand what's the interest don't make sense to have Laurence looking normally human + just horns but it's just me.
*EXCEPT WHEN : symbolism and symbolic art (no prob I like those actually. Horns + when he's burning in human form for exemple onlooking like religious symbolism) ; "decoration" like lil detached horns, like you would put flowers or sparkles or little emoji next to a portrait of a characters ; before he transformed but with other signs of beasthood (actually him human with horns can be nice but I prefer when it's like mini horns not full cleric beast ones + idk a giant arm with claws and fur growing, eyes looking weird, teeth growing, his hair being longer and messy etc).
Now last I will stop after...
I think a whole fic or interprets on a really dark and realistic Bloodborne universe like our world can be super interesting! But I don't enjoy when people seem to think Bloodborne is 100% our 19th century with just a couple of eldritch things in it? Ok it's closer to us compared to medieval fantasy like DS or elden ring. But I feel it's fantasy too. if we had a map I won't be surprise if that's not Europe or a map that existed in real life. Lot of things don't fit to be actual victorian era. It's just inspire by it : invention and technology aren't on the same lvl. Either they are missing important inventions or are too advanced. (Molotovs appeared during spain war and were named like this during WWII) people don't seem to have 10 children working in factories or mines as well. Women are doctors, academic, hunters etc No steam machine or electric bulb but who knows. I could make an entire things... Looking at all the real life inspirations for the game is great! Create a very realistic story is very cool! But I would personally be more on the side that's it's more of a victorian fantasy. Like Sekiro can't be in our world or how Dark souls is a medieval fantasy as well and isn't medieval age accurate.
Oh boi i forgot about victorian london. Jokes are fine but bloodborne is more inspired on Prague and eastern europe i feel. You and Katy developed it more anyway
18. it's absolutely criminal that the fandom has been sleeping on...
Ok I don't know how to answer this so have a list (of ideas in my head I need to share /write one day lmao) :
Maria backstory (no seriously I want stories on her childhood, her family, what happened, how she felt toward them. Conflicted? Good terms but separate ways? Actually work for them for a while? Disowned? I wanna know! If she's actually close to Annalise ? More important in royal family that we know? Or really a random noble related to them?) Is her pyromancer real?! why she dislike blood blades?
How she got her Rakuyo
How she met Gehrman? her training? WHAT HAPPEN I NEED TO KNOW uxkcblkDOLFMBOEAMl: (sorry XD) work for Laurence & co too
Important lore Charcacters backstory before this whole mess (Laurence, Gehrman, Ludwig, Willem etc yeah basically everyone lol I won't do the entire list XD but how did they meet each other what bound them what happen.)
Stories how the healing church + blood transfusion actually came to be?
Byrgenwerth era (yeah sorry I love it XD)
So yeah overall timeline before the hunter arrive (help)
Cainhurst, Annalise, vilebloods, potential KING of Cainhurst
So yeah Logarius too
Loran, Isz and pthumerians lore??
Dores and Gatekeeper my beloved
Caryll (yeah just Caryll)
Izzy and bestial hunters. How the bestial rune was forbidden, why Laurence had it etc
Ok is everyone except 5 persons gonna ignore the fact freaking Gehrman can make more than just weapons?! well wood stuff are oblivious but how did bro can make such refined clothes hello?!?!
Religion practise how it works in Yharnam, how citizens and clerics actually practise it.
What's their history, their legend, how the geopolitic within the country is and others XD (it's more a critic about the game in itself than fandom really) In truth I'm a bit sad we know lot of countries and regions within Dark Souls but almost none with Bloodborne! Like many people are from foreign countries and we have 0 names compared to the dozens in DS. we just have like vaguely Yamamura asiatic country, Eileen's one, Valtr's city, Loran and Isz. As for Gascoigne Gilbert Brador and all the others we don't know anything. In Dark Souls we have names and we know where people came from : Catarina, Astora, Forossa, Mirrah, Carim, Vinheim, Lordran etc)
Event being seen by random citizens or young characters growing up could be interesting!
I mean many characters again
I might stop here or it will never be over sorry... I'm not even sure it's really slept one but I wish we have more. There's just so many possibilities and things that can be created!
