It's such a powerful thing,

That we can't control,

It's like a fire in our hearts,

That just keeps burning,

And we can't put it out,

We keep searching for something,

That will make us feel whole,

But we never find it,

And we keep longing for something,

That we can't have,

It's such a frustrating feeling,

But we can't help it,

We're just drawn to it,

Like a moth to a flame,

And we keep hoping,

That one day,

We'll find what we're looking for,

But it's never guaranteed,

So we just have to keep longing,

For that something,

That will make us happy,

And we'll never give up,

We'll keep searching,

Till we find it,

The thing we're longing for.

It's hard to make it through

When we're feeling so alone

We lose our way and we can't find

The courage to carry on

But we must remember

That these feelings won't last

We'll make it through the storm

And we'll find a way to the light

Hold on to the hope

That things will get better
