In HOTD the “prequel” episodes should’ve been confined to 3 instead of 5 and those 2 episodes should’ve been spent with the green kids, specifically Aegon (older Aegon).

He’s our 2nd main character and we know NOTHING about him going into S2 and the main action other then he’s a r***st and a pos.

All his canon character traits like going to flea bottom, alcoholism, whoring, being a sex addict and a libertine, being depressed over his inheritance etc are all either just implied, hinted to or viewers heard from the books or actor interviews. For most of us it’s the books. If you only watched the show you know nada.

On the other hand we spent SO MUCH TIME with Daemon. We saw what he casually gets up to, kinda a view his daily life, we got to know him in what I even think was too much screen time. He’s an important character but not a main character so the most time should’ve been spent on rhaenyra (5+ episodes of focus) and Aegon (10 minutes max of screen time and in 90% of that we just see him and don’t get to know him at all or it’s already the main action)

We also spent so much time with Leanor who hardly has any significance in the Dance or later events.

We spent so much time on the Stepstones debacle even tho it has little to no contribution to the main plot other then one mention of the triarchy during the dance. The stepstones plot was done imo as a way to flesh out Daemon’s character and Daemon and viserys’s relationship.

But am I wrong when I say “was that really that important and crucial to take up 5 episodes?”

Look how unfair and unbalanced the info we have on rhaenyra vs Aegon is. We see rhaenyra grow up, we see an hour long well rounded view into her life, hardships, conflicts, friendships, etc that shape her into who she will be as a character and her behavior in the later action. By the time we see her in episode 8 and the real action begins she’s a character we’re already familiar with.

Instead we could’ve gotten a good 2 episodes looking into the daily lives of the green kids at the Keep. We could’ve seen Aegon in flea bottom, wandering drunk around the keep, being dragged out of brothels, partying, sneaking out at night, creeping around serving girls in a book canon way, slacking off training and lessons, bonding with or riding Sunfyre, his relationship with his siblings and family outside of only showing us the conflict parts

The whole thing with Daemon stems from “famous actor syndrome” meaning that if an actor less well known than Matt Smith was playing Daemon we wouldn’t be spending as much time with him.

GOT had Sean Bean, I was looking into the promo for GOT season 1 and it was only Sean Bean. GOT firstly attracted viewers because of him.

Kit Harrington and Sophie Turner talked about how all of the actors had to learn Sean Bean’s northern accent because Sean Bean couldn’t do RP.

I think the same could be applied to Matt Smith, without a shadow of a doubt he is the most famous actor in HoTD, and neither him or his fans would like to have him in the sidelines.

In regards to Rhaenyra, regardless of my feelings of the character, making her the protagonist was a mistake. She doesn’t survive the whole Dance, and her death occurs way too late to be like Ned Stark dying in season 1, so we would shift focus to other characters.

Alicent survives the whole Dance, her character is one of the most important to be build up for it. Cregan doesn’t do anything to her to avoid another war breaking out.

Targaryens are supposed to be otherworldly, if we got them through an outsider’s perspective it would make much more sense. Alicent seeing Rhaenyra flying on her dragon and seeing how insane this was, and how Rhaenyra saying that Alicent should ride with her would be a great set up.

Seeing how Targaryens only care about their own, no matter what they say is also a good way of seeing it through Alicent’s eyes.

Aegon, well…he should’ve been the focus of the narrative as soon as Rhaenyra leaves for Dragonstone. How does he feel about Rhaenyra? How does he feel about the fact that he was disinherited for no good reason? Those are the questions the show should be answering.

