My entire reaction (more of a disbelieving manner) after witnessing four minutes of this excruciating pain (I WANT THAT DEDICATION. DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH DEDICATION THAT IS?!?!??!?!) Not to mention that's literally diabetes in a gift basket but I'm still willing to try it for the fact those eggs might actually taste good ....I want to go back to sleep....
...he is weaving the chocolate. Do you copy, this bitch is WEAVING CHOCOLATE

This is weird to admit but while I was reading this I was switching for every new paragraph to Dazai and Chuuya's voice and I couldn't help but lAUGHING reading this like LMAO It's true but at the same time *WHEEZEEE*
ok but bsd chapter 114 revealing the flipside of the soukoku dynamic in all its glory like *chef's kiss*
turns out that when the mission's (almost) done and you put skk in a room with no witnesses they just become each other
dazai is the one unable to stay still, agitated and wearing his emotions openly and very much stressing about a plan he can't understand (how the tables do turn), literally YELLING and RUNNING of his own violation and doing actual labor of pulling out "fyodor" from beneath a whole ass helicopter while injured without asking for help because the brawns of the team is actually secretly a black cat character
insane how chuuya makes dazai look like the overactive dog archetype here like Mister Gravity Control and I Crack Walls & Chains With One Kick is just sitting full-on cheek on fist poker face watching his beanpole of a partner struggle. his health bar is like full too besides the brief drowning stint meanwhile he himself shot dazai like three times after he crawled out of a crashed elevator
(chuuya is actually such a little shit it's amazing like it was kinda shown in him just letting kunikida blow himself up without even trying to take on tecchou or as if he couldn't just fly the helicopter away with his ability? the pm's trump card, stronger half of soukoku? mans said "boss told me come get you" and by god that is the only job he will do, overtime means nothing to him because he can't read, what a king)
chuuya is literally only willing to do the BARE minimum it's hilarious like he's done his part, he's given the Oscar-winning vampire performance of a lifetime, now he's pulling a dazai-at-the-ADA and simply refusing to work like. chilling in the back while dazai monologues and fyodor dies. bouncing sigma like a tennis ball. chilling a corner while dazai brainstorms. leisurely following dazai's running. chilling in the back while dazai huffs and puffs to pull out the body.
the biggest bsd plot twist is that soukoku on and off the battle field just switch roles for who's lounging like a bored princess while the other toils and actually does the work. if they both ever actually work on something at the same time yokohama would probably explode.

This please, yes and thank you (Imagines my Au Chuuya crumbling a bit to Dazai's touch on his cheek just in someplace random but alone)
Do you ever think of how Chuuya's life before the PM was one of constant violence and brutality?
And how he might have been touch-averse early in his life for how every touch he's known was vicious and barbaric?
Do you ever think about how this might be Chuuya's first experience of actual, gentle touch since he'd been picked up by the sheep??
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do you ever consider that the reason he looks so shocked aside from his ability getting swept away, is because this isn't a chokehold or a preparation to attack, but a mere hold?
Do you ever think about how No Longer Human might have taught him that gentle touch can be just as powerful as violent ones??
Oh, by the way,
Do you ever think that the reason Chuuya was reeling every time they closed proximity isn't only because he doesn't stand Dazai but also because he absolutely hates the contact?
Do you ever think of how Dazai might have known how much Chuuya wasn't used to gentle touch and tormented him by doing shit like this just so he can see Chuuya's visceral reactions every time?
Tumblr media
Do you ever imagine Chuuya trying to get used to gentle touch and even try to initiate some as payback?
And how he's come to appreciate and embrace it by doing so?

As you make me melt with this, I just imagine Chuuya resting his head on Dazai while standing somewhere in the Agency, full view of at least one coworker, and it's just kinda sweet how they embrace themselves as they stand there, as Chuuya listens to Dazai's heart beat. I've heard somewhere (pretty sure from a friend) about Dazai beating his heart in morse code and Chuuya could understand it + him beating "I love you", and Chuuya flushes when he realizes what it says
Chuuya taking so long to accept Dazai loved him (In his own unconventional little way) from the start. Always presuming it was a joke, because how could someone possibly love him so unconditionally? How could anyone care when he hadn't even proven himself useful to them yet? Why would Dazai have even liked him when all they did at the start was argue? He wasn't worthy of having someone say "I love you" and mean it like that.
Dazai finding it impossible that despite how long they've known each other, Chuuya still loves him. Loves him stronger for having known him longer. The idea that some one could see all the worst parts of him, uncover all his dark secrets, all his shame and strangeness and still love him so earnestly, is absurd to Dazai. People usually like him less the more they get to know him, he can't fathom someone cherishing seeing moments where he's truly himself.

