Inspired by Mystery Flesh Pit National Park, Fablehaven, SCP Foundation/Wanderers' Library, and various folklore stories, Lookout Basin National Park, Visitor's Guide Fall 2023 is a non-traditional storytelling exercise, where the world of Lookout Basin is explored through the park advertising. The entirety of the Lookout Basin universe will be explored through weird ways of storytelling, with other oddly formatted books and an interactive game planned in the future.

Yesterday at Work

New Boss: *mostly talking to me, but standing where My Boss could see and hear her* I'm going to have to leave at 4:30 for a while so I can pick up my son; sorry.

My Boss: You get to pick him up everyday. It's great!

New Boss: I don't know if- I might not be able to be in much tomorrow.

Me: Well, during the summer, I don't usually work on Fridays, so...

My Boss: Neither do I!

New Boss: *looking back and forth between us* Not working on Fridays? I could probably figure that out. *deep breath* Give me a few weeks. *small laugh* Or months.

Me: *grinning* I also take Wednesdays off most of the time. Even in Tax Season.

New Boss: *grinning back* I think I might really like it here.

learned something about myself lately

#i dont think its even the fact almost all my characters are somewhat beasts in one way or another. i just #really like tails and wish i had one myself #and then my oc designs are a little tame theyre mostly human shaped with animal features. but they always have tails #my eyes have recently been opened to the appeal of long whiplike unicorn tails.. so flowy and curly #something about the tuft at the end being long and swirly just does something for me.. #maybe it would make sense to change auggies tail shape so it looks like a meteor. her design is mainly pink with hot pink accent #so it would be cool to use that and orange to make it look like a fire meteor.. maybe itll help complement the blue/green in her design #head full of ocs today so expect a ramble later #if i had a tail i think it would be long with a kink. so it kind of folds over once but not in a curl #when it wags its kind of a swaying motion. i have thought about this a normal amount #yapping

Hear me out. Boothill is absolutely obsessed with physical touch and WILL always have an arm around your waist. He will shamelessly kiss you in front of others if anyone dares to flirt with you in his presence (he promised not to shoot anyone anymore). He WILL slap your ass if you walk past him and smirk with his arms crossed when you look back at him. Why? He knows you can't really slap his ass back (this one might hurt), but you're very welcome to try, he won't stop you. Will pull your chin up with his fingers and kiss you whenever he wants. Boothill will bite you on purpose with his sharp teeth to mark you, only to kiss the purple spots better, so you can melt under his touch. Boothill thinks the sidewalk rule is very important - that's why he pushes other people on the road, so you can have more space to walk, while holding your hand. He pulls you towards him so you hit his firm, metal chest with yours while he laughs, cupping your face roughly and gently kissing your cheek. He wants you to pull on his hair when you kiss, so you can get goosebumps when he groans into your mouth and feel his cold fingers caress your soft skin further down.