They have the skeleton of a story, finish the building, don’t knock it down and start from scratch because it never works.

oopsies my bad guys i know eyes r like scary to some people but for some reason, recently they’ve been a sign (the left is an older one from like a week ago, the right is from today) (that was as or typing the blog.. which was almost 2 weeks ago as it has been posted. i’ve seen more tho)

anyways! i wanted to make a blog on the things that have kept me going through the three years of being a reality shifter and working towards that goal of shifting

one thing i do want to say before we start, is the universe provides help, guidance and support when we’re feeling down. i genuinely believe i would not be this far into my shifting journey if it wasn’t for the universe + the tools they have given me. these are things that may also help you, but are not 100% guaranteed as we are different souls with different interests and understandings <3

anyways long blog ahead blah blah blah… 💀💀 LMAO OK

so, i’m neurodivergent and a really driven person. it isn’t easy for me to let things go either, but whenever i did feel like giving up or leaving shifting behind, here are some things i keep in mind.

dude i feel like i’ve been having dreams abt shifting since i was a kid. i remember i was first introduced to daydreaming by my 2nd grade teacher, i’ve deffo had dreams abt being in different worlds, i’ve manipulated my daydreams, and more! there’s always been a “one-up” thing in this. dreams -> daydreams -> shifting. and i eventually learned/im learning how to do each of them.

i know i’ve been damaged since i was a child, i want born into a great place, but i can change where i am. plus, i’m someone who has always wanted to have superpowers n shit so like…. why the hell not?

3. friendships 🤭🤭

girl i lose friends like every other year, so why not have some i can talk to every day? i mean i wanna have fun, right? i want to be happy and talking to people and friends makes me happy

4. for others

dude i want people to be able to experience it he change, transformation and growth i have — along with sharing the successes. i believe every soul has the ability to change and mold into a better soul, so everyone should have that opportunity. i want to be able to teach and guide to goals and success. that’s one of the main reasons i stared this blog.

5. for understanding

i want to spiritually ascend, and get over my fears of it. so i want to experience it. that’s why im doing it, that’s why i do a lot of things. to experience and see the outcome.

that’s all i got for now! i may add to this blog, depending on what happens or if i think of anything else. but for now, im sleepy n i wanna get my drafts cleared. this is my last one 🤭

The TL;DR 4 them is that theyre little fucked up guys living in a circus 2gether. Skitt is a repressed traumatized clown amphibian, Olive is a sweet jackalope who acts like an asshole as a defense mechanism, and Ena is a chaotic little shithead w a short fuse, whos actually secretly the mom friend. I like to put them in2 situations in my head and then never write said situations down. Also theyre all aspec and trans.

Skitt:

he is simply a little guy! (puts him thru the horrors puts him thru the horrors p) Oh, hes a bit fucked up actually.

-a mishmash of basically any amphibian features i think r cool! It is also a clown! Isnt that silly? Well its actually 4 trauma reasons. Lol. lmao.

-has rejection sensitive dysphoria and wants every1 2 love him so much all the time. Cries and throws up when it inevitably doesnt work out.

-ADHD!

-super in2 fashion and makeup. Can u guess why? Trauma reasons, of course! Honestly most of her hobbies r rooted in wanting 2 escape something.

Olive:

A little skrunkly autismic sourpuss. He wishes that he cud b more sincere w people sometimes, but every past attempt has been met w people shutting them down, in 1 way or another. The only person in the world he feels even mildly comfortable around is Ena (and later on in the story, Skitt).

-acts like an asshole around most people bc theyre used 2 being seen as one. And by asshole, i mean a little quiet, sulking, wet cat in a corner of the room who makes angy faces at any1 who invades their space.

-mute! This is bc bunnies do not have vocal chords. Communicates thru sign language and annoyed noises. Screams when overstimulated. Yes, bunnies can scream, just not using vocal chords. There r also other sounds they can make! (mostly annoyed sounds. He does purr as well! Just like a real bunny)

-very in2 music. Plays the harmonica and other woodwind instruments that r easy 2 steal. Can they play good? Uhm. havent decided yet actually.

-has a sort of heart shaped facial scar and a broken antler he got from entirely mundane causes (antler is permanently broke, dont question how that works bc i dunno).