Random question to my followers, but who would be interested in me sending these unfinished writes, call them unfinished, slap them in A03 for y'all to read?
WIP ask game
Thank you for the tag, @azapofinspiration! :D
RULES: make a new post with the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them, and then post a little snippet or tell them something about it! and then tag as many people as you have WIPs.
---
Ok, so my WIPs are frankly a mess and are all strewn around in my main doc folder, but I have pulled out most of the ones that I consider to be currently ongoing (plus one that I had forgotten about but now that I've rediscovered it I think it might be fun to finish at some point aksdjfksdj)
All but one of these are skk, but I'm also throwing in the original story I've been working on just for fun, it should be pretty clear which one that is based on the title alone (but just in case it isn't, heads up that the OC story is the last one on this list!)
My current WIPs:
Howl AU epilogue revamp-revamp (we'll get there eventually lads)
...Somethin'
Skyline Pigeon chapter 2
Teleporting nonsense
The Boy Who Caught a Falling Star(Howl AU, excerpts of Dazai’s perspective)
A Rose in Fairyland
(I do technically have a lot of other ones not included here but those are Messes that are not in a state to be snippeted lol)
No-pressure tags: @neonganymede, @feralrookie, @iwritenarrativesandstuff, @noose-lion, @soukokumychildren, @feralshadowdemon
Also, anyone else who sees this and feels like doing it, consider yourself tagged! :D

Is the background behind your profile pic related to your AU?
Also it is amazing, and super detailed! Has to be one of my favorite pieces of your art! :)
It is! In this scene Chuuya intends to tease and joke around with Dazai before he sets him free, since they're both in the ADA. While yes, Dazai could have broken out any time, he wished to be saved by his pRiNcE cHaRmInG once again (y'know, since everyone remembers that one scene in dead apple as such, lol). And since Dazai's hunch proves correct for whatever records he was looking for in the con storage room (going based off memory here) he steals it and they go back undetected. If you wanna see the image its here: Dj's art

Ooo! For the ask game — what is "the seams of a wizard" about? :D
It's about a rainbow-haired guy that's a teacher at a wizarding school called Koldun, I think (Russian for wizard, since I thought I'd be a little unique in that regard, idk). It's the beginning of the school year with new attendees, and he's the teacher for taking care of magical creatures. I think I was gonna make him out to be a villain that turned good over several years of conditioning and turning to the side of light, but he was a murderer back in his younger years. D'nno! It's been brewing and I honestly left it and put it down. The style of writing was beyond magical, but I don't think I can replicate it. It was unbelievably magic-induced feeling that's hard to describe unless you read it.

