important inquiry: have you ever considered what dana and teresa’s star signs are? if so, what’s the verdict?

you are so real for asking this. you're so right it is so important idk why I hadn't thought of this question before. but once you posed it, it was the only thing I could think about.

so instead of actually writing like I planned to do, I took 30 minutes to do research on zodiac signs. but if any of these seem off it's bc I 100% skimmed those articles bc I'm not reading all that.

soooo the final verdict issss

Teresa! with a Taurus sun, a Pisces moon, and a Sagittarius rising. I wanted to give her sag placement desperately bc it's my favorite sign (despite it not being my own) so it went to her rising because even though she's got a little of that pep, I feel that she's more grounded. thus, an earth sun! her sun and moon speak to her creative side and understanding nature, I think.

then ofc, Dana! with a Capricorn sun, an Aries moon, and a rising Scorpio. I originally thought Dana would be entirely earth and water but then I kept thinking and I couldn't ignore that spark, that impulsiveness she has in her that only can be found in fire placements. she's level-headed, she's determined, she's fun (at least I like to think so). I think this is a good little set that shows that.

I didn't mean to give them both one earth, one water, and one fire placement, it just worked out that way. maybe Will carries the air for their trio. he def has a Libra rising or Aquarius moon.

“the silver six” (a daisy jones style retelling of the six of crows)

here’s a sliver of the fic concept I started about a year ago. I dont think I'll go anywhere with it (mostly bc we already know the six of crows story and six of crows is more or less already fashioned in this way with different povs) but I didn't want to leave it rotting in my google drive. hope you enjoy :)

                                                     Authors Note

The ‘Silver Six’ or the ‘Crows’, as they were more commonly known, was a notorious crime unit that dominated the area of Ketterdam known as “The Barrel”. Their list of crimes is numerous, but they have all amalgamated into the most impossible and dangerous heist in history. The night the ‘Crows’ got away with $30 million kruge left a mark on the Fjerdan government and changed the course of their politics forever. We know the sparse details of the case that have been released to the public, but what else happened that night?

This book is not meant to create bias against the merchant council, the monarchy, or any current-standing forms of government. It is simply meant to piece together the full story of one of the most infamous crimes known to this world. Since the statute of limitation is up for all but one of their crimes, and the ‘Crows’ have somehow received a pardon from the Ravkan monarchs, they are able to speak freely without the worry of it being held against them in court.

Wylan: We kind of had group names? They were nicknames but they were based on our jobs in the team.

Nina: Now, Jesper gonna try and tell you that we called him “The Sharpshooter”. I’m here to make it clear for the record that we did NOT call him that.

Kaz: We didn’t have nicknames. They were roles.

Inej: We had nicknames, but it’s because we were all friends.

Jesper: No great crime family is complete without their nicknames. They called me The Sharpshooter! Pretty cool, right?

Matthias: Yes, there were nicknames. And they were all ridiculous.

hi again :) just thought of this and wanted to ask if you’ve ever read or watched the movie adaptation of maurice? it’s an excellent story about queer healing during a less than accepting era and reminds me of nbyt in many ways 

hi hi :) I haven't! definitely have seen stray posts about it here and there. but I shall add it to the letterboxd watch list! always love stories about queer healing. crossing my fingers that it'll heal the horrors left in my soul after watching kill your darlings. its been like 2 years since I've watched it and I've mentally blocked out most of it (so maybe im being a tad dramatic) but I think I do remember it being... not the easiest thing to watch.