-very incredibly touch averse, only tolerates Ena’s touch. theyre also fat and very fluffy! Great 4 cuddling! But he wont let u. Sorry.

Ena:

Money gremlin!!! Chaotic anarchist motherfucker!!! Probably owes u money! Is currently being gay doing crime. In this world, 1 does not have to pay/steal 2 survive, but Ena does it anyways 2 fuck shit up and stir the pot.

-escaped from a shitty orphanage w Olive.

-horrible anger issues. If Olive is a sourpuss, Ena is a bomb waiting 4 an excuse 2 go off. This is bc in the orphanage, they learned that no 1 wud listen 2 them unless they scratched and fought and clawed and bit and punched. (and shocked!). Shes generally chill tho, just, its easy 2 get on her bad side.

-sorta the therapist friend, bc its good at telling ppl what they want 2 hear. Her charismatic attitude also helps when scamming people.

-uses prosthetics! In this world, aquatic animals r given the ability 2 stay on land 4 extended periods of time via prosthetics! Want 2 know more? Ask me :>

-basically blind. Electric eels have awful eyesight, and shes no exception! She can only see bright lights and colors. They use electrolocation 2 get around. (please ask me what it is if u dont know, i am v happy 2 infodump abt anything oc related!)

Skitt has a triangular dress with purple and yellow split colors, and purple leggings. Pointy, slender legs. A long pointed yellow hat with a little green thingy on top (idk what to call it). Blue eyes with froglike pupils. Minty-green, short, curly hair. A classic clown makeup look (off-white facepaint, a clown nose, and pennywise-esque makeup lines going from the bottom of his eyebrows to the sides of his mouth.

Olive is a jackalope with short, olive/forest green hair swooping over one eye. His eyes are the same color as his hair. Most of their fur is darkish brown, while his belly, his inner thighs, and lower left arm is beige. their right arm, lower legs, and the top of their ears are black. Only wearing black arm warmers thanks to sensory issues.

Ena is a vaguely pirate-themed girlie. Dark brown skinned, with grey arms and greyish legs. Big thicc tail. Mostly black hair. Tattered black shorts and an even more tattered, dark green crop top. Has red eyes and a red sash tied around its waist. Lots of little spots all over their skin. lazy-eyed.

Personally, I hate him. I hate him for marrying his daughter's best friend, and treating alicent and her kids like shit and technically being the whole cause of the war between the Greens and the Blacks.

I read this thing somewhere, and it really made sense. It said that when aegon II was born, he should have either declared aegon his new heir, or sent something to the lords of the realm, telling them rhae-rhae was still heir to the throne (i think you said this). Instead, he decided to be the spineless lil' shit he has always been, and waited- and then died. Oups.

And also that scene where he... uh... him and alicent... Alicent being like idk 20???? and him being 50 something??? Ew?

I have a pretty healthy disdain for Vissie T; I rib him a fuckload because I think he was a genuinely useless kinda guy. He spent his tenure as King being told what to do by his power-hungry sidekick Otto, and essentially fucked over the Realm through inaction. He dicked down his child-bride waaay too young, resulting in her reproductive system getting fucked to shit and her only being able to birth a single healthy daughter. He then proceeded to have her cut open in an attempt to save the son that died after just a day of life, completely disregarding his wife's agency and his love for her. He named Rhaenyra heir to spite his brother, gave her NO training to fulfil the role, and left her to the mercy of the Realm's opinion. He married a GIRL (Alicent) he didn't even love, r*ped her numerous times, and didn't give a shit about her OR the kids he forced on her, not even the sons he so 'desperately wanted'. He forced his daughter to marry a man who couldn't have children so as to save himself from having House Velaryon as an enemy (due to the fact that he refused to marry Laena, in itself a disgusting proposition but never mind). He failed to curb the rise of the Greens and the Blacks, he failed to protect Aemond, he failed to raise his sons into respectable men who would be loyal to his heir, he failed to uplift Rhaenyra's claim, and ultimately he created the Dance.