So idk how many of you remember that one au write I did about @carrotkicks 's little Chuuya keeping Dazai's scarf and keeping it close with him, but I added some more finally a few days ago and feel like keeping it there, since I have no motivation to continue on bahsdoghsdgh. I'll send the full thing for those who haven't read, and for those who want a refresher (I hope I didn't send the second section anywhere already, that would be kinda embarrassing..)
("Scarf")
Chuuya was once again stuck in the office room, alone. The space was vast in this place, the glass windows even more so as the light of dusk bled in through the flowy red curtains, flashing hues of pink and orange. Freedom was right outside the very walls he was caged within. And yet, it’s never felt more suffocating.
He sat in front of a mahogany desk with nothing but a pen and a few stacks of paper to occupy him. He looked over to a portrait that was set near the edge of the desk, but only briefly glancing at it. He tried to ignore the want to look back at it again, a man that used to be his age with his arms wrapped around the redhead, both laughing in the photo. Days like this, he rarely left his seat. Some would say he was practically glued to it, having to fix all the messes that Da—...the last Port Mafia leader had left before he…alledgedly committed suicide.
Just endless silence. Suffocating silence. He tried not to get distracted by the fact the only person that he ever cared about used to sit in this very seat up until a few days ago.
Nobody will ever know this pain, he thinks, determined and stubborn, despite all the 3 billion people on the planet, or atleast, roughly, they would never account to the grief that Chuuya was suffering. He never felt more alone. Standing by himself, barely holding an organization together, with nobody to truly support him other than the man that had died just recently. He dropped the pen. His arms were shaking again. Chuuya pushed the chair back and grasped at his scarf, a pounding headache making his way into his brain. He’d been ignoring the fatigue that had been hovering around him so he could focus on work. I’m fine. He tells himself, scooting the chair back forward, and placing the pen neatly beside the paper in its own holder so it wouldn’t accidentally leave ink blotches. “He doesn’t matter anymore.” Chuuya said it aloud, but it didn’t feel more wrong to announce those words. Chuuya tried to distract himself, closing his eyes briefly. The pounding headache eased when he did. It also renewed the exhaustion he’d been fighting for hours, and this time it made sure to sink its teeth in and not let go. The redhead wavered in his seat, pushing the paper away and crossing his arms, resting his head snugly across them. Just a few minutes, he convinced himself. And I’ll get back to work. Were his last thoughts, before he drifted into a deep, weighty sleep. *     *     *
The door creaked open. I slipped in. Easing the door shut behind me I lock eyes with the sleeping shape of the Port Mafia Boss. I grin. There couldn’t have been a more perfect time. I quickly cross the room and end up at his desk, making sure not to accidentally let my shadow pass over him, since the small change in temperature could startle him awake. Many say that taking Chuuya-san’s scarf was an impossible task. You’d die trying. But I wasn’t so sure. Just catch him off guard, and he wouldn’t be able to stop you. Slowly, I brought my hand to the blood-red fabric, tracing it with my finger, and carefully hooking it under some folded layers. I gave it a gentle tug, and the Boss shuddered, stirring but not waking.
So I continue. Unraveling it from his neck was a little bit of a task on its own without startling him awake. But I somehow manage. I hold the fabric tight in my hands, grinning from ear to ear psychotically. Goodnight, Chuuya-san. I think. You won’t be finding this for a while.
*     *     * A knock on the door woke Chuuya up with a start, his head snapping upward and swaying for a moment. His immediate reaction was to respond with an authoritative, “Come in.”, despite it sounding a bit softer than he meant to.
He realized it was a bit cold, but disregarded that fact as Atsushi came in, carrying a bundle of papers, looking at the sheets cradled in his arms. “I’m sorry for the interruption, boss, I know you're busy, but I need a little help with…” When Atsushi met eyes with Chuuya, he broke off. The door closed behind him. “Oh…um.” Atsushi blinked like a deer in headlights. “What?” Chuuya asked, trying to focus his hazy mind back into its natural order, eyes sticking together as if held by duct tape.
“C-congradulations?” The boy said, a small smile etched upon his features, and Chuuya squinted at him, the redhead wrapping his arms around himself, shuddering at the cold. “What do you mean, congratulations?” “Well…you stopped wearing it.” Atsushi impatiently bounced from foot to foot, promptly avoiding Chuuya’s eye contact as he looked out the window. “I’m glad you’re not dwelling on him anymore.” Chuuya flinched, but he first had to make sure they were talking about the same man here. “Who’s he?” Atsushi blinked at him, finally meeting his gaze. “Well, Dazai-san, of course.” Chuuya froze, and he suddenly started to feel some sort of crushing presence around him. Immediately he went to grasp at his scarf, starting to feel a traumatic attack ganging up on him, intent on smelling the fabric so he wouldn’t lose it. Except… His hand. Grasped on air. The room dropped several degrees. Atsushi could feel it. Could sense it. Hackles raised, he quickly excused himself in a rush, terrified. While Chuuya didn’t move for several seconds, eyes wide and unblinking. He didn’t breathe. He couldn’t. Harsh, cold claws raked down his spine as he slowly looked down.
Dazai’s scarf.
“Dazai?” The redhead called broken, a bit more desperately. It could even be called a wail. He took a step forward, his entire body shaking. Everything was crumbling physically around him as it was on the inside. His desk, reduced to splinters from the shield of gravity enveloping him. Chuuya couldn’t think anymore.
Dazai’s scarf. He ransacked through every available orifice, his fingers shaking as the crushing weight was slowly being piled on top of him to the point where he couldn’t focus, landing on his knees, the very gravity he manifested pulling him towards the earth.
The redhead couldn’t find the scarf.
Chuuya couldn’t find it.
He couldn’t breathe, his lungs constricted, as if tight coils wound around them, forbading him from drawing air.
Chuuya’s arm shot to his neck, grasping at his throat, tears welling at his eyes.
The more he felt, desperate to have simply imagined not seeing the fabric, the more his stomach plummeted, and he just couldn’t breathe, it was too much a task,  he was losing it, he lost it—The gravity field worsened and began to eat up at the room, inflating until it covered the entirety of the building floor, spooning up the walls and ceiling until nothing was left but a large expanse of cratered floor and vast, open sky.
The very freedom he seeked was right at his fingertips.
But it only caused him to suffocate all the more painfully, grasping at his hair and screaming. It was silent to his ears because he didn’t know why he was screaming anymore.
His thoughts had fled him. He bore no control of his body.
The redhead couldn’t even hear his wails of anguish as he continued to use the little air he managed to regain with each breath and use it to cry out.
Chuuya had finally, truely lost it.
Without Dazai’s scarf, or any reminisce of the man, Chuuya couldn’t hold the frayed ropes that he’d barely kept together so long. He let them snap, his power growing with his anguish, the gravity eating away at the building below him like a monster tearing a chunk out of a mountain.
The black hole surrounded Chuuya.
The tiny human with too much power.
The monster that could decimate the earth…for a measly little piece of red fabric.
Corruption ensued.