Do I think he's a horrible man, though? No, I don't. That he was weak and spineless and generally useless is something I won't deny. But for all his flaws, he loved Aemma; he loved Rhaenyra; and he loved Daemon. He was a fairly reasonable man, and one would never accuse him of being as volatile as other notable figures of House Targaryen. As a man, I think he would have been great. But he was placed in a position he should never have been handed, and the fact that he was so poorly prepared for his station spelled the beginning of the end for his family. I think so much of his inaction and hedging was ingrained into him by Jaehaerys; that fear of making an enemy of others drove him to make no attempts at proactivity during his reign, because he'd have been told time and time again of the dangers of a civil war within his House (i.e. Maegor). I hope this all makes sense? Like, I have a love-hate relationship with the guy. I hate his choices, but I can't help but feel sorry for him.

Oh, the age gaps in ASOIAF are soooo problematic. The age gap between Vissie and Alicent squicks me the fuck out.... she says, having written a fucking SEVENTEEN-YEAR GAP between Babey and Daemon. The key difference is, Daemon's fucking hot. Lol, no hate to Vissie T; but his prime seems like it was just before he married Alicent, so she got a rough deal. AND OTTO SUCKS I DO NOT LYYYYYKE HIM -

Drasna being Diantha’s mother figure is such a great concept. She took in this sad lonely teenager and helped raise her the best she could. And she ignores any warning signs pointed at Diantha because, this is HER kid, the one she took care of. The same teenager who compared herself to a superhero, and wanted to be the worlds hero. She was a good person

Unfortunately for Drasna, she didn’t know that Diantha had a different idea when it came to being a saviour

But god the mental image of Diantha after the battle of Unova is just g r e a t. She’s really expecting her mom to be on her side. That she’s the worlds hero, the worlds queen, just like she always said she was going to be. And now looking at how…terrifying her daughter is, Drasna has to accept the facts that Diantha was always meant to the villain. She was never the hero

Also YES with Diantha being hated when she was a young champion. It gives even more reason as to why she’s so insistent on turning Iris into a proper champion, instead of just, idk, killing her to get her out of the way. Cause she sees herself in Iris and she wants to give Iris the support and upbringing she herself wasn’t given. But she’s so far gone that it’s though unethical ways like manipulation and torture

But one thing I don’t get is if part of Diantha’s plan was to wipe out Unova, or at least the league, how would Iris still be considered a champion? Since she’d have no league to represent she can’t be considered a champion of a league that doesn’t exist no more.

Unless I’m overthink that part and it was just more of a threat to kill them all?

I did have a concept where Diantha actually heard that exchange between the Psychic and Drasna, and when the Psychic left, Drasna saw Diantha hiding just within ears' reach, and Dia's tearing up, going "am I.. am I gonna be a monster..?" She chokes out, she really doesn't wanna be a monster

And Drasna's there wiping away her tears, pulling her close, calming her down, "of course not, my angel. What they said is nonesense, you know how those psychics can get. You will never be a monster."

"really..?"

And Drasna just pulls her closer to her, almost tucking in Dia's lithe form, and she whispers, "yes, my love, you'll be a hero, not a monster." Even tho she's starting to doubt it too

And just bcmxbdn God please Drasna seeing Diantha after that battle in Unova, sees how too far gone she is, the blood dripping clean from her hands and on her face, staining her white clothes, reaching out to her and god ofc she won't deny her daughter, despite it all that's her kid, that's her child, her darling Diantha, and ough just cbndnd Drasna taking her hands, her own trembling when she felt the blood, and Diantha leans in on her, sobbing

"I'm a hero now, right?" But Drasna didn't answer her, instead she just pulled her closer to her, letting Diantha fall into her arms, body strained after that grueling battle in Unova, "mom.. are you.. proud of me..?" And Diantha finally passed out, the fatigue getting to her

God please that would break Drasna bcmxjdm like imagine seeing the kid who's such a fanatic of this superhero, insisting that she'd have a similar cape and hat like him when she was younger, going on how she's gonna be a hero turn into such a merciless killer who still held on to that belief that what she's doing was right, that she really was a hero, a hero who's better than LucarioMan

And oughhh pls,,,, Diantha seeing Iris and thinking that she'd make Drasna proud too by taking care of Iris, bc hey they're similar yknow, they've been through the same shit, and if Diantha's a hero now bc Drasna said she'd always be, then hey Iris will be one too

But what she didn't expect was for Iris to go against her, why? Why would she even go against her? She's only trying to help her see her potential, to help her see how strong she was, to help her be a true Champion. But even w all that, Iris went against her, even going as far as to get her friends and the entire Unova League to go against her, and she's there wondering what she's doing wrong, she's only doing what she thinks is right

As for the wiping out the Unova League, idk I always imagine that as a threat, or rather she'd get rid of the Elite Four and Gym Leaders, Iris' League, and replacing them w other more capable people that would listen to Iris and even kill those who'd go against Iris or say shit abt her, but if they do cross her then she will just wipe out Unova along w Iris in it, what's the point of keeping a hopeless region around full of weak people, right?

But I also have this lil concept that if Diantha really wipes out Unova's entire League, then she might let Iris be Kalos' Champion, if she's gonna have a successor might as well someone who she knows is strong, someone who actually knows what's it like being a Champion. Plus do you see my lil vision for this, Diantha making Iris a lil version of her bc ofc, they got so much in common, it's only right for Iris to be Kalos' next Champion once Diantha steps down, she just has to double her efforts this time on training her on becoming a true Champion

I feel like he thinks about true zangetsu (hollow ichigo) a lot actually, even after he disappears for a while. Reframing how he thinks about him the more he grows. Reflecting on what his relationship with zangetsu says about himself on a deeper level.

Ichigo as a dad:

As u know, in my selfship cinematic multiverse Ichigo and I have 5 kids lmao. 3 boys and 2 girls in the order of B B (<- twins) G G B

As a dad he is a mix of doting and tough love. Playful and supportive, but serious when he needs to be. Ichigo has a tendency to get annoyed easily and will yell and argue with any of his friends, but he never gets loud with the kids. Ever. When communicating with them, tone is everything to him. It’s how he gets his point across and shows his authority.

He does love his girls, but I think he treats all the kiddies the same :3. Though because he got used to being a boy dad after the twins, he was a little nervous when he found out we were having our first girl. He was so gentle with her 🥺. Had to reassure him sometimes.

If Ichigo’s mom was still alive?:

I feel like he would be a very different person. Might be more expressive and emotive rather than scowling all the time. Also I feel his urge to protect may not be as strong, since he wouldn’t have lost the one thing he wanted to protect most.

Also I feel he may have been way more powerful? Because he may have been let in on his Quincy lineage and may have learned to protect himself that way before gaining his shinigami powers and being even stronger.

He would still find him annoying, but I also feel that maybe Ichigo’s relationship with his dad would be better if Masaki was still around.

Ichigo is very confident as is, but I feel like if his mom were still around he’s be confident in a different way. Rather than having to prove himself or prove others wrong, he would feel like he is already inherently good and valuable bc of his mom’s encouragement.

So, who's your favorite underrated Gbf character? A blorbo that deserves way more attention, but is shunned by Cygames and the world? Mine is Shao. He's a shifty little fox man with a great design and a tragic backstory and I wish he had more than one unit to his name because he's great.

Shao is def up in the list, and i think he especially work as "shunned by Cygames" with his one SR unit and barely participating in events.

I have a few R/SR charas i really like but have popped up in events more than him or have 2 units which already makes them maybe more popular in Cygames's eyes than Shao which is SAD.

I was thinking about it and i was going to say, maybe Cordelia because i sure love a lady that would sweep me off my feet, but at least she appears everytime Lumiel is mentioned.

Ryan is also a chara i really like but let's be real it's because i adore his voice actor (Asanuma Shintaro is just one of my fav seiyuu of all time). And i love his awkwardness and the fact he loves plushies.

I really like Garma too!!! I guess cygames didn't forget him per se since he just appeared in the christmas lines, but man i love him and it's sad he only ever got a R.

Also tbh i just got extremely lucky bc charas who could qualify also have. recently got SSR. Randall was in R/SR jail for so long and now look at him. Likewise for Elmott. And omg, TOR. I loved Tor SO MUCH when he was introduced and nO ONE was on my side on this one, until he got his SSR. 13. Unpopular opinion about XXX character?

LOZ - Ganondorf is not an interesting or cool character, hes actually quite bland. no like litterly i find him so boring as a character i barely even think about him.

Ganon is barely better but thats only bc hes a mindless beast fueled of rage and hatred which is interesting as a cautionary tale for those who seek to abuse their power and a great insight on what could happen to Link or Zelda if they ever lose themselves to their aspects of Courage/Wisdom becomign mroe spirit or god than mrotal lsogn their minds in the process and only being able to focus on one key duty of which for Ganon is to rule Hyrule(or destroy in more modern games like botw) but i have a few theories on what could happen to Link/Zelda if THEY ever abused the Triforce like Ganon did and gave up their humanity to their power

...that being said tho Ganondorf on his own just is not that interesting to me as a character. as a foil? great! as a dark reflection of what Link or Zelda could become? amazing! as what one could become when pushed to the edge and a living embodiment of the failures of Hyrule? perfection! on his own as a character i would make interact w/ others just bc i think he has something new or nuanced to say? ...no.

granted! i have not seen him in Twilight Princess and i heard he is quite good in that game so hey maybe he shapes up but as i am now i do not think hes all that interesting

LOZ - Hylia and Demise were bad additions to the LOZ franchise and the mythos should have stayed focusing on the golden goddesses/Triforce for motifs, the fire/earth/power water/ice/wisdom and wind/lighting/courage as core motifs w/ focusing on trios and the number 3 could have been a VERY interesting setting for a power system and cultural beliefs but...

making it an explicitly light vs dark story in Skyward Sword kinda makes Link's role as an equal holder of the Triforce..irrelivant as hes just Zelda's Knight/Hylia's blade now, which is boring af. light vs dark godly battles have been done a zillon times! Zelda being descended form a goddess makes sense dont get me wrong, her family being in charge of the Triforce and the female line having the power of the light force could be foreshadowing or hinting to that. hell even bringing in the idea of divine right to rule would make it make sense but like...Ganondorf being the incarnation of a god's hatred, r u kidding me?

The more I think about it, the more I think that DK and Fred are on some level the actual besties of the group - I know Fred and Jack have history through Norfolk and they clearly get on so well, but with DK, the friendship seems a bit more lowkey and that sometimes shows a different kind of closeness? what i like most about them*

this is gonna be kind of sappy, but what i love most about f(x) is that they were the ost for my coming of age story. through my formative years in high school, they were there for me. while my current self does have qualms about them working so much at such a young age, i am incredibly thankful that i had a comfort artist i could see myself in back then.

i also gotta admit, i really wanted to be an kpop artist at that age (i totally got why my parents weren't up for it so i didn't really pursue it at all) so seeing a majority foreign-born group really made me feel seen (and like being an idol was possible LMFAO); i feel like they really opened a lot of doors for foreign idols down the road and while we still have yet to have someone who truly fills amb*r's niche, i still think her presence in kpop was historic and meant something.

i don't really get many chances to talk about how much i love this group (especially irl; literally no one at school even knew of them before i started talking about em, and even then no one bothered stanning), but they will always always always be my personal favorite 💜💜💜
